Dogs Next Door

The dogs next door have done it this time. They assaulted a cat this afternoon. Of course, this was a terrible crime, and they do deserve to be drug away to jail for assault and cattery, but the assault isn't the worst part! When this crime was committed, the bunnies were in the den, keeping an eye out for me, and I suspect catching a garden show on TV while they were looking. The den window just happens to offer a perfect view of the scene of the crime! The rabbits are all witnesses! You should see how they're hopping about, preparing to give their testimony to the authorities! They're already looking at what earbows and outfits will look best when they have to go to court to testify against the dogs! And if they go to court, they human will likely have to accompany them! The courthouse is right down the street from the archives! I sense more genealogy research looming! Blasted dogs! Why couldn't they have behaved? Those rabbits are very industrious! What if they offer to go to the archive after the dogs are tried, to assist the human with her research? Who knows what might be acomplished!

Human and Court

I ought to tell our neighbors, when nuts from that tree rain down on their house, and break all of their windows, that they should hold the local courts totally to blame. The human trotted up there, and of course the first thing she asked was the best place to look for records on the misdeeds of her relations. And the had the nerve to TELL her so she could trot right over and round everything up. She came home with a nice stack of papers, and now has plans to hunt down more records as soon as possible, either by visiting a courthouse in another location, or by ordering microfilm! Is there no end in sight to encouragement of that awful tree's growth?

Friday's Scheduled Horror

The human's going to be dropping into a courthouse tomorrow, I am afraid. She's supposed to be there for other reasons, but I just know that she's going to use the visit for genealogical purposes as well, to hopefully find out about some more misdeeds of her ancestors! Do you think if I called the courthouse and warned them bright and early, they could ban her?

The human had to go up to the courthouse today, I'm very afraid for something connected with that family tree, since I'm sure those poor mountain and lake bears haven't managed to swear out a complaint against Betsy Bear yet. I'm sure a complaint against her would result in a visit from the SWAT team. But anyway, my prairie dog brother snuck along, and would you believe he got info on exactly where the property lines are? So now those rabbits know exactly how close to the neighbors' dwellings they can plant their stuff, and still be legal. They're sure it will open up tons more planting space for them. I wonder if the neighbors have thought of moving?
