Library
I heard the human talking a bit ago about visiting a library in the country to get a card to obtain books from up there. That is not good, is not good at all. If the human is able to obtain books from the horrible country library, that means she intends to stay up there for awhile, and means my being captured and drug along are highly likely. And what if the human makes friends at the country library? Then they will want to host her bunny books, leading to rabbit encouragement! And I don't want to think of the number of rabbits that must patronize that library. The one here certainly allows enough bunnies to hop in for reading material. I'm sure the country is much worse.

Points
The human entered some points she got for a program my litter supplier offered today, and is now checking out the goodies the points can be exchanged for. I was fine with this, but then when I popped into her room to see what merchandise she might be looking into obtaining, I spotted the bunnies, looking over her shoulder and offering suggestions. Now I am horribly alarmed. Who knows what the bunnies will suggest the human get with the points that I earned! Do you think a cat litter company would carry vegetable related merchandise?

A Few Weeks
I just heard the human discussing going to the country for an extended trip in a few weeks. She was talking about spending days and days up there, with ME along for the trip! And if they spend a good bit of time up there, I very much fear that I will be going. I might get out of being drug along for an overnight trip, but for longer, it is either go or be shipped off to jail. I wonder if the vet has forgiven me yet for my last visit?

Pool Update
The pool is back to its usual green color, and the rabbits are royally ticked. I do hope the pool repairman has doubled his insurance, and has updated his will for the bunnies have horrible things planned, should they get their paws on him. My one comfort from all of this is that the green pool is distracting the rabbits nicely from their urges to hop up to the country, with me along for the ride.

Bunny Books
Okay, I am alarmed. I heard the human just a bit ago, discussing the plots for some of the bunny novels with the grandhuman. Discussion means that she is thinking about those frightening bits of rabbit encouragement! Thinking can only lead to writing, and writing can only lead to those rabbits getting even more fired up than they already are. She's even wanting to go to the country for a bit of research!

Pool Update
The pool repairman finally arrived, and I fear that what he did this time might have actually fixed the pool. The human was saying something about how it was looking much better when she limped in after supervising the work. Just perfect. The penguins heard her, and now they're planning a little party! And of course that means inviting all of the zoo penguins to waddle over to celebrate with them. The zoo is along the route to the country! My penguin siblings will probably recruit the human to collect their party guests on the way back if she goes up there this weekend!

This Weekend
I just heard something frightening. I really must find a hiding place right away in case the human was serious. I was lounging in the kitchen just a bit ago when she came in, and the next thing I knew, she was asking if I wouldn't like to go to the country this weekend! She said I could spend the weekend playing with the bunnies up there! Do you know the sorts of games rabbits like to play? They like egg hunts and worse yet, carrot hunts! I don't want to spend my weekend hunting vegetables!

Laundry
I've been sleeping next to the washer lately. It's nice there, and the metal is wonderfully cool, so I've been enjoying myself tremendously. Well, I was enjoying my new snoozing place until today, that is, when a bunny hopped through and spotted me. So now the cotton tailed troublemakers have got the notion into their heads, that since I am sleeping by the washer, that I can supervise laundry, and poke loads in, and then lag them out once they're done. Do you know how many siblings I have? If I am forced to do laundry for all of them, I will be trapped forever!

More Worried Now
I'm getting even more worried about that scheduled visit by the Habitat for Humanity truck. I was lurking, watching the bunnies when they went hopping into the human's room, and I overheard them offering to wait for the truck next week and handle everything with the donation. They are up to something. They're probably plotting to let a truck full of new relations come trotting in! I don't want a truck of new relations!

Habitat for Humanity
Okay, I am alarmed. The human placed a call to Habitat for Humanity today. As some of you might recall, that place decided to provide homes for a few bears by having them move in here. The human said she called them to pick up some doors, and other furniture like items, but they are coming in a truck next week. What if more bears are in that truck? Really, I was sure that those people were supposed to build homes, not add more residents to existing dwellings, but it doesn't seem to work that way with the branch around here. How can I make sure they just pick up stuff, and don't drop off anything?

Dream
The human just had an alarming dream and came trotting in to share it in the hopes that means it would come true. She dreamed that the green swimming pool suddenly cleared, and became suitable for swimming. And what in the world am I going to do if that does happen? The bunnies and penguins will want to have a party for sure, and I will never get any sleep with the noise of them jumping and splashing about!

Lazy Frogs
The bunnies are getting ready to go on the warpath about that pool repairman failing to show up but they ought to go after those frogs first, in my opinion. They were allowed to move in rent free to control the mosquitoes, since the human seems allergic to most repellants, and they have fallen down horribly on the job. All they do all day is hop around, taking advantage of the green pool that is only suitable for their swimming pleasure at the moment, and croak up a horrible operetta at night. Why don't the bunnies do something about that first?

Wouldn't Want to be the Repairman
I really wouldn't want to be the pool repairman when the bunnies catch him. They're thinking about sending out an alert to every rabbit in the area, to be in the lookout for him, and with as many bunnies are there are, hopping about in this town, he's sure to be caught. Not only are the bunnies ticked about not being able to swim, but now they're concerned the green pool might attract mosquitoes, intent on turning the human into a giant bite. I told them that we have a family of frogs loitering outside, who are supposed to be controlling these things, and if there are mosquitoes, they should be blamed for falling down on the job, but the bunnies seem determined to add this to the pool repairman's long list of failings.

No Repairman Today
The repairman didn't show up today either, so the bunnies all have their cotton tails in a twist over their continuing lack of opportunities to swim. Do you think I have any moral obligation to warn him that I spotted the rabbits drawing up a plan a bit ago for a trap to punish him for the green pool that has been created due to his failure to turn up? They borrowed some snares from Betsy Bear, so I think this trap might be serious.

Swimming Pool
No sign of the pool repairman yet, although there is some chance he might show up tomorrow. The bunnies are talking of waiting in the backyard to complain should he put in an appearance. The pool is a nice frog green color, thanks to something that was messed up on his first visit, preventing the bunnies from jumping in for a dip so they aren't happy at all. I wonder if I'm required to issue a warning to the pool repairman, that he might be facing a backyard full of swimsuit clad rabbits upon his arrival?

Human Stomach Report
The human's feeling slightly better, but she still thinks her stomach is messed up a bit, so I'm trying to take precautions and keep my distance from her in case a meal makes a return trip. Really, we cats handle such manners so neatly, unlike humans where things go everywhere. I swear if this thing lingers much longer, though, I must do something to punish that clown that the human thinks sold her bad food. Isn't it bad enough the clown caters to the polar bears?

Another TV Viewing
The human just watched another TV show. I was more than a bit concerned, since when she watched this show last week, my table ended up taken over by my mass of siblings. For some reason tonight, though, maybe because the human was running late on starting the episode, they all stayed in her room, probably watching on the computer. Of course, since she got a late start with the episode, she'll probably want to watch again on Friday, which means I might have my table taken over then.

Human Report
The human still claims not to be feeling well, although she did drag herself out of bed for long enough to watch a program on that large mouse's network a bit ago. I don't like how she's looking, though, like her last meal could make a repeat trip at any moment. And how am I supposed to get service if she's taken to her bed with a stomach bug all day?

Short Post Tonight
My post tonight will be short. The human thinks she ate something that disagreed with her for breakfast, and her stomach is quivery. The computer is in her room, and I don't want to be too close in case breakfast makes a return trip.

I'm Back
I'm back, and really, the nerve of those bunnies, trying to keep me from blogging just because of a tiny scratch. It wasn't like I MEANT to do major damage, and they have no right to insist on a clawacure. Anyway, they're all in the tub anyway, scrubbing their ears. A pipe came loose under the house that required much crawling about in the dirt to reach and fix. The bunnies had some idea that I should be made to help with this. Thank goodness I was able to hide, and dodge their attempt to make me work. Do you know how bad dirt is for cat fur, and with the water from the leaking pipe, it was really more like mud!

Clawacure Booked
Josie Rabbit here. Our brother was horrible this evening, racing around to all of the windows and trying to yell out of them. We're not sure how he thought he would be heard, with the windows shut tight, and we're not sure who he was yelling at either, although if it was one of our squirrel or bunny friends, we're sure we'll find a complaint on our door in the morning. Anyway, Pinky got himself all wired up, and then he jumped on the grandhuman and clawed her. There was an awful lot of blood as a result, so he is being punished by being banned from the computer, and by our making arrangements for his clawacure.

Whispering
I heard those bunnies whispering to the human again, offering up book ideas, and then talking about how a visit to the country would be so nice so she could do book research. I wonder if I have time to figure out how to sabotage the car? I don't think capturing the rabbits and dragging them off the bed will work. There are too many of them, and even if I was able to grab and restrain a few, more would just hop into their place.

Family Trees for Others
Just wonderful. Now the human is looking at poking at someone else's family tree, as a gift for them. Does anyone know if there is a software program to block genealogy websites, so I can prevent this? Television
The human decided to watch television tonight, and on the big television and not the computer too. I would have found a hiding place, so as to not be subjected to possible odd ideas of entertainment, but then to make the situation worse, my siblings came trotting in and took over MY table! The lot of them came trotting in, and before I knew it, I was surrounded and trapped! Forced to watch television with the bunnies, bears and the groundhogs too, since they thought one of their cousins might be in this episode. And this will repeat again next week! I wonder if I have time to sabotage the televison? I don't want to watch human programing!

