More Pattern Theft

That awful, rotten kitty.  Wasn't it bad enough that he deserted us, and then fled once more after sabotaging the phone so we couldn't recapture him?  He really must be punished severely for his latest crime.  We were poking around, looking for more lawyer gifts, when we noticed a box, hidden under several of the boxes containing the human's Wizard of Oz stuff and an old jewelry box.  We decided to open it, and you won't believe what we found.  PATTERNS!  We made patterns for the construction of quilts featuring various canines long, long ago and tucked them away until we could work out how to use them.  Well, Brother got his paws on them and hid them, along with a ton of our other patterns!  Grand Theft Pattern!  We wonder how many years that could get Brother is we press charges?

Call

Brother will be very displeased to know that we talked to a lawyer today.  Hehehehehehehehe!  We will soon see that cat in court, just you wait and see.  We are almost through cutting all of the pieces for the lawyer's quilt, and hope to have it stitched up this weekend.  We are sure he'll be most pleased with it, and will be eager to help us with our little cat problem.  Oh, Brother is going to be so sorry he tried to desert us again, just you wait and see!

The Rat Will Pay

We hope Brother is enjoying his freedom, for when we catch him, he is doomed.  The human spent the day in hysterics over losing him again, and our fur was much endangered from tears.  When we get that cat back in custody, oh, do we have plans for him.  Escaping a second time.  That surely is illegal and as soon as we finish that nice lawyer's quilt, don't think we won't be loosing the law on Brother.  He ought to be ashamed of himself!  Well, he will be very sorry that he is forcing us to resort to the law.  This quilt is coming together very nicely, and we have high hopes the lawyer might be able to sell a few to his little lawyer friends once he sees it.  As soon as Brother is recaptured, we swear he's going on the quilt assembly line, and he better not think he'll be able to claim his little paws are too soft and tender to work a needle!  He should have thought of that before he escaped a second time!

That RAT!

That RAT!  That complete and utter RAT!  It turns out that Brother was deliberately trying to take down our phone!  We should have known he was plotting something, and don't think he won't be punished.  While our phone was down, and we were enjoying the quiet, Brother managed to escape from his current residence, so he is on the loose and must be hunted down once more!  Well, he better enjoy his freedom while it lasts!  We are hard at work, making a quilt for a LAWYER and we will see Brother in court for the trouble he is causing!

Peace!

Finally, it is peaceful down here, thanks to the constant texts running down the battery on the cell phone.  We bet it never occurred to Brother that eventually the battery would go if he didn't stop sending so many messages.  So now until the human does something about the battery, we are safe from harassing messages!  So nice, and the battery went down just in time to stop Brother from ruining our library visit too!

Phone Bills

When do phone bills usually arrive?  Because we're figuring that Brother will announce his eagerness to return home at right around the time the human who is currently stuck with him gets her phone bill.  We hate to think of how high that thing is.  We hopped out for breakfast this morning, and of course we got harassed with texts demanding to know what we were up to.  We were thinking of hopping to the library tomorrow but we're not sure how to sneak past Brother's bugs.  We're sure the librarians would be very annoyed to have texts constantly coming in in their establishment.  Perhaps we could put little slippers on our paws to muffle to sound of our steps.  That might fool him.

Today's Complaints

Brother continues to send annoying texts.  Today it was first a text demanding to know why a couple of us had hopped out the door and insisting that we return right away, and then there was a complaint that he was hearing page flipping, and had we been to the library.  We're starting to wonder if he has cameras rigged along with those bugs.  Doesn't that violate some sort of law, installing cameras and bugs to harass your innocent siblings?  Anyway, we had been to the library and got three lovely quilt books full of ideas.  We have another batch that is on the way, and that we can hopefully pick up over the weekend, and really, Brother has no right to complain!  We are allowed to read!

Siblings

Brother's back to texting again.  Really, he will have ran up the largest bill by the time he moves back in.  We just hope he doesn't get us stuck paying it.  It's not like we told him to text us every five minutes.  We don't want him to text us every five minutes.  It's annoying to have to answer all of those messages and we certainly shouldn't be forced to pay for being harassed.  Anyway, today we got the most annoying message from Brother saying that he heard little bear paws scampering into the house, and he demanded to know if we had let another sibling in.  Really, what were we supposed to do but let that bear move in here?  He was very helpful when we we searching at the local homeless shelter for possible thread, fabric or quilting books.  And those teddy pups we met in the country were so helpful as well.  We are up to 777 siblings and Brother has no right to complain!

Convinced

We are convinced the human's accident last night was part of a trap.  We checked this morning, and found a block from one of the flowerbeds, what we believe the human stumbled on, had been tampered with and moved.  This tampered with block was very near the entrance to the public rabbit restroom, so we fear that some sort of plot to cause a bunny to suffer a sprained paw is in the works, and we are sure Brother is somehow responsible.  Really, just because we gathered the material for two more quilts, and have been hard at work on assembling them, Brother has no right to plot an all out assault on rabbits!  What if he had got one of our bunny friends who live in the backyard with his little trap?

Short Post Tonight

Just a short post tonight.  Our poor human.  She tripped, or possibly was caught in a Brother designed trap, and as a result has a sprained wrist.  We're going to have to go out there in the morning and look for signs of a trap.

This Weekend

We hopped to the country this weekend, with plans to snuggle up at the country cottage, and get a lot of stitching done.  The cel reception is bad there, and we were planning a lovely weekend of no harassing texts.  Well, we packed our backing material, batting, quilts, and bags of quilts to be assembled, and everything looked to be going perfectly.  Then when we got up there, we are sure Brother is to blame is all that we can say.  As soon as we figure out how to dust backing fabric, we plan to search it for kitty paw prints.  Our backing material had been shrunk!  Shrunk too small for the quilt we planned to pop on top of it!  We had looked carefully calculated that backing long ago, and we know the only way it could be too small now is if Brother did a bit of tampering.  And then we went to finish up a few squares, so we could put them in line to be stitched into rows, only to find we were missing the floss necessary to stitch them.  We know it was in the bag with the squares, and we're sure a dusting of that bag will show paw prints!  Stolen floss!  Shrunken backing!  Brother should be ashamed!

Patterns

Brother is in so much trouble when we get him back.  After much searching, we finally located a box, stuffed full of our quilt patterns, with suspicious kitty paw prints on the box lid.  We know Brother snatched our patterns, and he hid a giant box of fabric too!  Fabric hiding, pattern hiding, he ought to be ashamed of himself!

If He Breaks It

If Brother breaks the phone, he is paying for its repair, and we hope he knows how much that cost the last time it developed an issue.  It's been one constant text it feels like today, so bad that we have had to assign a bunny to permanent phone duty so at least some of us could accomplish something.  We drew up two more patterns today, and of course he was sending messages the entire time demanding we put down our pencils, paper, crayons and scissors right away.  Really, why does Brother want us to be poor?

Phone Damage

We think the phone might have finally suffered damage from all of the text messages Brother keeps sending.  There was barely a pause today with him complaining that he heard the snipping of paper and then the snipping of fabric, and finally the poking of pins.  How can he hear pin poking?  Anyway, he demanded to know if we were designing something.  Well, the answer to that is YES!  We just designed the cutest bunny pattern, and have the square for the sample all cut out, and ready for stitching.  And more important, we have it almost ready for selling and teaching!  We are going to encourage the construction of bunny merchandise by others!  And this is just our first bunny quilt attempt.  We have loads more ideas, that we just need to sketch out, snip and stitch!  Maybe we ought to turn the phone off before we begin cutting, though.  Would that protect it from damage from constant texting?

Brother Update

The human limped to the doctor today, to treat the agony her doctor visit yesterday caused.  Do you think we should be suspicious of some sort of medical conspiracy?  Anyway, the human's doctor mentioned those kittens are getting into everything.  We can only hope his daughter has not checked her cell bill yet, and doesn't know specifics about the everything Brother is getting into.  We must have gotten over 200 texts so far.  Doesn't Brother have better things like packing to do instead of harassing us?  If we could just find those bugs he has hidden around the house.  It is getting most annoying.

Still More Texts

We don't know whose phone Brother is using, but whoever it is, we do hope they have a feature with unlimited texting.  Oh, the number of messages that kept popping up today.  Brother kept complaining about hearing tissue paper rustling, and the sounds of pages being unfolded, and demanded that we get our paws off the pattern packets at once.  It is too LATE!  We have the patterns, we have studied the patterns, and we are ready to cut out and sell from the patterns!  We got four more little pattern packets today, and we found a lovely deal on felt and fabric for constructing merchandise.  So there is nothing Brother can do at this point.  He ought to be focusing on moving back in, instead of sending us so many texts of complaint.  We don't know what his problem is anyway.  Does he want us to be poor bunnies?

More Texts

We keep getting texts from Brother.  Now he's sending messages, saying he's hearing the snipping of tissue paper, and he is demanding we stop cutting out patterns at once.  Well, it is too late, we hope he knows.  We have already cut out the pattern to make the cutest toy watermelon pattern for humans, and we are already halfway finished with stitching it together!  Really, we don't know why Brother keeps texting, instead of getting busy packing to move back in.  We expect a message at any moment, with complaints about page flipping once more, from our studying an article on how to make money on Ebay.  What does that cat have against hard working bunnies making a nice living?

Looking for Bugs

No luck finding those bugs brother has spread all over the house to spy upon us.  Apparently, he was really good at hiding them.  He ought to be ashamed of himself.  We think we might have to turn off the phone soon, to block the text messages, or we are never going to accomplish a thing what with having to read his texts every five minutes, saying he hears stitches, and to stop at once.  Really, if Brother keeps this up, well, we might just have to pay a little visit to the fabric store to annoy him.  Anyway, he ought to be busy packing for his return home, not harassing us via a cell phone.

