Rain

Oh, this is just awful.  We were happily planning our sale for the weekend, and what did we see on the news but RAIN in the forecast!  First it was 40% and now it has crept up to 60%.  We fear it will hit 80 and then 100% soon at the rate it is going.  We can't sale anything in the RAIN!  We wonder if we ought to suspect Brother of arranging a rain dance to prevent our earning money?

Today's Harrassment

Well, the car is seeming like it's okay, but Brother is working on some serious harassment once more.  Really, we wish he had never figured out how to text.  We do hope he breaks a claw soon.  That might cut down on the messages.  Anyway, he sent a message a bit ago saying he heard more paws in the house than expected, and had we allowed more siblings in.  What does he expect?  The monkey and the bear were very nice, and it would have been horrible of us to make them remain homeless when we have a cozy spot here.  We're up to 779 siblings.  And then he sent another message wanting to know why we hopped home with that roll of brown paper last night, and why we keep popping out to check the rummage sale stuff we have stashed away, and are we plotting another sale?  Not that we plan to share the news with that cat, but yes we are, and the paper is for duplicating quilt patterns to sale to others, to encourage sewing!  Encouraging sewing and putting money in our little bunny coffers, just a perfect plan, don't you think?  And we would like to remind Brother once more, he DESERTED!  We can do whatever we want, and he has no right to complain after abandoning us the way he did.  Really, if he thinks what we're planning is so wrong, why isn't he hurrying to move back in and stop us?

The Weekend

We've had a lovely idea for how to make more money.  We're thinking about having a little sale up in the country!  We're sure we would get lots of visitors, and thus make lots of money, because we wouldn't have as much competition.  The country and rabbits earning money, we think you can imagine the level of kitty screams in response to that.  But really, as long as he is absent, what can Brother do to prevent it?

Sale Report

The sale went well today.  We were expecting Brother to show up, to try to yank money out of our paws.  We had the soda all ready to spill to entrap him, but we guess this morning's paper upset him enough to distract him from attacking us.  A bunny made the front page, you see, as a contestant in the local bunny beauty pageant at the fair.  We heard shouts about encouraging rabbits, and a disaster in the making.  Do you think we should warn the fair to beware kitten attacks?

Sale

The forecast calls for loud kitty shrieks tomorrow, so you might want to plug your ears now.  We're having a lovely little yard sale, and Brother is not happy.  The grandhuman wants some stuff cleared out before Brother moves back in, so we plan to move things out tomorrow, and Brother doesn't seem to be taking it well.  Not only will getting rid of things lead to his recapture sooner, but it will put money into our paws, which he seems to think will only lead to a disaster, but oh, well.  We already have the signs, and if Brother pops his pointy ears up to try to hinder us, we have a soda ready for spilling to trap his paws in stickiness.

Fabric Sale

We went to visit a yard sale that was advertising fabric and quilt stuff today, and much to the dismay of that deserter cat, we hopped home with two large sacks of material for quilts and clothing.  The prices were very, very reasonable, and we are thrilled with the good deals we got.  We might spend the weekend, happily designing stuff to sew.  We can stuff cotton in our ears to block the kitty shrieks, we are sure.  And we also ran into a two more bears, a pup and the nicest frog while we were out and invited them to move in, bringing the sibling count to 769.

Possible Sale

The humans are possibly going to have another sale this weekend which, of course, will call for rabbit assistance.  Needless to say, we heard a lot of kitty shrieking this afternoon, and threats to pull down any yard sale sign we attempt to hang.  Brother is insisting that our getting our paws on money must be some sort of crime that should be prevented.  Really, we have never heard such a wild claim in our lives. He ought to be ashamed of himself.  We really hope the humans do do a sale.  We had such good fortune with the last one, we're sure another one will be even better!

Sale Report

The sale went well, we are happy to say. Thank goodness many of the shoppers we attracted were a bit older, and didn't have rabbit like hearing, so the kitty shrieks when they picked stuff up didn't bother them. We made a tidy amount of money, and we're already looking forward to the next sale. We think we shall do a craft sale. We've already found several lovely deals on scrapbooking stuff to offer, and then we are going to cut out quilt pattern templates for sale. We can already hear the screaming!

Sale Starts Soon

Our sale starts soon. We're all ready with tons of snacks and drinks. It's going to be SOOOOO much fun! We're very worried about what Brother might be planning to do to disrupt the sale, though. We're sure he's up to something. Those humans were trapping kitties again to be lagged in to get their little wagons fixed, but we didn't see a trap or a captive kitty in sight when we looked. What if Brother has convinced all of the other kitties to attack our sale?

