Tomorrow

We wonder how we could find out if the place we suspect Brother of hiding out is open tomorrow?  It would be so nice if it was, and if we could take a ride up to the country to finally recapture that kitten for the New Year.  Really, it isn't fair at all that he's managed to hide out for an entire year now.  Our fur has suffered terribly as a result, and don't think we won't be holding him accountable once he is drug home!

Hunt Postponed

The Brother hunt got postponed again, and after we had out all of the nets suitable for entrapping a kitten, too.  So annoying.  We're thinking we're going to have to risk letting Betsy Bear behind the wheel if we ever want to capture Brother.  The grandhuman just doesn't seem to be working out for transportation.

Brother Hunt

The Brother hunt is hopefully scheduled for tomorrow.  We have been quiet all weekend, and talking of nothing but stitching, so we hope he doesn't suspect a thing.  We even got a new quilt book and flipped through it, oooohhhing over the nicest polar bear patterned quilt.  That netted us an angry text demanding we stop encouraging those bears in their warmth obsession right away.  Really, we can't wait to recapture Brother, and if he thinks he is getting this blog back when he moves back in, he has another thing coming!

Monday Plan

We have high hopes of heading to the country, to check out this kitten, and if it is Brother, to recapture him, on Monday.  The only problem we foresee with this is keeping Brother from getting suspicious and figuring out we might have located him once more before we can get there to grab him.  We don't want another escape.  Maybe we ought to offer to help the human with a few sewing projects.  The sound of stitching would likely distract Brother nicely!

Country Kitty

You won't believe this, but we have just received news that there is a kitty in the country that looks suspiciously like BROTHER!  Do you think he might have decided to hide up there, thinking it was the last place we would suspect him of being?  There's a nice rabbit at the same location as this kitty.  We wonder how we could find her email, to check and see for sure if this kitten is who we suspect it is.

Comic

We got the nicest comic today, when we went to the bookstore with the human.  We were hoping to find a rabbit book, but we stumbled across the comic series featuring Brother's favorite feline instead.  They had a bunch of issues, but we only grabbed the most recent today.  Maybe we'll go back for some more this weekend.  And we will read them and chuckle, knowing how annoyed that Brother would be, by our getting our paws on those comics instead of him!  This issue was really good too, with the kitty actually TALKING!  Even that flying comic dog hasn't managed to become chatty, yet.  Such a shame Brother isn't going to get to see the books, but it's what he deserves for deserting. NO COMICS!

Santa

Has anyone else heard from Santa recently.  We're not sure what happened last night.  We were being good little bunnies, and hopped right to bed after watching a church service on tv, but when we woke this morning, Betsy was on the warpath.  Apparently Santa never showed up last night, and she was unable to rob him.  Do you think the lack of a tree really did lead him to skip us?  Or maybe his sleigh broke down from the weight of the coal he was delivering to Brother.  We can't be held accountable for sleigh repairs caused by that fugitive cat, right?

Monday, December 23, 2013

Farming

We just got some lovely news about some yummy hay that bunnies are fond of.  We're thinking of planting a large patch in the back yard now, and possibly doing away with Brother's catnip patch.  Oh, we can see it now, a big batch of hay, and bunnies hopping in, to party, eat and play with us!  We bet we could make loads and loads of bunny friends with a yummy crop like that.  Does anyone know how long it takes hay to sprout?

Sunday Update

No sign of that rotten cat today but we are still optimistic about his impending recapture.  Hehehehehehehe!  We just learned of a possible way to get FREE teddy siblings, you see, and we're sure Brother won't be pleased at all about that.  We expect him to poke up his pointy ears soon, to try to prevent this, and then we will have him.  Hmmmm.  Maybe we ought to work a bit harder on the free sibling thing, do you think?  It would be so nice to recapture Brother for the holidays.

Brother's Troubles

It's so nice to report on Brother's troubles.  After the problems that cat has caused for us, he deserves every one of them, let us reassure you now.  First, Betsy took what we told her about the lack of a tree leading to Santa not dropping by seriously.  She has now placed a price on Brother's head.  We suspect that some poor bears might be forming a cat hunting squad even as we speak, in the hope that assisting Betsy will convince her to spare their honey supply this year.  And, even better, we got five new siblings today, a bear, a mouse, two penguins and a polar bear, bringing the sibling count up to 798!  And even better, one of the penguins is named PINKY!  When Brother texted, to demand why he was hearing unexpected pawsteps in the house, we gave him the happy news of our new penguin sister, and her takeover of his name.  And how we might be about to give her all of his stuff too.  His bed, his fish, everything.  Wouldn't that serve him right for deserting?

Brother's Doomed

We do hope Brother has enjoyed his freedom, for we have found the perfect way to ensure his recapture.  The human has been depressed over that rat, and hasn't wanted to put the tree up.  So, this afternoon we told Betsy that we believe the lack of a tree will lead Santa to skip our house this year.  We expect it won't be long until she puts things together and realizes the only way to get the tree up, and to ensure Santa arrives promptly for her to rob is to recapture Brother.  That cat is DOOMED!

Human Today

The human is feeling better today.  We can only assume this means that Brother gave in to some cat like instincts and batted the voodoo doll under something where he can't retrieve it without the aid of a broom.  Now if he would just try batting at the cell phone he is using.  Now he's texting to complain about the amount of READING he is hearing!  How does he hear reading, and really, why does he think that it is some disaster he must prevent?

Wednesday, December 18, 2013

Poor Human

The human's bad leg is bothering her again.  The pain hit her suddenly today just as we were planning to visit the fabric store and then go interview a few bunnies to select one to move in.  We're not sure how he could have done it, but we are suspicious that Brother caused this problem.  Do you think he might have got his paws on a voodoo doll?  The human describes the pain as stabbing.  Couldn't a voodoo doll cause that?

Tuesday, December 17, 2013

Continued Texts

Brother continues to text us, demanding to know what these interviews we keep discussing are for.  Now he's threatening to report us for possibly hiring gardening assistants.  We don't know who he thinks he is going report that to, and why he thinks it is a crime anyway.  This could be fun now that we think about it.  Brother is going crazy wondering what we're up to, and honestly, we think it serves him right, after all of the trouble he has caused!

Monday, December 16, 2013

Interviews

We've been getting texts from Brother all day, demanding to know why we keep discussing interviews and setting up appointments for interviews, and what are we doing that we need to interview people?  He's accused us of looking to employ garden help this year to make the thing our biggest yet.  Any idea how long we should let him continue to think that before we give him the news we are interviewing BUNNIES to take his place?

Sunday, December 15, 2013

Hehehehehehehe!

We've been showing the human pictures of cute little bunnies looking for homes, and she's looking very, very tempted by some of the sweet rabbits.  So now we are getting texts from Brother demanding to know why he is hearing the human cooing over something that doesn't sound feline.  How long do you think we should make him wonder before telling him he might be about to be replaced by a nice RABBIT?

Saturday, December 14, 2013

Idea

The perfect idea for recapturing that cat just hit us.  We can turn him in to SANTA!  Santa is sure to know where he is.  He'll be stopping to drop of a truck load of coal for that cat, after all, so he has to know his location.  We can ask Santa to snatch him and drop him off!  With his thick gloves and coat, Brother won't be able to use his claws on Santa, and the sleigh will be rather high up so Brother can't escape!  Perfect!  Santa can capture him, and leave him tied under the tree for us!  Problem solved!

Didn't Catch Him

We didn't catch Brother today.  At first we were glad that those bandages we stocked up on wouldn't be necessary, and we wouldn't need an emergency trip to the teddy adoption center, but then the human started sobbing.  She really, really thought she would find Brother today, and when she didn't, she was just devastated.  She's been sobbing ever since and we don't know what to do.  When we get our paws on that cat for this....  We have a lot of bandages.  Maybe we could use them to tie him up, before he could turn his claws on us.  Hmmmm.  That could work.  And we know there are claw trimmers here.  Tie Brother up, do a bit of trimming and we would have a disarmed kitten.  And see if we ever let him grow his claws back when we get our paws on him!  We are going to be lucky if we don't end up soaking wet from the tears!  He should be ashamed!

Tomorrow's Hunt

We might be going out to hunt Brother tomorrow.  How annoying.  You know he's going to put up a fight if we find him.  He'll probably dig in his claws to try to keep from being drug to the car, and will make a horrible scene.  We fear he might even loose those claws upon us, if we help the human recapture him.  What are we going to do?  We don't want to be clawed and have to make an emergency trip to the teddy adoption center for first aid!

Bunny Plans

Does anyone have any suggestions for how we can best convince the human that a bunny would be the perfect replacement for Brother?  Really, rabbits are entirely superior.  They can use a box just like a cat, but bunnies are so much less messy about it, and since we eat salads, we're so much easier to feed!  A bunny would be the perfect friend, we are sure, but for some reason the human keeps mentioning hunting that cat down.  How can we get her mind of felines and onto nice rabbits?

Tuesday, December 10, 2013

Brother Hunt Scheduled

A Brother hunt is scheduled for Friday, unless we can convince the human that a bunny would make a much better sibling before then.  We've shown her a few bunny pictures, and she's looked a bit tempted by them.  We think we'll up the rabbit picture viewing for the next couple of days, and hopefully we'll be able to guide the human in a bunny direction.  Wouldn't that serve Brother right, if he was replaced by a rabbit?

Monday, December 9, 2013

Tomorrow's Plans

The human is talking about going to hunt down that rat of a brother of ours tomorrow, after her doctor's appointment.  We're just not sure about this, though.  After all of the trouble Brother has caused, and how damp our fur has gotten from the human's tears over that troublesome cat, do we REALLY want to let him move back in?  We think we might need to spend the night showing her pictures of bunnies looking for new lodgings instead.  Another bunny would be so much nicer as a sibling, and we're sure a fellow rabbit would be appreciative of such a nice home and such loving siblings too!

Sunday, December 8, 2013

Rotten, Rotten Brother

Our poor human.  She has had an awful weekend, missing that horrible, terrible cat and sobbing.  We're feeling quite damp and much annoyed.  How can Brother just desert and abandon our poor human like this?  We really ought to turn the law loose on him.  And maybe pull up some pictures of bunnies looking for homes.  Do you think that would cheer the human?