Text Bill

Brother must be running up quite a bill with these text messages he keeps sending us.  We got one a bit ago saying he heard the sewing machine, and demanding to know what we are up to.  Really, we stitch everything by paw!  It was the grandhuman on the machine, not us, and Brother ought to know better.  He's complained that he has heard the scratching of pencils and crayons as well, and has demanded we stop marking fabric and drawing patterns right away.  We are sure he has put listening devices all over the house.  We're surprised he hasn't commented on the heavier hoofsteps of our new horse brother, Clyde, who just moved in today, bringing us up to 774 siblings.  We have got to figure out how to locate those listening devices right away.

Ideas

We went by the local homeless shelter this afternoon, looking for possible fabric or thread.  The occasionally offer it to support their causes and we were hopeful.  Nothing in that line, but we met the nicest bear, who helped us find a lovely quilting magazine filled with ideas for fast stitching to sell in our little store.  Naturally we invited him to move in, Bringing us up to 773 siblings, including a lovely bear we met at that giant sale last weekend.  Brother isn't happy, and now we are getting text messages, saying he is hearing page flipping, and to stop reading at once.  Does anyone know how to search a house for listening devices?

Quilt Update

We are almost finished with another human sized quilt, and we are over halfway through sewing the rows for a third human sized quilt.  Work is progressing very well, although it is annoying when we have to put down our needle because the phone is buzzing with another text message from Brother.  He's apparently given up the hope that we don't know where he is, and is sending us messages, saying he hears stitching and to stop at once every five minutes.  We really think he must have bugged the house before deserting us.

Brother!

We have kitten photos!  We have kitten photos and we are sure now that the kitten the human's doctor has under close watch is brother!  He has definitely been caught!  Now it is just a matter of dragging him home to his loving bunny and bear siblings where he belongs.  Oh, happy day, we have found him at last!

No Orders Yet

No sewing orders yet, but we're sure it's only a matter of time until they start rolling in.  While we're waiting, we're thinking of various promotional ideas, and we really think that entering some of our items into the local fairs might be a lovely idea.  If we could get our efforts to win a nice ribbon or two, we are sure it would be wonderful publicity, and would start the orders rushing in.  And by a lovely co-incidence, there is a fair up in the country next week!  The country and a possible ribbon to promote a bunny business venture.  We're sensing a ticked kitten once more!

Today was Even Better!

Today was even better than yesterday, although the kitty shrieks as a result were even worse.  We made a lovely little shop on Etsy to sell items.  Take a look at http://www.etsy.com/shop/KeithsEmporium to see what we have so far.  We're offering a lovely gown for teddies and bunnies at the moment, and decorative items for humans.  Needless to say, Brother is not happy about our attempt to earn money, even though we tried to tell him the funds are to cover his moving expenses.

Sale was Great!

The sale was great, and we really hope the kitty shrieks didn't annoy anyone too much.  Oh, Brother is in trouble this time.    The nicest organization devoted to kitties and pups was taking part in the sale this year, and we bought over twenty yards of lovely, lovely fabric from them.  Needless to say, they were very happy with our visit, and quite agreed with us that Brother is a naughty kitten who deserves to be punished for deserting such lovely siblings.  All of the other kitties who were there agreed, and even some dogs who had dropped by to check out the selection of canine clothing.  So lovely to see so many agreeing with us.  Brother is naturally pitching a fit over the fabric, and even is threatening to see the Amish in court after they sold us a yard of thirties reproduction fabric.  Really, what does he expect to claim as damages, their horse and buggy?  He ought to be ashamed of himself, raising such a fuss after we had such a lovely, lovely day.

Print Out

We printed out a photo of one of that large mouse who lives in Florida's bunny friends, and are studying it, trying to figure out how to transfer it onto a quilt.  We're wanting something to enter into that crafts section of the fair next month, and a bunny quilt sounds like it would be different enough to get us a lovely, lovely ribbon.

Sale Will Soon Be Here

Just one more day and a few hours until we get to head to that lovely, lovely, giant sale!  We're hard at work, packing shopping essentials, and we're very much afraid that Betsy is hard at work packing all of her snitching sacks.  We're trying to ignore her, though, going on the theory that if we don't pay attention to her antics, it might discourage her a bit.  We can only hope so.  We really don't want to face the commotion that bear can cause while we are trying to shop for sewing and seed bargains!

Names

We've got to get to work thinking up a nice name for our new future kitten brother or sister.  The human's doctor thinks that all three are boy kitties, but do you think we need to have a girl kitten name picked out as well just in case he might be mistaken?  Maybe we if we give the new kitty the right name, a bunny like name, then it will decide to be our friend and ally against Brother.  Wouldn't that be so nice?

List

We think we need to write out a list of things to look for when we go to that giant sale this weekend so we don't get sidetracked and miss needed items.  We do worry that Betsy will get hold of the list, though, will add massive amounts of cookies and honey, and will trick some of the younger bunnies into possibly assisting her with snitching.  We wouldn't put taking advantage of baby bunnies past her.  We have lovely news on our Brother hunt too.  We gave the human's doctor our cell number so he can text us pictures of Brother and the kitties he is living with.  We can't wait to see those and pick out our new sibling!

Sibling Update

We hopped by the homeless shelter today, hoping they might have some fabric available to help support their lovely causes.  No fabric, but the nicest bear who had fallen on hard times did help us find two quilting hoops.  He was so nice, what else could we do but invite him to move in with us?  We're up to 771 siblings!

Lovely Update

We are almost finished with our second human sized quilt.  We keep hearing kitty screams with every stitch, but really, stuffing a bit of batting in our ears mutes them nicely.  We've had such a nice weekend.  There was a WONDERFUL fabric sale we went to today.  We got the material to construct two more quilts, and then sashing to assemble goodness knows how many more.  We think we got 24 yards all together.  Such a wonderful shopping spree!  We probably should have warned the store to guard their door against kittens, though, now that we think about it.

Saturday Report

The library amused itself providing us with the nicest books on quilt assembly today, and then we found this lovely, lovely site with so many wonderful patterns for blocks, with little templates we can download and print.  Needless to say, Brother is not happy, and is threatening our internet access.  We made a few adjustments to the internet password, though, so we don't see how we can mess with it.  Brother will just have to learn to live with our patterns is all we can say.

Cat Quilts

Brother is not a happy kitty, but really, does he expect us to cater to him after how he cruelly abandoned us?  He has no right to complain after the trouble he has caused, deserting and making us spend so long hunting him down and making arrangements to drag him back.  We went to a quilt shop today, and found the nicest fabric featuring kitties.  We grabbed four fat quarters, and might hop back for some yardage later.  And then we found the most interesting patterns, of kitties done up in a vegetable look!  Brother dressed as a carrot, we would love to make a quilt like THAT!

Giant Yard Sale

The giant yard sale that alarmed Brother so is scheduled for next week, and we are so looking forward to it.  There are always lots of nice seed and quilting things available there, and this year the human might arrange for us to meet with a friend of the Grandhuman's to test one of those lovely, lovely cutting machines.  We might even try to get get a hotel so we can stay all NIGHT this year!  Wouldn't that be fun?

Human Update

Human's still feeling rather sore and achy, so we might be heading back to the doctor tomorrow or next Tuesday for more work.  Whichever day we go, we're debating if we ought to lag something along for those other two kitties Brother is currently living with.  If we send them presents, then they might end up becoming our friends, and deciding bunnies are wonderful.  It would be so nice to have a kitty ally in the house for a change.

Human Report

The human is currently icing her wrist and elbow in an attempt to recover from the troubles inflicted upon her by her vic....  we mean characters.  Really, they have no sense of humor at all.  The doctor adjusted her wrist and elbow, and told her to ice it.  He didn't have any pictures of Brother, but he still has him under close watch, and it is just a matter of time until we have him back in custody once more.  Heheheehehehehehehe!  And then we will show him why he shouldn't have tried to abandon us!

Doctor Tomorrow

The human has to limp to the doctor tomorrow, after injuring a wrist while writing her evil fan fiction.  Really, those characters took her story entirely the wrong way.  How bad could stitches without an anesthetic be?  They didn't have to arrange such pain for our human in retaliation for that.  On the up side, though, hopefully we will get to see a photo of Brother.

New Pattern

We managed to get the nicest pattern yesterday, after hopping home from that sale, and it was free as well, right there online for our clicking and downloading pleasure.  Brother can't sue the internet for providing it to us, right?  Such a nice pattern, of a kitty that looks just like BROTHER!  We really need to print it out and start sewing on that one right away.

Patterns

We arrived at that sale bright and early, and were able to get a ton of lovely, lovely patterns.  You should have heard the little kitty shrieks, but thankfully Brother didn't try an actual attack.  That would have been SOOOO embarrassing.  Anyway, we had a lovely time, and when we visited a church for lunch, we met the nicest moose, and invited him to move in, bringing us up to 770 siblings.  Patterns and a new sibling.  Just a a perfect day.

Tomorrow

We saw the nicest sign, advertising a sale where quilt patterns will be given away tomorrow.  Naturally, we are planning to hop to it, first thing in the morning.  We thought about camping out, like some other bunnies are planning to do, in the bushes beside the house that is hosting the sale, but it is only a few blocks away, so we thought we might as well stay here.  We just hope that Brother doesn't try to attack this event.  We wouldn't put it past him to try to prevent our getting our paws on some lovely new patterns.

Must Find a Way

We are still thinking, and trying to find a way to get that wonderful quilt cutting machine.  Oh, how it would help us.  No more worries about squares being too short, now struggles with pins and paper patterns.  Surely there is a way for us to earn the money to purchase it somehow.  We wish that pesky cat would get back here,  We could put him to work to help us raise money!

Look, Look, and ignore the Screams!

We have just found the most wonderful device ever.

