Bees

The news had a report tonight on missing bees and we are concerned.  Betsy rushed to tape the segment on those bees, and we don't like the way she keeps smirking as she replays it.  Why do we think she knows exactly where those poor bees are, and why do we fear it is being held captive to produce honey for her?  We are surprised her picture wasn't shown as a bear seen near the location where the bees were last seen.

Human's Weekend Plans

The human is seriously thinking of going to the movies this weekend, which might mean we will need to make a bus trip to the movie theater right across from the archives.  Do you think we should offer to poke at the family tree while the human is in the movies?  And there go the kitty shrieks again at the notion of us loose near genealogy materials.

Planting Plans

We're thinking about planting a few things to deal with the evil, tree murdering neighbor.  Our first thought is a large patch of stinging nettles.  Wouldn't that be a lovely plant to grow, right around the section of our property where he is thinking about trespassing to move his boat more conveniently?  We wonder if there's a way to order nettles with extra sting?

Awful Neighbor

The humans are thinking of calling the police to file a report on the tree murder now.  We really hope they do.  The horrible, awful neighbor deserves it!  Murdering our poor tree!  We are thinking of somehow finding an even bigger tree to plant now, although our human is sobbing that another tree won't be the same.  We just can't believe the nerve of that awful neighbor.  Who does he think he is, chopping down OUR tree to make it easier to trespass on our property with his boat?

Still Hopping Mad

We are still hopping mad about our poor murdered tree and our evil neighbor.  We are considering options for dealing with him now.  Our current favorite amongst the options is to recruit groundhogs for a little tunneling action.  We could pay them in peas, which are cheap, and we know where to find a batch who are likely in need of work.  We're thinking a few strategically placed tunnels could take out his flowerbeds and undermine his foundation nicely.  We just need to find a book on seige warfare to learn the best tunnel placement routes now.

Vandalism

The humans decided it was too cold to stay in the county, but we took the wood up anyway, in the hope that it might get warmer so we could put it up.  You won't believe what we found when we got there, though.  Some evil human had CHOPPED a tree the humans had raised from a sapling down, and had mangled another tree!  So even if it had been warm enough to stay, the humans would have had to rush home anyway, for supplies to repair the poor injured tree.  What sort of evil person would just chop down a tree that was not theirs?  Our human is still debating filing a police report.

Got the Wood

We got the needed wood and we got such a lovely deal on it too.  We heard several annoying kitty shrieks as we were making our purchases and we fear Brother might be plotting some way to punish the lumber store for giving us such a deal.  Do you think we should warn them about the potential danger?

Tomorrow we Hope

Tomorrow we hope we will head off to the country.  The humans have a lot of work to do, and they will never accomplish anything if they leave Saturday, so we are highly hopeful of a departure tomorrow, and two lovely days in the country!

Wednesday, October 22, 2014

Wood was priced today.  Now we just have to go and pick it up and we will be ready for our country trip.  And even better, we are almost finished with a new shirt with lovely striped trim, and we just cut out the pattern for a dress!

Maybe Wood Shopping

There is a rumor we might go to the country this weekend, which will mean we will need to go wood shopping tomorrow to be ready.  Paws crossed that it happens.  We really want a nice country trip, and we have figured out how to make television work there now, so we can stitch and watch our favorite shows too!

We got to Shop

We got to go trim shopping this afternoon, and what a haul we got!  Over 56 yards of lovely trim, at ten cents a yard, and then some lovely discounted furry fringe too!  We're so pleased, and are now plotting what we wish to stitch using this material.

Not Today Either

We didn't get to go shopping today either, due to a problem with the bus company's site refusing to load so we didn't know when to catch the bus to go trim hunting.  But we are very hopeful about tomorrow, since the human has a torture appointment in the direction of the store we want to visit.

No Trim Hunting Today

We didn't go trim hunting today, because the human thought it looked like rain.  She says maybe tomorrow.  We hope so.  We really need more nice trim.  On the up side, though, we're thinking about teaching a teddy sewing class, if we just knew how to get started.

Not Today

No wood today either, and now the human is sniffling again over that evil show of hers.  We expect to be very damp soon.  Maybe we will talk to the human about taking the bus somewhere tomorrow, hopefully to a store that stocks trim for teddy clothing, and on sale trim too.  Maybe that would cheer her?

No Wood Yet

We don't have wood to lag to the country yet.  Maybe we'll purchase it in the morning?  We really, really want to get up there and we can't go until we get the wood.  On the up side, though, we did get another bag of candy to feed those trick-or-treaters this afternoon, and we have started assembling the little sacks we plan to hand out, so we now know what other stuff to get to stuff them properly.

