Valentine Apologies

We would like to offer our most sincere apologies for all of the Valentine trouble.  We do hope the kitty shrieks this afternoon didn't bother anyone too much.  We hopped to the fabric store and got roughly twelve yards of material, a spool of thread and several little packets of floss for quilt construction.  Brother was not happy to say the least.  We would also like to apologize for anyone missing candy.  Betsy Bear attacked Cupid bright and early this morning and took him for any chocolate he was carrying.  We're just glad he was able to flutter away before she could get her paws on his bow and arrows.  Anyway, if you're missing a candy filled heart, the remains are in the back yard by the fence.  Please pick it up as soon as possible.  And we are sorry again for all of the trouble and noise.

Preparing for Horror

We hope everyone is preparing for the horror of the weekend when that poor fellow Cupid is supposed to take flight to spread love and candy.  Betsy has a giant net all ready for her, and her extra large snitching sack out.  We are very concerned.  Especially since the human is discussing visiting the mountains, where many other humans will be congregating to attempt to get married this weekend for the holiday.  Those poor, poor people.  As if it isn't bad enough that Betsy is planning to capture Cupid and rob him of his candy, bow and arrows, she is probably going to snitch all of those poor people's wedding cakes as well!  We just hope they bought wedding insurance, but does insurance cover Betsy Bear attacks?

Valentine's Day Apologies

It's a bit late but I would like to apologize for the Valentine's Day incident, although I really don't know why in the world you people keep trying to celebrate this holiday. Cupid is sure to sue you for endangering him, by making him fly about with Betsy Bear on a rampage. Anyway, Betsy has declared Valentine's Day a total success once again. If you're missing a candy filled heart, the remains are in the back yard, the same place as last year. Please remove them quickly before the bunnies come up with some idea for using them for gardening. And as for those of you who were foolish enough to get married yesterday, and there were a lot of you from what the television showed, honestly, you were just asking for what happened, now weren't you? Anyway, I do hope you didn't rent your cake stands, because the bunnies have already claimed them to hold plants. As for your toppers, the bunnies prefer gnomes for the garden, so come and collect them quickly before they start to remodel on them. Really, maybe next year you people will finally learn, and will spend the day hiding in your houses, so Betsy can't rob you blind.

Happy New Year, at Least For Betsy Bear

Well, another New Year is here, and I can already tell that it is shaping up to be a disaster. The humans went out to eat, and would you believe that in the gift shop of the restaurant they visited, they were putting out Valentine's items, including Valentine's candy? Needless to say, Betsy Bear was very pleased to learn of this. Really, what was that place thinking? It is six weeks until Valentine's Day! Do they really want to have merchandise in their store that will attract Betsy Bear for six weeks? They will be wiped out! And this is the place that keeps selling the human highly caffeinated cake too. I f Betsy gets her paws on that, I don't think the state, or possibly the country will survive. The only way things are kept functioning now is due to the fact that the bear occasionally snoozes, and gives the normal people time to obtain food. Six weeks, and that bear possibly getting her paws on dangerous cake. We are all doomed!

Today's Update

Sorry I didn't post yesterday. I was in hiding, in case the authorities came looking for Betsy Bear in connection to those mass thefts of Valentine's Day foods. I guess all of the weddings she raided had insurance, though, and the couples who had hearts stolen were probably looking for a good reason to break up anyway, for it seems that her crimes have gone unreported once again. Now if people would just remove the remains of their stolen food from the backyard so we can all forget about this, it would be much appreciated. I don't like the way the bunnies keep checking out those cake stands and cake tier holders, and commenting on how they would be just perfect to stack plant pots on, so for goodness sakes, if Betsy snitched and ate your wedding cake, get here and collect the remains before they give the bunnies more bad ideas!

Valentine Horrors

Well, I don't have a new sibling yet, although the bunnies keep pointing out to me that the night is still young, and Amazon is happy to provide new family members. I can only hope they do not decide to take in an elephant from there. After the horrors I have experienced today, that is the last thing that I need. Betsy was out in full force today, celebrating the day of love by looting. I do hope no one wanted to experience romance with food on this happy occasion, for if you did, you are doomed to a massive disappointment. Betsy took to the air in that purloined sled, and I'm not entirely sure what she did, and I'm not sure it's safe to know, but there are now feathers in the swimming pool, and that delinquent bear has a bow and arrows in her possession. I can only assume that she attacked Cupid for all of his heart shaped boxes of chocolate. Should your sweetheart have made the claim that one of those was purchased for you, and then went missing, please see the rabbits tomorrow to remove the remains from the backyard. Oh, and should you have been trying to get married today, well, really you ought to have known better, shouldn't you? Everyone knows that the wedding chapels do a brisk business today, and Betsy has made careful note of all of them. You can collect your cake toppers in the morning. Please line up to the left of the people collecting the remains of the boxes of chocolate.

Valentines' Day Apology

I would like to offer my apologies to anyone who planned to give their sweetheart chocolate today, only to find their purchased heart missing. You can stop by here after two tomorrow to pick up the remains. I'm afraid that Betsy had a feast. And if you were expecting Cupid to drop by, I'm very sorry about that, too, but Betsy attacked him in case he was carrying food like Santa and the Easter Bunny. I found a mass of feathers on our doorstep, but I do think he managed to escape with his life. So, if you want romance, you may have to wait until his wings grow back. You all have my apologies.
