Update

Sorry for getting behind on posts once more.  As you probably know from all of the kitty shrieks, we have been quite involved in stitching activities.  We had an open house that we attended with a ton of stuff, and then a class.  And then there was the lovely quilt shop hop that called for traveling all over the area visiting quilt shops, learning new things and buying new quilting materials.  If you were at all curious about why Brother spent a week shrieking nonstop, that was it.  We also hopped to the country for a weekend, and took in another sibling, bringing the total sibling count up to 991, which are other things he wasn't pleased with.  And then there was the quilt show yesterday, where we gathered a large selection of new books, more fabric, and the cutest new ruler.  And might have learned of a way to lure more people into our classes.  Anyway, we hope the volume of shrieks didn't hurt anyone's hearing too much.  We do suggest you keep ear plugs handy, though, because the family reunion is scheduled for next week, and we have some quilty activities planned for it, in addition to genealogy activities.  We're expecting the volume of kitty shrieks to be alarmingly high.  Please guard your ears accordingly.

Sorry for the Lack of Posts

We're very sorry for the lack of posts.  Really, we knew it had been awhile, but we didn't know it had been so long.  Our teaching is going well, but you probably already had some idea that it was, based on the volume of kitty shrieks.  We hope no one suffered any hearing damage due to him, especially during the week in which we amused ourselves stitching four quilts as samples for potential classes.  He didn't take it well at all.  But we are starting to chuckle when we hear him shrieking, because our fund for his recapture is growing nicely, and we are sensing that his being drug back where he belongs is nigh.   Hehehehehehehe!  We really can't wait for that.  Oh, besides the stitching, our family continues to grow.  We are now up to 987 teddies, we believe.  Anyway, we're very sorry for not posting sooner, and we will certainly do a better job in the future.

Apologies for the Weekend

We hope Brother didn't ruin your weekend with all of the shrieking.  He was being impossible as is usual for him.  Really, when we finally hunt him down once more and drag him home, we are going to have to keep him in kitty solitary confinement forever as punishment.  Anyway, we spent the weekend in the country, and on the way up there we dropped by a homeless shelter and met the nicest moose, pup and bear who needed a new place to live.  They even helped us find a giant spool of thread, so how could we turn them down after how nice they were to us.  We are now up to 966 siblings.  And we are surprised the cat is not up to a broken phone with all of his texting.

Very, Very Sorry

We're very, very sorry for the noise today, but in our defense, we did warn you to expect loud kitty shrieks.  We visited that sale like we mentioned we were hoping to and found some more fabric and several lovely quilting books.  And even better, or even worse in Brother's opinion, we met some poor, homeless teddies and invited them to move in.  We met the nicest gingerbread girl, monkey, pup and three bears all in need of new homes.  Added to the cutest Pokemon Eevee we rescued a few weeks ago, our sibling count is now up to 963!

Sorry for the Lack of Posts

We're sorry for the lack of posts.  Honestly, we didn't think it had been that long since we had posted, but obviously all of the continuous kitty shrieking had us a bit confused.  He's been totally awful, as I'm sure all of you know.  We went to that giant yard sale, and had a truly wonderful time, finding a giant pile of quilting magazines and patterns.  We just hope no one suffered permenant hearing damage as a result of the ensuing shrieks.  Goodness knows we feared that we would with our lovely big ears.  We spent two days attending an open house at the fabric store as well, encouraging people to sign up for stitching classes.  We kind of went to the open house early too.  Sorry about that.  We do hope you wanted to get up bright and early last weekend.  We got a lovely supply of new fabric at a deep discount while we were at this event and already have it all cut up for some new projects which Brother is as you can imagine ticked about.  Then we went out today and used some fabulous coupons at the fabric store to obtain more fabric, a new cutting mat for our planned class, a pressing mat and a template to make a wedding quilt.  The human has two cousins getting married soon, and we're sure we can put that to good use but Brother wasn't pleased at all.  Oh, and we let three new bears and a new monkey move in, bringing the sibling count to 956.

Sorry for All the Noise

Sorry for all of the noise these last two days.  Yesterday we visited the teddy adoption center and adopted the nicest teddy horse, teddy alien and two bears.  Then on the way home we stopped by the homeless shelter and met the nicest teddy pup who was looking for a new residence.  The sibling count is up to 951.  We're very sorry for the resulting kitty shrieks.  And we're really sorry about the noise today.  The teacher's assistant for that quilting teaching class we are signed up for called, and since the class is going to be somewhat different due to our poor teacher breaking her leg, we will be getting a lovely gift certificate to spend on fabric and other quilting goodies.  We're thrilled with the gift certificate and are so happy the class hasn't been canceled or postponed, but we think you can pretty well guess that Brother feels totally the opposite way.  Anyway, we're so sorry about all of the noise he's been making.  He should be so ashamed!