Saturday, December 7, 2013

Oddest Thing

We just read the oddest thing, about an elephant falling down a well.  Really, how big was this well, that it allowed an elephant to tumble to the bottom?  And there were pictures of him, standing up at the bottom, not cramped at all!  Granted, he was a baby elephant, but still, those are still pretty large.  What in the world were the humans who constructed this well thinking digging such a large thing?  Big enough for an elephant.  Well, their neighbors are going to know the first place to look for their children should they go missing now.  And we are sure the elephant's parents are looking for a good lawyer to represent them in their suit against these humans for improper well construction and creating a safety hazard.

More Complaints about the TV Bunny

We're still getting complaints about that nice bunny on the TV show.  How long is Brother going to keep bringing that up?  Now he's complaining about the clothing the bunny is wearing, and demanding to know if this is part of some sort of plot to convince humans that bunnies need little outfits and little shoes and who knows how many little accessories.  He also believes this bunny is somewhere on our family tree.  Hmmmm.  That sounds paranoid to us.  Do you think we could use such paranoid thinking to get Brother locked up?  At least then maybe he wouldn't be able to harass us nearly as much!

Tonight's TV Complaints

We don't know why whichever human is stuck with Brother keeps allowing him access to the television remote.  Can they really enjoy an hour of television accompanied by such loud kitty complaints?  We're sure it takes away from the show tremendously.  We know the texts we keep getting bombarded with are sure hampering our TV viewing.  The nicest bunny was on tonight, and needless to say, Brother sent a pile of texts, complaining about the rabbit, the number of lines he had, and the continuing absence of the show's cat.  Really, the show is based on Alice in Wonderland.  Isn't there a mention of a rabbit hole in the title of that book?  Why is he so shocked to see a bunny on the screen?

Wednesday, December 4, 2013

Wrapping

Today's complaints were about hearing the rustling of wrapping paper being applied to presents.  We don't know why Brother thinks he has some right to complain about that, though, after his horrible desertion and refusal to move back in.  We're starting to get suspicious about the human's cold now, too, and we're wondering if Brother could have arranged to infect her.  We've lined up several nice rabbits for interviews to take Brother's place, but the human can't meet them until she is feeling better.  It would be just like that cat to somehow spread a disease to prevent a nice bunny from getting a home!

Tuesday, December 3, 2013

More Complaints

We're still getting more complaints from Brother.  Now he's demanding to know if we were serious about the human being finished with her shopping list.  Really, he heard ALL of the checking of people being crossed off.  List is done, and before December even started.  We wonder if being so super helpful will get us promoted to Santa's extra nice list this year.  We know Brother is heading for the extra naughty list.  If anyone needs coal, check with him, because he is probably getting a ton this year with how evil he has been.  Now, since we have helped the human finish her list, time to start shopping for the rabbits on our bunny list!  We think we will need to hop to the food co-op soon to start gathering seed to finish that list!

Monday, December 2, 2013

Monday

Sorry we didn't post this weekend.  We were a little distracted, rechecking the human's list, and then she got a cold, a lovely gift from the grandhuman, we are sure.  Anyway, Brother is still texting us non-stop.  Now he's complaining about the amount of books he is hearing us downloading.  He seems to think it will only encourage the human to read, and not supervise us.  Really, for a cat who seems to find the notion of moving back in so terrible, Brother is spending a lot of time focusing on what's going on in this house, don't you think?

Friday, November 29, 2013

It Was Great!

The shopping today was just wonderful, we are happy to say.  We were able to help the human find pretty much everything she wanted, which means we can now focus on filling our little bunny shopping lists.  Needless to say, we have been hearing kitty shrieks all day, demanding to know what we are up to.  You should have seen the texts he sent when we had to make two trips home to drop off packages before hopping out again to shop for more.

Hours Until Shopping

Just a few hours until the shopping starts.  Oh, we're so looking forward to this.  We've been doing stretches and aerobic hopping all morning to prepare ourself for the event.  Now if we could just find a way to block Brother's texts of complaint.  He doesn't live here, he doesn't want to move back in.  He has no right to harass us like this!  We ought to seek a restraining order!

Wednesday, November 27, 2013

Sales Start Soon

The sales are starting soon, and we are busily warming up for them.  We have helped our human get her little list all ready, and we are all ready to hop out tomorrow afternoon to start the gathering.  We figure with our assistance the human can finish twice as fast.  We will hop behind her, and rush purchases to the car so she won't be distracted and hindered with bags.  We just wish we weren't being hindered by Brother.  Even after his latest escape, he is continuing to text us harassing messages, demanding to know why he is hearing so much list checking.  What right does he think he has to object to anything after all he's done, abandoning us and then escaping once more at the last second?!  He is lucky we haven't filed a SUIT!

Weather Report

The terrible, evil weatherman is calling for snow, and we are suspicious he has taken a bribe from Brother.  We were planning on having interviews for our new sibling tomorrow, and now this forecast has disrupted things.  It would be just like Brother to pull something like this, bribing the weatherman.  He doesn't want to move back in, but he doesn't want to let anyone else move in in his place!  Well, we will see about that.  Perhaps some of these potential siblings will agree to do their interview over Skype!

Monday, November 25, 2013

Another Escape

We were all ready to catch Brother.  We had high hopes of having him in custody by tomorrow afternoon, but that RAT managed to escape once more!  Now our poor human is in tears and totally crushed, thanks to him, and we have had it.  We have been nice about Brother's antics, but now we have had it.  The poor human has sobbed all day, and that kitty doesn't feel in the least bit ashamed.  Well, no more nice bunnies.  If Brother wants to desert us and our human, fine.  We hope he is very happy wherever he is, and after how mean he has been, we are glad he isn't here.  We will find another sibling, a nicer sibling to take his place.  We might even send out applications to recruit a new animal tonight, and let us tell you now, a bunny is the frontrunner to move in and be our new sibling.  So Brother can just desert, and do whatever he wants.  We will be arranging his replacement just like that, and we wouldn't be surprised if the replacement has long ears and a fuzzy, cotton tail.  And a sense of appreciation.  We mustn't forget that!

After Thanksgiving Approaches

The After Thanksgiving sales are fast approaching.  We just wish the texts from Brother, complaining about these sales, and threatening us should we attempt to go to them to help the human weren't approaching at the speed of light.  We think he really wants us to be UNHELPFUL!  Have you ever heard of such?  And how is it a problem for him if we offer to carry packages for the human, or to hop up onto high shelves, or to squeeze around other humans to get the goodies our human wants more easily?  We just don't see his problem.

Saturday, November 23, 2013

Saturday Rant

The human found the nicest way to search a wide ranging collection of newspapers, looking for information to grow the family tree today.  And roughly five seconds after this, we were hit with a avalanche of texts from Brother, demanding to know why he heard the family tree growing.  Honestly, he has small, pointed ears, not fine, long bunny ears like us.  Does he really think he could convince us such puny ears could hear a tree growing?  We were not born yesterday!

Friday, November 22, 2013

Shopping Started

We helped the human start her annual holiday shopping today, and what was awaiting us when we got back from the store, but another pile of messages from Brother, demanding to know why he was hearing people being checked off of the list, and were we shopping?  You would think he would be glad we were helping the human.  You would think he would like the notion we were shopping for human goodies, instead of loitering in the fabric aisle, but he has the idea that if we finish the human's list early, it will just give us more time to shop for bunny items.  That cat is so paranoid!

Thursday, November 21, 2013

Texts Tonight

We got more texts tonight, with Brother complaining about that show again, and how he saw a floppy eared rabbit taking up screen time once more, and no sign of the cat.  We tried to point out that the bunny only got a tiny bit of time.  He didn't even have a line in this week's episode, but Brother wouldn't listen.  He seems to think there is some sort of rabbit plot now, although we're not sure what in the world he thinks we are plotting.  We really, really wish that human would take her phone back.  Doesn't she miss talking on it?

Wednesday, November 20, 2013

He Has It

Brother has the phone again.  Maybe the human who is stuck with him doesn't like talking, that's the only reason we can figure for her letting him take over the phone so much.  We got texts complaining about hearing more checking of lists.  We are helping the HUMAN!  Does Brother not want us to help our human out?  She has an awful lot of people on her lists.  Without us, she could be tied up for days with checking!

Tuesday, November 19, 2013

No Call Today

No call from that human today either.  We're getting seriously concerned that Brother has his paws on the phone again.  And he's probably plotting something to seriously annoy us too.  We just know it.  We were thinking of going to the movies today, but we were too afraid that Brother would launch a text attack in the middle of the theater.  We just hope the human gets her hands on her phone agains soon.  Really, isn't she missing being able to talk with people?

Monday, November 18, 2013

Phone and Human

We haven't heard from the human who is stuck with Brother yet today.  Do you think that is a sign that Brother got his paws on the phone again?  We hope the human has jut gotten distracted, and hasn't let the phone fall back into Brother's paws.  We just helped the human earn a lot of book goodies, you see, and we are very afraid of the number of texts Brother has planned for us should he learn of the book help we were.

Sunday, November 17, 2013

An Actual Human

We sent a text today and we got to talk to an actual human for a change.  We can only assume that she found her phone, possibly while Brother was in the litter box.  So nice talking to a human, and not being harassed for a change.  Hopefully we will have Brother's recapture scheduled soon, now that the phone is in human hands!

Saturday, November 16, 2013

Visited the Country

We hopped to the country today to check on the cottage.  It was so nice there, but someone was burning leaves, so we couldn't stay due to the human's smoke allergy.  We did have a chance to drop by the homeless shelter, though, and we met the nicest bunny, bear and horse.  We naturally invited them to move in, bringing the sibling count to 793.  So now the cell phone is buzzing with texts that we are sure are from Brother pitching a fit.  Do you think if we ignore them he might storm over in person to shriek?

Friday, November 15, 2013

This Weekend

We're hoping to go to the mountains, possibly to encounter a cousin and sell him things this weekend.  Our only concern is that kitten.  If he gets any idea we're going up there, he will text and drive us nuts.  We will never be able to enjoy the mountains and the relative and his checkbook for the constant beeping of incoming texts.  Does anyone have any suggestions for how we could sneak out of the house?