Horror Novel Plotting
There has to be a way to take out the electricity, or in some way cripple the human's writing attempts. I don't like the amount of time she's spending, looking at the bunny novels, or thinking out plots for those horrible bear books. So much horror. Isn't there some sort of law about putting such terror out there where innocent people can see it? And if the human gets the bear books done, it's sure to encourage Betsy Bear. That bear being encouraged could lead to the fall of the neighborhood! I have to find a way to stop this! Maybe I could attack the fuse box?

Rain Dance
Who knew that there were so many issues with a rain dance? Of course, some of them might be due to the fact the dance instructions are meant for big bunny feet, instead of fine, well shaped cat paws, but still, I don't know how I'm ever going to figure out how to do this, and I absolutely have to. Now the human is looking at the volume of those horrible novels where the bunnies go to CHURCH! I want to shudder, just imagining the horrors if the human gets that one published. It will only lead churches to thinking rabbits want to attend, and they will start making their buildings even more rabbit friendly. Isn't it bad enough they make their church sales bunny friendly?

Friday Activity Report
The human decided not to go to the bakery, since the refrigerator repairman ended up tying up half the day. Such an annoying repairman. I don't care if the fridge is where my cheese is located. I was thrown into jail when he showed up and was highly inconvenienced. The human has been talking about those novels a good bit, though, which makes me fear she really might do something about writing this weekend. I wonder if I could find a book with one of the rabbits' rain dances, to keep her home, or possibly knock out the power and cripple the laptop?

They chattered to the human, and now she's wanting to go and lounge at the bakery to work on her novels tomorrow, including that frightening novel starring Betsy Bear! Can't Believe the Human
I can't believe the human. The bunnies are a bad influence, is the only explanation I can think of for this. I just heard the human saying how much she would enjoy living in the country at the cottage! THE COUNTRY! Do you know how many vegetables are in the country, whole fields of them just down the road! Bunnies Getting Bolder
My rabbit siblings' bunny friends are growing bolder. Usually they lurk in the backyard, which is okay, since then no one will see them, and think that I approve of their presence. This afternoon one of them got bold, though, and was lounging openly in the front yard for all the world to see, and to get the impression that this is a rabbit house! I'm sure those horrible relations of Nick the Cat who lurk around, spreading bad luck saw the bunny, and were laughing. Does anyone have suggestions for putting this bunny in his place, in the back? He looks rather fat and sassy. I'm not sure if I could net and drag him back there.

Really, I don't know why in the world she keeps letting those rabbits lounge on her bed. I'm sure they scatter carrot crumbs everywhere. Cake
One of our neighbors had a death in the family, which is of course horribly tragic, but now the humans have made it more tragic by giving them a cake, chocolate flavored with a fudgy topping. I think you can all guess how Betsy Bear reacted to a desert being donated to anyone but her. She's in the human's room right now, watching the neighbors' house, plotting to pop in when they're at the funeral, and relieve them of the cake, and any other snacks she can find. I wonder if I have time to flee the area before this robbery? I don't want to be anywhere in the vicinity when Betsy attacks the food.

Alibi!
If anyone asks, I was here all day. I was right here, and thus can't be held accountable for anything that might have happened at that giant yard sale. It's almost too horrible to write, and I am expecting the law to arrive at any moment to take that horrible, awful bear into custody. Every year, Betsy amuses herself at this sale, robbing the senior citizens of all of their goodies while the human is looking at the book sale they always have, and then that bear hits the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Well, this year both groups were missing! MISSING! And I'm sure their vanishing act is due to Betsy Bear's antics. Oh, the law will be here soon for sure. How long do you think that Betsy will get for driving those poor, poor people back to some foreign war in hopes of escaping her?

Tomorrow
The human is wanting to go to a yard sale tomorrow. Needless to say, I am concerned it might be that big one she enjoys visiting so. I just saw Betsy Bear trotting by with her extra snitching sacks in case it is. Really, I don't know why those people keep trying to sell stuff at these events. I'm sure they can't make a profit with that bear running loose. I just hope they thought to double their insurance this year while they still have time.

The bunnies are poking around, looking for a book on creating book trailers. I fear that soon they will decide to look up videos on making videos too. I think I'm in trouble. Since I kept saying I didn't want to be in the movie, I think the bunnies and the bears intend to put me to work filming! Just perfect. A day of following those rabbits around, shooting footage of them and I don't want to think of what filming Betsy will be like. That is a horror film waiting to happen. And More Video Trouble
Oh, this is getting worse! Now the bears are wanting to make a video too, and that will require my presence. A bear video. Betsy Bear on video. That ought to get the film an X rating right there. Now how in the world can I avoid appearing in this video with that bear? I do not want to appear on film with her and look like an accessory to her delinquent behavior. As much as I don't want to, I think I might have to offer to film this horrible thing, to avoid an actual camera appearance.

Still no sign of the pool repairman. I don't like how the bunnies keep looking suspiciously at me, and then at the phone, though. I think they might be getting the idea in their fluffy heads that I was the only one near the telephone at the times the repairman might have called, and thus most likely to have said something to prevent his showing up. So now they are looking for my leash, and planning a nice, long session in front of the laptop, watching videos on WORK! Should you have cookies in your home, I suggest you eat them now while there is still time, for Betsy Bear is on the warpath. The humans bought two packs of cookies on Friday, but upon the opening of these cookies, there was a horrible smell like motor oil, and and even worse taste. Needless to say Betsy, who had been standing by with milk for cookie munching was not pleased at all, especially since these were the only cookies in the house. She's talking about punishing the bakery, but first she intends to hunt down more cookies to munch. Beware should you have cookies! Betsy might be coming after you soon!

I can't believe this, and I will see that home improvement store in court! The humans dropped in there this afternoon on their way back from the vegetable fest, and the person who waited on them gave them the news that he completely redid his house based on info from videos on Youtube. So now the bunnies are camped out, making a movie playlist of work related features to watch! And they expect me to attend this viewing! Swimming Pool
The swimming pool repairman hasn't showed up for the last two days to finish the job he was hired for, and get the pool into shape for the bunnies and the penguins. Now isn't that just a horrible, horrible shame? Hehehehehehee! That storm actually did me a good turn, taking out the answering machine. Now there is a much greater opportunity to reach the phone before the human on the other end hangs up. Not that the bunnies and penguins can ever prove that I am doing something with the telephone to prevent the repairman from showing up so they can go swimming. Bunny Book
Does anyone have suggestions for possibly sabotaging the phone, the car and any other things that the human can use to contact that person at church? I just heard her a bit ago, talking about how she needs to check in with them about the rummage sale promotion, and wouldn't it be nice if while she did that, if she checked too, about hiring that person she learned of to provide the cover for the rabbit work. A cover with a rabbit on the front! Have you ever heard of something so frightening? It will have a rabbit and a vegetable on the cover. And the bunnies are sure it will appeal to the farmer's market bunch and the food co-op people too. There must be something I can do to prevent this illustration from taking place!

Second Sunday Horror
The bunnies shared another horror from yesterday with me while they were lounging around awaiting the arrival of the repairman who is to get the pool fixed for their bunny swimming pleasure. Apparently while the human was at Sunday sermon, she got the happy news that the people in the pew in front of her have relations who are artists. So now she thinks she might have a good solid lead on getting that nightmarish rabbit book illustrated. Sniff, sniff, sniff. Really, the church should be ashamed of themselves! Country Visit
The humans took a little trip to the country today, in the company of three rabbits, to check on the cottage. When they returned. the bunnies were pleased to announce that everything was perfect, and then they started bouncing around chatting with other rabbits about how nice it would be to go up there in a few days, just in time for that nightmarish event honoring the tomato. I know I saw one of them hopping off to get my leash too. I don't want to attend something honoring the tomato! The event always has a cannon on hand for some nutty reason, and Betsy always manages to swipe it. I don't want to be there where I can be declared and accessory to her crimes!

Beauty Parlor
I barely escaped a trip to the beauty parlor, and a clawacure today. The bunnies located a beauty parlor that serves felines, and they were all fired up to drag me in for a trim, and probably a bath or something torturous like that too. I wouldn't put it past them to want to bathe me. They were lurking with my leash, and I was sure they were going to catch me, but thank goodness, the humans were expecting a repairman, and weren't able to drive the bunnies to the parlor with a captive cat. I fear what they might have planned for Monday, though. My poor claws!

Geese
Does anyone know what sort of living accommodations geese like? I just learned that a flock of these birds are living down by the creek only a couple of blocks away. That creek is on public land, and I don't think it is very fair for the city to collect money for renting to the geese, when there is a perfectly nice feline in the bird dwelling business so close by. What can I do to make my property more attractive to the geese? We've got a swimming pool with a diving board here. Don't you think they would like that much more than the boring creek?

Hot Water Heater
We had another storm today. When it started, I looked around for the bunnies, sure they were dancing, but the lot of them were in the human's room, snoozing, so I'm not sure who to blame for the weather. Anyway, the power failed once more, and then when it returned, we got the happy news that lightning had damaged the hot water heater, and the kitchen was filled with an awful, smoky odor. Until the offending smell was tracked down, my siblings thought an evacuation was in order. I was almost trampled by Betsy Bear, rushing for the car! A neighbor was able to pop up, though, and hopefully fix the thing. The issue now is that the human is severely allergic to smoke, and must dose herself with sinus medication before it is too late. And while she's dosed and snoozing, who will be watching the bunnies?