Sibling Update

Sorry for the continuing shrieks and shouting.  Brother is still pitching a fit about the library allowing a batch of us to set up shop there to promote teddy activities.  He's being absolutely awful about it to say the least.  Such a totally impossible cat.  Anyway, between his rantings about the library, he has also found time to rant about how we have allowed more homeless creatures to move in.  We have taken in nine more homeless animals lately, including a snow teddy, a cheetah, a lamb, a koala, a teddy pup and several bears.  Honestly, what did Brother want us to do?  If we hadn't taken in that snow teddy in weather like we have been having lately, she might have MELTED!  Did he want a poor, innocent snow teddy to MELT?  We are now up to 946 siblings.

Sorry

Sorry for the lack of posting lately. We've been working on quilt stuff and haven't been able to access the blog as often as we would like. We did another shop hop last week, if anyone was wondering about all of the shrieks on Wednesday.  We visited seven different quilt shops in one day and we think you can guess how that cat took it.  We're surprised the phone wasn't damaged from his repeated, harrassing text messages demanding we get out of those shops at once.  We had a lovely time, though, and even found some wonderful bunny themed fabric.  If you wondered what the loud shriek at lunchtime was, it was due to our purchase of that, we are annoyed to say.  We also found a small cutter that we are optimistic about using for our fabric work.  We can't use it for everything we need because of it's small size, but still, it will be nice to have to work on little things, and it was a good deal, so we are very pleased about that.  And of course, the cat wasn't.  Sorry about that shriek.  We haven't taught any stitching classes yet, but hopefully soon.  We're signed up to teach a bunch, and we're working on a plan for stitching demonstrations to hopefully lure people in.  And once more, Brother is threatening to hold a protest should we do this.  We're not sure if he's serious or not.  He didn't show up to protest the last time we were at the store showing off stuff, but it rained, and he has water issues, so that might be why.  We will be sure to be prepared with netting nearby for purchase and tossing over him if he does show up this time.  Anyway, we're very excited about that, and are looking forward to it a lot.  We have an idea for a unique pattern to do that we hope will go over really well, and maybe a little bit of a simpler pattern that people might like too.  It ought to be a lot of fun.  Also, we have taken in six more siblings, including a boy rabbit, bringing the sibling count up to 937.

Sorry for Not Posting

We're very sorry for the lack of posting lately. The internet has been having issues, making it difficult for us to get online. Kitty sabotage is suspected. Anyway, here's an update on us. We are now signed up to teach four stitching classes showing people how to make various quilted items and teddy merchandise. And we are hoping to design more possible classes soon, which will bring in even more money for us. And will sadly result in even more kitty shrieks, we are afraid. We're participating in an event next weekend to hopefully convince lots of people to sign up for our classes, which is going to be a lot of fun. And we're hopeful it might result in that cat's recapture too. He's threatening to organize a protest. And conveniently, we will be in a fabric store with a lovely supply of netting material. As soon as that kitty shows up, we can purchase some and use it to snag him! Hehehehehehehe! We bet that has never occurred to him. And it will serve him right if we net him and he has to spend hours entangled in a net while we sign people up for stitching instruction. Maybe we can even offer classes on net making, if people see how handy nets can be! Also, we have taken in six new siblings, bringing our total to 931. That's about all the things we have to share for now. Hopefully we will have more updates tomorrow!

Apologies for Yesterday's Noise

Sorry for all of the noise yesterday.  A few churches were holding events that we hopped to, and you know how Brother reacted to that.  We kept getting texts with each church we stopped at, demanding to know what we were doing, and it wasn't Sunday, and to get out of that church at once.  He was just awful.  Anyway, we met the nicest bear at one of the churches, and then we met two more bears when we dropped by the local homeless shelter, bringing our sibling count to 925.  Also, we stopped by the fabric store and had a long chat about our hopeful employment there teaching stitching.  We have an appointment to go back this week to take samples of our work for display.  We suggest you keep your ear protection close at hand for the next few days.  You know how Brother will take us doing that.  Anyway, we're very sorry about all of the noise, but we're afraid it won't be quieter any time in the immediate future.