  It is supposed to enable you to cut quilts with a super degree of accuracy within minutes.  We are dying to get our paws on it.  We're sure if we had it, we could not only do our stuff super fast, but perhaps we could convince humans and other bears and bunnies to pay us to cut fabric for them too.  There has to be a way to get it!  We wish Brother would stop shrieking from his hiding place so we can think of that way!

Doctor Update

The human's doctor still has Brother under observation, we're happy to report.  He's going to bring pictures of the other two kitties he's hanging out with, so we can decide which one we want to move in with us as well when Brother is recaptured.  All and all, it's been a lovely, lovely day.

Human's Doctor

The human is going to the doctor tomorrow, and hopefully he will have an update on that kitten he believes is our naughty, deserting brother.  We wonder if we ought to take a cage along with us, or a leash and strong chains in case he has captured Brother, and is ready to return him to our custody.  Or he might keep him awhile, to make him work off that bill he failed to pay first.

Top's Done

The human sized quilt top is done, except for one little sashing strip at the top and the bottom that we have to mark, pin and sew.  We are so pleased with our effort, and we accomplished it in spite of the continuing kitty shrieks and threats too!  YAY for bunny perseverance!

Today's Update

Today's sewing has gone well.  The library provided us with two more books of ideas and patterns, and we are almost done stitching together a full sized human top.  If we could just get our paws on Brother, to drag him back into custody where he belongs, things would be perfect.  We swear, we are going to put little chains on his paws, to punish him for abandoning us for so long.  He has been gone SIX months!  He ought to be ashamed of himself, for such a horrible act of desertion.

Fabric Sale

We went to visit a yard sale that was advertising fabric and quilt stuff today, and much to the dismay of that deserter cat, we hopped home with two large sacks of material for quilts and clothing.  The prices were very, very reasonable, and we are thrilled with the good deals we got.  We might spend the weekend, happily designing stuff to sew.  We can stuff cotton in our ears to block the kitty shrieks, we are sure.  And we also ran into a two more bears, a pup and the nicest frog while we were out and invited them to move in, bringing the sibling count to 769.

Dye

We were poking around, looking for more potential books to read, and we found what looks like the easiest instructions for dying your own fabric, using natural ingredients!  We're hoping to get a special pot, to boil up some dye in tomorrow.  Our only worry is Brother.  If we put our pot on to boil over a fire in the backyard, do you think he might notice, and try an attack?

Book Seven

We are almost finished with book SEVEN for the reading program.  We keep hearing little kitty shouts every time we tap the Kindle to turn a page.  Really, how can Brother hear a screen tap?  We're starting to think he might have the house bugged to spy upon us.  Isn't that illegal, spying on innocent rabbits?  We hope to move on to book eight shortly, and then start a new form.

Reading

Reading for that book program is going well.  We're almost finished with our SIXTH book!  Soon we will be able to hop to the library to turn in our forms, collect a packet of seed each, and be issued a second form!  We sense a mountain of seed in our immediate future if we can keep reading at this rate!

Possible Sale

The humans are possibly going to have another sale this weekend which, of course, will call for rabbit assistance.  Needless to say, we heard a lot of kitty shrieking this afternoon, and threats to pull down any yard sale sign we attempt to hang.  Brother is insisting that our getting our paws on money must be some sort of crime that should be prevented.  Really, we have never heard such a wild claim in our lives. He ought to be ashamed of himself.  We really hope the humans do do a sale.  We had such good fortune with the last one, we're sure another one will be even better!

Fun Today

We have already finished one book for all of our lists for that reading program, and we plan to have a second book finished by the end of the night.  And we have been organizing our sewing stuff too.  We now have two bins, of things to be sewed, and things that need more pieces cut, or more work done first.  We feel we will be so much more efficient now that we're organized.  Needless to say, there were a ton of kitty screams as we did this organization and reading.  Really, Brother should be ashamed, and we are sure that he has no right to threaten to sue the library.

Reading Program

We hopped to the country library today, one of those that our brother found alarmingly burrow like.  Really, it's such a nice place, and they're so nice to their rabbit patrons.  They have the most wonderful reading program set up this year, offering a packet of seed of seed for every eight books read.  And they count books you listen to, as well, so our plan is for one bunny to read while the rest of us work on sewing and gardening.  Then we can all count the book on our lists, and get even more seed much faster.  Oh, Brother is going to be so upset when he hears!

Today's Update

We got eight more spools of thread today, including five of those lovely, giant cones.  Needless to say, Brother is not happy, but until he moves back in, really, what can he do?  We're thinking of making ear muffs to muffle the shrieks to make it easier to ignore him.  We hope the human's doctor gets back from vacation soon, so he can return that cat to custody.  And we really need to ask him if he can keep an eye out for nice fabric for us on his next trip.  We can make that request when we collect Brother and our new kitty friend.  Won't that annoy him!

The Fourth

We were hopping that the noise of all of those people blowing up things would force Brother to return home in search of quiet but thanks to the rain the noise was dampened.  Very annoying, although now that we think about it, there might have been a problem if Brother had returned today.  We donated his old box to our new bunny friends so they could have indoor plumbing.  We're sure Brother won't take that news well at all.

Sale Again

We've found a few more patterns we are dying to stitch, so we're thinking of hopping to that sale again tomorrow.  Not to mention, we found a few more colors of thread we need.  Brother is a worry, though.  After how he took our last purchases, what if he is staking out the fabric store, determined to catch us by our big ears as we hop in, and prevent shopping?

Fabric Sale

We hopped to the fabric sale today, and we must apologize if the screams disturbed anyone.  Brother is not taking the fat quarter of cat print fabric we got well at all, and he seems to believe the six giant cones of thread are some sort of threat.  Really, he's a very, very odd cat.  There is nothing wrong with our getting our paws on almost 20,000 yards of thread, is there?

New Fabric

Brother is so unhappy.  We found more missing squares today, and while hopping to the store to get fabric to replace them, what should we find, but a fabric featuring the human's favorite movie, the Wizard of Oz, and fabric that was on SALE too!  So the human is very, very happy with us, and is talking of rewarding us with gifts of SEED!  Kitty screams filled the air, and even worse, the store with the human's fabric is in the COUNTRY!

Sewing Progress

We're almost finished with assembling the quilt that batting is meant for.  It is going to be so nice, but really, it's annoying the shouting we hear with each stitch.  Okay, kitties have appeared on the fabric of the last couple of quilts, but Brother has no right to accuse us of trying to make him an accessory to sewing!  The kitties were a coincidence, not a plot!

Batting

There is a large piece of batting spread over the table, to allow the wrinkles to fall out before fluffing it in the dryer, and hopefully applying a quilt to it by tomorrow or Monday.  You know, we are starting to see some advantages to Brother's desertion.  He would never have left our nice batting alone to allow the wrinkles to settle.  He would have attacked it, we are sure, and possibly amused himself ripping it to bits just to annoy us.  Hmmm.  Maybe if he thinks we are seeing the up side to his escape, he'll return just to annoy us!

Seed Purchase

We bought seven packs of squash seed today, along with a pack of eggplant seed, and a pack of radish seed.  Nine packs in all.  You should have heard the shouts and threats to see us in court, but in our opinion and we are sure the opinion of the legal community, if Brother isn't living here, he has forfeited his right to object to ANYTHING we do or buy!  If he wants to object he will have to move in, but he better hurry.  We're hopping out to plant the seeds in the morning!

Backyard Bunnies

We told the nicest family of bunnies that it was perfectly fine with us if they installed a burrow in the backyard.  Would you believe that cat has been listing such a high rent for the property that bunnies were unable to afford to move in?  Well, since that deserter of a feline isn't here at the moment, we dropped the rent, and now the nicest bunnies are here.  And Brother won't be able to do a thing about it when he returns.  We guaranteed the rent price in a binding contract!

Zoo Break-In

We heard the oddest news today.  Apparently a bear tried to break into the zoo.  We can only assume he was planning to establish his den there, thinking the fence might prevent Betsy Bear from popping in to rob him of all of his honey.  Really, if that was his plan, he should have consulted a map.  We live maybe a mile or so from the zoo, putting it in the heart of Betsy Bear territory.  If this poor bear wants to live someplace that might be marginally safer, we recommend he apply to move in down at that large mouse's dwelling in Florida.  At least Betsy only turns up there occasionally, and they're very bear friendly.  He might even be able to find work in one of the shows.

Rent

Do you suppose Brother will wonder what happened to the rent money from the hole he is renting out when he gets back?  It just occurred to us that he might ask about that at some point.  We've been collecting it, you see, along with some money for a few new bird tenants.  There's no way he can demand we repay him, right?  He fled and left us to manage the property.  All cash should count as bunny money as a result.

Next Week's Sale

The fabric store has a lovely sale planned for next week.  They will have thread, batting and all sorts of materials designed to aid the construction of quilts and clothing for sale.  Do you think we should warn the fabric people they need to keep a close eye out for kittens at this event?  We don't know why Brother would attack it.  We're even thinking about buying some patterns to make clothing for him while they're on sale.  We expect much kitten hostility none the less.

The Car

The oddest thing happened with the car yesterday, while we were on our way to go fabric hunting with the human and grandhuman.  The key got stuck and couldn't be removed, which meant we couldn't turn the car off.  The humans had to rush it to the repair shop, which, on the up side, had the advantage of being near two places with fabric for us to prowl though.  We wonder if we should consider sabotage.

Quilt Ideas

We hope the grocery store is insured.  That poor, poor store.  They're soon going to face a kitten attack.  We hopped down there today and got not one but two ideas for lovely quilts that we have sketched so far, and there was the nicest bunny design quilt that we need as well.  We think you can imagine the screams.  The polar bears were right about how much fun quilting is, though.  Doesn't Brother want us to enjoy ourselves?

Air Report

There is still no progress in getting the main air fixed, leaving the human's room as the only place with air in the house.  Of course, all of us live in here, so we're perfectly happy, but we're not sure about Brother when he is recaptured.  We're sure he'll try to make a fuss about having to sleep with us, but really we don't know what his problem is.  It isn't our fault the main air is still broken and looks likely to stay broken until next summer at this rate.  And anyway, how loudly could our elephant siblings snore?

