Today's Happy News

Sorry for anyone who is now suffering ear pain and possible hearing loss due to the loud shrieks.  Brother didn't take our happy news well at all.  We hopped to the mountains today and met a batch of bears in need of homes, six of them total, and invited them to move in.  We are now up to 846 siblings. And then on the way home we hopped by the fabric store and submitted our names to offer classes in teddy related sewing.  We think the head of the education department was impressed with us, and we're already hard at work starting to plan our class materials, so we will be ready when we get the phone call.  But Brother is not taking it well.  We're very sorry about that.  We recommend stuffing your ears for a bit to block the shouts.

Discounts

Cats are being advertised for fifty percent off this month!  We were so right to wait to recapture that rotten brother!  Now he's on SALE!  But will the price go lower, that's what we're wondering.  What if they mark brother's price down to seventy-five percent, or better, what if they offer us cash to take him off their hands if we just wait a bit?  We have to think about this.  We don't want to recapture him prematurely, when we could profit by a bit more waiting.

Sorry

Sorry we didn't post last night.  Brother attempted sabotage once more and we were without internet access for a bit.  So, so annoying.  Anyway, we have high hopes for recapturing him next month.  They're supposed to be having a lot of events to find homes for felines and offering discounts if you take one.  We expect Brother to be steeply discounted, if they don't offer money for someone to take him off their hands.  It's probably good we've delayed recapturing him, now that we know about the June cat discounting.  After the trouble Brother has caused, he better be discounted, and deeply discounted at that!

Education Plans

We got a phone number today, for who we should call in our quest to become educators of teddy sewing skills.  Sorry if the resulting kitty shriek hurt anyone's ears too much.Really, we're not sure what Brother finds so upsetting about our teaching humans to make clothing for teddies.  You would think he would like the notion of a few more of us being dressed and not wandering about in our bare fur.

Back

The internet is back up and the new modem arrived, so Brother's attempt to keep us offline has been undone, we are pleased to announce.  Honestly, just for the trouble he has caused us, we ought to adopt  a few more siblings than planned when we hop to the mountains!

Internet's Down!

The Internet is down if anyone wondered where we were last night. We're having to post this from Burger King. Really, we don't know what in the world happened, but we are suspicious Brother could have been involved, possibly in an attempt to keep us from downloading those certificates we have for adopting more siblings. Anyway, our access will be spotty for a bit. Hope our new modem comes soon!

Monday's Shrieks

Sorry for anyone disturbed by annoying kitty shrieks while you were trying to enjoy your holiday. We got a few more packets of patterns and fabric in anticipation of teaching a teddy sewing class and brother was not pleased.  We're planning on calling the fabric store maybe on Wednesday to see how to sign up to do classes. Paws crossed he does not figure out how to destroy the phone before then.

Stayed Home

We stayed home today, well, we didn't go to the mountains anyway.  We did pay a little visit to the fabric store though, and they had the nicest sign up, looking for people to teach classes for them in any hobbies they might be willing to share.  So now we're thinking of offering to host a class on sewing for teddies!  If we do become educators, we just hope that Brother's shrieks don't disrupt our classes.

Mountains We Hope

We so hope we're going to get to hop to the mountains tomorrow.  If you hear a bunch of shouts in the morning, you will know the trip went as planned. Brother isn't happy about us being near graveyards with the human.  He says such things can only lead to growth of the family tree and we have lovely coupons and gift cards to help us adopt more teddy siblings as well.  Here's hoping we can get up there!

Sorry for the Shoutss

We're sorry if the shouting disturbed anyone this evening.  We spotted the nicest bunny hopping about outside and we might have asked if he would like to move in and become a house bunny.  He hasn't agreed yet, but we mentioned a refrigerator packed with vegetables to try to tempt him, so we are hopeful.  Brother did not take it well at all though, so you can guess what the shouts were about.

Weekend Plans

The humans are thinking of going to the mountains for the weekend after the stress they have gone through but we're not entirely sure that is a good thing with the human bathing in honey like she has been.  Is it really fair to make those poor mountain bears smell honey they can't have, especially since Betsy will probably use their distraction by the human's honey odor to rob their dens of any honey she can find.

Human Continues Bathing in Honey

The honey baths are continuing and we don't know how we will ever sleep.  Betsy keeps moving on the bed all night and between that and the licking noises, it is so hard to snooze.  Does anyone have any suggestions for something to do, besides tying her up?  The human likes the honey and doesn't seem likely to stop bathing with it.

Honey Baths

The human is continuing with her honey baths, and Betsy is continuing to look at her suspiciously.  We are getting very concerned about this, and the noise Betsy makes moving about on the bed while we are trying to sleep and that annoying licking noise is so disturbing.  Do you think we ought to tie her up at night to control her?

Honey

We hopped to the food co-op to fill a jar with honey for the human's bathing pleasure today. We're still not sure that bathing in honey while living in the same area as Betsy Bear is a good idea but the human seems to enjoy it, so we wanted to help her out.  It seems that the co-op's giant honey vat was low when we were filling our jar, though, because it took much longer than expected to fill the jar up. Do you think we should worry Betsy might have raided them?

Human's Nightly Honey Bath

The human used the honey again tonight, and now Betsy is looking at her funny, and we are getting very worried.  Do you think some of us should try to stay awake tonight in case Betsy tries something? Although really we're not sure how we would ever get to sleep with the suspicious sounds of licking anyway.

Death

We're sorry but our posts might be a bit short for the next few days.  The humans have had a death in the family and as a result we might not be able to post as frequently due to needing to assist them.  Poor humans are very sad so please keep them in your thoughts, okay?

Continuing Honey Use

The human is continuing using that honey mix to treat her skin problem, and we're getting more than a bit concerned about how Betsy is looking at her.  It was dark, and we were all trying to sleep, but we swear we heard Betsy moving about on the bed last night after the human's first honey soak, and then something that sounded seriously like LICKING!  A licking noise and our poor human, we are very worried!  What if Betsy gets the idea to do something else besides licking after the human has soaked in honey for a second day?

Mountain Plans Changed

The human wasn't feeling well this afternoon so we decided to stay at home.  We're a bit concerned tonight, though. The human has a skin irritation that's bothering her, and to deal with it, she decided to apply a honey body mask, made with fresh honey out of a little bear shaped bottle.  The human bathed in honey, and now we don't like the way Betsy Bear is looking at her at all.  How worried do you think we should be?

Mountains

We're thinking about hopping to the mountains tomorrow afternoon, so the humans can visit a few cemeteries. And there goes Brother shrieking about how cemetery visits will only lead to tree growth and to keep our big paws out of the car.  Very annoying.  Anyway, do you think we ought to try to warn the poor mountain bears now?  Because Betsy Bear is sure to accompany us on this trip if we go and that never ends well for them.

Blocking Texts

Does anyone know how we can block the annoying dinging text noise?  We need to help the human make calls to grow the family tree tomorrow and it will be so annoying if we're interrupted every five seconds by texts from Brother insisting we get off of the phone at once.

So Sorry

We're really sorry for the shrieks today.  The new genealogy program is working very well, and we've already got sixteen people moved over into it.  It really makes listing notes and sources so much easier and this is going to make books fly once we have everyone.  We can even attack photos and documents and we think include them in books, which will be very fun.  But Brother does not agree and he's threatening to sue the software company and the office supply store who dared to sell us this program for encouraging the growth of a monster tree and endangering us all.  So we apologize once more for the shrieks and we hope you were able to protect your ears in time.

Protect Your Ears

We'ver very sorry if anyone was just awakened by the loud kitty shrieks just now.  The human's new genealogy software was just installed, the software that will make assembling genealogy books a breeze and can only lead to rapid growth of the family tree.  Brother did not take it well.  First we got angry texts demanding to know why he was hearing us on the computer and why did it sound like we were installing something, and then the shrieks started when he figured out it was the genealogy software.  We are anticipating even worse shrieks when we transfer the human's current text file information into the program tomorrow.  You should probably protect your ears tonight if you don't want an early wake-up call.

This Weekend

It was baking hot this morning so the humans decided not to go to the country.  Brother was pleased for barely five seconds because they decided to go to several bookstores instead and there is much discussion currently occurring about the visiting of graveyards in the future. And the human got a new program to work on her family tree with. Brother is not pleased with that either.  So annoying.

Siblings Today

We had to hop out this morning to help the human drop off some stuff for an ill relative and on the way home we happened to drop by the local homeless shelter.  We met the nicest teddy pup and a koala, both in need of homes.  I think you can guess what happened.  We now have 840 siblings.  And Brother hasn't stopped shouting about it since we invited them to move in.

Continued Gift Certificate Earnings

We're happy to say we're already halfway to earning another gift certificate, possibly for either wood or plants.  We're just such heard working rabbits.  It's a shame Brother doesn't appreciate our industry more.  Please continue to guard your ears from the kitty fits he keeps pitching.