Thursday, November 14, 2013

The Approach of After Thanksgiving

The most lovely holiday, the Day after Thanksgiving, is rapidly approaching and we can't wait.  There are some sale papers that you can find online now, so we've been working with the human a bit on her list already.  We just wish Brother would behave himself.  It's so hard to write names and check them twice when we keep getting texts from him every five seconds, demanding to know why he is hearing the sound of checking!  Maybe we ought to switch to an electronic list.  Do you think he would hear checking on that?

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Turkeys

We have found another advantage to Brother's current absence.  The turkeys who rent the pool house to avoid Thanksgiving have been sending in their money to pay for their spaces.  We've got quite a stack of little envelopes stuffed full of cash, and all of the payments aren't in yet, either.  And since Brother isn't here, all of this money will be going to US!  We bet he didn't think of that when he was dodging being recaptured.  Now we have a pile of money!  And we think a seed catalogue might have shown up in the mail.  Perhaps we will put this money to good use planning next year's garden!

Tuesday, November 12, 2013

Brother's Location

Brother texted to complain once more about the sound of organizing, but we were ready for him.  HEHEHEHEEHEHE!  He texted to complain, and we texted right back with the happy news that we now have a SPECIFIC location for him!  That kitten is loitering around a bridal store!  He probably thought we would never think to look for him near fabric, but he was given away.  And he is located on the bus line too, and just a short hop away from the teddy adoption center.  We think we might arrange for reinforcements, and then take a little bus ride to recapture that kitten very, very soon.

Monday, November 11, 2013

Today's Complaints

More complaints from Brother today.  This time he's been texting us, saying he hears organizing going on.  We are not sure what he thinks organizing sounds like, and it's the grandhuman doing the organizing so he should take his complaints up with her, anyway.  Okay, it is our quilt stuff she's organizing, but still, since she is doing the work, all complaints must go through her.

Sunday, November 10, 2013

Brother and Possible Snow

We just realized that the potential winter weather is scheduled for Wednesday, and the human has a doctor's appointment on Tuesday.  That would make it possible for Brother to be recaptured in plenty of time for the polar bears to grab him, and make him move into their den for warmth before the bad weather gets here.  And they have the nicest NET for kitten catching purposes too.  We wonder if Brother has heard about that yet?

Saturday, November 9, 2013

Presbunterians Again

We hopped to the Presbunterian church sale again today, and once more we're being bombarded with texts.  Really, we only got four more yards of fabric, and backing for a quilt.  What's wrong with that?  And we were going to get something for Brother, but can we help it if the grandhuman vetoed the cat perch?  Are four yards of fabric and backing, plus not picking up a perch enough to justify two hundred texts so far?

Friday, November 8, 2013

Today's Shopping

The local Presbunterian church was having a sale today that we hopped to, and got four yards of fabric at such a wonderful price.  Then we visited another sale, where we found a bit more fabric, featuring our mouse brother's large cousin, and a magazine devoted to items for teddies.  Needless to say, we have been getting texts from Brother all day, with dire threats, and demands we put the magazine down, and drop the new packet of pins we bought too.  Are threats sent over a text in violation of some law?  We feel certain they are.

Thursday, November 7, 2013

Weather Report

The weatherman is being his usual, evil self, and amused himself calling for winter weather starting Wednesday.  Needless to say, our polar bear sisters freaked, and are up in arms, demanding the cat be recaptured at once so he can be forced into their den for added warmth.  Brother has apparently heard the weatherman's report too, because he has been texting us, insisting that he can't be forced to move in this cold weather.  Well, we'll just see about that!  He has had plenty of time to get himself back here, and he has delayed and delayed.  He will just have to deal with the cold now!

Wednesday, November 6, 2013

The Car

The grandhuman took the car in today, and after a day of work, they have decided it needs a new gas tank.  We are very suspicious of this.  Either those humans at the last, incompetent repair shop damaged something, which is likely with their high degree of stupidity and evil, or Brother arranged some sabotage, as without a car, his recapture will be highly difficult.  Brother or the evil repairpeople.  We're not sure who is more likely to be guilty.

Tuesday, November 5, 2013

Human's Birthday

It's really too bad cats don't feel guilt, for Brother should certainly be feeling bad today.  Poor human.  First the car acted up today so we didn't get to visit cousins and sell books like we were hoping, and then this evening our poor human got sad and started sobbing over Brother once more.  It's her birthday and she was in tears over that fugitive cat!  We swear, we are going to start working on little chains for his paws for when we recapture him.  Making our poor human cry on her birthday.  He ought to be ASHAMED!

Monday, November 4, 2013

Hehehehehehe!

Hmmm, Brother might be in trouble.  The human just used an old remedy the chiropractor gave her to cure something, and now she is thinking she possibly needs to trot down to see him and get a fresh bottle to treat a few more things.  And if she goes to the doctor, Brother could be easily dropped off and RECAPTURED!  Poor human was feeling sad about not having him here.  Well, maybe we could correct that very very soon, sooner than Brother anticipated our trying!

Sunday, November 3, 2013

Tuesday

The human's birthday is Tuesday, and we're already getting texts from Brother demanding to know what she has planned.  Honestly, he abandoned us!  Why in the world doesn't he get that if he deserts, then he has absolutely no right to object to any of the human's possible birthday plans?  He ought to be ashamed of himself, and there is nothing wrong with the human holding a birthday celebration in an archive, or meeting a few cousins, anyway!

Saturday, November 2, 2013

Siblings, Shopping and the Phone

We have decided that the car must be bugged too.  It is the only explanation for what happened today.  We went out with the human to visit a few churches who were having events, and what do you know but we ran into the nicest cow, and two lovely bears as well.  As soon as they hopped in the car, though, the phone went wild with texts from Brother, demanding to know why he was hearing more people getting into the car than had left it, and had we dared to allow more siblings in.  And then he demanded to know why he was hearing the rustling of packages being stowed, and what had we bought.  We found lovely, lovely clothes, that's what, and Brother has no call to complain about them, or about the new siblings after how he has deserted us.  And really, bugging the car too.  We are sure that is illegal!  Anyway, with the giant polar bear who moved in a few days ago, we are now up to 790 siblings!

Phone

We have tried and tried to get hold of the poor person who is currently living with Brother, but we can't seem to reach her on the phone.  Do you think Brother has HIDDEN the phone away so she can't get our calls and arrange to return him to custody?  We really wouldn't put it past him.  That awful, awful sneak.  Who is he to think he can dodge such nice bunnies indefinitely?  He is going to ruin our human's planned birthday celebration next week if he keeps this hiding up!

Sneaky Brother

We could have recaptured Brother today, but he managed to avoid us.  The human is is currently inflicting himself upon dropped in on the human's doctor, shortly before her appointment.  If we had known, we could have arranged to meet her there to collect that pointy-eared fugitive!  And we would have known, except Brother is tying up her phone so we can't contact her!  And with how attached he seems to be to that phone, we don't think things will change any time soon.  We need an alternate means of communication.  We wonder if she might understand smoke signals?

Bear Books

We got a the nicest announcement in the mail today.  The head bear, the leader of all bears, is having another book published just in time for Christmas.  It looks like the bear company might be getting to look seriously at books, which is giving us high hopes that they will soon look seriously at our human's bear stories.  In bad news, apparently Brother also got this announcement in the mail today, or maybe the humans he is with got it, and he snatched their mail.  We have been getting texts all afternoon demanding we step away from the computer, and we better get thoughts of illustrators out of our little heads.  Well, it is too late!  We have a Halloween story all ready to go, except for the illustrations, and how hard could it be to find someone to do those?  The bear company has done two Christmas books now, so we feel it is high time for them to do a Halloween work.  We might even make plans to hop out to the home of the bears to present it!  And since Brother is small now, he will be so much easier to lag along with us!

Halloween Approaches

Well, Halloween is approaching, and we're thinking we might get Brother dropped off then.  We're planning especially good candy gifts this year, and we're hoping it will attract the children of the human's doctor's daughter.  Packs of cookies, gummy rope, suckers, yummy chocolate bites.  This is going to be our best loot packed sack ever.  The human has a doctor's appointment Halloween morning, and we're thinking we'll have her inform her doctor, so the children will know the BEST house for visiting.  And when they drop by, they might as well drop off Brother.  We're sure their mother needs her cell phone back, and the bill must be nightmarish at this point.  We're even planning to tie up Betsy, to ensure a good night for trick or treaters, so the children will have nothing to fear, and loads of goodies to get.  And perhaps we will get Brother back where he belongs at long last!

Poor Human

The poor human's leg is acting up again, so we will make a short post tonight.  If he wasn't so occupied, sending us massive amounts of texts, demanding to know why he is hearing so much stitching, and digging for notecards for book work, we would suspect Brother of being to blame for the human's suffering.  It would be just like him to get the idea into his little kitty head that if the human is laid low with pain, it might put a crimp in some of our bunny plans.

Bear and Brother Book

Brother is pitching a fit.  He heard on those bugs that he's planted around the house the human talking about how she thinks she has finally got an idea for how to make the books starring the bears and Brother work.  We really, really hope that the poor human stuck with Brother has unlimited texts, because he has hit a new high in messaging, demanding we do something to stop the human right away before she actually does it, and gets one of those books together.  We have absolutely no idea why he thinks we would do something like that.  Josie Rabbit is in the books, along with the bears, and we have to support our fellow bunny, now don't we?  Besides, we don't know what in the world Brother finds wrong with a book featuring him.  You would think he would be pleased.

Ink Replaced

We bought an ink replacement this afternoon, but now we are worried about the safety of the ink.  We don't know how Brother managed to sabotage the last cartridge from his hiding place, so what if he is able to get to this one somehow?  Ink is expensive, and we can't waste any on Brother caused sabotage.  We would set a guard, but the human's offering to show a film in just a bit that all of us want to watch.  What to do, what to do?  Brother should be ashamed of himself for putting us in this position.