Maybe Found Him!

We might have found Brother!  Oh, happy day, that cat might be finally about to be recaptured and returned to us where he belongs!  We received a report today that he has been spotted, or at least a kitten who looks like him has been spotted.  It just has to be confirmed that it is Brother, and then he can be drug home!  And we swear for the trouble he has caused, we are going to pop him onto the quilt assembly line!  A few months of sorting squares ought to shape him up nicely.

New Idea

The human visited the bank today, and you won't believe this, but she found an excellent idea for a bunny novel while she was there.  Did we mention that our bank is one store over from the Burger King where we suspect Brother is lurking?  Josie Rabbit was in the back seat of the car when the human got the wonderful story idea, and she said she heard the most awful shouts coming from that direction, and then threats to take the bank to court.  Really, is is NOT illegal to encourage rabbits!

Today's Purchases

We hope the shrieks didn't bother anyone.  We got some lovely backing fabric for a quilt today, along with border fabric, and the nicest batting.  Needless to say that deserter of a feline wasn't thrilled with our purchases and kept shrieking and acting like we were committing some horrible crime.  We're surprised they didn't turn store security on him.

New Quilt

We have completed a lovely little quilt, in a perfect bunny size.  So cute, and it will be so cozy for us to snooze under.  Oh, you should have heard the kitty shrieks.  We're sure that a finished quilt is not a crime, and if Brother tries alerting the law, we're sure they'll tell him this too, and maybe they will capture and drag him home too, as a fugitive!

Rulers

We got a new ruler for sewing purposes today.  It's a big thing, and would make a nice kitty prodder too, come to think about it.  Oh, and we found out that the new fabric store is having a sale on clothing material too.  We wonder if we should alert them to keep an eye out for kittens planning to attack their merchandise before we can hop in to make purchases?

Chair

The human has added a chair to her room, which will allow her to read in comfort, and us to quilt in comfort.  Brother is so unhappy.  Hehehehehehehehe!  He has cause to object to anywhere we chose to sit, though, as he has deserted us.  We can sit wherever we like until he gets his tail back here to occupy a seat.  We think we'll go do some sitting and sewing right now!

Brother's Shrieks

Brother isn't happy once more.  We went out with the human today, and the library thoughtfully allowed us to borrow several books on constructing quilts.  Really, we don't think that was a crime at all, and certainly nothing they need punishment for but you should have heard the shrieks.  And we asked a new bear to move in too, bringing our sibling count to 765, so there was more shouting.  We're surprised Brother hasn't developed laryngitis at the rate he is shrieking.

Trap

We have came up with the perfect plan for a kitten trap to recapture Brother.  We're going to take the package that the human's book came in, the package that upset Brother so, that he was sure was full of seeds, and we're going to cover it in sticky glue, and then poke it on the porch, like it was just dropped off.  Brother will undoubtedly come rushing to try to snatch it, and he will be trapped!  He won't be able to flee with his paws stuck to a package, and we can drag him inside where he belongs!

Package

We got a package today in the mail, and you should have heard the screams.  It was a rather large package, and apparently Brother is sure it was stuffed full of seed.  We tried to say it was just a book the human won in a contest, but we don't think he was convinced, and we fear he is plaining something evil for the mailman.  Do you think we should warn him to beware of kittens?

Air

The air is still functioning well.  If we could only recapture that cat now.  We don't know why he's being so stubborn about returning home.  It isn't hot at all in the human's room.  We'll even move over and make plenty of space available for Brother right under the air conditioner if he likes.  Well, the human is going to the chiropractor in a day or two.  Here's hoping he's spotted the fugitive feline.

Today's Power Report

No power failures today, thank goodness.  Not that the heat really bothers us.  With our big ears we have built in fans and do fine in warm weather, but with Brother trying to use the heat and lack of air as an excuse for not moving back in, a power failure is not what we need to deal with.  As far as that cat needs to know, we have working air again, so he can just get that long snakey tail back in this house where he belongs!

Power Failure

The power went out a bit ago.  It's back on again, but we are a bit concerned.  We're charging all of the electronics, and making plans should there be a second failure to hustle the human off to the library or McDonalds where there might be functioning air and internet access.  Really, what is the power company doing?  First thanks to them we have had no air for weeks and weeks, and now this.

Air

The human was still feeling a bit bad, so we didn't go to the country today.  We did something Brother is sure to find even WORSE!  We got an air conditioner for the human's room, so now it's all comfy cozy in there.  Brother no longer can use the heat as an excuse to not move back in with us.  And since the air conditioner is in the human's room, where were all sleep as well, Brother will be spending so much more time with us, now won't he?

Just Occurred to Us

Well, yesterday's blog post hasn't been tampered with, and something just occurred to us.  The local library is closed on Fridays, so if Brother had trotted there to do the previous tampering, then he wouldn't have been able to mess with last night's blog this morning.  We think we might be onto something as far as determining his whereabouts.  He has probably tricked the librarians into thinking we know he's down there!  They're our friends, and we're sure wouldn't let that cat pop online to cause us trouble if they knew he was a fugitive.  We think we'll have to hop down there in the morning, and give them a wanted poster with Brother's picture.  Then maybe they'll be able to corner him for us.

Found It

We found and just put back up our missing post, but we are highly suspicious about how it went missing.  It had to be that cat!

This Weekend

The human is feeling slightly better today, and we now have hopes of going to the country this weekend.  The humans who are our neighbors at the country cottage are having a picnic and we would all love to go.  The only think we're not sure of is how many carrots we should pack to make grilled carrot dogs.  Do you think there will be a lot of other bunnies there who might enjoy them?  We didn't have time to talk to our new country rabbit friends before we left last time, so we don't know if they intend to picnic or not.  We guess if we run out of carrots, surely someone will have some in their garden we can pull up for grilling.

Very Odd

Something strange is going on here.  We hopped on to post tonight, only to see that our post from yesterday has gone missing.  We know we clicked post, but it's nowhere to be found.  You know, we've heard Burger King is offering free wi-fi.  Could Brother have got his paws on someone's tablet or phone and hopped online to bother our posting?  Maybe we should change the blog password to be safe.

Plans

We have had the most wonderful idea, for offering classes on constructing quilts, or more specifically, on constructing matching human and bunny or bear sized quilts.  We're sure that many humans would sign up for such things, especially human children.  Now if the human's illness would just get better so we could start working on lesson plans instead of carrying handkerchiefs and vitamin C.  Really, Brother ought to be ashamed of exposing her to that ragweed.

Human Update

The human is on antibiotics and a stronger anti-histamine due to her cold, and we are very suspicious.  We found a bouquet of RAGWEED right outside the door!  The human is allergic to that!  We checked around, and the squirrel across the street spotted some creature with pointy ears dropping it off.  He wasn't close enough for an identification, but the pointy ears make us feel sure that the creature in question is Brother.  He probably thinks if the human is ill, we will soon run out of thread, and as long as she's zonked out on anti-histamines, she won't be able to run us to the store for more spools.  Well, we will show him!  If necessary, we will get a bus pass!  That cat ought to be ashamed of himself!

Poor Human

The poor human is ill with either allergies, a cold, or both so our post tonight will be short. She's just leaving the computer on long enough to check her games before the anti-histamine kicks in. We wonder if we can blame this on Brother?

Sale Report

The sale went well, we are happy to say. Thank goodness many of the shoppers we attracted were a bit older, and didn't have rabbit like hearing, so the kitty shrieks when they picked stuff up didn't bother them. We made a tidy amount of money, and we're already looking forward to the next sale. We think we shall do a craft sale. We've already found several lovely deals on scrapbooking stuff to offer, and then we are going to cut out quilt pattern templates for sale. We can already hear the screaming!

Sale Starts Soon

Our sale starts soon. We're all ready with tons of snacks and drinks. It's going to be SOOOOO much fun! We're very worried about what Brother might be planning to do to disrupt the sale, though. We're sure he's up to something. Those humans were trapping kitties again to be lagged in to get their little wagons fixed, but we didn't see a trap or a captive kitty in sight when we looked. What if Brother has convinced all of the other kitties to attack our sale?

Wonderful Find

The human went to the doctor today, and on the way home stopped by the bookstore. You won't believe what they had in the free bin outside the store. 160 videos! Naturally we grabbed them all, and have already listed on on Amazon for sale. We're going to see how well it does, and then maybe start listing the rest if the first one does well. You should have heard Brother's screams when we sorted all of the tapes on the front porch. We think he's envisioning our bunny bank account going up and isn't happy at all!

Yard Sale Snacks

We bought packets of cookies to sell at the yard sale today. It was a bit embarrassing, though, all of the noise of a kitty shrieking outside the store. The poor salesgirl had to try twice to ring us up, and she kept looking out the window trying to figure out what was going on. We ought to sue Brother for harassment. You know, there's a good idea! He would have to be served if we sued, and then we could grab him while the server was handing over the paperwork! We don't want to know what that cat has planned for the actual sale day if he's acting up like this now.

Yard Sale

The humans might be having a yard sale this weekend, and if so, we will be running a refreshment booth. We already have some of the drinks we plan to sale. The only worry we have is Brother. What if he shows up and tries to sabotage things for us? We can just see him leaping onto our table and spilling our lemonade pitcher. We think we'll have to sit out some traps, just to be on the safe side.

We're Home

We're home from the country. We had such a nice time, and we made several new rabbit friends! We also got more squares cut out for quilting projects, and drew up diagrams for several more things to make. It was odd, though, because every time we picked up a crayon or needle, we heard a kitty shriek. Do you think Brother could be STALKING us?

