Squirrels

I am going to sue the squirrels for every nut that they have. One of those pests was playing around this morning, juggling nuts, I do believe, when a nut when a bit too high, and the next thing we knew, a transformer had blown. We didn't lose power here, thank goodness, but until the human found out what happened, there was much discussion amongst the teddies on whether the noise could call for an emergency evacuation of the house, and if so, the best way to lag me out. They have currently decided that the best way to do this is to stuff me into a cardboard box, and seal it with duct tape until I am safely locked in the car, and all teddies are loaded up as well. And they're talking about practicing this as well! Does anyone know where I can get a box cutter on short notice?

Snowing

It's snowing here, and needless to say, I am alarmed. The teddies are flipping through hotel brochures looking for places that we can go if the power fails, and I don't like the way they keep talking about lagging me along. What in the world am I going to do if I end up confined to one small room with my siblings for days? And the bunnies are trying to argue that we should go ahead and flee so that the human's ability to novel isn't interrupted. What if I'm trapped in the same room with her while she's writing? I'll be declared an accessory to her novel related crimes for sure! And what about Betsy Bear? I'm sure that being in the same hotel as that bear and a breakfast buffet is just asking for trouble.

More Book Doom

As if it isn't bad enough that the human is writing stuff with those teddies and the rabbits, that I'm sure will eventually land me in jail, but now she's gotten an idea for a couple of stories based on things she's found on that terrible tree of hers! She's thinking of a couple of archive trips, just to make sure she gets the entire, horrible thing down correctly! Really, how did I end up with this much bad luck? You would think with all of those rabbit feet hanging around here, I would be fairly safe from such terrible luck.

Book in a Month

I am very nervous about the latest book the human got in the mail, titled Book in a Month. I don't know what in the world will happen if the human is able to get her writing speed up to that, especially considering how many books she amuses herself working on at once. And not only do I have to worry about being forced into becoming an accessory to book research with those teddies, but when she's busily typing away, she isn't doing a single thing to supervise those bunnies! It will truly be a nightmare what they might be able to get into with the human tied up all day. I wonder if I have time to hide her book before she can finish reading it and getting horrible ideas?

Teddies

I don't like the amount of snickering I'm hearing coming from those teddies, and I especially don't like the Google search I just found on people being deathly allergic to cats. The human sticking them into all of her books has gone so far to their little heads it isn't funny, and they're making up totally insane plots to whisper to her while she sleeps. I think they're planning to use me as a murderer in a book! Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

The Woodpecker

I'm happy to say that my woodpecker tenant arrived home this afternoon from his summer vacation, and thank goodness he has given me the perfect excuse not to be drug to the countryside with those teddies. I can't possibly go off and leave my tenant to fend for himself right after arriving home, now can I? What if his hole needs some sort of repairs or other work done immediately? No, I must stay here and make sure the woodpecker is happy. There's absolutely nothing else I can do, and those teddies will just have to go to the country without me.

Book Issues

I am doomed, is all that I can say, and I totally hold the human responsible for this. Those teddies are getting much too excited about the notion of being in books, and are now claiming that I must spend all of my time with them for research purposes. They're planning to attend a Civil War reenactment in a couple of weeks, and now they're saying I must go with them! Help! I know all too well the dangers of such an event with unguarded cannons and Betsy Bear on the loose. If I'm drug along, I will end up caught by the authorities for sure as an accessory to her crimes. How do I get out of this? The other teddies are already looking at how to best pack my cat bed!

Teddy Shopping

Would you guys believe that some church had a sale of teddy sized clothing today, including numerous outfits in my pink obsessed sister Glinda Leopard's favorite shade and patterns? I'm sure you can guess what happened, especially when they had a half priced deal. Do you think the church has insurance to cover my siblings? About the only one not going after outfits was Betsy. She was raiding the church kitchen. Do you think they're likely to notice six boxes of missing cookies and that pot of hot dogs that vanished?