We're Such Good Bunnies

We're really such good bunnies, some of the best rabbits around.  We earned ten dollars today, to either finance plants or wood to help fix up the country cottage, or perhaps both.  Brother was not pleased and is threatening the home improvement store with a lawsuit should they let us hop in their doors and make purchases.

Cover Your Ears

We recommend people cover their ears now to protect their hearing from the impending kitty shriek fest.  We might have a long weekend in the country scheduled, and Brother is not taking it well.  Such an annoying feline he is.  Protect your ears now, before it is too late!

Swimming Pool Problem

We don't know how Brother pulled this off, but the swimming pool repair may be delayed due to illness in the repairman's family.  Can he be punished severely for that, causing some poor human to take ill just to keep us from having a pool party?

Had a Great Time

The movie was lovely and we got a nice little bucket we can use for hauling vegetables, when it isn't holding popcorn.  Brother was not pleased about this purchase and is not accusing the theater of encouraging gardening. Really, we're almost embarrassed that people might figure out we're related to him, with how he complains so.

Hopping to a Film

We're planning to hop to a film tomorrow and Brother isn't happy.  There are a number of teddies who are connected to this film and he is sure if we see it, it will only lead to us inviting more siblings to move in.  And what is wrong with that, since he refuses to move back in?

Pool

Due to the impending rain we ended up staying home, but that didn't reduce Brother's annoyance we are happy to report because the pool repairman showed up this evening and plans have been made for the repair and opening of the swimming pool, possibly as early as this weekend.  We're thinking about writing out invitations for our first pool party now, to be prepared.  We can't wait to hop in, and our penguin siblings are thrilled as well, and are dying to have all of their fellow penguins over for a party.  And there Brother goes again shrieking and demanding we back away from the pool.  He's really so annoying.

This Afternoon's Shouts

One of the human's relations just had a baby and Brother is up in arms, both because the family tree just sprouted a new limb and because the humans are talking about visiting this child.  The family happens to live near the country cottage and spending the night there after this visit is a possibility.  We will know tomorrow but we are hopeful and Brother is complaining.

Tonight's Brother Complaints

We might have found a way to get internet access in the country, the lack thereof which was our one problem with it.  Brother is not happy and is now wanting to take the cell phone industry to court.  And we have also found out how to adjust some patterns we picked up this weekend to fit us.  And once we are able to adjust these patterns, then it will be a snap to adjust about a million more.  We are seeing a ton of clothing in our future.  And a ton of complaints from that cat, we are afraid.

Gift Certificates

Just earned another gift certificate for more siblings, but we're not sure if they will be of the teddy kind or not yet.  Either way, Brother is not happy about it, which makes us highly happy, no matter what species our new sibling ends up being.  We do hope it is a bunny of whatever kind, though.  We could always use more bunnies in the house.

Today's Trip

We hopped to the country today and we would like to apologize to anyone who had their hearing harmed as a result of the ensuing shrieks.  The humans might have been talking about a long country visit while they were us there, and Brother is not happy about it.  You know, maybe we could recapture him before this visit so he will have to go WITH us!  Wouldn't that just serve him right!

Comic Show

We went to the comic show today and got lots of compliments on our clothing.  Brother was not happy to hear people praising our outfits and there was much shouting about how they should stop encouraging us at once because it can only lead to more sewing.  He ought to be ashamed.

Shouts

Sorry for anyone annoyed by Brother shouting this afternoon.  He might have heard us counting the funds that could lead to the adoption of a fleshy bunny sibling and he isn't pleased.  He keeps yelling for us to stop earning money right away and not to even think of letting a rabbit move into the house.  So, so annoying!

Just Realized

We just realized that we could possibly get money to get a free sibling with the points thing we have been doing to get books for the human and lovely teddy siblings.  A free sibling.  If we raise the funds for a free sibling then we ought to be able to select a nice BUNNY not that terrible Brother don't you think?  And won't it serve him right.

This Weekend

We're debating what to do this weekend.  We were planning to hop to the country, but now the human has heard of a comic convention and we're thinking of going to that instead.  We have some siblings with comic related costumes who would love to show off, but we're not sure yet.

Brother Shrieks

Sorry for the shrieks this afternoon.  The teddy adoption center sent out a letter with pictures of teddies needing good homes as well as a coupon to make the adoption more affordable.  Brother was not happy and is now threatening to take the mailman to court for delivering dangerous literature.

Human Sobbing

The human was looking at pictures of kitties trying to find homes today and even though we kept looking with her and trying to point out non-evil looking kitties who we are sure would be lovely siblings, she ended up bursting into tears over that rotten brother and his desertion.  Really, he should be so ashamed, and now with how she's feeling, there's a chance she won't want to try again with another kitty, a possibly GOOD kitty, so thanks to Brother's antics and lovely feline might be denied a wonderful home and loving siblings.

Poor Human

The poor human was in pain today so we had to stay home instead of hopping out to the bus stop.  It was kind of annoying because we really had our hopes for recapturing Brother up but what else could we do?  Here's hoping the human's leg starts to behave so we can possibly hop out on Sunday.  Or if it doesn't, maybe we can go hunting that pesky cat after she has to limp to the doctor on Tuesday perhaps.

Bee Escape

Did everyone hear about the 14 million bees who escaped and are flying around free out in Washington?  The claim is that they were on their way to work on a farm pollinating blueberries but we are suspicious.  What if these bees were on their way to be enslaved in the honey mines and they rioted?  Betsy has been complaining since she heard the news about the nerve of those bees, so we are definitely suspicious of this incident.

Giant Bunny

Sorry about the loud shrieking noise.  We hope it didn't hurt anyone's ears too much.  We just found the most wonderful thing.  There is a giant bunny out there, who is four feet long, and he is happily reproducing and creating more giant bunnies even as we speak.  We think we have just found the perfect new sibling!  He looks so cuddly and soft and of course he's a rabbit so he should be industrious as well.  The perfect new sibling!

Plans

We think we're making Brother paranoid.  He keeps sending us texts demanding to know why he is hearing so much chuckling, and what we are doing on the computer checking for listings for buses.  Little does he know.  We think we might let him believe we are planning a trip to visit our mouse siblings' large cousins.  That ought to keep him distracted enough that he will never hear us hopping up on him until it is too late.

Possible Plans

We have some possible weekend plans.  The human saw a church that is having an event she would like to attend this weekend, although since the grandhuman won't be here, it would involve taking the bus.  And the bus that would need to be taken just happens to be the bus that then travels down to the teddy adoption center,  We think we shall be talking to the human right away about what a perfect plan visiting this place would be.  And then the teddy adoption center is right across the road from the place where we suspect Brother is hiding.  If we get a few more siblings, we can recapture him with no problems!

Brother's Complaints for Today

Brother is complaining today about the frequent internet clicking he is hearing, and he keeps demanding to know what we are doing, and if we are attempting to earn some sort of certificate, either for books for the human, or for fabric or for the worst thing in his opinion, more siblings. And he is demanding we get our paws off the computer this instant, because no matter what we are trying to earn, he's sure it isn't good.  So annoying.

Country Visit

We had a lovely visit to the country this afternoon, and we would like to apologize once more for any screams that might have disturbed people.  Brother didn't take the plants we looked at on the way home very well.  Sorry about that.  We don't know what his problem is.  We were just looking for a catnip plant.  Shouldn't he want us to get one of those?

Today's Apology

We would like to apologize for the shrieks today.  We found a buy one get one free seed sale and Brother did not take the news of our discovery well.  He also did not take the news that we found a sale on the wood needed for the country cottage well either.  He's now threatening to see the home improvement stores in a court of law for allowing us to hop in their front doors.

Tree Shopping

It was a bit rainy to go to the country today.  We hope to go tomorrow instead.  We do want to apologize for the shrieks, though, as we spent the afternoon tree shopping.  And found a lovely plant sale as well.  Brother was not pleased with our good finds to say the least.  Sorry about that.  We hope no one's ears hurt too much due to it.

Hoping

We're hoping to hop to the country tomorrow if the weather and the humans cooperate.  If our plans work out, expect loud kitty shrieks tomorrow afternoon.  You might want to stuff your ears now to muffle the noise.

Found Something

We found the nicest thing online today, where we can earn money to adopt more siblings by making online garden purchases.  Isn't that wonderful?  Brother is now threatening to see the program behind this in a court of law, but we are sure he will never make the charge of endangering us all and encouraging rabbits stick.

Maybe the Country

The human is wanting to visit the country this weekend.  Do you think there's anything we ought to do to encourage this?  The human is also talking about installing a flower or vegetable bed up there, which we have a ton of ideas for.  We really hope she goes for a vegetable bed.  The country bunnies would adore that if we installed a salad bar.