Kitty Complaints

We're in the country, with material for any number of projects, all ready to sew together, and the kitty complaints were flying as we zoomed away this morning. Really, we don't think Brother can actually threaten to call the law on us, though. There is no law against sewing, despite his claim that quilts will only lead to our demanding little beds, and other little furniture, and there is certainly no law against vacationing. We're sure there is a law against deserting your human and siblings, though, so Brother best get himself home before WE report HIM!

Tomorrow

We're hopefully leaving for the country tomorrow, or to visit a relative, or possibly to do both. Brother is not happy at all, although we are sure he has no right to be kicking up such a fuss. He ABANDONED us! He is staying in hiding and refusing to move home like a good kitty should. That gives him no right to complain so. Anyway, we have to get material for two more quilts, so we do hope we visit the relative on the way to the country. That will give us a ton of potential fabric shops to look in.

The Country We Hope

We have high hopes of visiting the country this weekend, and really Brother has no right to object. For we also have high hopes of getting a new air conditioner for the country. The humans aren't sure if the old one up there works, and there is a very good sale on a new, shiny one at the moment. Which would make the country cottage cooler than here, so Brother shouldn't have a problem going there, now should he? He better get his tail here by tomorrow afternoon, is all we can say, all ready to leave with us!

Air Conditioning

Does a lack of air conditioning count as an excuse not to move back in?  Brother let it be known through some other cats that because the air conditioner met its demise, that he absolutely won't move back in and get his nice fur all sweaty.  Does he think that we were born yesterday? We have been outside. It is very warm there too, so we're sure lack of air conditioning is not justification for his continued abandonment of us. Where is he trying to say he has to lurk that is cool? Has he found a way to sneak into Burger King?

Cat Fabric

We hopped to the quilt store today, and found the nicest fabric in a kitty print.  We heard little squeeky shrieks when we purchased it.  Really, if Brother keeps it up, we will probably be PAID to take him back!  We wonder if he's thought of that?  We could get money for agreeing to put up with him again, and sparing others, money we could use for seed, fabric and other things he finds alarming for some reason.  Oh, and while at the quilt store we also learned of a canine quilter!  Surely if dogs have taken to plying a needle and thread, that means cats can be put onto the stitching line as well.  We really have to get Brother back.  We have a ton of work all ready for him!

Cat Spotted

Kiley Rabbit spotted a cat that looked alarmingly like Brother just a few houses away. We would be out there with nets, to check out this feline and possibly arrange for a capture, but apparently this is a full size kitty! We were sure Brother was going to be shrunk to kitten size. We were actually counting on it. What in the world will we do if he's managed to revert to his full size already? He will be totally unmanageable. At least at kitten size, we would all be larger than him, and could ensure cooperation.

Quilt

We got more fabric to replace some of the missing and shortened squares today. Really, we can't believe that Brother did this to us. What harm did he think our little quilt could possibly cause? We are happy to announce we've beaten him, though. The squares are all assembled, and it's just a matter of stitching everything together now.

Collars

We think we're going to go ahead and pick up a new collar for Brother when we recapture him. And he better not complain about the fit either. Since he failed to report back here and forced us to have him hunted down, he is not allowed to complain about any size issues with neckwear we pick out for him. He is lucky we don't poke him in prison stripes, and slap chains on his paws.

Fabric Hunting Tomorrow

We are planning a trip to find more fabric, so we can replace those squares brother shortened tomorrow. Hehehehehehehehe! Brother thought he was so clever, we are sure, hiding the squares and then sabotaging them in case we found them. Well, we will soon show him. We are sure to end up with a ton of additional fabric, in addition to the replacements for the sabotaged squares, which can only lead to loads more sewing. Hehehehehehehehe! Oh, and the human is talking about going to the country soon, which will give us tons and tons of sewing time! Brother will be so upset after he thought he had the perfect sabotage plan!

Found Them!

We found our missing squares, but somehow our brother managed to shorten some of them. We're sure he thought it was such a clever plan, to prevent quilt construction. Well, we hope he knows that we will have to go fabric hunting now, to find matching fabric to make some replacement squares! And wouldn't you know it, one of the stores when the nicest fabric selection just happens to be in the COUNTRY!

Catching Brother

Brother might have been SPOTTED! We'll have him back in custody soon, we are sure of it! And he better be prepared to turn over the location of our missing quilt squares too. We have gone through almost all of the boxes of fabric, and the squares are still missing! We're thinking of starting to dust them for kitty paw prints.

Missing Fabric

We are missing fabric! This is a disaster, and we know Brother is to blame. The human got out an old quilt pattern this week and we were going to finish it. The squares were cut and everything, and construction was zooming along, only for us to realize that a large number of the squares are missing! Missing squares that we were sure had been cut! Brother is to blame, we are sure of it. He probably hid the squares before he deserted us! Now we have to recapture him for sure, to make him tell us where he hid our property!

Brother Will Be So Unhappy!

We had a lovely time in the country this weekend. Oh, how unhappy Brother will be about it all. The humans took us out for breakfast yesterday morning, and then we did a bit of shopping. We got more lovely fabric to make clothing, and then the nicest book all about the wonders of the groundhog! And then today before we came home we met the nicest country bunny and a country chipmunk, a second cousin to our squirrel brother! Then we stopped by the store again on the way in, and got even more fabric. Really, it was just a wonderful weekend. If we had just been able to recapture brother it would have been absolutely perfect. But we will get him soon, never fear.

This Weekend

We're in the country for the weekend. Perhaps we will check out the dock and get some net tips while we're here. Surely fish aren't nearly as slippery as Brother.

Groundhogs

One of our groundhog siblings' friends came waddling over the other day. Apparently the groundhogs are still panicked over that lawsuit against them, and are seeking any hiding place they can find to avoid process servers. Brother will not be pleased at all, but we have opened up the pool house to them. And in return, the refugee groundhogs are going to help us with sitting our Brother trap. He will never see it coming!

Sorry We Didn't Post

Sorry we didn't post last night. We were hard at work on a plan to recapture Brother. We really think we've got him this time. You see, the fabric suppliers also supply yarn and thread, yarn and thread that weaves up very nicely into a net! We found something online with detailed directions on weaving a net suitable for kitten catching, and it is almost done! Soon we will pounce on Brother, net him, and drag him home where he belongs! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! We hope he has enjoyed his freedom, for it is almost over!

Keeping an Eye Out

We're loading up on carrots tonight, so our vision will be sharp tomorrow. The human is scheduled to go to a movie, and the theater is near several fabric suppliers. We're sure Brother isn't happy at all about this, and we fear he will try some act of sabotage, so we must be ready for him. Although, maybe if he shows up to sabotage something, we could pounce and capture him? Surely with all of us, one kitten couldn't escape!

Can We be Blamed?

Can we be blamed if anyone suffers ear damage due to the continued kitten shrieking? We got some more fabric today, including a print our leopard sisters love. We're not sure it we'll use it for swimsuits or just dresses, but either way, it was a great deal. Brother didn't take it well, though, and shrieks filled the air. We're surprised he hasn't taken to camping out at Walmart with a protest sign to object to their continued selling of these things to us. It would make capturing him so much easier if he would do that!

Saturday Happenings

We had a lovely Saturday, despite the screams, we're very happy to report. The humans let us hop along when they went to attend a relation's party, and we stopped at the store afterwards. We got a ton of fabric for new clothing. We've already cut out a new dress to stitch together, we are very happy to report, and the stitching for this pattern goes super fast so we should have it done in no time! Really, except for the screams, our day was excellent! We even heard of a pending fabric sale! You should have heard the kitty shrieks about that one!

Back from the Country

We're back from the country, and we had a lovely time. Hopefully we will go back again very, very soon, maybe even with our recaptured brother! We're sure we'll have him back in custody soon. Really, we don't know why he doesn't just give up and come back now. We made two new bear friends while we were in the country, bringing our sibling count to 764, and we found more material to cut up for clothing construction too. You should have heard the shrieks.

We're HERE!

We're in the country! We're in the country! You should have heard the kitten shrieks when we road off with the human! And worse, at least in Brother's opinion, we are sure, is that the human is thinking how nice it would be to stay here and work on her books without interruption. To work on BUNNY books!

The Country At Last!

We went to the country today, and a return trip is planned for tomorrow. Oh, you should have heard the shouting! Only one think has us a bit worried, though. There are a couple of graves, we believe for a cat and dog, located right next to the cottage. Anyway, their tombstones were tampered with during some construction our neighbor was doing. So now we're worried that a ghost visit might be triggered. Can't tampering with tombstones do that?

Bunny Books

We have high hopes that the publication of our bunny books is nigh. Which, of course, promises to lead to a kitten trying to stop publication and distribution, and to our swift recapture of our brother! Heehehehehehehehehe! Maybe we will pass out flyers to all cats, advertising the books, just to get Brother's attention. Soon we will have our books, and Brother back in custody! Oh, happy, happy day!

Very Sorry

We are very sorry for the shrieks today. We went shopping, and Brother was not pleased with what we bought. Really, what sort of disaster does he think almost twenty yards of fabric might cause? We're sure that whatever disaster he is envisioning, it isn't serious enough to call for such noise. We got a lovely striped patterned fabric that our zebra sister is in love with. Oh, maybe that's it. There's a minor flood over by the zoo right now, giving escaping zebras a clear path to sail right to our house. Maybe Brother thinks that fabric will attract them, and they might be headed here right this moment. Hmmmmm. If all of the zebras come, wanting clothes, I think we need to buy more fabric.

Outfits

We thought we would post some photos of the outfits that are making our brother scream so. We really do not have a clue what his problem is. We think he must need therapy.

Saturday Report

Do you think we ought to warn the churches to be on the alert for kitten attacks? Our brother isn't very happy with them at the moment. Our country trip was delayed due to rain, so we hopped to a few churches who were having sales instead and we found a ton of material for clothing construction. Needless to say, we heard a ton of kitty shrieks, and then there were the shouts when we met this homeless bear, who was visiting the church hoping to get some free honey from the food pantry. Naturally, we asked her to move in, bringing us up to 762 siblings! Such a lovely, lovely day. Too bad Brother doesn't agree.