Printer Sabotage

We were trying to print out some patterns for quilts this evening, only to find that something was wrong with the printer.  We poked and poked at it, and the only thing we can figure that could be the problem is that it is out of ink.  It had plenty the last time we checked, though, and the only printing done has been for the grandhuman, so we are suspicious of sabotage.  But how could Brother arrange to sabotage the printer from his hiding place?

New Rulers

We got a new set of rulers today, a twelve and a half inch square and a six and a half inch square.  And we got texts right away from Brother too, demanding we cease measuring right away.  We're still not sure how he can hear the sounds of measuring.  We think measuring is a very quiet activity.  As if there was any doubt it was Brother, we saw the human's doctor text his daughter today, and it was the same number Brother is using to text us.  We so hope she has unlimited texts on her phone.  Anyway, she said Brother was wonderful.  Either he has fooled her completely, or she is trying to fool us, to get us to take him off of her hands sooner.  We would put money on the later, if our funds weren't tied up in carrots and fabric at the moment.

Siblings

Well, with all of his ranting, it has taken until now for Brother to finally notice the additional pitterpattering of extra pairs of paws in the house and we must say how glad we are he didn't notice until now.  He complains about things so much already, we didn't want to add the increase in siblings to his list of things to object to.  Anyway, he texted us this afternoon demanding to know why he was hearing more paws in the house.  We tried to reassure him that some of the noise was from teddy dogs who trot about on four feet, and only six new siblings had moved in, including two teddy pups, a koala and three bears, bringing the sibling count to 786, but we don't think he was appeased.  It might have distracted him from the library, though, so perhaps listening to this rant will count as a civil service.

More About the Library

We hopped to the main library today, and they were happy to take our suggestion that they add a nice genealogy magazine to their online offerings.  Needless to say, when we got home, a ton of texts were waiting for us from Brother, demanding to know where we had been, and were we talking to the awful library.  Now he's added the fact that they aren't offering feline magazines to his list of complaints against them.  If they do add that genealogy magazine, we don't want to imagine how much larger his fits will grow.  Maybe we'll try to keep that quiet for the moment.

Library Update

The library is now offering free copies of the Vegetarian Times, a top ten title among bunnies.  We just heard yet another loud kitty shriek.  Do you think if we called the library emergency number they would have time to prevent whatever Brother is plotting?  Really, he's trying to say making such magazines available for rabbit viewing is ILLEGAL!

The Library

We probably should call the library now to warn them they should race to their branches, and lock their book drops now before it is too late.  We're sure Brother has something horrible planned involving sliding down one after what we just found.  The library has started offering magazines for checkout online, and wouldn't you know, one of them is a QUILT magazine!  We had no more than popped it in our online basket to check it out, when the texts started coming in from Brother, demanding to know what we were doing, and insisting we get away from the library website right away.  We think he might be plotting how to punish them even as we type.  So, should we send them a warning?

Texts and Math

We have been almost buried under texts today.  We finally found a quick, simple way to measure and mark curved seams while drawing out a pattern with ruler, compass and protractor.  We had barely even spun the compass a few times before the texts started popping up, with Brother demanding to know what we were up to, and threatening to hold the field of geometry accountable for encouraging us.  Do you think we ought to warn a math teacher to keep an eye out for kittens?  Brother seems rather upset with higher mathematics, although we don't know why.  Bunnies are excellent at math.  He should know this.  Surely he doesn't expect us to no use one of our favorite things!  Off to play with the compass and design a bit more!

Turkeys

We hope that everyone has heard of the lovely new turkey film that will be airing in a few weeks.  Our turkey brother is planning to go, and naturally we want to attend this movie as well.  We're expecting the theater to be packed to the rafters with turkeys, so we're probably going to have to camp out to get a seat.  So many turkeys, and they'll all be looking for a good hiding place for the day of turkey terror that is Thanksgiving.  Brother usually handles renting the pool house to them, but since he's deserted, we believe we will manage it, and we'll hand out little business cards too.  We bet we can get more turkey renters than Brother ever managed and more money!  Hehehehehehehe!  We can almost hear him shrieking now!

Sorry About This Morning

We are very sorry if anyone was bothered by the loud kitty shrieks this morning.  One of the human's cousins called bright and early, and naturally Brother didn't take it well, and started sending text after text about that tree being encouraged and shrieking how we are all doomed.  We can only assume that the human he is currently with has hearing problems, or she would have surely dumped Brother off by afternoon.  We have high hopes that this cousin's call might lead to the selling of genealogy books, hopefully very, very soon!

Poor Human is Still Suffering

The poor human is still suffering.  She limped to the doctor this morning, but we really don't see much improvement.  The doctor's daughter is still observing Brother, though, so perhaps he was distracted by that feline's antics and didn't do his best work today.  Goodness knows the cell bill he is running up would distract anyone.  And now he is hitting us with an avalanche of texts once more, saying he is hearing us typing, and did he just hear us hit post for something, and are we trying to sell online again?  We swear he won't stop until we are poor.

Wednesday, October 16, 2013

Dream

The human is still feeling horrible, but she had the nicest dream, one in which Brother was recaptured at long last.  We do hope that was a sign, and not her medication talking.  We know Brother seems worried.  We keep getting messages saying he knows we are up to something, and when he figures out what, we are in real trouble.  But when we recapture him, we swear that cat will be the one in trouble.

Tuesday, October 15, 2013

Poor Human

Poor human.  Her leg is about to kill her, so we will only make a short post tonight.  She's starting to get groggy from her pain medication, so we need to help her in getting her book certificate points fast before she falls asleep.

Monday, October 14, 2013

Columbus Day

There was a sale in honor of Christopher Columbus today at the fabric store.  Of course we went, and now we're getting text after text from Brother, demanding to know why he hears so much tissue paper rustling, and scissors snipping.  We found two lovely, lovely packets of clothing patterns we had to have, and a packet of patterns showing how to make tow vegetables too.  So now Brother is up in arms, demanding we put down our scissors at once, and leave the patterns be.  Does he want us to be NAKED?

Movies Today

We hopped out to visit a salad bar today, and then went to the movies with the humans.  We had a lovely time, but once more got a ton of complaining texts from Brother.  We thought he would like the movie we went to see.  We really did.  A cat had a prominent roll in it, after all.  What was there for him to object to?  But he managed to complain that this was all a plot to make people believe that cats should work, by showing the feline in question being employed in Smurf chasing.  He is never satisfied!

Kitty Fits

Brother is pitching a fit, and threatening various churches once more with prosecution for encouraging bunnies.  We hopped to a few sales today, and Brother wasn't pleased with what we got.  We got texts as soon as we got in, demanding to know why we were out of the house for so long, and why he was hearing fabric rustling, and pages flipping.  And then he practically blew up the phone with texts saying he had heard cats and quilts mentioned in the same sentence, and had we actually dared to purchase that awful book showing how to make quilts featuring felines that he is sure should be illegal.  The answer is that of course we got it, and we got a WONDERFUL deal on the book too!  Only fifty cents, and it is absolutely not illegal!  Some kitties probably make a nice sum, assisting with this book, and Brother has no right to complain and threaten their livelihood!

Goat

We're wanting to take a goat to lunch.  We have a patch of poison ivy we understand is a goat delicacy and we are eager to invite a goat over to dine on it.  We will even offer up the neighbor's tastiest roses as a desert.  The problem is finding a goat who would like to eat here.  We don't know any goats, or know how to meet one to arrange this lunch date.  Does anyone know if there is a goat friend finder available online or should we just hop to the country and start knocking on barn and stable doors?

New Show

A new television show came on tonight that we were sure Brother would like.  A cat appeared in it, and since he's always complained about a lack of felines on television, we felt sure he would be a fan.  Only, the second the program ended, we got hit with a batch of texts, complaining that the rabbit in it had more screen time than the cat, and he got three times as many lines!  We think he was watching the show with a stopwatch and a calculator!  Can't he just be pleased a feline was on television, and ignore the bunny if it bothers him so much?  It was just the first episode.  We're sure the cat will get loads more time in the future.  He might get entire episodes of screen time.  There is no need for him to pitch such a fit!

Cousin Linda

Does anyone know if we have a moral obligation to track down Cousin Linda's survivors, and warn them they are possibly in danger from a kitten?  The human found Cousin Linda's obituary today, a most thorough one too, and needless to say, we got a barrage of texts about it, and demands that we dispose of the newspaper at once before the human could add the information to her family tree paper.  Like we would do something that mean to our human!  That kitten should be ashamed!  Besides, it isn't like he's living here at the moment, so he has no right to complain about the growth of the family tree.  It's a lovely tree!

Air and Heat

Oh, this is an outrage!  We ought to report this to the head bunny right away!  We're sure he would be happy to egg the dwellings of these horrible, horrible people for this!  The insurance company is refusing to pay to fix our air and heat, and now it is starting to get a bit NIPPY!  Needless to say, our polar bear sisters are panicking, and we are sure the cat will try to use this as an excuse not to move back in.  The insurance people should be ashamed, and we hope they recall the fact that the head bunny knows where they live, and he has influence with Santa too!  For this, we are sure they will go right on the naughty list!

The Bank

Someone, supposedly a human, robbed the local bank today.  There were police and the FBI everywhere, looking for this fugitive.  Very annoying, but we have found a use for this inconvenience.  Brother's bugs detected us talking about the law popping around in search of a fugitive, and he promptly texted us, demanding to know what we had done.  He thinks we have turned the law loose on HIM for his desertion!  So now he's panicked thinking that he is being hunted.  We can only hope this will lead him to returning soon, in order to avoid an arrest.  Hehehehehehehehe!  We ought to send a nice thank you card to that bank robber for the good turn he has done us!

Sunday, October 6, 2013

Thread Box

We found the nicest box to hold all of our cones of thread today.  It's very big, with a little handle on the top for ease of carrying, and we were able to fit over fifty cones in.  It was on sale, too, which was lovely.  Of course, Brother promptly sent a text, saying he could hear us boxing things, and to stop at once.  We don't understand why the human who is stuck with him hasn't dropped him off.  Unless, do you suppose he's hiding the phone bill so the poor human doesn't know what he is up to?