Nut Alert
The tree continues to grow. A relative offered to look up some obituaries for the human, so she sent off a long list bright and early this morning. I don't know what I'm going to do. And there is still no fence around that tree. What if a nut falls off one of the upper branches and hits a cat? Can I be sued by my fellow felines? It isn't like I've done anything to encourage the growth of that horrible, awful tree!

Today's Nightmare
The human did find the information on Cousin Fred today. Horrors, oh, woe and horrors. That tree is growing more and more, and I don't like the looks of some of the nuts perched on the limbs. I'm sure there is a high danger of one or more falling and squishing something. I wonder if I can demand some sort of fencing be put up around the tree to protect my fellow felines from falling nuts?

More Woes
My troubles continue. Now the human believes she has found Cousin Fred! She saw a picture that she is sure is him as an adult, and now she's got an email in to the person who posted it asking questions. Oh, this can only lead to trouble, Finding Fred will surely lead to his brother Cousin Ernest, and probably to his sister Cousin Lucy too! I suggest people take shelter immediately, least a falling nut from that tree hits you.
Woe is Me! Woe, woe, WOE is me!
Before the human could even try calling that church, she did a bit more poking online, and in a horrifying bit of news, she found that Cousin Elmer is dead! That awful relation just had to have an unusual name, making him easy to track down, and then he just had to go off and get himself captured and killed in World War II, which made it easy to find the rest of his annoying, annoying family in Louisiana. That terrible tree sprouted several new limbs with the happy news of the marriage of several of Cousin Elmer's siblings. A falling nut warning should go into effect right away.

Cousin Hugh
Since the rain has trapped the human indoors, and has made getting to the archive difficult, the human has developed another plan. She is going to call a church tomorrow, right after Sunday sermon, to see if they have any records of Cousin Hugh. Nothing good can result from this, absolutely nothing. If this church is helpful, it will only make the human want to VISIT and it's right down the road from the country cottage! Now I must somehow sabotage the phone too, before the bunnies can offer to dial the number for her!

Fans
The humans lagged home another fan today, and there was talk about how it would be so useful at the country cottage. Oh, I don't like this sort of talk at all! If they're getting fans for that cottage, it makes me fear greatly that a visit is being planned! I just escaped a visit only yesterday! I can't be threatened with the country again so soon! Does anyone know how to sabotage a fan?

Happy News
The grandhuman vetoed the bunnies' plot to spend the night in the country, claiming it was raining too much. Really, this is the first good turn that the rain has done me. All it has done until now is added the bunnies' gardening plans, but if it has now saved me from capture and a country trip, I will welcome it.

Frightening
I heard something alarming just a bit ago. The human was chatting with the bunnies, and she was talking once more about how much she enjoyed her last visit to the country and how much she would like to go back. Sniff, sniff, sniff. So the bunnies suggested going again in a day or so. A day or so! That isn't enough time for me to find a hiding place!

The Bus
I must sabotage the bus right away. The human found another annoying batch of relations who have had the nerve to die, and she is wanting to go to the archives to hunt down their obituaries. Really, those people should be totally ashamed of themselves. Don't they have the least bit of common sense? And it will be just my luck they will have left extensive obituaries too. Anyway, I'm thinking about risking it and recruiting one of Nick the Cat's relations to stroll around the location where the buses are dispatched from. Surely if one of those cats walked in front of all of the drivers, it would be enough to save me from the human researching that tree more.

More Nightmares
Really, I ought to sue all of the human's relations for the trouble they are causing me. I'm almost afraid to sleep now, since it seems every time I turn around that human is adding a new branch to her horrible, awful tree. My napping has been disturbed horribly and I am very sure that keeping a kitty from sleep violates some sort of law. I don't know what I am going to do. Now Cousin Gladys had the nerve to die, and Cousin Virginia too. And I won't even get into the LIVING relative the human is chatting with on Facebook!

More and More Nightmarish Tree News
I am a nice cat. I don't know why I must continue to be punished like this. I really don't. I think I'll have to move under the table. Surely I will be safe from nuts falling off the tree under there. Now Cousin Sandra has died, and left an obituary with information the human can use to CALL her survivors! And, oh horrors, Cousin Edward is dead as well, and now Cousin Audrey too. What are these people thinking, having the nerve to die, and then having the nerve to place an obituary in the newspaper? It would serve them right if a nut fell of the tree and smashed their tombstone!

Call the Police!
Horrors, horrors, horrors! Someone call the authorities at once! Oh, you won't believe this, and someone should be arrested for this right away! The human was poking a bit a the family tree in preparation for a possible archive trip next week and you won't believe what she found. Cousin Irene is DEAD! She is dead and she left an obituary detailing the names and information on her THIRTEEN children! Thirteen of them, and then her daughter, Cousin Patti, had the nerve to die too, and leave an obituary as well! The tree shot up several feet upon the human discovering this information! Doomed! We're doomed!

Swimming Pool
The bunnies didn't go to the country today, but I'm almost wishing they had now. Instead, they amused themselves helping the humans with opening the POOL! I was hoping the humans would forget about opening that thing this year, I really was, but after the storm that someone danced up, the cover was damaged and there was no choice. It's filling with the last of the water now. This is going to be a disaster. All that pool does is attract penguins, and provides a place for the bunnies to splash about between gardening. Only disaster will result from it being open. I think I just spotted my penguin siblings with paper for constructing party invitations too! Do you know how disruptive a penguin party is?

Sweaty Fur
It's just terrible. My poor, poor fur is all sweaty! We had a power failure just a bit ago, and once more the house ended up roasting! This time the lack of air was due to a storm. I swear if I find that the bunnies danced up this bad weather while celebrating their impending country visit, I will make them pay. I don't know how I will ever get my fur back into shape, and what if some other cat sees me and thinks I got sweaty from WORK?

Explosions
Once more people are celebrating the birth of our country by trying to blow parts of it up, and by ruining my napping too. Really, there should be some sort of law against this, blowing things up in a cat residence zone! And did you know that the bunnies can roll their big ears up? They have them curled in buns, pinned to the top of their heads, so the noise isn't bothering them at all!

More Nickels
Really, we must live in the most careless part of town. The bunnies have now drafted their friends the squirrels into hunting down change to be used for books. Have you ever seen a squirrel dragging a sack larger than them, with the tail included, up the sidewalk to be delivered? Apparently the squirrels searched the park, and under the slides and swings were a goldmine of loose change, that had escaped the care of various children. What where those children thinking? Do they want to see me drug away to the country so the human can go book shopping?

Nickels
Rotten rabbits. You won't believe what they have done this time. First, they hopped out this morning with the human for breakfast, and while the human was finishing her meal, the bunnies amused themselves searching the parking lot for change. Apparently a lot of humans had been rather careless, for they returned with a nice sack. A sack, and they intend to donate the money to the human for book purchases! A country trip in in the offing for sure, with the bunnies offering that cash and the wonderful book sale the human found going on. I'm doomed! Doom
The human is no help against my fast approaching doom. Really, I'm not sure why I have human servants if they aren't able to do a better job, keeping the bunnies in line, and preventing them from going through with their plots to drag me off to the country. Honestly, the human might as well encourage the bunnies. She's talking about all of the fun she had the last country visit, reading a ton of books, and the wonderful book sale she found up there too. And of course the bunnies are encouraging this, and are even offering to provide more books for her reading pleasure so she'll want to go up there again. They've offered money for her to use at the book sale! Woe is me! Some foolish person is selling books for five cents! You know that will attract the human, especially if the bunnies are paying!

Country Approaches
My doom is fast approaching. What did I do wrong to deserve this? The bunnies are hopping about, making plans for a country visit next week as I feared. They've already came around, to inform me of my seating assignment, shoved into a seatbelt between two rabbits, with a couple of smaller bunnies sitting in front of me. I'm afraid they might honestly get me this time, too. Woe is me! They claim the country will be nice, that they will offer me an air conditioner and everything, but I don't trust them. I'm sure they're going to plot to put me to work at something if I dare set a paw up there!

Air Update
The repairman actually arrived in a timely manner yesterday and restored our air before I was forced to move in with the dogs. Apparently someone had somehow killed the fan in the air conditioning unit. I would suspect the rabbits of doing it somehow with planting or digging, but their garden is nowhere near the air conditioning, so they can't be to blame. That leaves Nick the Cat and his relations as prime suspects. I'm sure they would love to make me miserable with heat. I wonder if that fan can be dusted for paw prints? I'm sure his prints are on file someplace.

Air Conditioner
It's horrible! Terrible! Nightmarish! And the bunnies will probably use it as an excuse to arrange some unpleasantness for me! The air conditioner just DIED! The house is now roasting! A roasting house, and I am wearing my best fur too. Terrible, it is just terrible, and did you know with those big ears the heat doesn't bother bunnies? They just use their ears as fans and are perfectly comfortable. Well, I am not! My best fur will get all sweaty. I wonder if those dog cousins would like a houseguest?

Country Fast Approaching
It's horrible, just horrible. I don't know how I'll be able to sleep with this looming over my head. I may become the first cat to suffer insomnia. The bunnies are talking about going to the country for several DAYS next week! They want to be gone days! That means I will either be forced to accompany them, or I will be trapped here where the bunnies who stay at home to supervise the garden will be plotting my conversion to their vegetarian lifestyle! I may never sleep again just thinking of it!

Bunny Bakery
I can't believe this, but someone, obviously a human without sense, has allowed the bunnies to go into the baking business. A batch of them are now producing bread with a little smiling bunny on every loaf. I can't believe the foolishness of humans to allow this. I'm sure the bread has any number of vegetables mixed in as part of some secret plot to convert people to vegetarians. I can imagine the bakery now, with rabbits hopping everywhere, mixing up bread at lightning speed because bunnies can't seem to manage to do anything slowly. And my bunny sibling are wanting to get a loaf of this bread now, to support their fellow rabbits, which means a trip to the store with the seed sale!