Suitcase

The suitcase is out and packed for a potential trip! Oh, you should have heard the kitty screams when we hopped up on the boxes and drug it down for packing. We really don't think Brother has a right to complain, as long as he isn't living here, though. He escaped us. He has no right to try to dictate what we can our can't do in a house he isn't dwelling in at the moment, and he certainly has no right to try to say whether or not we can set a paw outside the door! If he really wants to prevent us from taking a trip, he ought to get his tail back here. We're sure if he returned, the human would want to stay at home with him for awhile. We don't know why he hasn't tried that.

The Country, We Hope

We have high hopes that we will get to pay a visit to the country this weekend, and from the kitty ranting we think our brother is very afraid this trip will happen as well. We really don't know what he thinks we might do that is so alarming in the country, although the tomato store might have new plants in, now that we think of it, and they always have such great prices too. Oh, and there are a couple of places with fabric too, but we just don't see what the fuss is all about. Brother escaped us and is hiding. We think that he should be legally denied the right to complain about us and what we're doing until he moves back in!

Poor Human

Our poor human. Her poor, poor leg is bothering her, to the point where she's been taking medicine to be able to sleep. Oh, and you should hear the kitty ranting. Brother seems to think that we are getting up to any number of things while our poor human is in a drugged slumber. We have no clue what he believes we might be doing that is so bad, but we heard yelling about sewing, fabric and we think he mentioned seed, too. That cat is so paranoid.

Plans, Lovely Plans

Our sister, Zenobia Zebra, has finally decided on the outfit she wants to wear. Really, it's taken her forever to pick something, so we were thrilled when she told us she has decided to go with the three piece skirt, jacket and camisole outfit, in suitable zebra colors. We just have to hop to the store tomorrow to pick up the material, and possibly material for our leopard sisters as well. We're so happy they finally picked something, after such a long debate, but you should have heard the kitty screams. Really, we don't think making clothing for one zebra is likely to lead to mass zebra escapes from the zoo and the construction of multiple zebra outfits, do you? Maybe we ought to buy some extra material just in case, though.

More Fabric and Clothes

Brother is not happy. Oh, the shouting and hissing we have heard today. We are sure he gave some kitties indigestion with his yelling when he spotted our big ears poking up from the back seat as we drove off this morning. It is his own fault, though. We told him what time he needed to be back if he wanted to spoil our plans, and he decided to sleep in! We had a lovely time today. We got almost six yards of fabric, and got the pieces for another dress cut out. And then we got a skirt and blouse sewed together! We just need to add elastic to the skirt, and make a camisole for it, and it will be perfect! A three piece outfit for under a dollar! Such a wonderful, wonderful deal and so easy to stitch up too. It's a shame Brother isn't happier for us.

Tomorrow

The kitty shrieks are going to deafen us. Really, Brother should be ashamed. We don't know how the kitties he is hiding with can stand all of that noise. He's taking our plans for tomorrow entirely the wrong way. We're paying a little visit up town tomorrow, and we will be alarmingly close to the genealogy archives. We might even hop in to look up a few obituaries! But then we might not have time since the humans want to visit that ill relation who makes her home near several fabric stores. Hmmmm, and the last time the humans visited her, the hospital even offered bear sized clothing. We think we like this relation. Heheheehehehe! Really, if Brother wants to stop this, and objects so much, though, he better get his tail back here soon. We leave at 8 in the morning to possibly visit the archives or a relative! He better hurry!

TeeHeeHeeHee!

Brother is going to be so sorry he tried fleeing us. Really, he is. We got more fabric for clothing today, and made patterns for two new outfits too. So many lovely, lovely clothes. We don't know why in the world Brother has an issue with our wardrobe plans. He really needs to hurry back, though. With all of the sewing that we are doing, we will have suitcases stuffed with our outfits, and there won't be room for a thing for him. We're hoping to visit the head bear later this summer, and Brother will be lucky if there is enough room for his food bowls in the suitcases at the rate he is going! He might be forced to eat out of hotel styrofoam dish!

Today's Car Update

We weren't able to go anywhere today, due to the humans needing something else done on the car. There was much snickering when the grandhuman had to drive the car off to the repair shop, and we are highly, highly suspicious. If only the repair place was willing to dust things for little kitty paw prints. We're sure they would find them all over the damaged parts. And then we could turn the prints over to the LAW! They could capture Brother for us, and we would just have to post his bail afterwards!

Human Relative

One of the human's relatives has taken ill, and you should have heard the kitty shriek when the humans got the call. Really, just because this human lives conveniently close to several stores carrying fabric, we don't think that gives him the right to declare the entire thing a plot to aid our sewing. Anyway, the humans might have to run up there to visit the ill relation tomorrow. We're packing our stuff now in anticipation, and considering packing our ears with cotton to block the kitty fussing. Really, Brother ran away from us! He has no right to complain so!

Human Car Troubles

The humans are having car troubles, and with the length of time the repairs are taking, we're starting to get a bit suspicious. We were hoping to go to the country tomorrow evening, and then maybe do some more fabric hunting, and now we can't. Also, this is keeping us from taking the car on a road trip to visit the head bear. Needless to say, we are very, very suspicious about the timing of the car troubles. We think we will urge the humans to have their mechanic check for little kitty paw prints. Surely if Brother is trying to sabotage us, he would have left his mark behind.

Snip Snip! Shriek Shriek!

We got material to make t-shirts today. There were shrieks as we cut out the patterns for them, and then the noise when we started cutting the fabric.... Really, does our brother want us to trot around naked? We have to capture him soon, we really do. Mother's Day is fast approaching, and we think it would break our poor human's heart not to have him here by then. We don't know why he doesn't just get back in here. If he wants to sabotage our sewing, you would think he would find it easier to accomplish from inside the house.

More Patterns

We cut out more patterns today, and we thought the kitty screams would deafen us. Honestly, we were tempted to stuff our ears with the cotton from the human's medicine bottles. Luckily she got a new bottle today, so there was a large cotton pile to choose from for ear stuffing purposes. Really, brother should be ashamed. We cut out a pattern for little pants, and then got the pieces together for four more dresses. Oh, and we had time to meet a new bear friend, too! We have 761 siblings!

Ribbons

We got two spools of ribbons to use for clothing construction today. Really, we're not sure why brother was upset about that. We thought he liked ribbon. We thought he might even come home to take a look and play with a bit of it. But he was shouting like we had committed some sort of crime by purchasing the ribbon. We really don't know what's the matter with that cat. You would think he doesn't want us to have nice things.

Lovely Day

We have had such a nice day, although the kitty screams really were annoying. Honestly, when we catch that cat, we are going to have to punish him for such shouting. It is hurting our large, floppy ears! Anyway, the human dropped in on a few churches, who were having sales today, and we got the loveliest deal on a large stack of fabric for more clothing at one sale, and then at the other sale, we ran into a homeless teddy pup and her bear friend! We naturally invited them to move in right away. We also found some ready made outfits in our size there, that we gathered up. We met another bear a bit later for a total of three new siblings today, bringing the sibling count up to 760! Needless to say, Brother in his hiding place was not happy, and that's not taking into account how he reacted to the human's new genealogy materials. What a lovely day. The only thing we didn't get done today was recapturing him!

Replaced Thread

We replaced our stolen yellow thread today, and while we were at it, gathered almost seven more yards of fabric for clothing construction. We showed off pictures of our outfits to the human at the cutting table, who was very, very impressed. We probably should have been watching a bit more, though, because while we were showing off the pictures, someone, and we suspect a cat, sabotaged the printer while it was cranking out our fabric price tag. Everything had to be remeasured, and redone. So, so annoying, and don't think we won't be punishing a kitty, should we find that one was to blame.

More Patterns

We drew up a pattern for the cutest shirt last night, and we're planning to make one for a ruffled tunic dress too. We're sure our hopeful new sister kitty will be so eager to move in here, when she hears about all of the lovely, lovely wardrobe options. And we have yards and yards of fabric in all colors, so she will have her pick of wardrobe looks. Well, the yellow might be a problem, seeing as our yellow spool of thread has gone missing, but the other colors are wide open. We expect a sister in no time, and then Brother will show up to complain, and we'll be able to grab him too! Why didn't we think of this before?

We've Decided

We have decided we have been making a strategic error in our plans to recapture our brother. We want another kitty sibling, preferably a sister kitten, to move in with him, but we have focused on snagging Brother first. We've now decided that might be a mistake. If we look for a nice girl kitten, and convince her to move in first, and lavish her with attention, it will surely upset that naughty brother, and send him rushing over to complain. And then we will have him for sure, and a sister to boot, just like we wanted! We think we now have the perfect plan! Perhaps we will offer a custom made wardrobe for a kitten tomorrow. That will surely lure a sister kitten to our doorstep in no time!

More Kitty Screams

We hope the postal service is insured. The human copied some genealogy material today, and has it in an envelope, all ready to mail off to a cousin. She is hopeful that this will lead the cousin to wanting to buy some of her genealogy books, the ones that gave brother nightmares. Brother shrieked, from his hiding place, with each click of the copy machine. And now we fear for the mailman, we really do. Who knows what brother might be plotting, to intercept this piece of mail. Do you think we ought to offer the mailman our protection?

Kittens

We just saw a post, looking for people to bottlefeed an excess supply of kittens! And the place where they are is just a short hop away, too. Do you suppose that is a good sign? The humans who are dealing with these kittens sound desperate. Surely if they are desperate, they would not turn away a batch of rabbits, eager to assist with feeding. Feeding kittens. Perhaps we can slip vegetable juice into their bottles, and convert them!