Sorry for the Posting Delay

We're very sorry for the posting delay and for the kitty shrieks as well.  We accompanied the human to a wedding out of town.  It was a lovely affair, and very bunny friendly.  They served carrot cake and everything, which we really appreciated.  Brother didn't feel the same, though, and was texting us the moment he saw us crossing the town line on GPS, demanding to know where we were going and insisting we hop right back home right away.  He's such a pain.  Anyway, we did a little shopping before the wedding, and found the best deal on some fabric for clothing and quilt construction, and of course we were getting texts the entire time demanding that we get out of those stores right this minute, and what were we doing in there for so long anyway, and we better not be making purchases.  You probably don't want to imagine what he was texting us when we stopped at a couple of quilt shops and a fabric store.  We were seriously considering turning the phone off due to his texts, demanding know what in the world we thought we were doing frequenting those businesses and to just get out of there right away, and we better not be in the line to make purchases.  Oh, and we stopped off at a homeless shelter too, which he was not happy about, and met the nicest bear, teddy pup and bunny who were in need of homes, bringing the sibling total to 922, which annoyed Brother as well.  Aside from the kitty fit, we had a lovely time, though, and we're thinking about going back soon.  We especially loved the new quilt shops we got to visit and we're wanting to check them out again as soon as possible.

Extreme Noise

We do hope that everyone listened to us and kept your ear protection on today due to the nightmarish amount of noise.  First, this morning we hopped with the humans to the tire store.  You would think that Brother wouldn't have a problem with that, but no sooner did we hop in the door than we started getting texts demanding to know why we were there and pointing out that the people who worked their sold us a giant bag of fabric at a discount price a couple of weeks ago, and to get out at once.  That was annoying, but even worse happened when the humans were done, and we went to a couple of church events.  Brother was texting us the entire times demanding to know why we were at a church since it wasn't Sunday and we couldn't possibly be there for a sermon, and to leave at once.  Terribly annoying.  The church events were nice, though.  We found some lovely fabric, and some quilt patterns, and met two monkeys in need of a home who we invited to move in, bringing the sibling count to 918.  Then after we were through with visiting the church events, we dropped in to a quilt store and gathered some lovely fat quarters, including one in a bunny print. That drew down a nightmare amount of texts demanding that we exit that store immediately, and that we drop whatever was in our paws.  After that, we dropped in at the fabric store to check on that job, which we are very optimistic about.  It was so annoying, though, because Brother was texting the entire time demanding to know what we were doing staying in the store for so long, and to get out right away, and that we better not be serious about seeking employment.  Such an awful cat.  Then we had to visit another fabric store in search of a foot for our new sewing machine, and we found some lovely patterns for clothing, so he was shrieking about that too.  Really, we are so sorry for all of the noise.  We don't think things will quiet down any time soon, though, so please shield your ears accordingly.

Sorry for the Noise

Sorry about all of the noise today.  Brother has been in rare form.  We hopped out to those church events like we mentioned we were hoping to do, and no sooner did we get in the hall doors than we started getting texts.  Apparently Brother had managed to activate the GPS tracking for our tablet, and was demanding to know why we were at a church as it wasn't Sunday, so we couldn't be there for a sermon, and were we there for some sort of event that might involve homeless teddies, and if so to just hop right out of the building at once.  We went to three church things, and at each one he kept texting us, demanding to know what in the world we were doing at yet another church, and to just get our cotton tails out of the building right away.  Then we hopped into a homeless shelter, and you can imagine how he took our presence in that location.  Finally we hopped to a movie, and turned off the phone, only to be greeted by an inbox full of texts demanding to know why we were in a theater, and how we better not be watching a bunny film, and why in the world do movie companies make such horrifying things anyway?  We have got to figure out how to prevent him from accessing the GPS tracking for our tablet.  Surely there is some way to do that, right, to prevent such annoying harassment?  Other than that, though, we had a nice day.  We met the nicest panda, bear, horse and bunny and invited them to move in, bringing the sibling count up to 916.  We also found a giant pile of quilting magazines for an excellent price.  All in all, it was just a fantastic day.

Scream Update

Sorry about the screams yesterday.  We hopped by the teddy adoption center and took in two new bears and a new Pokemon, bringing the sibling count up to 912.  Brother didn't take it well.  Also, we better warn you now that you should protect your ears now.  Several churches are having events tomorrow that we are hoping to hop to, that might lead to more siblings.  Much kitty ranting is anticipated.  Please guard your ears now while there is still time.

Report

Sorry we haven't posted in a few days.  Just wanted to give you a report of current happenings.  First, Easter went well for a change.  Betsy was unable to escape from the grandhuman's room, so our leader was able to actually deliver his baskets to those they were intended for for a change.  We hope that the shock of actually getting their basket this year wasn't too much for anyone.  Leader was also very impressed with our continuing efforts to find work, which is continuing well.  We dropped in yesterday and talked to the lady in charge of the program again, and got a look at the potential pattern we might be teaching.  It's very nice, and we're really looking forward to teaching it if we're hired for it.  We hope if we are that we will have a chance to assist the students in selecting their fabric as well, instead of their just bringing it in already picked for the class.  That would be so much fun to help with that and show people how to make different colors and textures work together.  Also, we hopped by a nursery yesterday and bought a couple of lovely herbs that we needed, if you were wondering about the kitty shrieking.  And then we visited the homeless shelter and took in a needly panda, bringing our sibling total to 909.  We're thinking of going by the fabric store again tomorrow, so please cover your ears accordingly.  And we might go by the teddy adoption center too, so much kitty shrieking is anticipated.  Brace yourselves.