More Country Issues
I can't believe this. I just heard the human talking about how she would like to go to the country again at the end of the week! Apparently she had a ton of fun up there, and is eager to return to enjoy herself some more. Well, I DIDN'T have fun! The bunnies nearly filled my dishes with vegetables while the humans were away! What in the world will I do if they're left in charge again? Really, the bunnies have been getting their way for much too long. It's making them sassy and entirely unmanageable. Maybe I should hide the humans' car keys, to prevent another country trip.

They Went
The bunnies went to the country with the humans yesterday. I would have posted a warning, but when they hopped off, they took the computer with them, and I was left internet-less. Somehow, I persuaded the humans to let me stay at home while they left with the bunnies. Really, I was so pleased to see their cotton tails as they hopped out to the car. Then I turned around and realized that only six bunnies had actually left. The rest were lurking by my dish, my backup dish and the backup for the backup dish, measuring the food left behind, to see how long it might last before they could fill the dishes with VEGETABLES! I ended up having to gulp three dishes down in one sitting, to have the strength to last until the humans returned this afternoon. If they had stayed a second day, like they were considering doing, I don't know what would have become of me!

Packing
I think the bunnies might be going to the country this time. I spotted them a bit ago, with their little suitcase, packing it full of CARROTS! They're packing food, not a good sign at all. And I'm sure I saw my backup dish going into a sack too. This isn't looking good at all. I didn't see a sign of my food going into a bag, just the dish and the suitcase full of CARROTS! What in the world am I to eat if they drag me to the country?

Pumpkin Report
Okay, I need suggestions for seed sabotage. The bunnies have that pumpkin seed lounging in a little container, drying after it's first soak as part of the sprouting process. And as soon as the things are dry they go back in for another rinse and repeat until the root pokes its tail out. Sniff, sniff, sniff. And when that happens we are all DOOMED! What can I do to stop this process? I thought about trying to roast the seeds, but I'm not sure of how to turn the oven on to cook them.

The humans hope to go up there tomorrow to check the cottage, and if all goes well, then they want to head up there for the weekend. What in the world am I going to do? Someone call the authorities right away! Oh why didn't the human just go to the movies as planned this afternoon? The blissful, safe movies where the worst that could happen would be the bunnies guzzling carrot juice and munching vegetable flavored popcorn. She didn't do that, though. Oh, she did something so much worse I feel faint just thinking about it! She went to the food co-op! She went to the food co-op in the company of the bunnies! And do you know what they came back with? Pumpkin seed, at least an ounce of pumpkin seed! Do you know how many seed are in an ounce? They plan to go to work on sprouting the seed bright and early in the morning. We're DOOMED!

Pencils
I just spotted the bunnies, hopping about with a large pile of pencils, and several carrot shaped pencil sharpeners. Do you think I need to be concerned? They have a bunch of notepads too, and I don't like the way they keep checking the human's genealogy stuff and taking notes. If they get into the archives, we are doomed! Those rabbits hop about so fast, if they go to work helping research, I don't want to think of the amount of material the human will be able to get her hands on. Research Encouragement
I was right. The human's awful genealogy research has been encouraged. The human who bought that book from her has also offered to play host when the human heads off to visit the state archives! This is awful. Now she has a place to stay. I'm sure that will only make her more eager to go. My one hope is that this human won't agree to host the bunnies as well. That's all the human needs, to have them along as research assistants. They would be able to hop about and gather alarming amounts of material for her, faster than any human, which can't be good.

That horrible, awful reunion was held today, and you won't believe what happened. It was terrible, and I'm not talking about Betsy's attacking the reunion cake either. We were getting the materials sorted, to be bagged for the reunion goodie bags, and what did that cat do but jump right in the middle of the table and start knocking our neat piles to bits! Those bunnies are up to something! I am sure of it! There has to be a hiding place somewhere in this house that those rabbits won't think to look in!

Me Again
It's me, Sir Pinky, again. The bunnies got distracted finally so I was able to get back on. That horrible, awful reunion is this weekend, and for some reason, the rabbits are primping for it. They're all in the bathroom now, doing their ears, and putting some sort of bunny beauty product on their tails to make sure they're nice and pluffy and cottony. Needless to say, I am suspicious about all of this. Why are the bunnies fussing so much about their appearance? Are they planning something for the reunion that they think they'll need to look especially nice for? And if so, will it result in work for me? Maybe I ought to hide now just in case.

Brother
Josie again. Well, our brother's snuck on here for the last two days, despite the fact that he was banned from blogging. Really, he ought to be ashamed of himself, hopping on the second we were in the tub, scrubbing our fur. It's a wonder our human didn't end up a hive covered mess thanks to him. Well, we will be watching him from now on to prevent this. Okay, the flea medication has probably sank in by now, but he still deserves punishment for huffing and puffing and alarming that poor, poor vet like he did. And we just don't know what in the world is his problem with our garden. It's going so well. We're hoping to get more pallets soon, so we can really get our garden going. And it's rained off and on for the last two days, we're happy to report so our plants that we poked out on Saturday have gotten a nice start.

Awful, Horrible Tidings
I was able to sneak on again. The bunnies are washing their fur once more, to remove any traces of the dressing from the salad bar they raided this afternoon. They don't have to scrub those ears, though, so who knows how long I have to talk. The bunnies obtained two more sacks of dirt this afternoon for bed construction. And you won't believe this, but when they were hopping about the store parking lot, gathering the dirt, a vehicle from animal control was there. And did they do their jobs and arrest those rabbits as a threat to our poor neighbors? Oh, no! They patted them on their ears, and praised them for their industry! Really, can't they be punished for that? Encouraging the bunnies instead of doing their job and trying to control them? Wait, I think I hear hopping! How did they finish bathing so fast? Got to go!

Horrors! Oh, Horrors!
It's Sir Pinky. The bunnies are in the bathtub, so I was able to sneak on. They're scrubbing those long, floppy ears at the moment, so I'm sure they'll be awhile. Oh, you won't believe the horror that happened today. Those rabbits fixed up the first of their beds, made from a pallet. It's out in the garden now, alarmingly close to my catnip patch, and filled with 24+ tomato plants! Over twenty four tomatoes, and that is in addition to the plants they already own, and the seedlings they have sprouting. And according to them, it's just the start of their planting too They're planning to hop to the store tomorrow to get more dirt, to construct more beds! The neighborhood is doomed! Doomed, I say! As soon as they finish planting the tomatoes, they intend to move along to cucumbers, and the aggressive watermelon! We are all doomed!

Dirt!
The dirt is here! We hopped out this afternoon and got two big, fat sacks full of it, along with a roll of the landscaping fabric. We were going to go out and assemble the new bed, but then when we went to look for the stapler, to tack the fabric in place, it turned up missing. We're sure the cat knows something about this. He was chuckling suspiciously when we were searching for the stapler, and looked all together guilty of something. Well, we will show him. If we don't find the stapler tomorrow, we will buy a replacement! Those beds are being assembled!

Now she is worried that her legs are itchy where he amused himself rubbing agains her. Does anyone have any suggestions for possible punishments, should our brother turn the human into a hive covered mess? Well, besides dumping him into a tub of water and forcing him to scrub his fur for hours on end until the flea stuff is removed, obviously.

Dirt
We have high hopes of getting dirt, to assemble our new garden bed in the pallets tomorrow. Oh, it's going to be so NICE to get things together. And we might go to the country this weekend, too, and you know there are a ton of plants up there we need to get for planting purposes. We're just going to have such a good time with this. The only problem we bunnies see at the moment is that delinquent brother of ours and his continuous complaints. Really, we don't know what his problem is. Now he's objecting to where we plant to put these pallets, claiming that they might overrun his catnip patch. Really, we are the gardeners here. We tend that patch for him. He just enjoys the crop. He has no right to try to use it to prevent our garden plans.

Wonderful News!
Josie here again with wonderful news! We got our paws on the first pallet for our garden construction project today! We just have to pick up the landscape fabric and the dirt to fill it with tomorrow and we can get right to work! Needless to say, that brother of ours pitched another fit when he saw the pallet, and now he's hiding and moaning about the coming arrival of the dirt. We really don't know what's wrong with him. You would think he would be happy with this. Planting in the pallets means we won't be requiring assistance with digging up to ground for the garden after all. He will be spared work due to this. He should be pleased. The only assistance we might ask for him to give us is in holding the corners of the landscape fabric while we staple it in place. That doesn't even count as work!

Josie Rabbit Here
Hi, it's Josie Rabbit, taking over the blog for the moment. Our brother had his flea treatment today, and really, he ought to be ashamed of himself. He pitched a fit, and tried to huff and puff and imitate the Big Bad Wolf in order to blow the vet away. Who knew letting him watch cartoons with us would be such a terrible idea? Anyway, they had a new vet out there today, and we wouldn't be surprised if she didn't flee the state after coping with our brother. It is so embarrassing. At least we don't have to go to the vet, though, so unless she visits this blog, she will never know we're related to that cat. Somehow, the flea medication was applied, we can only assume with a squirt gun from twenty paces, so our brother is banned from the computer until it is deemed sufficiently soaked in so as to not turn the human into a hive covered mess. And then he will be banned for a bit longer for his terrible behavior!