Today's Report

No wood shopping today, but the human is going nuts after two days of being in the house due to rain, so we are highly hopeful of getting out for wood shopping tomorrow.  Or getting out for something tomorrow.  The human does not do good trapped in the house, so we have to get out tomorrow for sure.

Country Plans

The humans are hoping to visit the country later on this week for work purposes, and we are hoping to go to gather more stitching materials.  We think we heard our human saying something about going to look for wood tomorrow.  Do you think we should offer to go and help with this wood selection?  The sooner they obtain wood, the soon we can get back to the country!

Stitching Plans

We've got an idea for how to stitch some lovely sleeves, and we were so eager to get started.  But no more did we reach for our scissors than we realized we don't have any stuffing material we could use to make the sleeves properly puffy.  How annoying!  We have tons of batting, but it won't work right for stuffing purposes.  We will just have to hop to the store tomorrow in search of the proper stuffing.  So annoyed not to be able to work tonight, though.

Material for Clothing

We got a bunch of shirts in human sizes to cut up, and convert to teddy sized clothing this afternoon.  It was a huge box full that we gathered, so we are sure that we will be able to make a ton of lovely things for ourselves and all of our friends.  Happy day!

Comic Show

The comic show was lovely, although we are disappointed we didn't see more of our fellow teddies there.  We were really hopping to meet other animals to discuss clothes, so that was annoying.  But on the up side there was a teddy sized HUMAN there signing autographs, so we were very impressed with that.  And then we dropped by a church for hot dogs afterwards and met a new bunny and a new bear who needed homes.  We now have 820 siblings!

Tomorrow

All ready to read off to that comic and toy show tomorrow.  We hope we meet a lot of nice people there and find people who might like us to do stitching for them.  And the human was saying maybe we could go to the country afterwards.  Now wouldn't that be so much fun?

Comic Show

That comic and toy show starts tomorrow, and we are really hoping to go.  Only now the poor human has injured her hand on top of her allergy issues.  Here's hoping it is better by tomorrow, or we'll have a major problem.

Today's Country Visit

The humans visited the country cottage this morning, which was good, but then something messed up the human's sinuses so now she is sneezing and in need of anti-histamines.  Not good.  What if this interferes with our hopes of going to that comic and toy show to show off?

Possible Weekend Plans

There is a comic book and toy show the human is thinking of going to this weekend, and she is wanting to take some of us, to show off our nice outfits and hopefully to get orders for clothing for other nice animals.  We wonder how loudly Brother will be shrieking should he hear about this?  But it does sound like a lot of fun and the human is talking about getting a cute little cart for us to ride about it.

Need Ideas

Okay, the human is not planning to watch that evil program tomorrow, and she's planning to help us with stitching instead, so we need ideas for outfits to make.  Poor human is so, so sad, and we want a special project to try to comfort her.

Christmas Shopping

We started our Christmas shopping today, and are so pleased to say that we have over 20 gifts already purchased.  We're thinking of dragging down paper to wrap them tomorrow.  Or maybe we will let the human try wrapping.  She amused herself repeatedly sticking her fingers with needles, and said it was so much less painful than this TV show she has been watching, so she needs a restful hand activity.

More Trim

We got some more lovely trim for sewing today.  No new fabric, but the trim is really nice, so we suppose we'll be happy with that.  There is always tomorrow for finding fabric, after all.  And tomorrow gives us time to make patterns!

Didn't Go

Due to rain we didn't go to the country this morning, which now that we have time to consider it is just as well.  The human was able to do something to earn a free lunch for everyone, and then we were able to go fabric shopping.  We got material to make two or three shirts, material for at least four skirts, and the material we need for the bottom part of a costume and some lovely trim as well, so we are happy bunnies tonight.

Maybe Tomorrow

We might be heading to the country tomorrow to fix that little plumbing problem we are highly suspicious of the timing of.  Right before we were about to leave with the measurements for more work, and plans for heading back to do more work and the plumbing messes up.  Very suspicious timing.  And if we find the pipes jammed with kitty items, we will know for sure that Brother is to blame!

Sewing Went Well

We got a dress together last night, while the human was trying not to cry due to that awful show.  But that doesn't mean we are happy.  Poor human.  We can't believe the show that used to be so nice is now so evil.  Did those humans who write it accidentally get their hands on some evil item from our mice siblings' large cousin's other really good show that has warped their minds?
