Sorry for Brother's Latest Shriek Fest

Sorry for all of the noise that Brother made yesterday.  The humans had to attend a funeral and on the way we stopped at a quilt shop and found a hard to get quilt book.  Brother didn't take it well, and even though he was probably eighty miles or more away we still heard the shrieks right before we got hit with the mass of texts, demanding that we just hop out of that store right away, and to drop anything we might have in our paws as well.  And then we dropped into a book store, and of course he had to pitch a fit about that too.  We really hope the noise didn't bother anyone.  We're just keeping our paws crossed that he doesn't find anything to rant about tonight.  It's the human's birthday and we don't want him to damage the phone with text bombs.

Human's Birthday

The human's birthday is this week, and we are hopeful that we will obtain at least one and possibly two or more new siblings as a result.  The human was checking the teddy adoption center, and she's seen several nice bears that she would like to invite to move in.  We've heard a ton of kitty shrieks, but really, it's brother's own fault.  He abandoned us.  TWICE!  We can invite anyone we want to move in and he has no right to complain.  We just hope the human isn't too sad on her birthday.  Last year she spent the day sobbing over that CAT!

Tuesday

The human's birthday is Tuesday, and we're already getting texts from Brother demanding to know what she has planned.  Honestly, he abandoned us!  Why in the world doesn't he get that if he deserts, then he has absolutely no right to object to any of the human's possible birthday plans?  He ought to be ashamed of himself, and there is nothing wrong with the human holding a birthday celebration in an archive, or meeting a few cousins, anyway!

Birthday Report

I would like to announce that the human's birthday was a thing of true horror. I really don't know how an event could be much worse. The human did go to the country today, accompanied by the bunnies, the bears, my teddy cat sister who invited all of those siblings to move in on Friday, a tiger and a stingray. Oh, it was awful. First the human went by the archives and got the happy news that cousin James Edward is dead, and not only is he dead, but he had the nerve to leave a detailed obituary, with a long list of his survivors! Such a long, long list of survivors! Really, the nerve of this cousin, having twelve children and causing that awful tree to grow more! He should be ashamed! And then, oh, it is just horrible! The human went by two of the burrow libraries and got more cards! The bunnies even helped the stingray get a card! All of them have cards! And even worse, they're letting the bunnies recommend books for them to read, books that I am sure are focused on work or something equally nightmarish. Honestly, I don't know how a day could be much worse.

Monday Horror Approaches

The human has a birthday scheduled for Monday, and I am terrified of her plans for celebrating the day. She has mentioned visits to archives and libraries, and then dropping in on a few cemeteries as part of her anticipated celebrations. It's sure to be a nightmare. I've seen the rabbits lounging on the human's bed, making birthday suggestions so I know trouble is coming. I wonder if I ought to plan to spend the day in bed now, to try to avoid the horror?

Word Count Day Five

Like I said in my previous post, the human wrote 2062 words this morning, which brings her overall word count up to 10544. She has to have 50000 words for the novel writing thing she is working on, and she is hoping to get to 80000 although she didn't think she was writing to the speed where she could manage that in a month just yet. I have serious worries that she is, though. And what am I going to do if she writes tonight as well? Heaven only knows how high her word count for the day might end up being. Really, doesn't she have other things to do for her birthday besides writing such frightening amounts?

Novel Horrors Day Five

The human's birthday is today and as part of her birthday fun, she cranked out another batch of writing on that terrible rabbit story. She wrote 2062 words just this morning, and she is so thrilled that it isn't funny with her progress and how things seem to be fitting together as far as the overall structure and and the outlines suggested suggested in various books she's read on the subject of writing at a speed like this. I don't think you want to know how the rabbits are celebrating.