I heard the humans a bit ago, plotting to drag me to the vet for a flea treatment, and those bunnies will refuse to let me even look at the computer for a few days if I have flea medication applied. Really, I don't know what the big issue is. Okay, the human turned into a hive covered mess upon her last exposure to a pest repellent, but the bunnies have no proof that the flea medication has the same ingredients. And even if it does, why can't the human avoid the computer instead of me? Just because it is in her room, right by her bed, isn't a sufficient explanation in my book.

Flea
I can't believe this. The grandhuman found a flea on me! A FLEA! The bunnies are to blame somehow, I am sure of it. Goodness knows, I never go out. With all of their plants, it is highly dangerous out there. Therefore, the bunnies must have brought the flea in somehow. I'm just not sure of how they did it, since they don't seem in the least bit itchy. Are fleas supposed to be good for anything in the garden, or possibly garden pest control? Perhaps the bunnies purchased some fleas, and they got loose.

Awful! Terrible! Horrible!
I can't believe this! Doomed, we are all surely doomed! The humans had to drop by the graveyard this afternoon, and for some odd reason a couple of rabbits hopped along. Okay, it wouldn't be so bad if they had just visited the cemetery, but, horror of horrors, on the way there, they decided they needed to stop off at the produce store to pick up a sack of fruit. And do you know what that produce place had going on when the humans got there? They had a sale going on involving tomato plants! The bunnies came hopping home with 24 plants of various types, and they were so pleased with the deal that they got, that they are thinking of hopping on the bus tomorrow, with one of Betsy's snitching sacks, to lag back more plants! We are doomed! We are all doomed!

Cousin Edward
More awful news. The human found Cousin Edward on the census, and his son, Cousin Edward Jr. and even worse, Cousin Edward Jr's offspring, who he amused himself giving an unusual first name which will simplify tracking her down. Sniff, sniff, sniff! The tree is GROWING! And I don't like the way some of those nuts on the top of the tree are looking either. I'm sure they're going to fall and squish something. Oh, and the human found Cousin Edward's sister, Cousin Harriet, too, and her offspring and their offspring as well. So much tree growth!

Sue the Mormons!
I must sue the Mormon Church right away. Really, I don't know why those people aren't up to their necks already in lawsuits for encouraging the growth of family trees. Really, with how fond they are if encouraging those things, one would think they were relations of the gardening obsessed bunnies. Oh, you won't believe what they have done this time, though. They have amused themselves indexing the 1940 census for Kansas! Kansas where the human has a ton of relations! Sniff, sniff, sniff. Thanks to those horrible, awful people, she has already found the married name of Cousin Doris! Cousin Doris! Finding her married name can only lead to finding obituaries, and then to tracking down her offspring. Oh, sniff, sniff, sniff! And Cousin Doris couldn't be bothered to marry someone with a common name like Smith or Brown either, but picked someone with the most unusual name possible, with means the human thinks tracking her family down will be a breeze! We're doomed!

Jammies Update
The human continues with her rabbit dressing. She's been going on and on about how soft the bunny jammies are, and how comfortable, and now she's talking about how they would be the perfect attire for the COUNTRY! She wants to wear them up there! I have never been so humiliated in my life. How will I ever explain it if any country kitties see her, dressed in rabbit-lovers' attire?

New Bunny
There is a new bunny on the loose. Really, he was probably attracted to the neighborhood by the human's bunny jammies or something, for he showed up right after she put them on. My bunny siblings looked out a window this afternoon and spotted this bunny, hopping about the back yard, checking out their garden work. Just perfect. Another gardening rabbit, and he's a smaller bunny too, so I'm sure he's young, and undoubtedly has bunny parents and a ton of rabbit siblings in his burrow! So now there will be more bunnies, to loiter in the backyard, garden and party with my siblings! What did I do to deserve this? Do you know how annoying bunny parties are?

Buffet
The local pizza place is still offering an all-you-can-eat salad bar for some reason. Do you think I should alert someone that loons are obviously running free? Those humans would have to be out of their minds to offer such a thing anywhere near my bunny siblings. The human let them hop out there with her, and once more they cleared the entire thing out, along with all of the veggie lovers pizza. Okay, I can kind of see the though behind having the salad there, to lure bunnies in, but still, surely those people know how much salad bunnies can eat! To allow them to stuff themselves silly for one low price seems like the worst possible financial decision.

Horrors! Oh, Horrors!
A nightmarish horror hit this morning, I am afraid. The human went out, in the company of a couple of bunnies, for breakfast, and then she popped by the store. And you won't believe what she had with her when she returned! Bunny pajamas! And I'm not talking about pajamas for the rabbits to wear, with a hole in the seat for their cotton tails. These are human sized jammies, with cartoon bunnies all over them! What in the world am I going to do if anyone sees the human in them? They will know she's a bunny supporter, and I will be humiliated! Why, oh why, couldn't she have bought the kitten jammies instead?

Movie Update
That poor, poor movie theater. Really, you would think by now they would know better than to offer all you can eat popcorn deals, though. They are located in the same town as Betsy Bear, after all. Needless to say, that bear took full advantage of the popcorn deal when the human went to the movies today, and managed to completely clear the snack bar out. I do hope that the people who were there for the evening showings didn't want anything to munch on. And, to make matters worse, the human wants to return to watch the movie again, and you know Betsy will go along. That poor, poor theater. They will never be able to feed anyone else popcorn again!

Movie
The human wants to attend a movie tomorrow. At least it isn't a bunny movie. I am trying to console myself with that fact, but despite the fact that it isn't starring a rabbit, my bunny siblings still want to attend with the human. And some of the bears are wanting to go as well. I'm sure the human will agree too. She would probably let my siblings get away with murder if they liked. I do hope that theater is insured. The bunnies are sure to splash carrot soda everywhere, and Betsy Bear will undoubtedly rob the snack bar for everything they have.

The Swiss
Really, the Swiss should be totally ashamed of themselves. Why in the world weren't they making chocolate and producing bird style clocks instead of what they have gotten up to, supplying the bunnies with vegetable seed, seed that I am sure is very aggressive and vicious. Honestly, those seeds even look vicious with little pointy spikes all over them, sure to damage a paw if accidentally stepped upon, and now they mass of Swiss Chard is sprouting in the garden, and sprouting in frightening, alarming, horrifying numbers! The bunnies will probably be able to fill a bed with that alone. Really, the Swiss should be ashamed of themselves, and don't think I won't let the neighbors know which country is to blame if they are attacked by those plants!

Horrible! Awful! Nightmarish!
Oh, you won't believe this! The bunnies have found another place that is giving away FREE seed! I can't believe this. Don't these places know better, and would you believe they don't require proof of lack of floppy ears and a fuzzy cotton tail or anything? I wouldn't be surprised to learn that this business was some sort of subsidiary of the Department of Rabbitculture! Or possibly it's ran by rabbits. Anyway, the bunnies are demanding that I get off-line so they can request their seed right away. Really, they should be ashamed of themselves. What in the world will become of our neighbors if the bunnies get more seed?

Today
The human took a couple of the bunnies to that funeral this evening, to assist in entertaining children. Betsy begged to go as well, since she heard a baby that she was sure would be in possession of candy, would be there, but luckily the human vetoed that. Anyway, the bunnies had a lovely time, watching videos starring our mouse sibling's cousin, and getting hugs. Did you know bunnies love hugging. The oddest thing I've ever heard of. And, to make matters worse, to reward them for their assistance, the human purchased a pack of SEED, table queen squash, as a reward!

You Know
You know, I've been doing a bit of thinking, while awaiting the next horror that the rabbits are planning to inflict. I have a number of polar bear sisters, and they have cub offspring, but there are no boy polar bears in the area. So, where did these cubs come from?

Doomed! Doomed!! DOOMED!!!
Oh, the horrors that I have seen today. A former neighbor died, and the humans had to go to the funeral home, but first they had to stop by the store to get a plant to take. The bunnies offered to hop along, and help with lagging the plant out to the car. I knew I should have been suspicious. Letting them near vegetation is never a good idea, but never did I dream that things would end like this. They got the plant at the local grocery, you see, and the floral section just happens to be right near the seed sale! While the clerk was putting a ribbon on the plant, and sprucing up its pot, the bunnies did a bit of shopping. They had a large sack of seed packets when they hopped home. Here's what they got; another giant pack of beans, a pack of pumpkin, three packs of cucumbers, a pack of watermelon, three packs of cherry tomatoes, four packs of beefsteak tomatoes, a pack of table queen squash, four packs of yellow squash, two packs of zucchini, a pack of cantaloupe and a pack of peppers. We are doomed! And there is still plenty more seed left, so I'm sure they'll go shopping again soon!

POLICE!!
Someone call the authorities! I demand that relation who had the nerve to die be persecuted right away! We are all doomed, and it is all her fault! First, the bunnies went hopping to the store to get goodies to feed the bereaved canines. They found a lovely deal, and lagged it out to the dogs right away. Needless to say, the dogs have decided that the bunnies are their new best friends forever. Unfortunately, though, the dog goodies weren't the only things the bunnies got a deal on. The store was also having a SEED SALE! They came hopping back with a giant pack of bean seed, two packs each of cucumber, beefsteak tomato and table queen squash seed and a pack of California Wonder peppers. And, as if the bunnies' activities weren't bad enough, the human decided the cheer herself over this death by poking at the family tree and she just found a mass of relatives! The horrible, awful tree is growing!