Brother Hunt Starts and Shrieks Start Too

We visited the co-op today and obtained a lovely little mint plant.  We think you can imagine how Brother took our getting our paws on a plant.  But worse for him, we got a little book listing kitties looking for homes and where these kitties can be found.  We will recapture him yet!

Leader's Visit

Our Leader was not happy not to find a cat here, after how proud he had been of us for finally recapturing him last year.  It was so embarrassing, and we feel like that's what Brother wanted with how he's been hiding, to humiliate us in front of the head bunny.  He's given us another chance, though, if we can get that cat back before the anniversary of his escape.  Surely we can recapture him in two months time!

Tommorrow Leader Visits

Our leader will be here bright and early in the morning.  Thank goodness we didn't have to cope with a power failure due to the storms last night.  Bad enough that we are going to have to explain that fugitive cat without having to explain why the house wasn't ready for leader's arrival.  We just hope he isn't too ticked we let the cat escape again.  He was so proud that we had recaptured him last year.

Short Post

Short post tonight.  Storms are starting and we fear we will need to hide in the hall at any moment.  Power failure might strike at any time.

Three Days

Three days until our leader comes hopping by and still no sign of that pesky Brother.  we are going to be so embarrassed to have him find out that Brother deserted us again.  Do you think if we show him the gift certificate we just earned to adopt more teddy siblings it will convince him we are still good bunnies?

Talked to Humans

The grandhuman mentioned letting chickens move in after seeing something about them on television, so we had to immediately suggest bunnies being allowed in instead.  Sorry if the resulting shrieks hurt anyone's ears too much.  Brother didn't take the suggestion well at all.

Outdoor Bunny

The nicest new outdoor bunny came hopping by this afternoon while the humans were out and it got us to thinking.  What if we opened the door and allowed a few of the outdoor bunnies to move in in Brother's place?  We're sure they would be wonderful siblings, and certainly wouldn't act like Brother, deserting us so frequently and leaving the human sobbing.  We would have done that today, but we couldn't find the spare door key.  We must locate that in case the bunny drops by again tomorrow.

Today's Brother Complaints

Sorry for anyone annoyed by the kitty shouts today.  Brother heard us talking about a mouse, and the tap of the ereader pages being turned, and we got angry shouting about are we reading about the park owned by our mouse siblings' large cousin in Florida, and are we planning a vacation, and to step away from the ereader right away and to get any such ideas out of our fluffy heads.  So annoying and then you won't believe how he shouted about hearing us digging when we planted flowers this afternoon.

Continued Complaints

Now we are receiving loud complaints from Brother, accusing us of murdering the microwave.  First, we don't know why Brother would care about the microwave's demise.  He never used it, after all, so it shouldn't matter to him that it died, and anyway, we have already found a new one.  And second, why would WE kill the microwave?  We like the microwave!  It's perfect for cooking carrots, and we certainly wouldn't wish it ill.  Brother can be so ridiculous at times.

Microwave

Might we have a moment of silence, for the microwave who died this afternoon after 21 years of service?  And we would like to offer our apologies to anyone disturbed by shouts.  We had to hop out to help the humans find a replacement for the late microwave, and along the way we found a human sized shirt we plan to convert into many shirts for ourselves.  Brother was not pleased.

Leader is Coming

Our leader, the Easter Bunny, will be hopping around next weekend, we just realized, and what will he have to say when he learns that cat has escaped once more?  We are going to be in so much trouble when he finds out that we have a fugitive kitty once again, and we fear he might revoke our baskets full of seed.  Maybe we need to head out on a Brother hunt tomorrow, to try to save ourselves from this?

Today's Complaints

Brother has a few new complaints today.  First, a new health food store, the kind of place that caters to bunnies, just opened, and we had our dinner this evening very close to it.  Brother was not happy and we got angry demands that we get away from the new den of rabbit encouragement at once.  Then we hopped to Walmart and got more yelling to get out of the fabric department and to get away from the seed racks.  Really very, very annoying.

Really Very Sorry

Sorry if the kitty shrieks were louder than anticipated today.  We found a new seed store on our way to the country that sells seed by the ounce.  They have wonderful prices on their pumpkin seed and squash seed and tomato seed and well, pretty much every seed.  Brother is not pleased with this, though, and is now threatening to report the store as a danger to the entire community.

Plans

We're thinking about hopping to the country tomorrow, and maybe putting together the foundations for a flowerbed or vegetable patch.  Or possibly both.  Expect screams bright an early in the morning if this plan goes forward.

Very Sorry

We're very sorry for anyone who had their hearing damaged today.  We don't know why our post warning you of the impending kitty shrieks didn't go through last night.  Sorry about that.  We guess you know that we called that garden center, and learned that their giant trees will be in some time next week.  Bother is not happy, and he is especially not happy about the fact that we might have to consult a garden specialist to get this tree planted.  He is sure that no good can come of our meeting with some sort of specialist in bunny encouragement.  Expect increasing shrieks as the week goes on.

Sunday Update

Not much to report today.  We did find a couple of sewing ebooks that look promising.  If you heard shrieks a bit ago, that would be what caused them, our adding them to our ebook library.  We really should probably check the password for that, so that there is no danger of Brother getting into it when we recapture him and trashing our library of saved books.  We probably should warn you now, tomorrow will probably have an extremely high likelihood of screams, as we are going to call a garden center to try to find a tree.  You should probably cover your ears now to be safe.

Today's Report

Not much to report today.  We spent the day checking out the material we got yesterday at the quilt show and making plans for what we want to stitch with it.  So now we have to go to the store in search of more fabric to finish out our planned projects.

Quilt Show and New Friends

The quilt show was fantastic, and would you believe that they have moved it so that it is just down the street from the teddy adoption center?  It was so nice, and we even saw a bear attending this event.  And afterwards, we just had to ride the trolley down to pick up our new siblings.  We met two of the nicest bunnies who were hopping to get placed into a home before our leader came hopping around and a cute little bear as well.  We now have 838 siblings, and we are surprised that Brother has not developed laryngitis from how he shrieked at the news of where the quilt show is now, and the fact we let more siblings into the house.

Quilt Show Plans

We're hoping to hop to the quilt show tomorrow, to get some sewing ideas, and then to the teddy adoption center to take in a few more siblings.  We're thinking of getting a pair of needy bunnies this time.  There are always lots of rabbits looking for homes at this time of the year, and it would be good to have more paws to help us with stitching.  We suggest anyone in the area stuff your ears now, for Brother will surely be pitching a major fit tomorrow.

Tablet

We got a large memory card to use for one of the tablets this afternoon, which will allow us to carry a ton more books around.  Brother is not pleased about this, and we've heard kitty rantings all afternoon demanding that we step away from the tablet, and stop reading at once, and to get our paws off that giant memory card.  Really, what does Brother find so terrible about our reading material?

Comics

We found a giant batch of the comics the human likes this afternoon.  No comics suitable to serve as Brother bait, though, which is kind of annoying because the price was so good.  We did see an ad in them for a comic featuring a rabbit.  Do you thin k if we hopped down to the store to look for that lovely volume Brother might come racing down to stop us?  We're sure he would not be happy to find us reading about a bunny superhero.

Lights

The power acted very oddly this evening, with the lights flickering.  Needless we are concerned a power failure could be looming.  Does anyone think we should go ahead and pack a bag, just in case we do lose power, so we'll be ready to flee to a hotel?  Or should bag space be saved for us to ride in?

Brother Bait

We got some Brother bait yesterday, three issues of the comic that stars that cat he likes so much.  We've been getting texts all evening, complaining about hearing the rustling of pages, and demanding to know what we are reading.  How long do you think we should let him go before starting talking about Dex-Starr so he'll realize what books we have in our paws, and will want to come rushing over to  get them away from us?

Not Much to Report

Humans had to go to that funeral today, so there isn't much to report.  We did want to tell everyone that we met two new bears yesterday and invited them to move in, bringing our sibling total to 835.  One of the bears is even a special needs bear, with damaged vision, so we're really glad we found him and were able to offer him a good home.

So Sorry!

We are so sorry!  We want to let any readers know that now.  We had no idea this would happen, and you have our total apologies.  We had the nicest idea for an outfit for Elsa Bear and her sister Anna Bear, so we took them out to approve and purchase fabric.  Elsa was complaining about things being entirely too green when she stepped outside, and now we are afraid that snow is looming in the weather forecast!  We are so SORRY!

Today's Fun

While they were waiting to hear news of funeral arrangements for the relative of a relative, the humans decided they should check out the country cottage to make sure things were okay.  We went along, and on the way back, we got to hop into one of our favorite stores to check out their fabric collections.  We got over four lovely yards of material.  We're already cutting up one selection into little bear pajama pants, and we just got the perfect idea for another outfit or two.  Sorry if anyone was unduly bothered by kitty shrieks at around five.  Really, Brother needs major help.