This Weekend

Sorry for all of the noise this weekend.  We hopped to a quilt show.  Brother didn't take it well at all.  We just hope he doesn't figure out how close we were to purchasing a machine to aid in cutting the pieces for quilts faster.  We would never hear the end of it.  We didn't buy it, but we are still looking so we might need to issue a noise warning here soon.  We also dropped by the teddy adoption center and took in two new bunnies in need of a good home.  Our sibling count is now up to 908.  We're sure you know that we got more siblings, though, with that cat's shrieking about how he was hearing more bunnies hopping into the house than he had heard hop out the front door and what in the world did we do.  Very annoying.  And in an especially annoying happening for the cat, we stopped buy the fabric store and applied for work, hopefully providing sewing instruction to others.  It will be a few weeks until we know for sure if we have the position or not, and what classes we will be teaching.  Paws crossed we get it, because it seems so much fun, and the person we talked to seemed to want to assign us to a mini-quilt session, which we are very experienced in.  Brother didn't take that well either and is ranting about the horrors of a business actually hiring rabbits, and don't they know what could happen if they let us get our little paws on money?  We would suggest you keep ear protection handy for the next few weeks.  You are probably going to need it.

Sibling Update

Sorry about the shrieks today.  We hopped to the teddy adoption center and met three lovely bears, a nice dragon and a cute zebra in need of new homes.  We're now up to 905 siblings.  Really, we are very sorry.  We hope the screams didn't wake anyone, because we did visit the adoption center early to try to avoid crowds.  And then afterwards, we hopped to the fabric department of our favorite store and got a few yards of material for clothing construction.  And had a long chat with someone about stitching.  If you were wondering what the persistent shrieks that went on for what seemed like forever at lunchtime was about, that was it.  We hope it didn't disturb your meals unduly.  Oh, and a warning now, we might hop to the country tomorrow, so please keep your ear protection handy.  We're expecting a horrible amount of shrieks and shouts if we do.

A Little Concerned

We hopped to the teddy adoption center this afternoon and met two of the nicest bears, bringing our sibling total to 900.  We are a little concerned about these bears, though.  They're perfectly lovely, sweet bears, but it didn't occur to us until we got home with them that their fur smells like candy, which is a trait of their breed of bear.  You can probably imagine how Betsy reacted to catching the scent of candy in the house, and now we are very concerned for our two new sisters' safety.  Maybe we need to arrange a bath for them, possibly with some sort of strong scented soap, before Betsy can do something horrible, thinking they have candy hidden somewhere.  Why didn't we think of this when we were at the adoption center?  They have supplies specifically for this type of situation!

So Very Sorry

We're very, very sorry for the noise today.  We hope it didn't alarm anyone too much.  The human was still feeling terrible about how she was treated by her awful sister, so we suggested going out to a few fun places, like the bookstore and the teddy homeless shelters.  We found eight lovely teddies in need of a home and took them in.  It was so annoying.  We stopped at four homeless shelters and every time we stopped, we got bombarded with texts demanding to know where we were, and why was he hearing more paws trotting into the car than he heard getting out of it.  Finally the constant texting ran the battery on the phone down and spared us from additional messages, but still, it was terribly annoying and Brother should be so ashamed of himself.  We took in two pups, a koala, a monkey and four bears, bringing our sibling count to 898.  And we're hoping that the teddy adoption center will agree to do something special for us when we adopt our 900th sibling.  We're planning to get the grandhuman to call and try to set up something with that.  And there goes the phone once more.  We knew we shouldn't have plugged it in to charge!

Very, Very Sorry

We are very sorry for the early wakeup call due to the kitty shrieks this morning.  We hopped out to the teddy adoption center at eight, and Brother didn't take it well.  We have no clue what his problem is.  We took in a reindeer, a wookie, two zebras, two bears and the loveliest teddy kitty.  Really, we took in one of his fellow kitties.  Shouldn't Brother support our taking in his fellow kitties?  Anyway, after visiting the adoption center, we hopped by the teddy homeless shelter as well, and found a teddy pup and two more bears in need of a home.  One of the poor bears is in urgent need of nose surgery so we might have to rush her to the adoption center for work this weekend, and the pup needs stitches as well, so we're very glad we found them when we did.  We are now up to 890 siblings.