Posting
I'm afraid that my postings might be delayed for a bit, although I will try to keep up. The humans just had a death in the family, though, so they might get the idea to limit my computer time. And the bunnies have the idea, too, that we ought to offer to host the canines of the grieving relations during this time, so I might be facing that as well.

Today
The bunnies stayed in today, something that would normally be considered good, but unfortunately, they stayed in and spent their time checking their seed supplies, to plot what they want to plant next. Our poor, poor neighbors. The bunnies are planning to hop out tomorrow morning, bright and early, to plant more packets of seed. Really, I don't like the look of those plants on the packets at all. More zucchini and cucumbers, and I'm sure they'll throw in about a million watermelon seed too. I'll have nightmares about the vegetables tonight, I am sure of it.

More Planting
More seeds were poked out today, I am very sorry to say. Do you think I ought to go ahead and plan a small going away party for our neighbors? Goodness knows they aren't going to be here too much longer at this rate. The bunnies poked out butternut squash, roma tomatoes, a jumbo pack of zucchini, two packs of cantaloupe, eggplant and Swiss chard. I had always heard the Swiss were cuckoo clock making pacifists, so I'm not sure why in the world they amused themselves selling things to the bunnies, but for some reason they did. I'm sure those plants are vicious. Oh, and to make matters worse, the rabbits gave me the happy news that the pumpkins look like they're getting second leaves, and the watermelon are as well. Doomed. We are all DOOMED!

At Least they Stayed in Today
At least the bunnies stayed in today. That's something to be thankful for. I'm not sure if I like what they've been doing while they've been staying in though. They've got a giant pad of paper, and pencils in vegetable colors, and are drawing garden maps! Do you suppose I ought to alert our neighbors, whose homes are marked down as the future residence of the cucumbers, pumpkins and the vicious watermelon? I'm sure they didn't agree to this plan of the bunnies, to allow the plants to take over their residence!

Help! Police!
Does anyone know the number for the law enforcement division that deals with rabbits? I have to call them right away and file a complaint. The bunnies got on the human's computer today and sent out a message, pretending to be her, trying to find those pallets that are needed to construct their plant beds! What in the world am I going to do? When the rabbits went out this afternoon to raid the pizza place's salad bar, and to eat all of the veggie lovers' pizza on the buffet, they found a good deal on topsoil. All they need is the pallets to get things started!

Today
On the up side, I wasn't captured and drug off to the country today, but with what happened, I almost wish I had been. Really, this day has almost been too horrible to put into words, but I suppose I should try. First the bunnies rode up to the country with the humans this morning, bright and early. Since they didn't try to capture me and stuff me in the car to go and be forced to dust under the beds, I was okay with this. Little did I know that what happened would be worse than being made to dust. First, the humans passed a church having a sale, and the bunnies convinced them to stop since it was a Presbunterian church, the most rabbit friendly religion around. Horrible place that it is, they sold the bunnies more decorations for the booksigning table, decorations shaped like RABBITS! And then, as if bunny decorations weren't bad enough, the human happened by the local homeless shelter too, and who was waiting them but a bear, a pup and a monkey, who all pounced on her and begged to move in. 727 siblings! I thought that was a plane, not a horror. And then when the humans, bunnies and new relations returned, because the monkey needed to do laundry, the bunnies had three pepper plants and a new pack of pepper seed with them! And, to top things off, after they poked out the plants, they came hopping in to give me the happy news that the seed they put out last week are SPROUTING!

As if the Country isn't Bad Enough
As if the plot to drag me to the country isn't bad enough, now the bunnies have worked out what they are sure is the perfect way to open up more garden space, since a plow doesn't seem to be forthcoming to clear it. They're going to get more of those pallets and use them to make flat beds for their plants as well as making the upright beds! Do you know how much more garden space that will give them? They've done the math, and they're sure they can put a good ten pallets along the inside of the fence, in what they call the wasted space next to the pool, and they bet they can get way more than ten pallets in the upper yard. Oh, and they found the landscape fabric they need to construct these beds too, at a very cheap price. Can I sue the Dollar Store for offering the bunnies such a deal? I'm sure they're going to try to drag me out soon, to lag the pallets home so they can start to work on this project!

The Country Fast Approaches
The weekend, and thus the human's plans to visit the country, are fast approaching. Oh, woe is me! What did I do so wrong to deserve capture and vegetable exposure? My one slight hope is that the grandhuman mentioned possibly allowing me to stay at home, but that could end badly too. The last time I was left alone for any length of time, my food dish ended up empty along with both back-ups. At least if that happened, with the bunnies in the country, I wouldn't be facing vegetables, but it would be just my luck that the monkeys would offer to fill my dish with BANANAS! Really, this weekend is shaping up to be a total disaster!

Country Threat Continues
The threat to go to the country is continuing. I heard the bunnies chatting about it a bit ago, and, I am sure issuing seating assignments for the ride up! Horrors! I know they've got me on their seating list somewhere, fastened in a seatbelt between two rabbits! Really, I don't know what in the world I'm going to do. The humans seem all fired determined to spend Mother's Day up there for some reason, which makes me very much afraid that I won't be able to escape the trip. I'll bet the bunnies already have plans to try to use this as part of their plot to convert me to vegetarianism, too!

The Country Again
I heard the human talking a bit ago, and that threat to visit the country this weekend is still in full force. Really, what in the world am I going to do, to try to prevent this? I tried causing a series of disasters around the house, hoping that it would make the humans have to devote all of their time to cleaning, but thus far that's not working. The bunnies just hop behind me, pick things up and glare. They're threatening to get the carrots out now to keep me in line, and to prevent me from ruining their plans for a country visit. What in the world am I going to do? The carrots they have a particularly pointy this time, and are sure to be painful when used as weapons.

Worse than the Country
The human and the bunnies didn't go to the country cottage today, but where they went was so alarming that I almost wish they had visited there instead. The human had to go by the food co-op, that den of rabbit encouragement, and the bunnies hopped along. They returned with a giant sack, full of seed all ready to poke into those pallets, the second they get the beds put together. And there is even worse news. I suggest you send all small children away now before they can be terrified by this. I will wait.
Are they gone? If any children remain, and have nightmares tonight, remember, I warned you. The bunnies talked to someone at the co-op about ordering pumpkin seed. They just have the shelled kind in their bins at the moment, but the bunnies need the kind still in the shell. They've requested a special order. A special order that will likely require them to purchase at least a half pound of seed, if not a full pound. Do you know how many pumpkin seed are in a pound? We will never see our neighbors again! This entire section of the state will become nothing but a giant pumpkin patch! We're DOOMED!

Monday Plans
I just heard something frightening when I was strolling past the human's room. The bunnies were lounging on her bed, and I heard them talking about possibly going to the country cottage tomorrow, to fix things up in anticipation of a weekend visit. They were even talking about dragging me along, and I'm sure they already have a dust cloth with my name on it! I have to find a hiding place right away, although with the number of rabbits in this house, I'm not sure where there might be a place that they wouldn't be able to trap me. And what in the world will I do if they do go to the country this weekend? I'm sure they'll want me to spend the entire time trotting around to visit other rabbits, and probably those squirrels too, and there will be only vegetables to eat!

Continuing Bed Construction Plans
For anyone who likes horror, you can see a demonstration of how to convert pallets into plant beds here. I wouldn't look unless you're in to horror, though, for I can promise you that the thing is truly, truly frightening. The bunnies have been busy all day, trying to work out how many pallets they will need, to cover the fence with plant beds. Oh, this will be a nightmare, I am sure of it! They're planning to poke beans in there, and cucumbers, and pumpkins, and I'm sure the aggressive, expansionistic watermelon plants too. I'm sure I will have nightmares tonight, thinking of it. As soon as they finish with the math, working out the number of flats required, they plan to grab me and drag me off to the store, to start gathering pallets for the assembly line!

Bed Construction Plans
I shall sue the paper. That is what I have to do right away. The bunnies are all fired up about the plan they found in that horrible, awful newspaper, for building plant beds that can be leaned against a fence, or the side of a house. They're sure this will triple or possibly quadruple their plant space, especially if the houses that they lean these beds against happen to belong to our poor, misfortunate neighbors. The bunnies have noticed on their many trips out, that the local paint store has many of the pallets that the plan calls for to assemble these beds, so now they are wanting to go down there, with the wagon, to drag a pile back. And who do you think they have down to help pull this wagon? ME!

Garden
The first plants and seeds went out into the bunnies' garden today. Doomed. We are all doomed! The put out two tomato and pepper plants and then they amused themselves planting packs of sugar pumpkin seed, jalepeno pepper seed, cucumber seed, super marmande tomato seed, rutgers tomato seed, two packs of watermelon seed, table queen squash seed and what is the worst vegetable of all, CARROT seed! And they're just getting started with planting too. I'm sure they're going to want to hop out tomorrow to poke out more packs of seed. Right now they've got them in one bed, waiting until they sprout and get a decent size, and then they'll spread them out. The horrible newspaper has given them ideas, too, for how to construct more beds to house their plants. I see nothing but trouble looming.

Stayed In
Miracle of miracles, the bunnies stayed in today. Of course, that's probably because the human didn't go out, but still, I will take what good news I can get. Goodness knows that the bad news is alarming enough. I've heard much talk about the country of late, and a possible visit to the country, either within the next couple of days, or for the weekend, to celebrate Mother's Day. Went Out Again
The bunnies went out again. Perhaps I ought to go ahead and give up on trying to prevent them from hopping out. At least if they're out riding around with the human, that means that there are fewer rabbits here, to harass me about working, and to dig up the yard for gardening purposes. Hmmmm. Maybe I should be shoving those bunnies out the door! Did you know they were talking about bringing a relative who owns a plow to get their garden dug? Nothing good can result from that. I wonder if I offered them bus fare if they might be interested in a long trip?

