Stingray
The human let the stingray wobble out to the store, along with one of the bunnies this afternoon. I don't know why in the world she allowed such a thing, and I am very nervous about the things the stingray had with him when he came back, more supplies for fixing the pool! Just wonderful. Another sibling who is obsessed with swimming. It will be just my luck that he will decide that he wants to invite all of his stingray friends over for pool parties too, just like the bunnies and the penguins! We don't need the parties growing bigger!

Penguin Waddling Out
As if it isn't bad enough that the human lets the bunnies accompany her when she goes out, now she's letting the penguin waddle along much more than I'm sure is good, good for me, that is. I'm sure that penguin is putting horrible ideas into her head about the pool. I just heard her talking about how nice it would be to have the pool open year round. Only a penguin could have put that notion into her head! Can you imagine the parties that would occur if the pool was open all year? No one would ever get a wink of sleep!

Pool Repairman is Coming!
The pool repairman is coming tomorrow, to hopefully correct what the first repairman did wrong. I hope the zoo has invested in extra locks for the penguins' home, because my penguin siblings are working on party invitations now, in anticipation of the pool being repaired and functional soon. The zoo has a mass of Halloween events planned, which will only make the penguins' fleeing easier if their dwelling isn't secured properly. Really, they'll probably waddle right out disguised as waiters. And do you know how loud penguin parties get? And how much fish they eat? MY FISH!

Diving
The penguins are practicing their diving form, bouncing up and down on the beds and the couches, trying to touch their beaks to their webbed feet. Not a good sign. Diving practice makes me think they are planning on doing a bit of swimming soon, and penguins going swimming can only lead to them inviting other penguins over to take a dip. And the other penguins are likely to be from the zoo, too. I don't know why in the world that place hasn't done something to up their security. Surely penguin escapes can't be good for business.

What to Hide First
I need to to decide what I must hide first, the car keys or the phone. Not only is a country trip being threatened, but now there is the threat that the human will call a pool repairman in who might know what they are doing to fix the mess the first repairman made. Even though it's getting nippy, a repaired pool still has the potential for leading to penguin pool parties and zoo escapes. And all of MY fish being snatched to be served to party guests! All of my fish! I guess that means the phone should go first. Now to figure out where to hide it, and how to silence the ringer so it won't be found.

Swimming Pool
The bunnies didn't go to the country today, but I'm almost wishing they had now. Instead, they amused themselves helping the humans with opening the POOL! I was hoping the humans would forget about opening that thing this year, I really was, but after the storm that someone danced up, the cover was damaged and there was no choice. It's filling with the last of the water now. This is going to be a disaster. All that pool does is attract penguins, and provides a place for the bunnies to splash about between gardening. Only disaster will result from it being open. I think I just spotted my penguin siblings with paper for constructing party invitations too! Do you know how disruptive a penguin party is?

Going into Hiding
I have to go into hiding right away. That's my only choice. I don't know how I'll fit my litter box into my hiding place, but I'll have to squeeze it in somehow. The human is making a list of places to contact, looking for goodies for that horrible reunion, and the penguins have been waddling around, suggesting places where their penguin relations live, and asking for free or discounted tickets. They claim they just want to help the human out, but I know better. They want an excuse to get together with their penguin relatives, and plan pool parties! The house will be packed with penguins if the human goes though with her plans!

New Penguin
Another penguin has moved in. Her flight just arrived today, and naturally she caught a cab right over to the house. I am very worried about this penguin. Naturally she arrived without luggage, which means I am going to have to somehow find clothing to force her into, and in even worse news, I swear I heard her telling my other penguin siblings that she passed out all of the party invitations that they wanted sent out. I just know that they've invited every penguin they could possibly find a nest address for to come up for a pool party!

More Penguin Issues
Oh, and the penguins have been gathering alarming amounts of penguin movies and television programs as well, for entertainment for this party they have planned. I don't even want to think of the number of disks they have to show to all of their little penguin friends. How long are these other penguins going to be here that they think they'll have time to watch all of that?

Tuna and Black and White Buntings
How worried do you suppose I should be? My penguin siblings are wadding around the back yard hanging up a bunch of black and white penguin colored buntings all around the fence and from every place they can get to. Granted as penguins they are pretty short and can't reach high, but given enough time I just know they'll find the ladder and decide to try it. I don't like what they're doing with the tuna, either. They snatched every can they could find, and all of the salmon too, and have made little balls out of them, with toothpicks poking out. They're planning to serve little penguin appetizers! They used an entire box of 1000 toothpicks the human had for cake decorating purposes so I think you can imagine how truly alarming this is. How many penguins are they expecting that they need this much party food?

Penguin RSVPs
The penguins' guests have started sending in RSVPs for the upcoming party my penguin siblings have planned. I hope our poor, misfortunate mailman has insurance. Over 200 hundred penguins from Seaworld have replied and I don't even want to think of how many aquarium penguins are making plans to come. Friday and the weekend are big days for penguins, but they let my siblings know that security is light on Mondays, so they're aiming for then to head up here. If they escape on Monday before the places open, they might be here by lunch depending on the plane schedules! Oh, I am doomed! Do you think I have time to make a jail reservation to avoid this penguin disaster?