Death in the Family

A relative of a relative died today, so we might be tied up for the next few days.  Humans have to get food together to take to the bereaved.  We're thinking of assembling a vegetable platter to help them out.  Wouldn't that be nice of us?

Today's Human Report

Human is feeling a bit better today, so we have high hopes of going on a fabric hunt tomorrow.  And possibly a sibling hunt before the weekend.  We suggest covering your ears now before Brother's shrieks and demands we return home can deafen you.

Not Much to Report

The human's still not feeling well, and has spent most of the day napping, so there isn't much to report this evening.  We do have hopes for getting out tomorrow, though, so please keep your earmuffs handy.  We want to go fabric hunting and we expect Brother to be very displeased.

Short Post

Human isn't feeling well tonight so this will be a short post.  Something seems to be messing up her allergies, so we weren't able to go out.  Brother is suspected;  We're sure he would highly approve of an allergy issue that might keep us trapped at home.

More Shrieks

Sorry for the additional shrieks this afternoon.  We've been thinking about some of the other dresses the store had, and what nice clothing they would make for us if we hopped up there for a large batch to convert.  Brother is not taking it well, and is shouting for us to stop thinking at once, and to put down our needles and thread right away.  He can be so annoying.

Very Sorry for the Noise

We're very sorry if the noise of kitty shrieks disturbed anyone unduly this afternoon.  We found some lovely human sized knit fabric dresses for a lovely price that are the perfect print size to convert into teddy outfits as well as doll outfits.  Also, we might have figured out how to resize some of the doll clothing patterns to fit the more fluffy figure of the average teddy.  Brother is not pleased.  Again, so sorry for the noise.

Heater

We thought the heater was about to die a horrible death this afternoon, leaving us in the cold.  Someone was able to get out to fix it, but before they did, we were considering evacuation plans for fleeing to a hotel.  Does anyone think we might need to continue work on those plans, to be on the safe side?  Because the heater has been acting up for weeks, and we're not sure that what those people did will do anything besides temporarily fix it.

Awaiting Snow

More snow is due in the morning.  Elsa Bear keeps looking out the window for the first flake and bouncing around, eagerly awaiting the snow's arrival.  We think we might be doomed!  And really, things weren't helped by Elsa's human likeness getting another cartoon appearance that Elsa Bear just learned of today, and several books as well.

We Went for Pancakes

We went out for those lovely free pancakes this afternoon.  Really, we were so hopeful that such nice food would put Elsa in a good mood and make her stop with the snow.  Really, we should have known better, because what was awaiting us when we got home but a lovely weather forecast covered in the blue, white and pink of looming snow!  This is terrible!

Pancakes

Free pancakes are being given out tomorrow.  We're thinking of taking Elsa Bear and her sister and that snowman friend of theirs too.  Do you think if we feed them free pancakes Elsa will agree to stop with the snow?  Because we heard the grandhuman mentioning more a bit ago, and we are very afraid.

Really Annoyed

We thought we had worked things out with Elsa Bear.  We adopted her snowman friend and brought him home yesterday afternoon.  We thought that she would be pleased with that, and the snow and ice would go away.  But now what do we see looming in the weather forecast but more SNOW!  We're really thinking pawcuffs might be the only solution since bribery didn't seem to work out as expected.

We Got to Go!

We got to go to the teddy adoption center to search out new siblings today!  It was so nice!  We absolutely love the adoption center in the mountains, and we invited six new siblings, a kitty, a puppy, a bunny, that snowman who we hope will please Elsa Bear and two other bears to move in with us.  They're all so nice and cute.  We couldn't be happier!  And the human is already talking about hurrying back soon to invite a few more teddy bunnies to move in!  For now we are up to 833 siblings!

We Hope

We have some hope for getting to the teddy adoption center tomorrow to invite a few new siblings to move in.  At least we hope we get there tomorrow, because there is a rumor of more snow fast approaching.  If we don't make it tomorrow, we might not get there for weeks.  Really, Elsa Bear should be so ashamed of herself for causing this trouble.

Something Must be Done

Something must be done about Elsa Bear.  There is a rumor of more snow headed our way, and we can't deny any longer that she is to blame.  What we need are mittens.  Mittens that we can poke on her paws, so she can't zap up more snow, and that be secured so she can't get them off.  Do we have a pattern somewhere around here for mittens with locks on them?

We Tried

We tried so hard to get Elsa Bear to stop with the ice and snow, we want that known now.  We convinced the human to take her out this afternoon, in the hopes that getting out would make her want to take more trips, which would require better weather.  Well, she didn't quite see it that way we suppose.  Apparently what she got out of the trip was that the snow that we were hit with yesterday was great, because it is now snowing again, we have several inches, and there is no sign it is going to stop any time soon.  Maybe we should have checked the stores for pawcuffs when the humans went out?  We think we are going to need them!

Snow Today

We have four or five inches of snow today, and Elsa was checking it out rather proudly a bit ago, which is highly suspicious.  And she was talking about building a snowman!  Doesn't she realize that he snowman friend is at the teddy adoption center?  She has no need to create this terrible weather to try to let him move in!  We were actually going to get him on Friday, before she got us with the snow and ice.

Gets Worse

We are expecting bad weather tonight, running into tomorrow, and on Wednesday as well.  We thought we had Elsa Bear convinced to stop with the ice and snow if we got her a lovely little dress, or maybe some pajamas.  Doesn't she realize that if the ice and snow don't stop, we will never be able to get out to the store to purchase these items for her?

Suspicions

Kentucky has issued an arrest warrant for Elsa from Frozen for causing the terrible weather and now we are very suspicious.  We allowed an Elsa Bear to move in here a couple of months ago, and it has been noticeably colder here ever since her arrival.  Do you think we need to lock her up somewhere?  Really, we have allowed this bear to share our nice home and we're working on making her nice clothes and she might have inflicted this snow and ice upon us?  We wonder if Kentucky is offering a reward for turning her in?

Still Awful Weather

We're awaiting snow now, and now the forecast is calling for more on Monday.  We have never seen such horrible, awful weather forecasts in our lives!  We haven't been out of the house since we believe it was Monday or Tuesday, and we fear at this rate it will be weeks before we get to hop out.  Really, isn't there something we could give the groundhogs to make them stop this awful weather?  Do you think they would take quilts?

More Bad Weather

More bad weather is looming.  The forecast is calling for snow and ice for tomorrow, and we don't like how the groundhogs are chuckling and giving each other high fives.  Does anyone know of a bribe we could come up with fast to avert this new horror?

Continuing Bad Weather

The bad weather is continuing, and we are getting seriously annoyed.  Really, there are things we need to hop out and do, and we are trapped in the house until this goes away.  If we didn't know better, we would think Brother was responsible, in a scheme to keep us at home where we can't invite more siblings to move in.

Ice and Snow

We have ice and snow is due tonight.  The power lines are covered with icicles, and we fear we will lose power at any moment.  The polar bears are severely panicked, and are wanting to flee to a hotel now.  And we are not sure they might not be right.  Maybe we ought to go ahead and pack, just to be prepared?

Today's Weather

Short post tonight.  Ice and snow is falling and we don't like the noises coming from the direction of the heater.  We fear evacuation to a hotel might have to occur soon.  Horrible, evil weather.  The polar bears are running around in a panic and we believe we will have to spend the evening calming them.  This is terrible!

So Disappointed

We're so disappointed.  We were hoping to hop to the mountains today, to adopt a bunch of the needy teddies we heard were up there, only the trip fell through again.  Paws crossed that we get to go on Friday, please?  So annoyed, although on the up side, there might be some teddy bunnies in need of homes available on Friday.

Betsy is Ticked

Betsy Bear is ticked that we didn't go to the mountains today.  The human is wanting to go tomorrow, but Betsy is grumbling about how that will be too late, because all of the people got married today, and all of their cakes will be eaten by the people they were purchased for instead of by her.  If we do get to the mountains tomorrow, and we are very hopeful that we will, because there are so many wonderful deals to help us adopt more needy teddies, then we fear what Betsy might do, to try to make up for missing being able to eat all of those wedding cakes.

Annoyed

We were hoping to hop off this weekend, to that lovely teddy adoption center in the mountains, but now car trouble has hit, and we might be stuck here.  So annoyed.  On the up side, we have to admit, this is a good turn of fortune for those people attempting to get married.  They might get to keep their wedding cakes.  But still, we so wanted to go and get more siblings.

Preparing for Horror

We hope everyone is preparing for the horror of the weekend when that poor fellow Cupid is supposed to take flight to spread love and candy.  Betsy has a giant net all ready for her, and her extra large snitching sack out.  We are very concerned.  Especially since the human is discussing visiting the mountains, where many other humans will be congregating to attempt to get married this weekend for the holiday.  Those poor, poor people.  As if it isn't bad enough that Betsy is planning to capture Cupid and rob him of his candy, bow and arrows, she is probably going to snitch all of those poor people's wedding cakes as well!  We just hope they bought wedding insurance, but does insurance cover Betsy Bear attacks?