Protecting Thread

We have set up traps around the thread boxes. We are sure that our brother snatched our good yellow thread, and we are also sure that he is even now plotting to get his paws on our spool of orange thread. First he deserts us, and now he steals our thread. He should be ashamed, and don't think we won't turn him in to Santa for thread theft. The traps should protect the rest of our thread spools, though, and with any luck will snare that brother in the bargain. And we ought to leave him in the trap for awhile once we catch him, to teach him a lesson! Really, stealing thread. What is his problem with our having nice clothing?

More Sewing

We are missing thread. More specifically, a spool of yellow thread has vanished. We're sure we had yellow thread but when we went to gather to spool for sewing purposes, it was gone from its assigned box. And now we are hearing little kitty snickers! That brother snuck in, possibly through an air vent, and snatched our thread! We've been forced to use a creamy ivory instead of yellow!

Teddy Kitty

Brother wasn't happy that a teddy kitty moved in today. Really, he has no right to object to our inviting kitties of our species to come here to live after how he deserted us, and refuses to move back in, but it didn't stop the little kitty shrieks as the teddy kitty hopped in the car. She's very nice, and immigrant kitty from Japan. She's currently soaking, and getting her fur all nice and clean. We're up to 757 siblings!

Cards

Really, if he is going to scream so, brother might as well get himself back home. We're sure he's offending other cats everywhere with his shouting. You should have heard the shrieks when we purchased a set of four bunny themed card games this afternoon. Bunny Rummy, Old Bunny, Go Chick, Crazy Eggs! Such lovely rabbit appropriate games. But they would be so much better if we had a cat to play with us!

The Mail

The mailman brought the human a big envelope stuffed with genealogy material today. Needless to say, we heard a ton of little kitty shrieks when the mailman came trotting around and dropped that off. We're thinking of waiting outside to have a chat with the mailman tomorrow. We're sure, after his delivery of such material, that Brother will try to punish him. Do you think if we alert him to the potential for kitten attacks that he might be able to capture our brother for us?

New Siblings

Brother is so unhappy, but really after how he abandoned us, and refuses to return home where he belongs, we don't think he has a right to complain. We were out today, looking for more fabric, and we passed by a homeless shelter. They sometimes offer material, so we popped in to take a look, and wouldn't know you it, there were four homeless bears there. They promptly asked to move in, and really, what else could we say but yes? We're up to 756 siblings. Oh, you should have heard the kitty shriek when they jumped in the car!

Sewing

The first of our new outfits is almost done, and we couldn't be happier. Of course, we heard a little kitty shriek with each stitch. Honestly, we don't know why brother doesn't give up and come home. At least if he were in HERE he could try hiding our thread and preventing the clothing construction he seems to find so upsetting. Hmmmmm. Thread. There's an idea. Maybe we could leave a spool sitting out, and try to trap him that way!

Leader's Visit

At least our leader was understanding when he hopped around today. We were so sure he would be upset with us, over our total failure to capture that cat, but he didn't punish us, and allowed us a sack of seed. He said he would be back soon, though, and he expects to see a cat here when he returns. So Brother's recapture must be sped up accordingly. We don't know what our leader will do if that cat evades us much longer.

Head Bunny

Just a few more hours until the head bunny comes hopping around. We don't know how we're going to explain to him that brother isn't here yet. Despite our efforts, that cat has totally eluded us, and avoided recapture for over two months. It's so embarrassing. We were sure we would have him back before the Head Bunny hopped around and he's still on the loose. He probably pulled this little trick, and is hiding, just to make us look bad to our leader. When the Head Bunny finds out that we have failed at something that should be simple like capturing brother, he will be so disappointed. And what if he takes back our gifts of SEED?

Car

We're looking at taking the car to visit the head bear, and really, brother will be very sorry if we are forced into that. On the bus, he could have had a seat of his own, or shared with our hopeful new kitty sibling. But if we are forced to take the car, well, he'll be sharing with US! We can see it now, brother crammed into a seatbelt with multiple bears, and the car doesn't offer bathroom facilities like the bus, we hope he knows, so he will be forced to cross his paws and wait! He will be so sorry for trying to sabotage our trip, that is for sure. Just wait!

Terrible News

Our planned trip to visit the head bear has met with disaster. There's been an issue with the bus, and so it looks like our trip to visit the head bear isn't going to happen. Our poor human spent the afternoon in tears, and we know we heard a kitty laughing somewhere. Really, brother ought to be ashamed of himself, gloating about the failure of our trip. It was to his benefit for this to happen too, we hope he knows. If the head bear liked our human, she might have hired her to write bear stuff, which would have provided more money for KITTY stuff! Brother never thinks things through.

Snow Started

The snow started a bit ago, and we are sure there is already an inch out there. The polar bears are in a tizzy, and our poor groundhog brother and sister are considering going into hiding. They're sure the polar bears hold them to blame for the snow, and are plotting to drag them and any groundhog they can find to court for causing it. Really, we blame the weatherman for this, though. He called for a DUSTING of snow! An inch is not a dusting! He obviously failed math.

Thank Goodness

Thank goodness we bought that piece of fleece yesterday, and now we're wishing we had purchased more. The weather forecast is calling for snow and the polar bears are in a panic, demanding warm clothing and blankets right away. They're looking suspiciously at the groundhogs too, and we think we heard them muttering a bit ago about checking, to see if they could join the state of Ohio in taking the groundhog to court for the continuing winter weather. Can they do that?

More Screams

We got some more fabric today, while our human was shopping for her new glasses. Oh, there were so many lovely sales on it. We were able to gather yards and yards for the construction of new outfits, including material for construction of fleecy clothing for the polar bears. We kept hearing screams with each snip of the scissors. Really, Brother ought to behave himself. It's a wonder that our fabric didn't end up horribly miscut due to him distracting the clerk with his shouting.

Groundhog Troubles

We have just learned that the state of Ohio is trying to take a groundhog to court over their failure to accurately predict the weather and the continuing absence of spring. Now our groundhog siblings are in a panic over this, sure that widespread persecution of the groundhog is nigh. They're making plans to open up a refuge in the poolhouse for poor, innocent persecuted groundhogs to flee to in order to escape the law. Really, we don't know what those people are thinking, going after the groundhogs. Why don't they go after the humans who forecast the weather instead? At least the groundhogs don't gloat nearly as much about various predictions as them.

Head Bunny's Coming

The head bunny will be hopping by in a little over a week and our pesky brother still isn't back! How annoying! If he doesn't get his pointy ears back here soon, we're going to have to explain to our leader how he escaped, which will be more than a bit embarrassing. Really, it's been two months, and we haven't been able to recapture him. We'll be totally humiliated if our leader ever learns that cat has dodged us for so long. He's probably laughing about it now, and the trouble he is going to cause us.

Book

Oh, you should have HEARD the screams a bit ago. We were checking the library ebook site, and we found

THIS

book. A book all about how to outsmart cats and make them do what you want. A truly wonderful volume if ever there was one. Our brother, wherever he is hiding, started screaming the second we clicked on it. Heheheheeheheheheheheheehe. Perhaps if we threaten to borrow it, he'll come racing back here to block the internet before it can download!

Poor Mountain Bears

Those poor mountain bears. Some of them lost their dens a few days ago due to a fire. Frankly, we're not sure if we should be suspicious of the timing or not. Betsy went to the quilt show with all of us on Saturday, and we suspect she popped to a few dens while we were gathering fabric. But we don't think the fire started until Sunday, and we know Betsy was stuffing herself with pizza then. With a day's delay, she couldn't be held to blame for burning the bears' homes down, right? She did tamper with their clocks, turning them from Half past April to a quarter after May, but they're the wind-up kind, so there's no fire danger there.

Just Occurred to Us

It just occurred to us that there are a number of kitties who live at the pizza place where our human was crippled oh so many years ago, and we suspect several of them might be black cats. Now, we're not prejudiced against ebony colored felines, but the fact is that some cats of that color do delight in causing bad luck. What if that's what led to our poor human's injury? If we find out it is their fault, do you think it's too late to take the cats to court? Really, listening to the human moaning in pain is rather awful, and those cats shouldn't get away with causing such terrible luck. We don't know why the good black cats haven't done something about them.

Packing

We've got to get serious about planning our packing. It will be time to head off to see the head bear before you know it, and we're not entirely sure of what to take. Having to stuff clothing for 752 of us into suitcases is going to be a complicated job, that's for sure, and to make things more difficult, the polar bears are wanting to pack all of their blankets. And material for constructing quilts in case the blankets prove inadequate. Maybe we ought to ask the head bunny to bring more suitcases when he comes hopping down the Bunny Trail in a few weeks. We think we're going to need them. And we haven't figured out what to pack for Brother!

Quilt Show Report

We had a lovely time at the quilt show today, but really, Brother is going to give himself laryngitis if he keeps screaming so. We found the nicest fat quarter in an asparagus print, and on sale too, but as we checked out we heard the most annoying kitty shriek. Very annoying. Anyway, hopefully we will have brother back soon. The Burger King kitties tried to capture him for return to us earlier, but he managed to wrap his paws around the edge of a trash bin, and couldn't be pulled free. We don't need another trash bin, so we told them to wait a bit, until he falls asleep or something and lets go. Really, he's embarrassing.

Book Sale

The human visited the book sale today, instead of tomorrow, so she wouldn't have to worry about delays in getting to the quilt viewing. It was a considerable distance, but we're sure we heard a faint little kitty scream while the human was gathering books. Really, we don't know why brother was so upset. There was just one quilt book in the lot. That's not too bad, right? Oh, and when we got home, there was another message from the head bear. We just can't wait to visit the home of the bears! Now if we could only capture Brother and our new sibling. It's so annoying not to have them here. We saw the cutest shirts for felines today and couldn't make purchases because we don't know our brother's size!

