Human's Bed

I staked out the human's bed this morning, and what did I see, tucked under the covers with her, but that rabbit again, all snuggled up, and likely whispering horrible ideas involving seed, and who knows what else to the human. I ended up hopping up onto the bed, to try to get the bunny back under control. Not that it worked, I'm sorry to say. All the bunny did when she saw me was to pull back the covers, and offer to scoot over a bit so I could snuggle up too! The bunny wanted me to sleep with her! Really, sleeping with a bunny! She was probably hoping that her vegetarianism would rub off on me in my sleep if I had accepted her offer!

Hiding Place

If you were going to hide from a flock of delinquent bunnies, where would you hide? The rabbits are talking about the need to plant their peas, and possibly lettuce soon, and I just know they've got me marked down to assist them in this. I don't like the way those rabbits are looking at me, and waving shovels and seed bags in my direction at all. I've been scouting out hiding places to avoid them, but I'm not sure what is best. Under the bed has worked well for me for years, but then again, the rabbits could squeeze under there pretty easy, and use their little net to drag me out. Then I thought about on top of the wardrobe, but I might be easy to spot there. There's hiding in a box of quilt material too, but I'm not sure the polar bears can be trusted not to give me away. Does anyone have any suggestions? If I get stuck planting peas, I'm sure that I will be made to assist in putting in a lettuce bed next!

More Squash

The rabbits planted two bowls of something rather alarming in the squash family today. I'm starting to get concerned. They've almost filled their second bed full of squash and they're talking about digging another bed, or possibly expanding their second one to hold more of their plants. How worried should I be? They already dug up a ton more space in one of their beds this evening, and they're talking about digging even more bright and early in the morning. I wonder if I would have time to hide their little shovels before sunrise? They're making plans to put in beds for the beans very soon, and then possibly a nice, shady bed location for a ton of lettuce.