Worried

We're a bit worried.  Snow is threatening this weekend, along with freezing weather, but we were hoping to hop out to get a few more siblings.  How can we do that if it is snowing?  Do you think if we offer our groundhog siblings a bribe, they can give us a few days' respite?  Maybe we could promise to take in a needy groundhog if they do?

Today's Report

Sorry for the shrieks, but really it was kind of funny.  We hopped out this afternoon, and Brother was ranting, and shouting about how he heard the crinkling of newsprint as we headed out the door, and for us to get back inside at once and not to dare go look for more patterns.  Well, we didn't find patterns, probably because we really didn't get a chance to look properly, but we did meet a lovely new bear in need of a home.  So when we got back, Brother started shouting about why was he hearing additional footsteps coming in and had we dared to let another sibling move in.  Really, it's quite funny and we are up to 727 siblings!

Today's Apology

We're sorry once more for anyone disturbed by loud kitty shrieks.  Really, if Brother keeps that up, we're expecting the people where he is hiding out to pay us to take him back.  Anyway, we found a lovely sale on clothing patterns we can modify to fit us, and he is not happy.  So, so annoying to hear constant shouts to drop that sale paper at once, and not to dare hop in the car to go to the store.

Sorry Again

Sorry again for the kitty shrieks today.  We found someone online who made a bear outfit and posted, asking how they did it, so we could get more ideas for our own clothing.  Brother did not take it well.  It could work out well for US though, if we could convince this human to keep Brother chatting with them, and keep him distracted for long enough for us to creep up and pounce with a net, to drag him home.

More Coupons

We got some lovely coupons yesterday, five of them, to go towards adopting more lovely teddy siblings.  We're honestly surprised Brother wasn't waiting on the doorstep when we arrived home with those coupons, to try to yank them out of our paws before we could use them.  Five lovely coupons.  Now to get gift certificates to go with those coupons!

Conflicting Reports

We are hearing conflicting weather reports.  Some say there is snow approaching and some are saying there is warmer weather coming.  All we know is that the groundhogs are chucking.  Laughing groundhogs after Groundhog's Day, that's just not a good sign.  We suspect the groundhogs planted the rumors of warmer weather to lull people into a false sense of security, the better to get them with a blizzard.

No Snow

We didn't get snow, thank goodness, but the groundhogs are looking at the calendar and keep chuckling, and pointing to a date we can't see because their heads are in the way.  We are very nervous and fearing the worst.

Snow Looms

The threat of snow is looming once more, and we are debating if we should pack emergency bags of fabric, needles and thread, along with sacks with extra clothes and blankets, in case we should have to flee to a hotel unexpectedly.  We would hate to not have stuff packed and forget a needed color of thread, or additional fabric in our hurry to rush out the door to the evacuation vehicle.

No Bait Yet

We weren't able to gather more bait to use for luring Brother back this afternoon, but now we have an even better plan for how to get that kitty back where he belongs.  We're thinking of hopping off to invite more siblings to move in, possibly on Friday, but first we have to go to the closest teddy adoption center to convert our paper certificates to finance these adoptions to a nice plastic form.  The teddy adoption center is right near where we are sure Brother is hiding.  If he spots us hopping in there with a fortune in certificates for siblings in our paws, he is sure to come racing over to try to drag us away by our ears.  But we will have a net handy, and will be the ones doing the dragging!  Perfect plan!

Need More Bait

We think we need a few more issues of that comic starring Brother's favorite feline to use as bait to lure him into returning.  We only have two issues that he doesn't know about, and it doesn't seem to be working so well.  We've gotten a few annoying texts complaining about hearing pages flipping, but he hasn't showed up yet to try to get the comics out of our paws.  Paws crossed that the store where we usually find these books has gotten a few more in since the weekend.

Sad Human

Today was the one year anniversary of when we recaptured Brother for the short time before he escaped once more, so the human has been terribly sad.  We fear our soft fur might be facing tears soon.  Really, that cat ought to be ashamed of himself!  Maybe when we recapture him again we will dump a bucket of salt water on his fur, and see how he likes worrying about the damage done!

Clothes!

We found a store selling discounted clothing in teddy sizes today!  It was a bit high priced, so we couldn't get as much as we would have liked, but we did get a cute top, a pair of pants, and some adorable little slippers.  If anyone was disturbed by a kitty shriek at about lunch time, that was what it was about.  Really, you would think Brother wants us NAKED!

Fabric Success!

We have our backing fabric!  Lovely yellow backing fabric, and there were seven yards of it, almost enough to back TWO quilts!  Happy, happy day!  Now if we can just find a bit more in that shade, because we think it would make a lovely binding fabric as well.

Wonderful Idea

Betsy Bear made a wonderful suggestion today.  Actually, the idea was so nice we couldn't believe it was Betsy suggesting it.  The human has adopted 826 of us, which we are sure is the most teddies adopted by one person.  Anyway, the human has a big birthday in 10 months, and the Betsy was saying something about maybe the teddy adoption center would do something nice for the human when she hits 900 teddies adopted.  Well, we were thinking, what if we could combine the 900 bear mark and the human's birthday?  We are sure it would be fantastic, but who do we need to talk to to make it happen?

Very Sorry

We're very sorry about this, and we hope no one has suffered hearing damage.  We just ordered another large gift certificate to the teddy adoption center.  That brings us to 75 dollars in certificates, and we also have 20 dollars in coupons to help sponsor sibling adoptions.  We think you can imagine how Brother took it.  We don't know what his problem is, though.  We've heard there is a very nice teddy kitty in need of a home.  Shouldn't he WANT us to go and rescue his fellow feline?

Today's Snow Update

At least the snow didn't linger.  That is one good thing.  So we can amuse ourselves hoping out tomorrow, as we were hoping to do.  On the bad side, the snow is reminding the human of last year when we had that pesky brother recaptured for a short time, and she is sad.  We fear tears will start at any moment.

Snow

The snow has started and is coming down hard.  So, so annoying.  We are now concerned that some evil person in New York has figured out how to divert their bad weather onto us.  We just hope the power doesn't go.  We are sure the grandhuman will want to tough it out, instead of sensibly fleeing to a cozy hotel.

A Bit Nervous

We are a bit nervous tonight.  We just heard the weather forecast, calling for potential snow tonight, and we heard something that sounds alarmingly like ice falling a bit ago.  What if the snow hits now and we loose power while the grandhuman is here?  We're sure she'll try to prevent our fleeing to a hotel!  We might freeze our fluffy little cotton tails off!  Couldn't the snow wait until she is at work and unable to prevent our calling a cab?

Snow is Gone

The snow wasn't too terrible after all, and is already gone.  We are actually kind of disappointed.  We were looking forward to a possible hotel visit.  We already had coupons and everything.

Awaiting Snow

The snow should be here soon, and we think we're prepared.  We have lots of blankets to hide under, a coupon book for hotels should the power fail, and the number for the local taxi service should we need to flee to a hotel.  And we did a bit of checking and learned they charge based on milage, not on number of passengers, which is a relief.  We just hope if necessary we can find a hotel who offers Carrot Crunch as a breakfast option instead of that Captain Crunch stuff.

Snow Approaching

There is a rumor of snow fast approaching, and we are concerned.  What if the power fails?  This snow is due over the weekend, when the grandhuman will be away at work for hours!  If we loose power while she's not here, the human will have to call a cab to evacuate with us to a warm hotel.  Do cabs charge by the passenger?  And if so, is there a discount for bears, bunnies and assorted other teddies?

Brother Bait

We have some lovely bait now to hopefully lure that rotten Brother back, which will spare us the expense of paying to retrieve him as well.  We got two brand new issues of the comic starring that cat he is so fond of.  We're sure he'll want to see those, especially since the comic cat has learned to talk.  A cat talking, probably a horrible idea, but Brother will likely approve.  Now how to let him know we have the comics?  We might have to read them ourselves, so he will hear the pages turning, and will come rushing over to rescue the feline comics from our little bunny paws. Just perfect!

Went to the Movie

We went to the movie, as you might have figured if you heard the kitty shrieks.  Brother wasn't pleased at all that we saw a film starring a bear, and such a cute little bear too.  He is sure it will only lead to us inviting more bears to move in.  We probably shouldn't let him know that we are hoping to visit the teddy adoption center soon, in search of more siblings.  But we were planning that for a long time!  The movie is absolutely not to blame, so he can just stop his complaints and his threats against the local theaters!

Movie Maybe

We are hoping to ho to a movie tomorrow, and we are already hearing angry kitty shouts about how we can just keep our big bunny feet, and the rest of us as well out of that theater.  The movie we're wanting to see stars a bear, and Brother is sure that watching his film will only lead to us wanting to ask this bear to move in.  Really, why does he think he has the right to try to control our movie viewing when he doesn't even live here at the moment?  And we have read some of the books with this bear already, we hope Brother knows, and we were already thinking about sending this nice bear an invitation to move in and join the family!