Josie Rabbit is Happy

Josie Rabbit is especially happy today.  The Presbunterian Church was having their sale and they had the best fabric that combined her two favorite things, vegetables and tea, in little teapots made of veggies printed all over.  We think we got at least two yards of it.  Needless to say, we got a text about that, and texts threatening to sue the church for the high degree of bunny friendliness they showed this year.  The sale was arranged really well, with the area for fabric being right next to the area for plants, so we could shop faster.  Brother is claiming such an arrangement is a crime, but we are sure that he is wrong.  Oh, and the fabric and the plants were right next to the area where various homeless animals were lurking.  He wasn't happy about that either, and about our inviting a new bear to move in, bringing the sibling count to 780.  Such a difficult, difficult cat.  We're surprised he wasn't dropped off here after the number of texts he sent today.  Surely the human who owns the phone he is using would like it back.  There was a football game, though, so perhaps the human couldn't get through traffic to dump Brother.  Maybe he will be dropped off in the morning.  We wouldn't be surprised at the rate he is going.

Friday, October 4, 2013

The Country

We're hoping to take a little ride to the country tomorrow.  Who knows, by the time we return, Brother might have been dropped off.  We're certain the human who is stuck with him isn't happy about his antics today.  We found the nicest pattern for a human purse we are sure would sell well, and would be a snap to put together.  You should have seen the texts we got over that.  Really, we don't know what in the world Brother has against our earning money.  If he had his way, we swear we would be impoverished forever.  And then there were the texts when we picked up fabric for quilt sashing and for a purse sample.  We're surprised they didn't try to throw us out of Walmart for the noise from that.  And now he is texting to complain we are helping our human earn more book certificates once more.  We doubt he has put the phone down all day, and surely the human who he is currently dwelling with has about had enough.  We think we'll leave a basket on the doorstep, to make dropping him off easier.  We can put a bell on it, so the bunnies who stay home can drag him inside once he is deposited.

Kitten Shrieks

Brother was especially loud today.  We don't think what we did was wrong, helping the human get that ten dollar book certificate, but you should have heard the kitten shrieks and then the texts started popping up like crazy, demanding we cease and desist all activity at once.  Really, what is wrong with helping our human?  Is Brother afraid that if we're helpful enough that the human might start seeing a few feline flaws?

Insurance Report

The man from the insurance came today to check out the damaged air conditioner.  He took forever, and now our poor human is in agony from sitting for hours in the hard kitchen chairs.  We expect her to retreat to bed soon so this post won't be long.  Hopefully this time we will get something done and the air and heat fixed, so Brother can't use that as one of his many excuses to keep from moving back in.

Tuesday, October 1, 2013

Sorry We Didn't Post

Sorry we didn't post last night.  We were helping the human with getting some books with this points program, and then of course coping with Brother texting and demanding we stop what we were doing at once.  He seems to have some idea that if we encourage the human to read, that we will not be supervised, and will get up to who knows what.  Really, wanting to deny our human books!  That cat is going way too far.

Sunday, September 29, 2013

Nothing

Really, nothing will satisfy that cat.  We have never met a more contrary feline, we really haven't.  First, he complained about us being too quiet yesterday, and now he is complaining about hearing us typing, too fast for us to be researching quilt stuff.  He's demanded to know if we are assisting the human with something, and if so, he wants us to stop at once.  Like we said, he is such a trying kitty.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with our helping our human get good book deals, so he should stop complaining at once!

Saturday, September 28, 2013

Today's Report

We thought today would be quiet on the Brother front.  The humans snoozed most of the day so we didn't get to go out.  We didn't even get to do stitching or cutting.  We were sure that meant no texts, but oh, no.  We have been getting bothered all day by messages from Brother, saying we are too quiet, and what are we up to.  Really, will nothing satisfy that cat?

Grandhuman's Repair

The grandhuman got her hernia fixed today.  Our poor human was forced to sit for five or six hours straight, which is not good with her poor, damaged leg, so tonight's post will be short since she wants to curl up and snooze.  Really, a hernia.  We're sure the cat is to blame.  He was a rather plump feline.  Lagging him about could result in such a thing, couldn't it?

Thursday, September 26, 2013

Woodpecker

We just noticed something.  The new air conditioner, the one in the human's room that makes it the only habitable room in the house, it has only a thin, sliding mesh blocking access to the outside.  It's too high up for us to convert one side to a door for our bunny friends, but we've been thinking of inviting the woodpecker in.  His hole is nice, but don't you think he would like moving in here and being our new sibling so much more?  We have a nice wooden apple basket he could make into his new nest.

Today's Shopping and Sewing

We're surprised that phone Brother is using is still capable of sending texts after the bundle he zapped off today.  First we got a message bright and early this morning, when the repairman showed up to fix the washer.  Brother seemed to have the impression that this repairman was there for something sewing related, and demanded he be evicted at once.  REALLY!  He knows we don't prewash our fabric, so we don't know what he thinks the washer repairman could have been doing for us.  After that batch of texts, we hopped to the store and wouldn't you know it, we found the nicest new ruler.  We don't know how, but that resulted in even more messages saying that he could hear us measuring!  How can you hear measuring?  And then there were the messages objecting to page flipping as we read a new stitching magazine, and we're just bracing ourselves for a ton of messages once Brother learns that we have found a new way to whip through a quilt four times as fast.  That cat needs serious therapy.

Lawyer Again

We might get to visit that nice, nice lawyer again next week in the insurance doesn't cooperate about fixing the air and heat.  Kitten screams have been filling the air over that, and over the six yards of fabric we got today for sashing and borders for quilts.  Anyway, we think if Brother hasn't returned by the time we hop to the lawyer, we will have papers drawn up and served on him, charging him with desertion and demanding his return.  Won't he love that, being hit with a suit?

Monday, September 23, 2013

Shouts

We're surprised the person stuck with Brother hasn't dumped him off on our doorstep yet.  Surely between the cell bill for all of those texts, and then the fit he pitched this morning, when we finished cutting out and bagging pieces for two quilts, and sashing for another quilt, well, surely they are getting plenty annoyed with him.  Maybe we ought to poke out a basket, in case they might like to dump him and run.

Sunday, September 22, 2013

Expected Screams

We're expecting many annoying screams and texts shortly.  Really, we probably should have bought a bag of stuffing when we were at the store earlier for ear protection purposes.  Brother has been up in arms all day.  We hopped to lunch with the human, and naturally Brother had to send multiple texts demanding we return home right away.  We swear, if it was up to him, we would be poked in a burrow and never allowed out.  Anyway, we really did go out to eat, and the salad bar was lovely, but afterwards, the humans went to the store, and, well, we did find a couple of battings we had to have and a bit of fabric.  Was that so wrong?  We're surprised Brother didn't break the phone texting to complain about that, and we're sure he's going to pitch a fit shortly when he hears the snipping of scissors.  That cat needs serious therapy.

Clothing Material

At least the grandhuman talking on the cell phone to various relations is cutting down on the amount of time we are tormented by texts from Brother is all we can say.  That is one plus.  But then he made up for not being able to get through by an enormous text dump complaining that he heard a couple of us hop out despite the rain this morning, and then he heard us hopping in again carrying large sacks, and why was he hearing the sounds of fabric unfolding and then pages flipping?  Well, we got a lovely pile of material to cut up to make little clothes for a start and then two sewing books with lovely quilt ideas.  And for the best price too, two dollars and twenty cents for the lot!  We were very pleased, but now Brother is sending text after text demanding to know what were are up to, and insisting we stop at once because he is sure whatever we are doing, it is annoying and troublesome.  Really, we're halfway tempted to turn the phone off.  Let him not be able to get through to bother us for awhile and see how he takes that.

Friday, September 20, 2013

Hernia

Well, the grandhuman has a hernia.  We're not sure how, but we suspect the cat of somehow being responsible for this.  If would be just like him to try to cause difficulties.  Well, the joke might just be on Brother.  Thanks to this hernia, the grandhuman will be off work for awhile, which will give us time for a nice LONG trip to the country!  And we just might recapture a certain kitten before departing.  So if Brother ends up in the country for an extended vacation, we are sure he will only have himself to blame.

Thursday, September 19, 2013

Forecast

The forecast is still calling for rain.  How annoying, and we are sure all Brother's fault, but we are working on a plan to earn money in spite of him, by trying to find a way to sale our rummage sale items online.  We can just hear the kitty shrieks!    Here's hoping it works, though.  The grandhuman would be really, really happy to move a few things out and, of course, we bunnies would love getting our paws on a bit more money.  We have our eyes on some nice goodies for the country cottage, you see, and need more financing for them.  If we can get something to give the human better internet access up there, we think she might agree to move, so we really need to raise cash.  Oh, there go the shrieks again.

Wednesday, September 18, 2013

Rain

Oh, this is just awful.  We were happily planning our sale for the weekend, and what did we see on the news but RAIN in the forecast!  First it was 40% and now it has crept up to 60%.  We fear it will hit 80 and then 100% soon at the rate it is going.  We can't sale anything in the RAIN!  We wonder if we ought to suspect Brother of arranging a rain dance to prevent our earning money?

Tuesday, September 17, 2013

Lawyer Again

We hopped to the lawyer again today, and you should see the number of texts we have gotten from Brother, demanding to know what we are up to.    Oh, Brother is in for it now!  Things went really well with the lawyer, and we gave the human extra good luck via our big bunny feet, so she's very happy with us now as well.  And our stitching is going very well too.  Good sewing progress, a lawyer on our side and a human as well.  Brother better be shaking in his fur is all we can say.

Today's Harrassment

Well, the car is seeming like it's okay, but Brother is working on some serious harassment once more.  Really, we wish he had never figured out how to text.  We do hope he breaks a claw soon.  That might cut down on the messages.  Anyway, he sent a message a bit ago saying he heard more paws in the house than expected, and had we allowed more siblings in.  What does he expect?  The monkey and the bear were very nice, and it would have been horrible of us to make them remain homeless when we have a cozy spot here.  We're up to 779 siblings.  And then he sent another message wanting to know why we hopped home with that roll of brown paper last night, and why we keep popping out to check the rummage sale stuff we have stashed away, and are we plotting another sale?  Not that we plan to share the news with that cat, but yes we are, and the paper is for duplicating quilt patterns to sale to others, to encourage sewing!  Encouraging sewing and putting money in our little bunny coffers, just a perfect plan, don't you think?  And we would like to remind Brother once more, he DESERTED!  We can do whatever we want, and he has no right to complain after abandoning us the way he did.  Really, if he thinks what we're planning is so wrong, why isn't he hurrying to move back in and stop us?

