Presbunterians Again

We hopped to the Presbunterian church sale again today, and once more we're being bombarded with texts.  Really, we only got four more yards of fabric, and backing for a quilt.  What's wrong with that?  And we were going to get something for Brother, but can we help it if the grandhuman vetoed the cat perch?  Are four yards of fabric and backing, plus not picking up a perch enough to justify two hundred texts so far?

Today's Shopping

The local Presbunterian church was having a sale today that we hopped to, and got four yards of fabric at such a wonderful price.  Then we visited another sale, where we found a bit more fabric, featuring our mouse brother's large cousin, and a magazine devoted to items for teddies.  Needless to say, we have been getting texts from Brother all day, with dire threats, and demands we put the magazine down, and drop the new packet of pins we bought too.  Are threats sent over a text in violation of some law?  We feel certain they are.

Josie Rabbit is Happy

Josie Rabbit is especially happy today.  The Presbunterian Church was having their sale and they had the best fabric that combined her two favorite things, vegetables and tea, in little teapots made of veggies printed all over.  We think we got at least two yards of it.  Needless to say, we got a text about that, and texts threatening to sue the church for the high degree of bunny friendliness they showed this year.  The sale was arranged really well, with the area for fabric being right next to the area for plants, so we could shop faster.  Brother is claiming such an arrangement is a crime, but we are sure that he is wrong.  Oh, and the fabric and the plants were right next to the area where various homeless animals were lurking.  He wasn't happy about that either, and about our inviting a new bear to move in, bringing the sibling count to 780.  Such a difficult, difficult cat.  We're surprised he wasn't dropped off here after the number of texts he sent today.  Surely the human who owns the phone he is using would like it back.  There was a football game, though, so perhaps the human couldn't get through traffic to dump Brother.  Maybe he will be dropped off in the morning.  We wouldn't be surprised at the rate he is going.

Today

On the up side, I wasn't captured and drug off to the country today, but with what happened, I almost wish I had been. Really, this day has almost been too horrible to put into words, but I suppose I should try. First the bunnies rode up to the country with the humans this morning, bright and early. Since they didn't try to capture me and stuff me in the car to go and be forced to dust under the beds, I was okay with this. Little did I know that what happened would be worse than being made to dust. First, the humans passed a church having a sale, and the bunnies convinced them to stop since it was a Presbunterian church, the most rabbit friendly religion around. Horrible place that it is, they sold the bunnies more decorations for the booksigning table, decorations shaped like RABBITS! And then, as if bunny decorations weren't bad enough, the human happened by the local homeless shelter too, and who was waiting them but a bear, a pup and a monkey, who all pounced on her and begged to move in. 727 siblings! I thought that was a plane, not a horror. And then when the humans, bunnies and new relations returned, because the monkey needed to do laundry, the bunnies had three pepper plants and a new pack of pepper seed with them! And, to top things off, after they poked out the plants, they came hopping in to give me the happy news that the seed they put out last week are SPROUTING!

Today's Misery

That mulch is still burning. Really, I don't know what in the world those firepeople are doing, allowing such a thing. Do they WANT to see me captured and drug to the country because they have allowed something the human is allergic to to fill the air? What in the world did I ever do to them? The human had an alarming sneezing fit a bit ago, that I'm sure is somehow connected to exposure to that mulch fire. And as soon as she started sneezing, I heard hopping as the rabbits clustered around. Not a good sign. I'm sure they're suggesting a visit to the country, even as we speak. The day just can't get any worse, and I thought it had hit it's high point of awfulness earlier, when the bunnies hopped in from a sale this Presbunterian church was having with a load of rabbit sized hats, and started talking about how they were sure one of the hats would be a perfect fit for ME!

Horrifying Clothes

I just spotted what the human was wearing a bit ago and needless to say, I am horrified. She has on a pair of pajamas that match those sheets the presbunterian church supplied my delinquent bunny siblings a few weeks ago. Horrors, horrors, horrors! I knew about the jammies, of course, but I didn't know how good the match was until the bunnies held the sheets up to the pajamas and started making a fuss about how they matched, and how the human will look so nice sitting on them! And the human was impressed too, patting the cotton-tailed troublemakers on their ears and saying what good bunnies they are. That means she's definitely going to want to use those sheets, which means a visit to the country is definitely in my future! Horrors!

This Week

If anyone asks this week, I am not here. You don't know where I am, but I am definitely not here, and thus can't be blamed for the upcoming disasters. Oh, I can't believe all of this. Nick the Cat must have put in some overtime hours, to produce this much bad luck! First, the presbunterian church down the street is having a sale this weekend. The bunnies are all excited, and are looking for a wagon that they can drag behind them, if they have to hop to that one without the humans. Rabbits hopping to a sale unsupervised. I don't want to think what might happen there. They cause enough problems with the minimal supervision the humans offer. Then the human's church is having a sale at the same time. My computer time has already been cut into, as the human works on advertising it, and you know she's going to insist on attending too, and you know the bunnies will insist on accompanying her! Then, to make the entire matter worse, the human has a visiting, genealogist relative in town that she has plans to get together with. The tree will hit heights I can't imagine by week's end, I just know it! So, if anyone asks, I am not here, and can't be held accountable!

Presbunterians

I always thought this particular denomination was spelled Presbyterian, but now I believe it is in fact presbunterian. Bun as in BUNNY! I have never met a more rabbit friendly religion in my life. I suppose I should have suspected something when the church of that denomination sold the rabbits all of that bedding a bit ago, but now a Presbunterian church up in the country amused themselves selling the rabbits several sacks full of bedding, and pillows to rest their big ears on too! They came hopping home with the sheets, and forced me to sit on them, to see how they went with my fur, before popping them in the washer. I don't know what they were going to do if there was a color clash, although I have a feeling they would be plotting to change my color instead of the sheets! Really, that church should be ashamed of itself! And, as if the bedding wasn't enough, they amused themselves selling a sack of raspberry bushes to the bunnies too! A sack! Do you know how many bushes make up a sack? What in the world were they thinking?