This Afternoon

We went on a fabric hunt, trying to find that backing fabric we need this afternoon.  No luck, but we did have an encounter with a human looking to make doll outfits.  Wasn't that just perfect, that the human was planning to make doll outfits and we met her after our lovely experience sewing multiple outfits just a few weeks ago.  So now we're hearing kitty shrieks demanding to know why we are conversing with strange humans in fabric aisles, and to stop at once.

Happy to Announce

We are happy to announce that we have a new sibling!  We met the nicest pink pig named Kendra this afternoon.  We have been wanting to find a pig to join our family for years now, and we finally found one!  Of course we begged her to move in right away as soon as we spotted her.  We are up to 826 siblings.  And Brother is shouting about how he is hearing the clicking of little cloven hooves, and what have we dared to allow in the house this time.

Should Have Known

We should have known that Brother not complaining was too wonderful a thing to actually happen.  Well, he's not complaining about hearing us online, which is nice, but we heard shrieks this evening, when we hopped home with four packets of patterns and a giant spool of thread from the most wonderful sale.  But at least he isn't complaining about clacking computer keys.  That probably makes him a fourth less annoying anyway.  We suppose that is something.

Today's Complaint

Perhaps we have finally persuaded Brother to be quiet with his complaints about us being online.  He was shouting a bit ago about hearing the keyboard clicking, and demanded to know if we were earning gift certificates to be used to purchase fabric.  We promptly told him we were, by watching commercials and evaluating toys for HIM!  So if he doesn't want us to earn fabric, then we also won't be learning about fantastic stuff he would love.  The shrieks are quiet for now.  Here's hoping that continues.

Oddest Thing

We saw the oddest thing today, a batch of cats who had a collection of reading lamps in their little kitty apartment!  We can only assume that this means these cats are READERS!  Cats who like books, instead of a cat like brother who seems to have some sort of book phobia and who shouts to back away every time he even senses us looking at a book.  We wonder if we could talk to these kitties, and get them to reform Brother as soon as we recapture him?

Sorry for the Noise

Sorry for the noise.  We found a ton of ebooks on quilts, including one on how to make CAT themed quilts in the elibrary the human has been enjoying this morning.  Needless to say, Brother didn't take our library find well, and he is shouting at us to back away from the computer and the tablets at once.  We really don't know what his problem is.  Our teddy cat siblings think cat themed quilts are a lovely idea!

Relative Report

The relative is feeling better, so we might head for the teddy adoption center soon, instead of having to pay a sick visit.  But Brother is still ranting.  Honestly, nothing makes him happy.  First he complains we might visit a sick relation, and then he complains that we probably won't have to, and might go somewhere else instead.  Will that cat ever be satisfied?

Human Relation

One of the human's relations is ill, so we are possibly going to be making a little trip for visiting duty at some point this week.  We are hearing the kitty shrieks now, because this relative lives near a genealogy archive AND several lovely fabric places.  And then there is the fact the last time we had to call on this ill relation, several years ago, Brother's food dish, and both of his back up food dishes went empty, and we nearly got to serve him a SALAD!

Very, Very Annoyed

Well, we hopped back to the store and returned the wrong fabric, but we could not find the bolt of fabric we actually need, and that we were sure we bought.  So annoying.  Brother had to have crept in and hid it from us.  We should have checked the fabric bolts for grey cat hairs.  So now we must hop to another store to find the proper fabric.  So annoying and it cuts into our sewing time terribly!

So Annoyed

We hopped to the store today and bought fabric to back three quilts.  Eighteen yards total, six yards per quilt in purple, blue and a dusty yellow.  We are sure that we purchased yellow.  Only, when we got home and checked the fabric, it is PEACH!  PEACH!  That was not the color we selected, and we can only assume that Brother brother somehow figured a way to switch the fabrics out while we were having lunch.  So now me must hop back to the store to get the correct fabric tomorrow.  How annoying!

Almost Forgot to Update

Almost forgot to update the sibling count.  Two more teddies moved in over the holidays, bringing us up to 825 siblings.  You don't want to know how brother reacted to that number.  Really, it was terribly embarrassing to have him shouting so loudly.

Nippy Out

It's nippy out today, so we weren't able to hop out to hunt down that terrible, awful cat.  We have, however, started working out a few calculations on fabric needed for backing a number of quilts that are almost ready to be assembled, and have gone through our special quilting thread selection as well, to try to see what other colors we might need.  We now have a list of purchases we need to make, and isn't it so nice, the pet place by the archive that we think Brother might be hiding at is also next to a place with FABRIC!  We can recapture him, and then force him to spend the next few hours having to help us drag fabric to a cutting table and carefully weed through a million shades of thread to find the ones we need!  Won't he just love that?

Possible Brother Hiding Place

We just learned that there is a pet store rather close to the genealogy archive too, and now we're wondering if Brother might be hiding there.  We thought he was lurking at the place near the teddy adoption center, thinking that we would never suspect him of being so near a place he finds so alarming, but with how big a fit he has pitched over the threat of the family tree, maybe he might think the pet place near the archive is safer, and that we would absolutely never think of him being there.  We might have to check both places.  Thank goodness they are on the same bus line.

Thread

We got three lovely, gigantic spools of thread this afternoon, and we would like to offer our apologies to anyone who was disturbed by the noise.  Brother wasn't pleased, both by the thread purchases, and by the fact that we're hoping to start sewing together this quilt with little cats appliqued into each square soon.  He's accused us of trying to make it look like cats are accomplices to our sewing.  We don't see what the problem is.  The teddy cats who live here have been very nice and helpful.  Why can't Brother be as cooperative as them?

Today's Visit

We're sorry if shouts woke anyone this morning.  Brother was being a pain again, and started shouting when we hopped off for a country visit this morning bright and early.  So annoying and he has absolutely no right to complain after how he deserted us.  We have a perfect right to do what we want and hop where we want, and he has no right to try to stop us!  We are good bunnies.  We stayed at home where we belong, unlike that deserter of a feline.

Sewing Purchases

We got seven lovely yards of fabric today, and two nice little spools of thread.  And when we got home, we did a bit of checking, and it seems that the shade of pink thread we already had is wrong, so we're considering hopping back tomorrow to purchase a giant pink thread spool.  And possibly more fabric.  And there are the kitty shrieks again.  You would really think Brother would be getting tired of yelling so, wouldn't you?

Fabric Shopping We Hope

We're hoping to go fabric shopping tomorrow, to get that binding material, and then maybe a bit more material to construct backing so we can start working on a few more quilts.  That would be really good to have on hand.  And we've been thinking, and have realized that we need a bit more special quilting thread as well, which means we will need to go to a second store.  We're sensing a whole lot of shopping and fabric in our future!

Plans

The grandhuman is talking about taking a few days off, and possibly sitting around READING!  We have the best idea to convince her that this reading would be so much more fun in the cozy country or possibly in the mountains.  Wouldn't Brother be just so annoyed if we managed to talk her into that?  And if we manage to recapture him by then, he can go WITH us!

Grandhuman

Brother is going to be so annoyed!  The grandhuman is enjoying the tablet we helped the human obtain.  We have downloaded a bunch of books, and the human is talking up how much fun it would be to go to the cozy country and snuggle up for hours of reading pleasure.  We're sensing lovely trips to the country in our futures, and maybe the mountains as well.  Won't that just drive brother CRAZY?

Sorry

Sorry about the shrieks.  We hope they didn't wake anyone.  We just realized that there is a way we can earn gift certificates for free fabric online.  Needless to say, Brother wasn't pleased about this, and now he is ranting and demanding we get off the computer right this instant and put down our needles too.

More Yardage

We got three more yards of fabric today, including another yard of purple for binding material.  Only when we arrived home and checked it, did we realize that the purple we just purchased is the wrong shade and thus doesn't match the first purple.  Which means we have to either hop back to the store to get the right shade, or get an additional yard of the new shade.  Or, seeing as they're both very nice, we could always get more yardage of both.

More Material

We got the material to stitch a teddy sized sleeping bag today.  That is all cut out and pinned for assembly. We also got some fabric that we are thinking we might use for quilt binding, and now we are wishing we had grabbed another yard or two.  But then that just gives us the perfect excuse to hop back to the store, doesn't it?

More Sewing Planned

The human's cousin wants more clothing for that nice doll that moved in with her for Christmas, so we have to hop out soon to gather more fabric.  We would like to apologize to everyone in advance for any  screams that result from this sewing.  We have tried and tried to tell Brother that bunnies sewing is not illegal but he refuses to believe us, and insists so much stitching has to be in violation of some law.  Again, sorry about all of his shrieking.