More Car Sabotage

The humans thought the car was fixed yesterday, only for it to start acting up again this morning, right as we were about to suggest a nice ride in the country.  Needless to say, Brother is suspected.  The repairman was here all afternoon and he said a coil had been damaged.  Who would have thought making Brother assist with inserting all of those coils into books would turn out so badly?  We ought to put him to work, to earn the money to pay for the repairs when we recapture him.

Saturday, September 14, 2013

Won't Believe This

You won't believe this.  We were on our way to the country, the car was packed with stitching materials, and we were all snuggled in the back seat anticipating a wonderful weekend of sewing.  We were on the road and then all of a sudden the car started jerking horribly.  We had to come home and unpack so that the humans could rush the car to the repair shop.  And what did they learn when they got there?  There was WATER in the gas tank!  WATER!  Who wants to bet we will find a watering can with kitten paw prints on it?  This has Brother's paw prints all over it, we are sure!  Ruining our trip to the country, he ought to be ashamed!

Shrieks

We're very sorry about the shrieks this afternoon, and we hope no one was unduly disturbed by them.  Really, when we get Brother back, we think we will have to force him into therapy for these issues he seems to have with our going to various businesses and just looking at things.  We were at the local mission again and what did we spy but this giant cone with what looked like thread on it.  It was gigantic, probably a foot across at the bottom so you can imagine the amount of thread we were picturing, but much to our disappointment it was some sort of yarn, or maybe thread of a type unsuited for sewing.  Just our looking at it was enough to make the cell phone start buzzing, though, with Brother demanding to know what we were doing, and to stop at once.  Really, he has serious issues, is all we can say.  Therapy is definitely in order once we recapture him.

Also Did Yesterday

Yesterday really went well, although Brother certainly doesn't think so.  We also managed to find a lovely deal on a self-cleaning litter box for him.  We just have to get the humans to trot to the store to collect it.  And since this is at the store that is having the backing sale, who could blame us for picking up a few things for ourselves as well?  A large supply of backing, and potential inducement to get that cat back into custody.  What could be better?

New Rulers

We got three lovely rulers, and a template with seam allowances marked today.  We heard much shouting, and threats to see us and the store who dared to sell us such items in court, but we know there is nothing Brother can do.  We have already consulted a lawyer.  We hopped to his office on Friday and were reassured that sewing is not a crime and that desertion of siblings and human is.    Anyway, we have enough measuring instruments now to feel safe from more ruler sabotage, thank goodness.  Now to get some serious stitching done.  We found the nicest sale on backing too so we really need to get to sewing.

Brother Slipped

Brother slipped, and gave away his location.  Hehehehehehehehehe!  We knew he would eventually!  It has been worth putting up with his little spy devices, just knowing what he is hearing us doing would cause him to slip and reveal where he is eventually.  We hopped out this afternoon and rode along with the human to her doctor's appointment, and afterwards we went to the local mission looking for new friends or sewing supplies.  We managed to find FOUR giant spools of thread for attaching quilt tops to batting and backing!  FOUR!  We were celebrating when we got a text from Brother demanding to know what we were up to and did he hear us winding thread onto a spool.  So now we have a phone number for him!  We knew he would give himself away eventually if we were patient bunnies.  Now to figure a way to retrieve him!

Rulers

There is a lovely sale on rulers for quilt construction this week that we hope to take advantage of.  Since Brother tried to sabotage our ruler to prevent work, we think we ought to invest in a backup or several backups to prevent more issues.  We were able to fix the sabotaged ruler so it would measure correctly once more, but we wouldn't put it past Brother to make a second attempt.  Really, why does he want us to be poor bunnies?

The Weekend

We've had a lovely idea for how to make more money.  We're thinking about having a little sale up in the country!  We're sure we would get lots of visitors, and thus make lots of money, because we wouldn't have as much competition.  The country and rabbits earning money, we think you can imagine the level of kitty screams in response to that.  But really, as long as he is absent, what can Brother do to prevent it?

Sale Report

The sale went well today.  We were expecting Brother to show up, to try to yank money out of our paws.  We had the soda all ready to spill to entrap him, but we guess this morning's paper upset him enough to distract him from attacking us.  A bunny made the front page, you see, as a contestant in the local bunny beauty pageant at the fair.  We heard shouts about encouraging rabbits, and a disaster in the making.  Do you think we should warn the fair to beware kitten attacks?

Sale

The forecast calls for loud kitty shrieks tomorrow, so you might want to plug your ears now.  We're having a lovely little yard sale, and Brother is not happy.  The grandhuman wants some stuff cleared out before Brother moves back in, so we plan to move things out tomorrow, and Brother doesn't seem to be taking it well.  Not only will getting rid of things lead to his recapture sooner, but it will put money into our paws, which he seems to think will only lead to a disaster, but oh, well.  We already have the signs, and if Brother pops his pointy ears up to try to hinder us, we have a soda ready for spilling to trap his paws in stickiness.

Hope No One Was Bothered

We hope no one was bothered by the kitten shrieks this afternoon.  Due to the sabotage, and our visit to the quilt shop, we learned about the nicest little pins, and had to hop out again this afternoon to pick up  a box.  Really, the box is so cute, and the pins are so nice, but that didn't stop the shrieks.  Really, though, Brother has no one to blame but himself.  If he hadn't tampered and tried to sabotage our work, we would have never learned of these pins.

Visited the Shop

We hopped to the quilt shop this afternoon, to try to figure out how Brother has sabotaged our little project.  The first and closest shop was closed early when we got there, which makes us highly, highly suspicious.  We had to race to another shop on the other side of town or risk losing another day of work.  Luckily bunnies are fast, but it was annoying to have to go out of our way, none the less.  Anyway, the ladies at the shop are sure that our seams were sabotaged by Brother.  He must have tampered with our ruler, so that when we measured and marked the seams, things were off is all that we can figure.  So, so annoying.  But hopefully we are on our way now.

Job Sabotage

We have been hired to stitch a quilt, and we are suspecting someone, we are sure the cat, of trying to sabotage our efforts.  We don't know what else could be wrong.  It has to be something Brother has done.  We have stitched this pattern for fun before and it went together just fine, but now that we are going to be getting money for it, our seams are off, our corners don't meet, and it is in short a disaster.  The human tried to assist us and ended up in tears of frustration.  What does Brother have against our earning money?

Monday, September 2, 2013

Thread Again

Well, the thread sale ended today, but we still had time to gather another few spools.  We really thought Brother would try to attack us, to snatch our thread away.  We had even made plans for how we could use a spool to trap him if he tried to pounce.  Apparently it must have occurred to him, that coming near us when we were armed with objects that could be used to trap him wasn't a good idea, so we just got tormented with kitty shouts all day.  So annoying, but we're thinking of visiting a quilt shop tomorrow, possibly the one where the nicest pup works.  Perhaps the dog can help lure Brother in and we can trap him then!

House

We happened to hop by the local home improvement store today, and they had the cutest houses available.  Here's one of them.
Two stories, plenty of room for sewing and seed starting purposes!  Just the perfect little dwelling for rabbits.  Wouldn't Brother be annoyed if we got our paws on such a place?

Saturday, August 31, 2013

More Thread

We were hoping to go to the country today, but the human wasn't feeling the hottest so we settled for organizing our sewing supplies and hopping off to the thread sale again.  We got 11 more fat spools of thread and were almost deafened by kitty shrieks.  Really, it is NOT a crime to purchase that much thread!  We're thinking of asking our leopard and tiger siblings to accompany us if we pop over to the sale tomorrow.  Surely the sight of them surrounding us would be some protection against the shouting and kitty threats, and perhaps they would be able to spot Brother and pounce on him so he can be drug home where he belongs.

Friday, August 30, 2013

Lovely Sale

We hopped to the loveliest thread sale this afternoon.  We thought the sound of kitty shrieks would damage our lovely, long, floppy ears, but we managed to hop off with 19 spools of thread.  It really was an excellent sale, so good that the thread was very picked over after the sale had only been running a few hours.  We might have to hop back tomorrow on the off chance they have managed to restock.  The spools are the lovely, giant cones and offer such wonderful value for our bunny stitching needs.

More Pattern Theft

That awful, rotten kitty.  Wasn't it bad enough that he deserted us, and then fled once more after sabotaging the phone so we couldn't recapture him?  He really must be punished severely for his latest crime.  We were poking around, looking for more lawyer gifts, when we noticed a box, hidden under several of the boxes containing the human's Wizard of Oz stuff and an old jewelry box.  We decided to open it, and you won't believe what we found.  PATTERNS!  We made patterns for the construction of quilts featuring various canines long, long ago and tucked them away until we could work out how to use them.  Well, Brother got his paws on them and hid them, along with a ton of our other patterns!  Grand Theft Pattern!  We wonder how many years that could get Brother is we press charges?

Wednesday, August 28, 2013

Call

Brother will be very displeased to know that we talked to a lawyer today.  Hehehehehehehehe!  We will soon see that cat in court, just you wait and see.  We are almost through cutting all of the pieces for the lawyer's quilt, and hope to have it stitched up this weekend.  We are sure he'll be most pleased with it, and will be eager to help us with our little cat problem.  Oh, Brother is going to be so sorry he tried to desert us again, just you wait and see!

The Rat Will Pay

We hope Brother is enjoying his freedom, for when we catch him, he is doomed.  The human spent the day in hysterics over losing him again, and our fur was much endangered from tears.  When we get that cat back in custody, oh, do we have plans for him.  Escaping a second time.  That surely is illegal and as soon as we finish that nice lawyer's quilt, don't think we won't be loosing the law on Brother.  He ought to be ashamed of himself!  Well, he will be very sorry that he is forcing us to resort to the law.  This quilt is coming together very nicely, and we have high hopes the lawyer might be able to sell a few to his little lawyer friends once he sees it.  As soon as Brother is recaptured, we swear he's going on the quilt assembly line, and he better not think he'll be able to claim his little paws are too soft and tender to work a needle!  He should have thought of that before he escaped a second time!