Quilt Show and Book Sale

This weekend is going to be lovely, truly wonderful. Not only is it time for the quilt show, but the giant book sale is this weekend too. Oh, our brother was truly miserable every time those events rolled around. He kept saying they gave us bad ideas and encouraged the polar bears. Not to mention the uptick in crime due to Betsy robbing the mountain bears and the hotel buffet. Brother will surely have a screaming fit this weekend, which will make his capture so much easier. We can't wait. And we can't wait to get more books and fabric. We need so many more clothes for our trip to visit the head bear. We want to look our best for her.

Note Left

The kitties at Burger King were sulking due to the poor choice of bait those humans put of for them. They were all lurking in their house. The humans who lived their either moved, or perhaps met a tragic demise and thanks to a few strategic laws, the cats have been able to claim the property. We stuck a note, asking them to turn our brother in, in their mailbox. Hopefully they'll rat him out soon.

Hanging Sign

The human was at a movie today, so we're going to have to wait until tomorrow to hang up that sign urging the other kitties to turn our brother in. Oh, we can't wait! We're sure those Burger King kitties will be happy to report him, and turn him over to us where he belongs in return for an amusement park trip. We bet there are a ton of kitty coasters there, and possibly a bouncy nap house too. The kitties will have a blast, and we will get Brother back. Honestly, the nerve of him hiding from us for so long.

We'll Get Him

We have made the perfect plan to capture our brother. We went to AAA today, and got material on the land of the head bear, and wouldn't you know it, they have an amusement park for his kind there. You would think being able to tour an amusement park would be enough to lure that kitty back, but it hasn't worked so far. So, we're going to hang up a sign at Burger King, offering a free trip and park tickets to the first kitty who turns our brother in. He'll be handed over in no time!

Still Not Here

Brother is still not here. Really, we are getting so ticked at him for hiding like this. We know he's around. We heard him shriek when the human looked at luggage tags for our trip to see the head bear this afternoon. We don't know why he's being so difficult about returning home. He's not going to have any time to pack at this rate. Maybe we will get a burger tomorrow, and use it to set a trap for him. Obviously, the humans' attempts at trapping failed spectacularly.

Trap Report

No sign of brother yet. Hopefully he's in a trap somewhere that the humans drug off before we could check, and will show up tomorrow, but we're a little concerned that they didn't use the proper bait. Really, we don't know what the humans who set those traps were thinking. Obviously they have little trapping experience, and really should have consulted with an expert like Betsy Bear before poking the traps out and hoping for the best. They hoped to capture kitties who have made Burger King their home and spend their days feasting on cheeseburgers, fries, and large shakes. but do they put a single burger in the traps? Or a single piece of cheese? No, they go for dry cereal! It's a wonder they caught a single kitty with that sort of bait.

Traps Are Out

The kitty traps are out, but we are a bit concerned about how late they set them. What if all of the kitties are already in their beds snoozing? We have tried to evangelize to these kitties, on the virtues of a life of work, but they still seem more than a bit slothful and lazy. What if they turned in early?

Trapping

We can't wait until those humans capture our brother for us. Really, we're so ashamed of that cat, and don't think we won't tell the other kitties he's been hanging about with about all of this too. He ought to be ashamed. And we hope he knows he has no one to blame but himself for the fact we stumbled across a potential illustrator for the bunny and bear books while we were trying to hunt him down online. If he had gotten himself back here with a friend or two, we would never have been looking on Craigslist, and wouldn't have seen the illustrator.

Brother's Doomed

Brother's doomed. A bunch of humans are arranging to capture kitties this weekend to fix their little wagons. They're going to sit out traps for them and everything. The humans are going to do our work for us! All we will have to do is to hop around and check the traps for Brother bright and early Saturday morning! Then we will just have to pull him out and drag him home! Really, he ought to be ashamed of himself, hiding like this and having to be trapped. You would think he doesn't like us the way he's acting.

Mountains

In a distraction from our brother hunt, we are planning a little trip to the mountains in a week or so. There's a quilt event the polar bears are dying to attend. You might recall our brother's complaints about it for the last couple of years. Maybe we'll be able to get some ideas for cute clothing while there, or better yet, visit one of the stores who stocks clothing for our kind. Really, Brother better get home now. If he waits much longer, there won't be a inch of luggage space left, and then what will he do?

Luggage and Brother

Okay, we are getting annoyed here. Brother really ought to be back by now, and yet he is staying in hiding. And he is supposed to bring a friend to be our new sibling too! Really, that poor other kitty. It is being denied a home, and what if it's a girl kitty? Then she's being denied the chance to have a nice wardrobe! And what about our trip? If Brother and our new sibling don't get here soon, all of the suitcase space will be claimed, and then what will they do? They certainly can't vacation NAKED!

Church Today

Church was lovely today, and we're sure that our brother was very displeased about that. Our human met Cousin Berta, we're happy to say. She was very nice, and the human's hoping to call her next week to gather more information and possibly pictures. We sense the family tree growing. Really, we don't know why Brother isn't showing up to threaten it with an axe. Not that little kitten paws could do much damage.

Trip

Brother isn't going to be happy at all. The human has done more looking for our trip to visit the head bear today, and is currently debating the best hotel. Oh, we just can't wait to visit the leader of all bears! Brother ought to get himself home right this minute. We swear, he will not be able to get an inch of luggage space if he doesn't hurry. We wonder if we ought to book some extra seats for the return trip. We're sure we'll meet lots of new friends in the home of the bears, and we would hate for their ride home with us to be too cramped.

More Patterns

We cut out the pattern for the polar bears' fleecy jacket today, and we know we heard kitty screams with each snip of the scissors on the paper as we made our pattern. Brother must be lurking close by. Really, we don't know why he doesn't just come home. A rabbit is always awake, so he has no right to claim that there wasn't someone available to open the door for him. At the rate he is going, he is going to have to vacation NAKED!

Sewing

We're going to start stitching up some clothes tomorrow, after we go out to get some more fabric. The polar bears heard of our planned wardrobe construction plans, and now they are insisting that warm, fleecy outfits be made for them as well. We think we might do some clothing construction for that pesky brother too. We can just baste it, and then adjust the size after his capture. Really, with the trouble he's been causing, though, it would serve him right if we left out the tail hole!

Brother Update

Still no sign of that pesky brother, although we're sure we heard a kitty shouting when we hopped to the store today and got some lovely fabric to construct clothing. Perhaps he's following us around. Well, if he is, we can't wait to see what will happen when we hop to the library tomorrow. Perhaps he will try waiting at the door to pounce on us when we hop out and snatch our books. If so, we will just have to slip out through the bookdrop and net him!

Luggage

We've been looking for luggage for our trip, and it turns out the bear store offers the cutest little suitcases.

You know, since he's causing so much trouble, hiding, and not trotting home like he should, we think we'll make our brother use one of those suitcases, and he can share the luggage space with a few bears too! Really, he is in so much trouble when we catch him, and we're sure his capture is nigh. We heard him scream again when another bunny hopped in this afternoon, raising the sibling count to 752, so we're sure we'll just have to follow our big ears to him.

Trip Planning

Oh, our brother is not happy at all. The human wrote up a letter to send to the head bear, announcing our planned trip, and trying to schedule a visit. We keep hearing this little kitty voice off in the distance squeaking no with every word she typed. Really, we don't know what our brother's problem is with our vacation plans, but at least his objections will hopefully make him easy to track down. We don't know why he doesn't just give up and come home where he belongs.

Tickets Booked

The tickets to visit the head bear have been booked. We heard a kitty shriek as we clicked to purchase the tickets and we keep hearing a squeaky kitty voice chanting no, no, no. Brother is going to be so easy to catch now. We just have to follow our ears. Really, he should just give up. If he doesn't get back here soon, he's not going to have time to buy a suitcase, and he will have to share luggage space with the bears!

Saturday Update

Still no brother. Really, when we hunt him down, he is going to be in so much trouble. We're sure he has a kitten friend, wherever he has gotten himself to, that would love a nice home and because he is stubbornly hiding, that kitty is being denied. Really, they ought to sue him, and don't think we won't tell on him either. The human is looking at definite dates for visiting the head bear, so brother's time to trot back here is limited. He should just give up and return now before he ends up in more trouble.

Today's Report

The human spent the night in tears, and today was only slightly better. Really, we blame our brother for this. If he had gotten himself back here, along with a kitty friend, we wouldn't be having to hunt him down right now, and there wouldn't be anything the grandhuman could do about the matter. He ought to be so ashamed of himself, and he's denying another kitty a lovely home, as if tormenting our human wasn't bad enough!

Sniff

Sniff, sniff, sniff. It looks like our planned trip to visit the head bear is falling apart, and now the grandhuman has put a halt to our search for our brother too. Our poor human is in hysterical tears at the moment. And just when we were sure that we had finally located our pesky brother too. There's a kitten on Craigslist who looks just like him and he has a sister kitty that is just adorable. Human was so happy and now she can't stop sobbing again.

Bus Deal

The human was checking the bus site today, and found a wonderful deal on tickets to visit the birthplace of the bears. The only issue is the continuing absence of our brother. How can we book tickets and pack when he's still on the loose? We won't know what size of clothing to pack for him! We won't know if we should pack extra earbows if the kitty friend we want to move in with him is a girl! He's causing horrible problems so he can just get himself back home with a friend this instant! Really, he'll like visiting the home of the bears once he gets there! We're sure the head bear is wonderful!

Newspaper

Our brother only has himself to blame, we hope he knows. If he had got himself back here, he could have possibly hidden the newspaper, and saved himself any amount of trouble. Too late now, though, and we do hope that he likes the kitty sized swim trunks. It seems that the place our brother visited on Christmas Day, the one where he was robbed of his tummy fur, had an article in the paper today. There were lovely pictures and everything, showing a cat SWIMMING! They say swimming is good for kitties! And we just happen to have a lovely swimming pool, all ready to dive into, once the pool repairman shows up. We do hope Brother takes to the water. And he should remember if he had arrived earlier, he could have tried to prevent this.