Play
Things on the rabbit front have gotten worse. Tonight the human let TWELVE rabbits hop out with her to attend a play! A DOZEN bunnies were allowed out of the house at once! Oh, I tried to stop them, I really did, but with that many bunnies, all hopping around, it was impossible. Every time I caught one by the ears, and tried to drag them away from the door, then two more would pounce on me and free the captive bunny. Finally they ended up tossing a piece of cheese and by the time I had found it, they were in the car. I'm sure that play gave them awful ideas. It featured a giant field of poppy plants. Not good at all. They'll probably want to amuse themselves planting those next!

Bunnies' Continuing Trips
The bunnies are continuing to be allowed to hop along, whenever the human goes out. So unfair, and I'm sure all it will result in is trouble. Today she let them accompany her when she went out to a buffet. I'm sure the pizza place's salad bar didn't survive, and those rabbits certainly didn't bring back the slice of anchovy with extra cheese pizza that I wanted. Honestly, how much longer is the human going to keep taking the bunnies out? They brought her ONE day of good luck! Surely that doesn't merit this many trips!

Plant Sale
The bunnies went to that awful plant sale, and it was even worse than I feared. They came hopping home with a green zebra tomato, the plant they plant to feature on the front cover of their first bunny novel. Needless to say, they were thrilled to find the plant, and are even talking about purchasing a special pot for it to live in! Nothing good is going to come of that, and as if the fact the bunnies want to put this plant on a book cover isn't bad enough, then there's the fact that it's sure to attract zebras. They're probably on their way over, even as we speak. It wouldn't surprise me at all. The plant sale was alarmingly close to the zoo, so the zebras there probably already know of the bunnies' purchase! And what in the world am I to do, when the back yard is full of a zebra herd, I would like to know!

Bunnies Hopping Out
The bunnies got to hop out with the human again this afternoon. Really, this is the third day I think she's let them go out with her. How many more trips is she going to give them, to reward them for the good luck their feet brought her? They've already convinced her to take them to the plant sale tomorrow, although I'm kind of okay with that. I hate to think of what plants they will get their paws on, but at least if they go with the human, they won't expect me to help pull their wagon over there for shopping purposes.

Movie
The bunnies used what I thought was shredded cheese to lure me into the bunny movie this morning. It looked exactly like cheese, but when I got close enough, would you believe that it was carrot slivers? But by the time I realized, it was too late, and the bunnies had me. Really, I have never seen such a frightening movie as their leader's film. I don't know why in the world it isn't rated R or possibly X. Did you know that the rabbits have an entire island that serves as bunny headquarters? It's a frightening place called Easter Island. Oh, I would never want to go there, and I hope none of my readers are ever forced to visit this place either. All of the rabbits, hopping everywhere, and the entire island is probably packed with nothing but vegetables. Who in the world let the bunnies take over an entire island to serve as their kingdom?

Bunny Rewards
As if it isn't bad enough that the bunnies have been promised large amounts of seed, now the human has arranged to host a bunny movie celebration for them. They've got their leader's film, several other frightening bunny flicks, and popcorn all ready for the viewing marathon. And my leash. They have my leash all ready to go, and have already issued my seat assignment, in the second row, between two rabbits, with more bunnies than I want to think of sitting behind me, probably spilling carrot juice upon my ears! Do you know how hard it is to get carrot juice out of fur?

Even Worse
Oh, and as if isn't bad enough that the bunnies are being rewarded for using their feet and bringing the human good luck, in the car on the way home they reminded the human of one of her cousins with connections to the book industry. And that they would bet anything that this relation would just love to help the human get all of her books published! So now the human is planning to contact the relative right away. Oh, I sense disaster. Talking about the books will only lead to publishing books, and talking to a relation will only lead to potential growth of that awful family tree! A double dose of horror!

Good Luck
The human had something that she wanted good luck for this afternoon. As soon as they heard the mention of good luck, the bunnies came hopping in, and let the human know that their feet are just full of good luck, and the more rabbits that accompanied her, the better her luck would be. I was sure the entire thing was a scheme to get to go out, but the human took five rabbits with her, and when she returned, she was crowing about her wonderful luck! So now she has declared it is all due to the bunnies, and that they're her new best friends! I can't believe this! She is planning to buy them lavish gifts of seed as a reward for this good luck! Have you ever heard of something so awful in your life?

Disaster Heading My Way
Disaster is heading my way. Doomed, I am doomed! A horrible neighborhood, right up the street, is having a PLANT sale starting bright and early Saturday morning! They have huge signs up everywhere advertising this, and the bunnies spotted one while on the way to get the human's glasses adjusted yet again. Plants, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are offering seed for sale too. The bunnies are debating now about getting a tent, and going to camp out at the sale site, so they will be the first in line when it opens on Saturday! That will be a disaster for sure! And they're wanting to take the wagon, to better lag their purchases back, and I'm sure they have my name down on a list somewhere, to help pull said wagon. I know they've already got me down for a sleeping bag if they do find a tent!

Nippy
I can't believe this. It's nippy in here, and from what I hear, downright cold outside. The weatherman is to blame for this, I just know that he is. I heard him laughing, up the street in his little weather station just yesterday so I should have known he had something evil planned for us. Anyway, the polar bears aren't taking the nippy weather well at all. I just heard them, talking about catching me and making me move into their den again, for the warmth MY fur would offer THEM! Polar bears snore! If they try to make me share a den with them, I will never get a bit of sleep!

Saturday so Far
I haven't been captured and drug to the country so far, but the bunnies are clustered in the human's room, lounging on the bed with her, so they'll be conveniently located to agree that it would be a wonderful idea to go up there to stay, should the human bring it up. I see nothing but disaster resulting from those bunnies being so close, and probably sleeping with the human. I'm sure they're whispering ideas for stories in her ears, which can only lead to more writing and publishing. Which can only lead to visits to the COUNTRY! I knew they were working to get up there!

Today's Misery
That mulch is still burning. Really, I don't know what in the world those firepeople are doing, allowing such a thing. Do they WANT to see me captured and drug to the country because they have allowed something the human is allergic to to fill the air? What in the world did I ever do to them? The human had an alarming sneezing fit a bit ago, that I'm sure is somehow connected to exposure to that mulch fire. And as soon as she started sneezing, I heard hopping as the rabbits clustered around. Not a good sign. I'm sure they're suggesting a visit to the country, even as we speak. The day just can't get any worse, and I thought it had hit it's high point of awfulness earlier, when the bunnies hopped in from a sale this Presbunterian church was having with a load of rabbit sized hats, and started talking about how they were sure one of the hats would be a perfect fit for ME!

The Country Threat
The human is still sniffing suspiciously, and now the bunnies are talking about how nice a weekend in the country would be. Does anyone have any advice for what I should do if the rabbits pounce with intent to drag me away to a seatbelt for a little ride? Really, I can't imagine anything worse than being trapped up there. I'm sure that my bunny siblings will demand I come calling with them, on the country rabbits, and probably on the squirrels who have moved in as well. And there will be nothing good to eat in either place except vegetables and nuts! And then there are the sleeping arrangements, stuck in the middle of a pile of my siblings, on the top bunk, so they can steal warmth from MY fur! Maybe I ought to start looking for a hiding place. Surely there's somewhere in the house those rabbits wouldn't think of looking for me.

A Sniff
I just heard a sniff from the human's room. I know I did. A sniff is not good! Next will come a sneeze, and then there will be a bunny right there to suggest a trip to the country. One of the rabbits is even loitering on the human's bed to make suggesting fleeing to the country more convenient! Oh, this will be a disaster! As if the country wasn't bad enough, it's nippy too, and I'm sure that will result in those rabbits, and especially the polar bears, wanting to sleep all snuggled up together. And who will they expect to snuggle with them? ME! They will want to get the warmth from my fur, that isn't intended to benefit anyone else, and use it for themselves! Polar bears snore, and I wouldn't be surprised if the bunnies don't do something annoying in their sleep too. I won't get a bit of rest if I have to sleep with them!

More Smoke
That mulch is still burning. Really, what in the world is the fire department doing? It has been three days now. Have the decided to make this mulch their career or something? The human had to venture out today, and she ventured in the direction of the mulch fire too, so now she is coughing, taking sinus medication and worried. I'm sure that next she will start to listen to what the rabbits are saying, about how we should all go to the nice, smoke-free country at once. I spotted one of the bunnies a bit ago, getting my leash, I'm sure in eager anticipation of capturing me and popping me into a seatbelt between two of them for the ride up there. And what in the world am I going to do if they do get me? At the rate those firemen are going, the mulch will never stop burning, and who knows how long I will be trapped in the country?

Smoke
Oh, this is just awful, and why in the world isn't the fire department being punished for not doing their jobs? A giant pile of mulch caught fire yesterday, and it was still burning this afternoon, and smoking up the entire town! My human is allergic to smoke, and ends up coughing, wheezing and miserable every time she is exposed to it. Of course the rabbits know this too, and I just caught the lot of them, clustered in the human's room, telling her we should all flee to the country at once, until the firemen have the air cleared and breathable here. And what in the world am I going to do if the human decides to listen to them? I swear I just heard a cough, and possibly a sneeze as well. Not a good sign. And then she's going to start thinking about the cost of antibiotics should this lead to a sinus infection. Woe, woe, woe is me! She'll listen to those bunnies, I just know it, and the next thing I know, I'll be stuffed in the car between two rabbits, fastened into a seatbelt, and heading for my doom in the country!