Monday, August 26, 2013

That RAT!

That RAT!  That complete and utter RAT!  It turns out that Brother was deliberately trying to take down our phone!  We should have known he was plotting something, and don't think he won't be punished.  While our phone was down, and we were enjoying the quiet, Brother managed to escape from his current residence, so he is on the loose and must be hunted down once more!  Well, he better enjoy his freedom while it lasts!  We are hard at work, making a quilt for a LAWYER and we will see Brother in court for the trouble he is causing!

Saturday, August 24, 2013

Peace!

Finally, it is peaceful down here, thanks to the constant texts running down the battery on the cell phone.  We bet it never occurred to Brother that eventually the battery would go if he didn't stop sending so many messages.  So now until the human does something about the battery, we are safe from harassing messages!  So nice, and the battery went down just in time to stop Brother from ruining our library visit too!

Friday, August 23, 2013

Phone Bills

When do phone bills usually arrive?  Because we're figuring that Brother will announce his eagerness to return home at right around the time the human who is currently stuck with him gets her phone bill.  We hate to think of how high that thing is.  We hopped out for breakfast this morning, and of course we got harassed with texts demanding to know what we were up to.  We were thinking of hopping to the library tomorrow but we're not sure how to sneak past Brother's bugs.  We're sure the librarians would be very annoyed to have texts constantly coming in in their establishment.  Perhaps we could put little slippers on our paws to muffle to sound of our steps.  That might fool him.

Today's Complaints

Brother continues to send annoying texts.  Today it was first a text demanding to know why a couple of us had hopped out the door and insisting that we return right away, and then there was a complaint that he was hearing page flipping, and had we been to the library.  We're starting to wonder if he has cameras rigged along with those bugs.  Doesn't that violate some sort of law, installing cameras and bugs to harass your innocent siblings?  Anyway, we had been to the library and got three lovely quilt books full of ideas.  We have another batch that is on the way, and that we can hopefully pick up over the weekend, and really, Brother has no right to complain!  We are allowed to read!

Siblings

Brother's back to texting again.  Really, he will have ran up the largest bill by the time he moves back in.  We just hope he doesn't get us stuck paying it.  It's not like we told him to text us every five minutes.  We don't want him to text us every five minutes.  It's annoying to have to answer all of those messages and we certainly shouldn't be forced to pay for being harassed.  Anyway, today we got the most annoying message from Brother saying that he heard little bear paws scampering into the house, and he demanded to know if we had let another sibling in.  Really, what were we supposed to do but let that bear move in here?  He was very helpful when we we searching at the local homeless shelter for possible thread, fabric or quilting books.  And those teddy pups we met in the country were so helpful as well.  We are up to 777 siblings and Brother has no right to complain!

Convinced

We are convinced the human's accident last night was part of a trap.  We checked this morning, and found a block from one of the flowerbeds, what we believe the human stumbled on, had been tampered with and moved.  This tampered with block was very near the entrance to the public rabbit restroom, so we fear that some sort of plot to cause a bunny to suffer a sprained paw is in the works, and we are sure Brother is somehow responsible.  Really, just because we gathered the material for two more quilts, and have been hard at work on assembling them, Brother has no right to plot an all out assault on rabbits!  What if he had got one of our bunny friends who live in the backyard with his little trap?

Monday, August 19, 2013

Short Post Tonight

Just a short post tonight.  Our poor human.  She tripped, or possibly was caught in a Brother designed trap, and as a result has a sprained wrist.  We're going to have to go out there in the morning and look for signs of a trap.

Sunday, August 18, 2013

This Weekend

We hopped to the country this weekend, with plans to snuggle up at the country cottage, and get a lot of stitching done.  The cel reception is bad there, and we were planning a lovely weekend of no harassing texts.  Well, we packed our backing material, batting, quilts, and bags of quilts to be assembled, and everything looked to be going perfectly.  Then when we got up there, we are sure Brother is to blame is all that we can say.  As soon as we figure out how to dust backing fabric, we plan to search it for kitty paw prints.  Our backing material had been shrunk!  Shrunk too small for the quilt we planned to pop on top of it!  We had looked carefully calculated that backing long ago, and we know the only way it could be too small now is if Brother did a bit of tampering.  And then we went to finish up a few squares, so we could put them in line to be stitched into rows, only to find we were missing the floss necessary to stitch them.  We know it was in the bag with the squares, and we're sure a dusting of that bag will show paw prints!  Stolen floss!  Shrunken backing!  Brother should be ashamed!

Patterns

Brother is in so much trouble when we get him back.  After much searching, we finally located a box, stuffed full of our quilt patterns, with suspicious kitty paw prints on the box lid.  We know Brother snatched our patterns, and he hid a giant box of fabric too!  Fabric hiding, pattern hiding, he ought to be ashamed of himself!

Thursday, August 15, 2013

If He Breaks It

If Brother breaks the phone, he is paying for its repair, and we hope he knows how much that cost the last time it developed an issue.  It's been one constant text it feels like today, so bad that we have had to assign a bunny to permanent phone duty so at least some of us could accomplish something.  We drew up two more patterns today, and of course he was sending messages the entire time demanding we put down our pencils, paper, crayons and scissors right away.  Really, why does Brother want us to be poor?

Wednesday, August 14, 2013

Phone Damage

We think the phone might have finally suffered damage from all of the text messages Brother keeps sending.  There was barely a pause today with him complaining that he heard the snipping of paper and then the snipping of fabric, and finally the poking of pins.  How can he hear pin poking?  Anyway, he demanded to know if we were designing something.  Well, the answer to that is YES!  We just designed the cutest bunny pattern, and have the square for the sample all cut out, and ready for stitching.  And more important, we have it almost ready for selling and teaching!  We are going to encourage the construction of bunny merchandise by others!  And this is just our first bunny quilt attempt.  We have loads more ideas, that we just need to sketch out, snip and stitch!  Maybe we ought to turn the phone off before we begin cutting, though.  Would that protect it from damage from constant texting?

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

Brother Update

The human limped to the doctor today, to treat the agony her doctor visit yesterday caused.  Do you think we should be suspicious of some sort of medical conspiracy?  Anyway, the human's doctor mentioned those kittens are getting into everything.  We can only hope his daughter has not checked her cell bill yet, and doesn't know specifics about the everything Brother is getting into.  We must have gotten over 200 texts so far.  Doesn't Brother have better things like packing to do instead of harassing us?  If we could just find those bugs he has hidden around the house.  It is getting most annoying.

Monday, August 12, 2013

Still More Texts

We don't know whose phone Brother is using, but whoever it is, we do hope they have a feature with unlimited texting.  Oh, the number of messages that kept popping up today.  Brother kept complaining about hearing tissue paper rustling, and the sounds of pages being unfolded, and demanded that we get our paws off the pattern packets at once.  It is too LATE!  We have the patterns, we have studied the patterns, and we are ready to cut out and sell from the patterns!  We got four more little pattern packets today, and we found a lovely deal on felt and fabric for constructing merchandise.  So there is nothing Brother can do at this point.  He ought to be focusing on moving back in, instead of sending us so many texts of complaint.  We don't know what his problem is anyway.  Does he want us to be poor bunnies?

Sunday, August 11, 2013

More Texts

We keep getting texts from Brother.  Now he's sending messages, saying he's hearing the snipping of tissue paper, and he is demanding we stop cutting out patterns at once.  Well, it is too late, we hope he knows.  We have already cut out the pattern to make the cutest toy watermelon pattern for humans, and we are already halfway finished with stitching it together!  Really, we don't know why Brother keeps texting, instead of getting busy packing to move back in.  We expect a message at any moment, with complaints about page flipping once more, from our studying an article on how to make money on Ebay.  What does that cat have against hard working bunnies making a nice living?

Saturday, August 10, 2013

Looking for Bugs

No luck finding those bugs brother has spread all over the house to spy upon us.  Apparently, he was really good at hiding them.  He ought to be ashamed of himself.  We think we might have to turn off the phone soon, to block the text messages, or we are never going to accomplish a thing what with having to read his texts every five minutes, saying he hears stitches, and to stop at once.  Really, if Brother keeps this up, well, we might just have to pay a little visit to the fabric store to annoy him.  Anyway, he ought to be busy packing for his return home, not harassing us via a cell phone.

Friday, August 9, 2013

Text Bill

Brother must be running up quite a bill with these text messages he keeps sending us.  We got one a bit ago saying he heard the sewing machine, and demanding to know what we are up to.  Really, we stitch everything by paw!  It was the grandhuman on the machine, not us, and Brother ought to know better.  He's complained that he has heard the scratching of pencils and crayons as well, and has demanded we stop marking fabric and drawing patterns right away.  We are sure he has put listening devices all over the house.  We're surprised he hasn't commented on the heavier hoofsteps of our new horse brother, Clyde, who just moved in today, bringing us up to 774 siblings.  We have got to figure out how to locate those listening devices right away.

Thursday, August 8, 2013

Ideas

We went by the local homeless shelter this afternoon, looking for possible fabric or thread.  The occasionally offer it to support their causes and we were hopeful.  Nothing in that line, but we met the nicest bear, who helped us find a lovely quilting magazine filled with ideas for fast stitching to sell in our little store.  Naturally we invited him to move in, Bringing us up to 773 siblings, including a lovely bear we met at that giant sale last weekend.  Brother isn't happy, and now we are getting text messages, saying he is hearing page flipping, and to stop reading at once.  Does anyone know how to search a house for listening devices?

Wednesday, August 7, 2013

Quilt Update

We are almost finished with another human sized quilt, and we are over halfway through sewing the rows for a third human sized quilt.  Work is progressing very well, although it is annoying when we have to put down our needle because the phone is buzzing with another text message from Brother.  He's apparently given up the hope that we don't know where he is, and is sending us messages, saying he hears stitching and to stop at once every five minutes.  We really think he must have bugged the house before deserting us.

Tuesday, August 6, 2013

Brother!

We have kitten photos!  We have kitten photos and we are sure now that the kitten the human's doctor has under close watch is brother!  He has definitely been caught!  Now it is just a matter of dragging him home to his loving bunny and bear siblings where he belongs.  Oh, happy day, we have found him at last!

