Goodie Horrors Growing

The horrors that are those planned goodie bags are growing, I am very sorry to announce. I suggest you send all small children away from the computer now, before they can see what these horrors contain and become frightened. Either that, or before they can decide they want a bag too, and demand to attend this horrible reunion event. The bunnies have a list of materials for the bag, and the amount of stuff so far is truly terrifying. This is what is going into the bags so far: bubbles, card games, bright gel pens, play dough, cars for boys and rings for girls, frisbees, yo-yos, paddle balls, multiple pencils, kaleidoscopes, several erasers, stencils, tops, balls, mazes, puzzles, crayons and coloring books. Then there are fancy soaps and lip glosses so far for the teens. I don't want to think of what there is for the adults. And I don't like the rabbits' little list either. I know that my name is on there somewhere, probably next to one or more goodie items, that they will be expecting me to pack into the bags come reunion time!

Horror Has Begun

Well, the horror season started today, and if anyone comes checking, I do hope my loyal blog readers will let the authorities know that I was on here, warning people, and can't possibly be blamed for the horrors that struck this evening. Betsy came trotting in with a giant sack, packed full of goodies, a bit ago and I have a bad feeling that this sack is only the beginning of snitching nightmares to come. Those poor, poor children. They will need therapy for years to recover from the trauma of this weekend.

Horror Approaching

There are just a few more days until the town is hit full force with horror. I can only hope that everyone has taken precautions, and have stocked up supplies so they can hide in their homes until the worst is over. Not only are we facing Betsy's planned crime spree and mass candy theft, but noveling horror month is about to start. And just when I was starting to recover from last year's horrors too. The rabbits already have paper and pencils out, and are hard at work on ideas to give the human for this year's novel horror. I am afraid to find out what those bunnies might think up this time. It will surely put tons of bad ideas into their little rabbit heads, whatever it is.

Horror Report Day Two

The horror is even more alarming today. The human went to that horrible archive place on her lunch break, and to speak up relative hunting, she got the idea to just order every obituary in the clippings file on the names she is researching, instead of cranking through microfilm to find each one. The cranking slowed her down tremendously, but now that one comfort is gone. She came home, her arms full of obituaries that were copied at lightening speed, and are ready for poking on the tree! Run for your lives while you still can!

Horror Report Day One

The human spent the day at the horror convention, I am very sad to report, and came home happy with lots of ideas. For some insane reason, they actually let her attend a talk all about publishing, and needless to say, numerous bad ideas have been put into her head for assembling those horrible books of family tree materials. Those people should be ashamed of themselves, they really should be. My service was horrible yesterday due to the human's absence. I did not get a single nibble of cheese! And I seeing as they're allowing her back for a second day, I am anticipating more cheese denial. About the only good thing that I can see in any of this is the fact that the human took Betsy Bear with her when she left, but still, a day without that awful bear does not make up for such horror exposure, and such awful cheese denial.

I'm Home and Unfortunately so are my Siblings

Well, I'm home from jail, but unfortunately, so are all of my siblings, just full of ideas for promoting and selling those horror stories. And, in even worse news, at least for me, they have their paws full of brochures, and are looking suspiciously at me, and then at the brochures, and chattering with each other about how much fun it would be to lag me along to their next event. They're probably planning to make me accompany them to help pass out materials! What in the world am I going to do? They're looking for feline friendly hotels, and making suspicious comments about how they bet they could figure a way to pass me off as a teddy cat if necessary!

Updates from Hiding

I've been hiding for the past few days, so that I can't in any way, shape or form to blame for the antics of my siblings as they try to push their books. I very reluctantly checked my email a bit ago, and the frightening info awaiting me was so horrifying, I hesitate to share it. The rabbits are planning to attend another horrible book thing as soon as they possibly can, and they're talking about attaching seed packets to the business cards this time. I'm sure that will be a nightmare, and but the bunnies are sure that the humans will think it's a wonderful idea. She's kind of gullible, so I'm sure she'll go for it, too. As for Betsy, I try not to think of what she's done. Things to promote the books are bad enough, but I'm sure that bear has committed any number of crimes as well. There probably isn't any honey or porridge for miles around, thanks to that bear, and I'm sure she's mugged every other bear she can find for their honey too. Then there is the genealogy. That is so alarming I won't even try sharing. It would just keep you awake at night from fear.

Facebook

Should you be on Facebook, I suggest that you flee now, because that place is about to become a den of terror. Betsy Bear is looking into getting a Facebook account so she can play a variety of criminal games. They offer a shocking number of those things on there. I don't want to think of how well she will do at those sorts of things, and it is sure to encourage her to greater heights of crime. Flee now before the horror gets you!

Word Count Month Two Day Eleven

The human wrote 3038 words today, bringing the story up to 59,749 words total. She is now only 20,251 words away from her goal of 80,000 words. I'm afraid she's planning to try to get a lot of work done this weekend so that she can finish this horrible thing quickly, and hopefully get at least halfway through on the next book by the first of the year. Really, isn't there a limit to the amount of horror one year can have?

Novel Horrors Day Thirty

The month is almost over, thank goodness, but I'm afraid that it's put so many bad ideas into the human's head it isn't funny. She's been poking around online looking for a little word counter program like the one on the horrible novel writing site, and she's hopping to top the number of words she wrote this month when she gets to work in the morning on next months' writing. Oh, and there's a horrible rumor going around, too, that this thing could become a year round event! Do we really need that much horror?