Delaying Recapture a Bit

We've decided to delay the Brother hunt a bit in order to give the coal dust more time to spread and become truly annoying.  The worse it gets, the more the people who are stuck with Brother are likely to pay us to take him back, and we have loads of lovely fabric and thread we need to purchase.  It will serve Brother right if our collecting him leads to our getting loads of money for all of the things he hates as well.

Merry Christmas!

We just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and to offer our apologies to anyone who had their house raided last night, and found cookies, milk, cake, and candy canes missing.  We would also like to apologize to anyone who Santa failed to visit with presents last night.  You can pick up the wrapping paper covering your gifts tomorrow.  And if you offer Betsy enough cash, she might return the presents as well.  If you were down for coal, well, we're pleased to let you know that there were no delays in delivering that.  And really, we don't know how Brother is going to explain that giant pile of coal he got.  We're sure the humans who are stuck with him at the moment were not pleased by all of the black dust everywhere.  Hmmmm.  You know, we bet they might be so ticked over that coal dust, that they would PAY US to take him if we showed up at the right time!  We're thinking possibly around lunch tomorrow.  That would give them time to try to clean up the dust and get truly annoyed.  And it would give them time to visit the bank to get money to hand over to us, in return for taking Brother off their hands too.

Still Sad

The human is still sad over that rotten Brother.  He ought to be so ashamed.  We are thinking about going to recapture him on Friday.  We will probably be distracted then, trying to explain away all of that coal, so he should be easy to grab and drag back where he belongs.

Poor Human

The poor human is sobbing over that awful, terrible Brother tonight, and how much Christmas without him hurts so.  We expect to become wet shortly, when she goes to bed and her tears get on our fur.  Really, that cat should be ASHAMED of himself for doing this.  He really should.  You know what we should do tomorrow?  We should take the bus out to the pet store where a bunch of lovely rabbits looking for homes live, and invite a couple of them to come home with us to be our news siblings.  It would just serve Brother right if we replaced him with a rabbit after how he's made our poor human cry.

Very Strange

It is very, very strange the issue we had with those needles.  We're not sure what went wrong with them.  The package said they were sharp.  They feel nice and pointy.  So why didn't they seem sharp when going though our quilt sandwich?  We seriously suspect kitty sabotage.  But at least we found out in time and with our new needle the sewing is flying.

Quilt Progress

We noticed our quilting speed had declined a bit, so we decided to try a fresh needle.  We were surprised to see how fast things started going after the switch and now we are suspicious.  Could brother have arranged a bit of needle sabotage?  The needle we were using was new and labeled sharp, but it really didn't seem horribly sharp to us.  Could Brother have gotten to the store and somehow switched needle labels?

Illness

The grandhuman is ill, and we are very suspicious of the timing of this, right before we were scheduled to go and recapture Brother.  Do cats know anything about germ warfare?  We ought to call a bunny at the teddy adoption center across the street from Brother's likely hiding place and get them to hop over to check the browsing history on any computer he might have access to to see what he's been looking up.

Congratulate Us!

The clothing for that doll is almost done!  Just a few stitches more and we will have finished seven outfits and a swimsuit.  Then it is on to tie off that quilt and get to work on a second quilt.  Our apologies in advance to anyone who wanted to sleep tonight.  With Brother's shrieks for us to put down our pins and needles, sleep probably isn't happening.

Three Outfits Done

We have three outfits done, and are almost finished with a fourth one.  And we have found a way to quilt so much faster as well.  Unfortunately, that means the kitty shrieks have also increased.  Does anyone need us to send them spare batting fluff for ear plugs?

Work Goes Well

We have two full doll outfits finished, and now that we know how to do it, we think fixing the neckline is going to go even faster.  Quilting speed has picked up as well, so we're doing good there too.  Now if only the kitty shrieks hadn't picked up.  We so hope we can capture that cat this weekend.  At least if he was HERE maybe we could find a way to make him be quite.  We could put him to WORK!  Then he would have no energy for complaining!

Sewing

The sewing continues at great speed.  Unfortunately, Brother's shouting about it continues too.  Really, isn't he violating some sort of noise ordinance with all of his yelling and screeching about our hard work?  We are very sorry to anyone who is being disturbed by his shouting.  On the up side, we have only one shirt to go, and we are almost finished quilting our third square, so hopefully the yelling will end soon.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow we get to work finishing of that quilt.  We have two new packets of needles just for the job, so we're all ready and can't wait to get started. We have almost finished our fifth doll shirt, and have the pieces for the other two cut out, which just leaves this quilt as our last thing to finish.

Poor Human

The human is sad tonight so this will be a short post.  It is the six month anniversary of Brother's second  abandonment of us and the poor human has been crying over that RAT!  Six months, and he is still refusing to move back in at the same time that he refuses to quit complaining about the nice teddies that have moved in and the hard work we are doing.  He ought to be so ashamed.  The human is just so sad, though, and misses the rat so much.  We fear that we will not have a Christmas tree this year either due to him.

More Apologies

We're sorry for any kitty caused ear problems today.  Really, Brother should be ASHAMED!  First there were the shrieks bright and early this morning, when we finished stitching one quilt closed, and added the border to another quilt before getting it ready to have the batting and backing applied.  Oh, you should have heard the shouts, demanding to know why he was hearing the rustling of batting being unfolded, and to fold that back up at once.  So, so annoying.  And then we hopped out tonight to look for a brush for the doll that is moving in with the human's cousin.  We checked at a fabric store that offers doll merchandise as well, and would you believe it, they were having a PATTERN sale!  We got seven lovely, lovely packets, and were almost deafened by Brother yelling.  He should be so, so ashamed.

Plans

We hope everyone wants to wake up nice and early tomorrow, because we have more stitching work planned.  We're thinking about trying to assemble another quilt bright and early.  Much screaming is anticipated, so you should plug your ears now.

Very, Very, Very Sorry

We're very sorry about the shouts a bit ago.  Brother is ranting that he heard us extracting safety pins from a quilt, and that can only mean we are either finished with one, or we are almost finished.  It is a small one, but we are pleased to announce that we are almost finished.  We just have to stitch the top closed, and then add some cute little ties and it is done.  And there Brother goes shouting again, and demanding someone hide our sewing needle right away.

Doll's Here

The doll intended for the human's cousin is here, which will be helpful with constructing clothing.  We already have a few more ideas for things to make after meeting her.  We suggest that anyone who is unduly disturbed by kitty shrieking plug your ears now, because we expect a fit from Brother soon.

More Shouts

As if the shouts about the stitching we are doing wasn't bad enough, Brother found out that we managed to earn the funds to allow another teddy or two to be adopted as well.  We don't know why he thinks he has a right to complain about anyone who lives here.  He deserted us two times.  If he doesn't want to live here, then he has no right to complain about teddies to do want to move in and be good siblings.

Very, Very Sorry

We're really sorry for the noise today.  We had no idea Brother would start shrieking that loudly, just because we started assembling a quilt, but he has been shouting all day about how he is hearing a needle stitching through batting, and are we actually making a full quilt?  How he can tell the needle is going through batting, we haven't a clue, but he is claiming he can.  Luckily we have been able to use scraps of batting to stuff in our ears to block the shouts.  For everyone else, well, surely some store has ear muffs on sale!

Delayed Hunt

We started thinking that Brother might expect us to hop down on the weekend to recapture him.  And if he is expecting us, he might have plans to fight back and keep us from dragging him back home.  So our hunt has been rescheduled for sometime during the week.  And to make sure he doesn't suspect us of heading his way, we will carry some sewing along in the car.  As long as he hears stitching, he will think we are safely at home and we will maintain the element of surprise.

Maybe Hunting?

We might go hunting for that pesky Brother tomorrow.  We're sure it won't be much of a challenge to find him.  We'll just have to carry wrapping paper, tape and a present for a human, and follow the shouts when we try to wrap the gift.  We almost finished all of the human's wrapping for her this afternoon, and the shouts were terribly alarming to say the least.  Really, Brother should be ashamed of pitching such a fit over our being so helpful!

Stitching Continues

We are almost finished stitching a third pair of pants.  We're also surprised Brother hasn't given himself laryngitis from all of his shouting with each stitch we take.  Almost finished with three pairs of pants and we just got the happy email that the doll these are intended for is on her way.  Things are progressing extremely well!  Now if we can finish our wrapping and sewing, then the only thing left to do will be to capture that cat.  We hope Brother knows that capturing him is on the list, and we are doing remarkably well at checking things off.  Soon he will be checked off as well!

Almost Finished

Almost finished with a pair of shorts for that doll, and it went together so FAST!  It took us almost longer to cut out the pattern than it did to stitch the clothing.  Sorry for any kitten shrieks that might have annoyed you.  Brother wasn't pleased, and took to shouting with every stitch.  And we take tiny, neat little stitches so we're afraid there was a ton of shouts.

