Better, Dogs, But Not Quite
Dogs, you are doing better. I must give you an A for effort. The human dropped by the local mission this afternoon, and several of you barked rather vigorously at her. Now, the local mission is the place that keeps letting various homeless creatures trot off with the human, but this is where the problem was. The human had stopped there today, not to collect more siblings for me, but to pick up some mouse items, mouse music and mouse toys, designed to put my mice siblings in the mood to visit their big rodent cousin. That sort of thing is what I DON'T want discouraged. I suggest looking in the window, to check the items in the human's hands first, before barking from now on.

Today's Report
The human has sprained her shoulder, so they didn't go to the country today, like planned, thank goodness. I was slightly happy about that, but then the human got the idea to drop by the local mission. Apparently she wasn't up for doing work, but looking for work supplies for when she's feeling better is just fine. And you know what lurks around missions. I ended up with three more siblings, including a bear of the Christmas variety, who claims he wasn't really homeless but was dispatched early by Santa in an attempt to avoid Betsy Bear. I am now up to 698 siblings!

Another One Escaped
The mission let another one escape. Really, I know that place is supposed to help the homeless out, but why, oh why, do they keep assisting them by letting them move in here? I'm surprised they aren't offering them some sort of bus service, right to our doorstep. Another bear came trotting in this afternoon, bringing my sibling total to 675. I keep trying to comfort myself with the thought that things could be worse, and at least it isn't another bunny, but that isn't helping.

Today's Sibling Report
Well, the mission let another one out. I know that place is supposed to help the homeless, but really, do they have to help them by arranging for them to move in here? The human dropped by there this afternoon, after a visit to the doctor, and of course a bear pounced, and begged to move in. I am now up to 669 siblings. My one comfort about this bear is that at least she knows to pet with the grain of my fur, not against it.

Sibling Report
Well, the mission let another animal escape. The human dropped by there as I feared she would, after getting her glasses fixed, and of course an animal pounced on her the second she stepped in the door, demanding to be allowed to move in. At least this one was a bear, not a bunny. That is the only slightly positive thing I can see in the situation at the moment. I now have 668 siblings.

Siblings
The humans didn't go to the country today, which means the cows have at least a few more days before they are in terrible trouble with their farmer. My human had broke her glasses, and had to trot down to the glass store this morning to get them replaced. That wasn't the major problem, though. The problem was that there was a considerable wait, and you won't believe what the human did. She dropped by the local mission, and was promptly pounced on by a batch of homeless animals, who begged to come home with her. I am very sorry to say that I now have 667 siblings, including a new bunny sibling. And frankly, I am very alarmed about that rabbit. It is dressed in a little boxing outfit, including gloves. The rabbits are dangerous enough when armed with carrots. What am I going to do if there is a professional fighter bunny in the house? Really, the mission ought to be ashamed of themselves, letting so many animals escape!

Siblings
I think I need to bring a suit against our local mission, for the trouble they have caused me, these last few days. Really, I know they're supposed to help the homeless, but this is ridiculous. The human loves visiting them, and the last couple of days, every time she has stepped foot in there, she has had various animals flinging themselves on her, begging to move in. I am now up to 655 siblings, thanks to that mission, and I am very suspicious of the rabbit that the human allowed to hop in today. She claims she's much too thin, and while I have to agree that she is a smaller bunny, I don't think I want to know what she's planning, in order to stuff herself. I'm sure it's a threat to the neighbors. Couldn't the mission have stuffed her properly first, before letting her out?

The Mission
The local mission has just opened something new, that I'm sure is another teddy adoption center. Really, they now have six of these now, and it seems if there's a teddy out there in need of adoption, they all seek out my human. Of course, it wouldn't be so bad if the mission did something about reforming some of these characters before they let them out. The penguin they let waddle in here a few weeks ago, is truly a delinquent penguin, and I wouldn't be surprised to find charges for a call to Antarctica on our phone bill next month. How can I demand that these creatures be reformed and made into well mannered animals before being released from the mission?