Monday, August 5, 2013

No Orders Yet

No sewing orders yet, but we're sure it's only a matter of time until they start rolling in.  While we're waiting, we're thinking of various promotional ideas, and we really think that entering some of our items into the local fairs might be a lovely idea.  If we could get our efforts to win a nice ribbon or two, we are sure it would be wonderful publicity, and would start the orders rushing in.  And by a lovely co-incidence, there is a fair up in the country next week!  The country and a possible ribbon to promote a bunny business venture.  We're sensing a ticked kitten once more!

Sunday, August 4, 2013

Today was Even Better!

Today was even better than yesterday, although the kitty shrieks as a result were even worse.  We made a lovely little shop on Etsy to sell items.  Take a look at http://www.etsy.com/shop/KeithsEmporium to see what we have so far.  We're offering a lovely gown for teddies and bunnies at the moment, and decorative items for humans.  Needless to say, Brother is not happy about our attempt to earn money, even though we tried to tell him the funds are to cover his moving expenses.

Saturday, August 3, 2013

Sale was Great!

The sale was great, and we really hope the kitty shrieks didn't annoy anyone too much.  Oh, Brother is in trouble this time.    The nicest organization devoted to kitties and pups was taking part in the sale this year, and we bought over twenty yards of lovely, lovely fabric from them.  Needless to say, they were very happy with our visit, and quite agreed with us that Brother is a naughty kitten who deserves to be punished for deserting such lovely siblings.  All of the other kitties who were there agreed, and even some dogs who had dropped by to check out the selection of canine clothing.  So lovely to see so many agreeing with us.  Brother is naturally pitching a fit over the fabric, and even is threatening to see the Amish in court after they sold us a yard of thirties reproduction fabric.  Really, what does he expect to claim as damages, their horse and buggy?  He ought to be ashamed of himself, raising such a fuss after we had such a lovely, lovely day.

Friday, August 2, 2013

Print Out

We printed out a photo of one of that large mouse who lives in Florida's bunny friends, and are studying it, trying to figure out how to transfer it onto a quilt.  We're wanting something to enter into that crafts section of the fair next month, and a bunny quilt sounds like it would be different enough to get us a lovely, lovely ribbon.

Thursday, August 1, 2013

Sale Will Soon Be Here

Just one more day and a few hours until we get to head to that lovely, lovely, giant sale!  We're hard at work, packing shopping essentials, and we're very much afraid that Betsy is hard at work packing all of her snitching sacks.  We're trying to ignore her, though, going on the theory that if we don't pay attention to her antics, it might discourage her a bit.  We can only hope so.  We really don't want to face the commotion that bear can cause while we are trying to shop for sewing and seed bargains!

Wednesday, July 31, 2013

Names

We've got to get to work thinking up a nice name for our new future kitten brother or sister.  The human's doctor thinks that all three are boy kitties, but do you think we need to have a girl kitten name picked out as well just in case he might be mistaken?  Maybe we if we give the new kitty the right name, a bunny like name, then it will decide to be our friend and ally against Brother.  Wouldn't that be so nice?

Tuesday, July 30, 2013

List

We think we need to write out a list of things to look for when we go to that giant sale this weekend so we don't get sidetracked and miss needed items.  We do worry that Betsy will get hold of the list, though, will add massive amounts of cookies and honey, and will trick some of the younger bunnies into possibly assisting her with snitching.  We wouldn't put taking advantage of baby bunnies past her.  We have lovely news on our Brother hunt too.  We gave the human's doctor our cell number so he can text us pictures of Brother and the kitties he is living with.  We can't wait to see those and pick out our new sibling!

Monday, July 29, 2013

Sibling Update

We hopped by the homeless shelter today, hoping they might have some fabric available to help support their lovely causes.  No fabric, but the nicest bear who had fallen on hard times did help us find two quilting hoops.  He was so nice, what else could we do but invite him to move in with us?  We're up to 771 siblings!

Sunday, July 28, 2013

Lovely Update

We are almost finished with our second human sized quilt.  We keep hearing kitty screams with every stitch, but really, stuffing a bit of batting in our ears mutes them nicely.  We've had such a nice weekend.  There was a WONDERFUL fabric sale we went to today.  We got the material to construct two more quilts, and then sashing to assemble goodness knows how many more.  We think we got 24 yards all together.  Such a wonderful shopping spree!  We probably should have warned the store to guard their door against kittens, though, now that we think about it.

Saturday, July 27, 2013

Saturday Report

The library amused itself providing us with the nicest books on quilt assembly today, and then we found this lovely, lovely site with so many wonderful patterns for blocks, with little templates we can download and print.  Needless to say, Brother is not happy, and is threatening our internet access.  We made a few adjustments to the internet password, though, so we don't see how we can mess with it.  Brother will just have to learn to live with our patterns is all we can say.

Friday, July 26, 2013

Cat Quilts

Brother is not a happy kitty, but really, does he expect us to cater to him after how he cruelly abandoned us?  He has no right to complain after the trouble he has caused, deserting and making us spend so long hunting him down and making arrangements to drag him back.  We went to a quilt shop today, and found the nicest fabric featuring kitties.  We grabbed four fat quarters, and might hop back for some yardage later.  And then we found the most interesting patterns, of kitties done up in a vegetable look!  Brother dressed as a carrot, we would love to make a quilt like THAT!

Thursday, July 25, 2013

Giant Yard Sale

The giant yard sale that alarmed Brother so is scheduled for next week, and we are so looking forward to it.  There are always lots of nice seed and quilting things available there, and this year the human might arrange for us to meet with a friend of the Grandhuman's to test one of those lovely, lovely cutting machines.  We might even try to get get a hotel so we can stay all NIGHT this year!  Wouldn't that be fun?

Wednesday, July 24, 2013

Human Update

Human's still feeling rather sore and achy, so we might be heading back to the doctor tomorrow or next Tuesday for more work.  Whichever day we go, we're debating if we ought to lag something along for those other two kitties Brother is currently living with.  If we send them presents, then they might end up becoming our friends, and deciding bunnies are wonderful.  It would be so nice to have a kitty ally in the house for a change.

Tuesday, July 23, 2013

Human Report

The human is currently icing her wrist and elbow in an attempt to recover from the troubles inflicted upon her by her vic....  we mean characters.  Really, they have no sense of humor at all.  The doctor adjusted her wrist and elbow, and told her to ice it.  He didn't have any pictures of Brother, but he still has him under close watch, and it is just a matter of time until we have him back in custody once more.  Heheheehehehehehehe!  And then we will show him why he shouldn't have tried to abandon us!

Monday, July 22, 2013

Doctor Tomorrow

The human has to limp to the doctor tomorrow, after injuring a wrist while writing her evil fan fiction.  Really, those characters took her story entirely the wrong way.  How bad could stitches without an anesthetic be?  They didn't have to arrange such pain for our human in retaliation for that.  On the up side, though, hopefully we will get to see a photo of Brother.

Sunday, July 21, 2013

New Pattern

We managed to get the nicest pattern yesterday, after hopping home from that sale, and it was free as well, right there online for our clicking and downloading pleasure.  Brother can't sue the internet for providing it to us, right?  Such a nice pattern, of a kitty that looks just like BROTHER!  We really need to print it out and start sewing on that one right away.

Saturday, July 20, 2013

Patterns

We arrived at that sale bright and early, and were able to get a ton of lovely, lovely patterns.  You should have heard the little kitty shrieks, but thankfully Brother didn't try an actual attack.  That would have been SOOOO embarrassing.  Anyway, we had a lovely time, and when we visited a church for lunch, we met the nicest moose, and invited him to move in, bringing us up to 770 siblings.  Patterns and a new sibling.  Just a a perfect day.

Tomorrow

We saw the nicest sign, advertising a sale where quilt patterns will be given away tomorrow.  Naturally, we are planning to hop to it, first thing in the morning.  We thought about camping out, like some other bunnies are planning to do, in the bushes beside the house that is hosting the sale, but it is only a few blocks away, so we thought we might as well stay here.  We just hope that Brother doesn't try to attack this event.  We wouldn't put it past him to try to prevent our getting our paws on some lovely new patterns.

Must Find a Way

We are still thinking, and trying to find a way to get that wonderful quilt cutting machine.  Oh, how it would help us.  No more worries about squares being too short, now struggles with pins and paper patterns.  Surely there is a way for us to earn the money to purchase it somehow.  We wish that pesky cat would get back here,  We could put him to work to help us raise money!

Look, Look, and ignore the Screams!

We have just found the most wonderful device ever.
It is supposed to enable you to cut quilts with a super degree of accuracy within minutes.  We are dying to get our paws on it.  We're sure if we had it, we could not only do our stuff super fast, but perhaps we could convince humans and other bears and bunnies to pay us to cut fabric for them too.  There has to be a way to get it!  We wish Brother would stop shrieking from his hiding place so we can think of that way!

Doctor Update

The human's doctor still has Brother under observation, we're happy to report.  He's going to bring pictures of the other two kitties he's hanging out with, so we can decide which one we want to move in with us as well when Brother is recaptured.  All and all, it's been a lovely, lovely day.

Human's Doctor

The human is going to the doctor tomorrow, and hopefully he will have an update on that kitten he believes is our naughty, deserting brother.  We wonder if we ought to take a cage along with us, or a leash and strong chains in case he has captured Brother, and is ready to return him to our custody.  Or he might keep him awhile, to make him work off that bill he failed to pay first.

Top's Done

The human sized quilt top is done, except for one little sashing strip at the top and the bottom that we have to mark, pin and sew.  We are so pleased with our effort, and we accomplished it in spite of the continuing kitty shrieks and threats too!  YAY for bunny perseverance!

Today's Update

Today's sewing has gone well.  The library provided us with two more books of ideas and patterns, and we are almost done stitching together a full sized human top.  If we could just get our paws on Brother, to drag him back into custody where he belongs, things would be perfect.  We swear, we are going to put little chains on his paws, to punish him for abandoning us for so long.  He has been gone SIX months!  He ought to be ashamed of himself, for such a horrible act of desertion.
