More!

I knew the day was going to be bad when I spotted one of Nick the Cat's relations in the backyard, likely robbing my nip patch. Really, I should call the police on that entire family. Anyway, the human went out, and the next thing I know, she's coming back, lagging two more siblings for me. I am now up to 685 siblings. Apparently, she stopped by a homeless shelter to ask directions to a graveyard or something, and these two bears persuaded her to take them in. And worse, she found the graveyard, and the tombstone of the cousin she was looking for, so now she's all excited, talking about getting groups of relations together for a clean-up detail and everything. I'm sure that can only lead to trouble.

Map Horror

I have some horror involving maps that I ought to report too. The human is planning on passing out a map of the family cemetery locations in the goodie bags, in case they go visiting the graveyards as part of the festivities. She wants to make sure that people won't get lost if they end up separated somehow. Anyway, she has pre-printed maps, and now she's planning to add little numbered stars representing cemeteries to customize the maps. And, of course, the bunnies offered to help. And, of course, like always, they have plans to draft me into this. Josie Rabbit just hopped in, and informed me that I have been assigned the number 5, which means I will be stuck forever between two rabbits, being forced to stick a star with a number on a map, while the bunnies insist I stick faster to keep the line moving!

Humans Have Returned

The humans are back, and unfortunately, Betsy returned with them. She smells suspiciously of honey, syrup and waffles. I'm sure she robbed the hotel the humans camped out at last night. My only comfort is that the human says it wasn't too crowded, so maybe not many people managed to loose their free breakfasts. I hate to think of those poor mountain bears, though. The human encountered another cousin at the cemetery, and got to talking genealogy. The bear had hours to run wild! Oh, and while she was out, the human developed some new, horrifying ideas for the family reunion, too. She's going to start work on that tomorrow. I just know that will lead to nothing good.

Lawnmower

The lawnmower wasn't fixed this afternoon, thank goodness. Unfortunately, the human is still making noises about a visit to the country, if for no other reason than to cemetery hunt. Honestly, her cemetery hunts are just way too dangerous! Rabbits are never supervised properly while she's poking about for graves, and Betsy is allowed to wander off and torment anyone she can find. Perhaps I ought to hide the keys.