Penguins Do Fly
It turns out I was wrong and penguins actually do fly. A couple of them even have enough frequent flier miles for a nice South American vacation. Oh, that's such a horrible sign I'm trying not to think of it too much. If they have the points to get to South America then surely they have enough points to get themselves and all of their little penguin friends up here for a party. They probably even have enough points to travel first class too, where they will have stewardesses to serve them drinks and fresh fish the entire way. What if they catch an early flight before Seaworld opens and their escape is noticed? They could be here by lunch!

Seaworld
The penguins just pulled up the website on Seaworld looking for penguin email addresses and this is the page that popped up on penguins. Why in the world are they allowed to show such frightening things were anyone can see them? I believe I counted at least twenty penguins in that one shot alone, and I'm sure that isn't all of their penguin hoard. Do you suppose the neighbors need to be warned about this?

More Penguin Trouble
The penguins were doing a bit of checking and they found a horrible place down in Florida called Seaworld. I used to think it was probably okay based on the size of the buffet they offer but that was before I found that they have an entire exhibit area filled with PENGUINS! I'm afraid to look and see how big the exhibit is, because if it's anything like other exhibits down there, it's sure to be large and home to more penguins than I want to think of. I'm afraid my penguin siblings are checking to try to find the email addresses for the penguins who live down there now, so they can invite them up for a party. Does anyone know if Florida can hold me accountable for mass penguin escapes? My one comfort is that at least penguins can't fly, and will thus have to catch a bus up. That ought to delay them a little.

They're Back
The humans returned a bit ago and are planning my upcoming torture in the country now. I might get drug up there tomorrow. As for Betsy Bear, well, she was chuckling rather evilly when she came trotting in, and I know I heard alarming sounds of something large being stashed in the back yard. I just know she's got a purloined cannon back there. I can only hope that the cannon's former owners don't think to look back there for it. That penguin chick was chuckling too, which I'm sure isn't a good sign when it comes to other penguins and the planned party. That little thing had probably 100 invitations for the aquarium penguins and they were all distributed, it seems, which seems a terrible sign. I don't know what the mailman is going to think when he has to deliver all of those penguin RSVPs. And what will the aquarium do when all of their penguins take off to hang out here and party?

Penguin Chick
The penguin chick escaped. I was supervising the big penguins yesterday to make sure they didn't take off with the humans, and somehow that little chick slipped past me. The little thing is down at the hotel lounging on the bed now, and I'm sure plotting to deliver party invitations to all of that poor aquarium's penguins. Do you know, they actually have the nerve to feature pictures of penguins on their brochures? I'm sure that's a bad sign about how many of the horrible things live there and are about to be invited up here for partying purposes.

Penguin Disaster Planned
I was just checking those maps Betsy Bear was looking at, and I realized that this weekend is going to be a bigger disaster than I imagined. This Civil War place is suspiciously close to the place where some of the penguins' relatives are living and to make matters worse, I think the human's planning to go right by their home while doing research on that awful relative of hers whose letters she's planning to publish. The penguins have been waddling around with paper, pens and stickers, and I have a horrible feeling they're using them to construct invitations to a pool party to be distributed to all of their relations! Does anyone know if the aquarium can hold me in any way accountable for this upcoming penguin escape? Goodness knows those places just love blaming cats for every other crime that might happen around there. They loose one little fish and automatically they find the nearest feline to accuse of eating it. I don't want to think of the accusations that will be flying when their penguins escape for a party.

Penguins are Getting Into the Act
The rabbits have recruited the penguins to assist them in convincing the human that hoop house construction plans should be started. They mentioned the idea of a hoop house over the pool, and of course those penguins were sold on the idea right away. Does anyone know how in the world to stop this? I shudder to imagine how many plants might result from year round gardening access and I shudder at the penguin pool parties that might result!

Upcoming Penguin Party
The penguins sent out invitations, inviting every penguin they could think of to come to a pool party on Wednesday. They thought if they scheduled it for the middle of the week, security at the zoo would be more lax, and their guests would have an easier time getting out. Do you think I should warn the neighbors about this? And I don't know what the penguins will do if the rabbit party is still lingering on Wednesday. How many bunnies and penguins can one pool hold?

The Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is all ready to be opened. The humans just have to pull the cover off tomorrow, vacuum the bottom and it's ready to go. Needless to say, I'm very concerned. I spotted the rabbits with a batch of party invitations, and an address book filled with burrow addresses for every bunny in hopping distance. I think they're planning a pool party! Does anyone know how I can go about canceling this gathering? Besides the wet rabbit smell, I just know they're going to try to get me to join them in the pool. Not to mention, I'm sure the penguins will be encouraged and will be planning a party next if the bunnies get away with their party.