Costume
You won't believe this, and if some store sells this outfit to the rabbits, I swear I will see them in a court of law! I found an illustration the bunnies made of how they want to set up the table for book signings, and do you know what was in it? Me, having to drag books from box to table, with a pair of fake rabbit ears in my head, and my nice tail stuffed up inside an imitation cotton tail! They plan to make me look like a bunny! Surely such a costume is illegal. I don't want to think of the tail cramps wearing that cotton tail would lead to.

Sale Today
The human went to that church event today, and just before she strolled out the door, a rabbit hopped into her arms. I spent hours cringing, just knowing that the bunny would return with a flock of new siblings. Luckily she didn't bring a batch back, but when she returned she had a pile of bunny themed merchandise, just perfect for decorating the human's table for book signings! More bunny items, and so reasonably priced too! Every bunny book signing item just makes it more likely that these books are going to happen, and I am going to be drafted into assisting with selling. And how will I explain to other cats why I am working at promoting such works?

Weekend
Oh, this is awful! I heard the humans talking a bit ago about an event this church is holding this weekend where there will be frightening amounts of merchandise, and likely hot dogs on sale. REally, the human just had hot dogs this evening. Does she have to munch another one down so soon? Bet apparently she wants to, because she's planning to go to this. I wonder if I have time to sabotage her clock? Such events seem to attract bears for some reason, bears that the human always invites to move in. The siblings I have here are more than enough! I don't know how I'll watch the lot of them if more move in, and believe me, they need careful observation at all times. I heard a couple of them talking just a bit ago about how nice the lawn looks, just perfect for photos, so I think they're plotting to try to do something about organizing a group photo again. We don't need more bears to make the group larger! There are only so many fur brushes around here, after all. more siblings just means an increased brushing line and longer to get a photo done. And the longer it takes, the more likely it is that I will be spotted, trapped amongst the bears, bunnies and others, waiting to pose!

Tablecloth
The human went out to the store today, in the company of a couple of bears. I knew better than to let the bunnies out, since this is the season of sales on bunny themed merchandise, 50% off or more. I thought allowing a bear out would be safe, though. I should have known better. I guess they had been talking to the rabbits, and had agreed to do them a favor, because they returned with a tablecloth, with bunnies all over it, just perfect for book signing decorating! I can't believe this. Now I'll have to keep an eye on each and every sibling, to make sure more of them don't offer the bunnies assistance in shopping for book signing goodies! I have over 700 siblings! How in the world can I watch the lot of them at once?

Bunny Invitation
I can't believe this. I was just checking a few things online and you won't believe what I found. The bunnies have been prowling around one of the fiction sites the human visits, and have encountered another rabbit, a bunny that apparently spends all of his time dreaming up stories! A writer rabbit! And they have now invited this bunny to hop over here to hang out! Oh, absolutely not! That bunny will be a horrible influence, and I refuse to allow him in here! Does anyone know the best locks to keep rabbits out? And maybe some idea for software to block the bunnies from talking to this rabbit online? All talking to him will do is encourage them with rabbit stories, something they absolutely don't need!

NO! NO! NO!
Oh, this is just getting worse. Not only has the human dreamed up ideas for the covers for the bunny novels, but now she's been thinking and has came up with an idea for those horrible bear mysteries! A cover featuring ME and the bears! She's going to make me appear on a book cover with them! What in the world will I do if other cats see this? Do you suppose I have time to convince every other feline to give up reading?

Easter Once More
Easter was an all around success once more, I am sorry to say. The Easter Bunny tried a catapult this year, to launch baskets to the neighborhood children rather than risk hopping around to deliver the candy himself. Unfortunately, Betsy had a pile of nets. I had wondered what she was going to do with those when she brought them back from the country after the human's last visit. Now I know. The backyard is currently littered with a giant empty basket mountain as a result and the wrappers from chocolate eggs are everywhere. As for my bunny siblings, needless to say, their leader was impressed with their work, and with the bunny book plans. He gave them MONEY this time! Those rabbits have cash in their paws! And you know they aren't going to spend it on anything good, either, but will just use it to purchase seed and vegetable plants!

And More Book Disaster
I blame the Easter Bunny for this. He must have hopped into the human's room and whispered the idea into her ear. It's the only explanation I can think of. Now the human has ideas for the cover designs for the first six rabbit books, something she thinks will be eye-catching and cute! And with a bunny. In her plan each cover will feature at least one rabbit if not more. At least six covers with rabbits. I hate to think of how encouraged my bunny siblings will be by getting such prominence on a book cover. What is next, giving Betsy Bear a cover shot? WAIT! I think that might be next!

Book Disaster
Oh, this is horrible! As if this week hasn't been bad enough, now this happens to totally top things off. The human just sent off one of her books to a potential illustrator to see if it might be something she thinks she could do. An illustrator, almost the last step before publishing, and just a bit away from selling! Selling, which is what those bunnies are planning to force me to assist with! Why did I ever get out of bed this week?

NO!!!!!!
It's up! The entire census is UP! And worse, they already have an index for Nevada and Delaware. Only 48 states and a few assorted territories to go to finish the thing. Four days to upload the thing. Want to bet it will be indexed just as fast? It would probably have been done even faster if the rabbits hadn't be a bit distracted this week, anticipating the arrival of their leader. I can't believe this. Where are the police?! I'm sure this has to be illegal causing such terrible, awful tree growth!
Head Bunny
In all of my alarm over the release of that horrible census, it completely slipped my mind to check the calendar. So needless to say, I was caught off guard when the bunnies pounced on me today, to force me into assisting them with hanging signs welcoming their leader when he comes hopping by this weekend. I can't believe it is time for that bunny to drop by again. My rabbit siblings have a sample of the bunny book all ready to show him, along with the giant sack of popcorn, and their corn maze plans. He is sure to be impressed. Nothing good can come of that rabbit being impressed! Impressing him always seems to lead to abundant rewards for my siblings, and to trouble for me. Perhaps I ought to offer to assist Betsy Bear in putting out the snares to catch the bunny. At least that might delay the horror a bit!

Census Nightmare
I anticipate that the rest of that horrible census will be up this evening. There are only a few states left. Four days. It only took them four days to get this thing up. The Department of Rabbitculture is to blame for this, I just know it! There are probably bunnies from that horrible place swarming all over the archive at this very moment, racing around poking this online! With the number of rabbits in existence, it is the only possible way I can see for this to have been completed so fast. Horrors, horrors, horrors! And with all of those rabbits working, I'm sure they'll have an index done soon. I can just see it now. Hundreds, probably thousands of bunnies typing away to get this online, and to encourage that terrible tree!
Wednesday, April 4, 2012
Police! Police!
Where are the authorities! I demand they do their job and arrest that horrible archive right away for endangering us all! They only have a few states left to go to have the entire awful, evil, tree-encouraging census up! It has been three days and they have the entire thing almost posted! And index is sure to follow! At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't here by the weekend. The archive is down the street from the Department of Rabbitculture, after all. They probably sent down there for some bunnies to handle indexing duties. We're all doomed! The human is happily poking away at Kansas now, and is sure to find more relatives. And what if she finds more relatives and invites them to the family reunion?
Tuesday, April 3, 2012
Today's Census Report
There must be a way to punish that horrible, awful archive for releasing such records. Surely it violates the law the encourage the growth of the human's tree this way. More states including this one became available today, sending the human hurrying to the computer to search for more relations. And more states will surely be up tomorrow. At this rate, can an index be far behind? That tree has already sprouted new branches, and this census has only been out two days. Do you think the archive might have been influenced by the Department of Rabbitculture to do this? I'm sure the rabbits in charge there would think encouraging a monster tree was a wonderful idea!

Cousin Lula
It's starting already! That tree is growing! The human just found Cousin Lula! And even worse, she found a list detailing Cousin Lula's decendents! Horrors, horrors, horrors! That can only lead to obituaries, learning the married names of Cousin Lula's multiple sisters, and the tree shooting up even further! I will see Cousin Lula's family persecuted for this! Just see if I don't! I can already see those tree leaves trembling more, getting ready to GROW!

1940
Where are the authorities when you need them? Wasn't it bad enough when that horrible archive place down the street from the Department of Rabbitculture let the human trot in and gather all of those pension records, guaranteed to help her grow that awful tree? They have topped themselves with the evil they have caused this time. Really they have, and I hope a nut falls off of that tree and bops them in the head! Those awful, awful people. They just amused themselves releasing the 1940 census! The human has already started poking at the thing, looking to add more relations. Luckily only a few states are up at the moment, and there isn't an index but I fear that will change soon. I can see the tree's leaves quivering in anticipation of the coming growth!

Awful
The humans went to country to check out the cottage today, undoubtedly in anticipation of a visit. I knew I saw the bunnies dragging out my leash for a reason. Anyway, you won't believe what is going on up there. A family of squirrels have moved in, I'm sure at the invitations of the rabbits! They are relatives of bunnies' squirrel buddy who lives in our neighbors' tree and who is assisting the rabbits with garden planting this year. These country squirrels have installed a squirrel penthouse, and even have a little mailbox with the name S and B Squirrel up. Squirrel neighbors. Isn't it bad enough that I have to deal with the squirrels here? Must I deal with them when I'm captured and drug to the country too? Ande what if the bunnies convince those squirrels to help them install a SECOND garden up there?