Sewing

We're helping the human stitch together a few outfits for a doll that will be moving in with a cousin of hers soon.  We already have the fabric cut for one outfit, and just have to do a tiny bit of stitching and adding elastic to have it together.  So simple looking to sew.  And we can use left over scrap material to plug our long ears, so the shrieks from Brother don't annoy us as much.  PERFECT!

Today

Sorry about the shouts again today.  Brother is being such a total annoyance over Christmas.  We just checked through our leader the Easter Bunny, and we are right at the top of Santa's good list for how helpful we have been.  The top of the good list!  We're sure to get a ton of seed for such an accomplishment!  We might even get our own PLOW!  We probably should have asked where Brother was on the list, but we pretty much already know.  Deserting twice, do they even have a ranking low enough on the bad list for that?

Sorry Again

Sorry again for all of the noise today.  We got a large batch of presents wrapped, and we expect to finish the rest tomorrow.  Brother was not pleased.  We can only assume that he has guessed that once all of the wrapping is finished, then we will be coming to recapture him.  Well, it is his own FAULT!  If he hadn't deserted us again, we wouldn't have to drag him back once more, and we hope he is totally embarrassed, being drug out of his hiding place and marched past all of the other kitties at squirt gun point.

Sorry for the Shouts

Sorry for the shouts.  Brother is so ticked we finished that list.  We don't know why he's upset but he's been yelling ever since we checked off the last name and checked the list thrice.  And we don't think he even knows yet that we invited two more bears who we heard were in need of homes while we were doing our Black Friday shopping to move in either.

Finished!

The list is FINISHED!  The wrapping paper is down, more tape has been purchased, and a marathon wrapping session has been scheduled, hopefully for tomorrow.  Santa is going to be so impressed, and the head bunny will surely be impressed too.  Of course Brother has been ranting about this, and wait until we finish wrapping!  Then we will have an entire MONTH to devote to recapturing HIM!

Sorry for the Noise

We are very sorry if anyone was disturbed by angry kitty shrieks tonight.  Apparently Brother didn't stuff himself enough on his Thanksgiving dinner, because he was wide awake and shrieking over our shopping success.  We are happy to announce that thanks to careful bunny planning, the human only needs four or five tiny gifts, and three gifts of books to have her shopping competed.  We are anticipating that if we have a giant wrapping session this weekend, all of the Christmas tasks could be completed before December starts.  We have been truly excellent rabbits!  Perhaps that is Brother's problem.  Our excellence is sure to get is marked high on Santa's good list, which will push Brother so far down the list it isn't funny.  And speaking of Santa, we don't want to drop names, but we might have spotted him at the store.  He was a bit thin, due to Betsy's cookie thefts, we are sure, but we recognized him right away.  And we are sure the fact we are truly wonderful bunnies to be helping out human so was duly noted for a list mark-up.

All Ready

We have our list of needed shopping, and we have checked it thrice.  We have even drawn out a little map to better shop for the things we need.  Now we just have to wait for tomorrow and the chance to hop to the stores.  And for the chance to recapture that cat.  He's sure to stuff himself tomorrow, and should be slow and easy to grab.  We just hope he isn't too heavy.  We don't want to hurt our poor paws dragging him to the car.

Plans in Place

Our human still hurts, and we are more suspicious than even that this is due to Brother and a voodoo doll.  It would be just like him to pull a stunt like this.  Well, we hope he is having fun, because Victoria Bear has agreed to accompany us, armed with squirt gun, to hunt down that cat and recapture him!

Poor Human Still

Poor human is still in pain.  Really, if we did not know better we would suspect Brother of having a voodoo doll of her and poking it with his claws.  We almost said with pins but he wouldn't want to be near sewing items, so he's probably using claws.  Such an annoying cat.  He's probably thinking if he cripples the human with pain, then she won't be able to limp out with us and we won't be able to recapture him!  Just for that, we think we will invite Victoria Bear along to help with this recapture.  She has a lovely squirt gun and won't Brother just love to be drug out of his hiding place at squirt gun point?

Poor Human Again

The human's leg was terribly messed up today, so we had to be very quiet, and couldn't hunt for anyone.  Which means Brother is still roaming free.  But we think we might leave him on the loose for a bit.  And then after Thanksgiving, after he has gorged himself on salmon or ham, and is sleeping it off, he will be so easy to catch!  And in a bit of convenience for us, the place where he is hiding is near where we plan to do a bit of After Thanksgiving shopping!  We can just hop in and grab him to assist us!

Possible Cat Brother Sighted

The human was poking around online as she thinks she has spotted Brother.  The feline she thinks is him is one of those cats who loiters at Burger King and the pizza place who did such a foul job of maintaining their parking lot that they crippled our poor human, so we're more than a bit suspicious that this kitty could be him too.  But how to organize a Brother hunt while trying to save our poor turkey brother from Betsy?

Have a Plan

We have a plan to find our turkey brother.  The more we think about it, the surer we are that Betsy has him tied up some place.  But if she plans to make him her Thanksgiving dinner, she will first have to stuff him.  So we are going to stake out the box of stuffing.  When she grabs it, then we just have to follow her back to our imprisoned brother and rescue him.

Still no Sign

Still no sign of our turkey brother.  We are starting to fear Betsy has him tied up some place with plans to stuff him for her Thanksgiving dinner.  But how can we find and rescue him?  That's the problem.

Snow

It snowed today, preventing us from launching a hunt for our turkey brother.  Really, we're not sure what could have happened.  He is short for a turkey, so we're not sure how he could have reached the door knob and fled outside.  Okay, he does have wings, but he's terrible at flying so we doubt he did that.  So thinking about it now, we're not sure if he's fled the house, or is in here somewhere, in a very good place, trying to avoid Betsy.

Still Missing

Still no sign of our turkey brother.  We thought he might be hiding in the house, keeping out of sight of Betsy, but we've looked and looked and we can't find him.  We are becoming very concerned and are thinking of hopping out tomorrow to hang up lost turkey signs.

Missing Turkey

We're very worried.  Our turkey brother is missing, and thinking back on it, we last saw him around the time that Betsy was going on about how she wants a big TURKEY dinner for Thanksgiving!  We're afraid she frightened him, and he has now ran away from home!  How can we find him?  Do you think we should call the teddy adoption center to beg them to put out an alert?

So Happy!

We are so happy, we have almost checked every name off of the human's Christmas list! Almost done and the month of November isn't even half over yet.  We are truly excellent, excellent rabbits to have accomplished this.  So all we have to do now is to finish, wrap, and we can spend the month of December with our paws up, sipping cocoa and awaiting praise from Santa.  Almost finished with the list for the human, we will be on Santa's good bunnies list for sure!

Sad Human

The human is sad tonight, because it has been five months today since that pesky brother escaped for the second time.  He ought to be ashamed of himself for hiding out like he has been, he really should be.  The human has been sobbing, and we do not have a single piece of material for constructing raincoats, we hope he knows.  Poor human.  We wish we could make her feel better.  She's just so sad over that cat.

So Annoying

Brother isn't happy with the koalas or anyone from Australia at the moment, so we would suggest if someone is reading this and you are a koala or Australian, you should probably avoid any grey felines in case they are brother.  Really, we don't know what his problem is.  Does anyone see anything wrong with the human getting 16 more books?  We sure don't, but Brother is complaining about how so much reading material will distract her, and since the koalas were so nice about finding the sale, how it will probably result in her allowing more of them to move in.  And what is wrong with more koalas moving in?  Koalas make very nice siblings!

Sorry

We're sorry if kitty shrieks woke anyone just a few minutes ago.  Our koala siblings just got an alert to a good book sale from their fellow koalas, and of course they had to share it with the human.  We don't know what Brother's problem is.  She's only got 14 books so far and the prices are FANTASTIC!

Poor Human

The poor human is sad and crying over that evil show tonight, and wishing she had never watched it.  We kind of wish she hadn't either because she's so sad now, although we do love the siblings we gained due to it.  You don't think she might want to have them move out do you, if they remind her of the show that makes her cry?

Looked a Bit

We looked a bit for the grandhuman's Christmas gift this evening, but no luck so far.  Maybe tomorrow, although the human has to limp to the doctor, so it might be Wednesday instead.  It's such a good idea, though.  Paws crossed we can pull it off and find what we want!

Human's Idea

The human got an idea for a present for the grandhuman today.  She even checked out a few of the items in the store and was considering putting something in layaway, but she didn't see exactly what she wanted.  Which means she will need to go out shopping tomorrow.  Do you think she might need to sneak out on the bus, so the grandhuman won't suspect?  That would be fun!

Mountains Today

We went to the mountains today, to visit the lovely new teddy adoption center.  We met the nicest sister bears named Anna and Elsa and invited them to move in.  We are now up to 823 siblings!  And we found out the coolest thing.  There is a hotel in the shopping area where the teddy adoption center is, and you can get a room there that is practically above the teddy place!  We're planning a lovely little hotel stay now!