Yard Sale Snacks

We bought packets of cookies to sell at the yard sale today. It was a bit embarrassing, though, all of the noise of a kitty shrieking outside the store. The poor salesgirl had to try twice to ring us up, and she kept looking out the window trying to figure out what was going on. We ought to sue Brother for harassment. You know, there's a good idea! He would have to be served if we sued, and then we could grab him while the server was handing over the paperwork! We don't want to know what that cat has planned for the actual sale day if he's acting up like this now.

Yard Sale

The humans might be having a yard sale this weekend, and if so, we will be running a refreshment booth. We already have some of the drinks we plan to sale. The only worry we have is Brother. What if he shows up and tries to sabotage things for us? We can just see him leaping onto our table and spilling our lemonade pitcher. We think we'll have to sit out some traps, just to be on the safe side.

Yard Sale

The humans are having a yard sale today. First off, I do not see any yard actually being sold, which would be a good thing if it was, since it would limit rabbit growing space. Secondly, didn't the humans learn about the danger of yard sales in the same area as Betsy Bear after what she did at that giant yard sale they went to last month? That bear has been lurking about and raiding the customers' undefended automobiles for snacks! I'm sure some poor cat will be blamed for the missing goodies too. At least I'm safely inside with an alibi.

Yet More Yard Sale Disasters

In another rabbit related yard sale disaster, there were vegetable vendors at this event, and needless to say, these insane people were delighted to serve the rabbits. The bunnies came hopping home with a giant tomato they say is called Brandywine. This horrible fruit must be two pounds if it's anything, and I shudder to imagine the number of seeds that it has in it.

Another Yard Sale Disaster

The bunnies found the seed seller at the giant yard sale today, and she was all too happy to provide them with materials that I'm sure will result in our neighbors' doom. The rabbits came hopping out of her yard with rhubarb, apple gourd, gooseneck gourd and whale gourd! Honestly, none of those gourds will make anywhere near suitable rental property! What in the world were they thinking? My only comfort is that the angel trumpet plant that they bought is non-edible.

Additional Apologies

I also need to apologize to the American Legion and the Senior Center. The humans were rather serious about hunting that lighting fixture and Betsy was seriously unsupervised. Would you believe those seniors actually were brave enough to serve pie, cake, brownies and other goodies? I think you can imagine what happened when Betsy got loose in the senior center. You don't want to know what happened with the American Legion's homemade ice cream.

I Would Like to Apologize

I would like to apologize to those poor Veterans of Foreign Wars. Those poor, poor veterans had booths set up at their meeting hall during the giant yard sale. And Betsy Bear was at this event, unsupervised in the car while the humans were hunting a light fixture, and my human was looking for books. I think you can imagine what happened. Those poor veterans are all considering reenlisting now. Apparently they think that Betsy might not be able to find them if they head off to another foreign war, and thus they might be safe. Can I be blamed for this?

Another Frightening Thought

I just had another alarming thought about this yard sale. The human has obtained gourd seed there before, from the same person who has the quilt patterns, and who knows what other, alarming seed this person might be bringing along to sell? Oh, this is terrible! Can this poor person blame me should they be attacked by quilt seeking polar bears and seed seeking bunnies on the same day? Perhaps I should be sure to hide myself for the weekend to avoid the flack that I'm sure is going to be heading this way soon. I wonder if I have time to make a reservation at jail to insure my alibi?

A Frightening Thought

That giant yard sale the humans are planning to attend, well, I just did some checking, and it seems it runs right by a quilt shop. That doesn't seem like very good news given my polar bear sisters and their obsession with quilting. Do you think I should call these poor quilt shop owners and alert them of their doom approaching on big, polar bear feet? I shudder to think of what the polar bears might do in a quilt shop. And the human said something about how she has found people selling quilt patterns down there before. Really, don't people have any common sense, selling things like that when there might be polar bears in the area?

Giant Yard Sale

A batch of what I can only assume are lunatics are taking part in a 300+ mile long yard sale in a couple of weeks. The humans are planning to attend, and so, unfortunately, is Betsy Bear. I'm afraid that honey vendors tend to frequent these sorts of events and I think everyone here knows what happens when that bear gets near honey vendors. They even had vehicles in bear size last year that Betsy was able to borrow for faster swiping while the humans were checking out a batch of booths, looking for a light globe. You don't even want to know what she did to the poor batch of senior citizens who were daring to sell baked goods. Do you think I ought to send them an email of warning?
