Frogs and the Air
We have found another benefit to having the air hooked up once more. The sound of the air conditioner running very nicely drowns out the sounds of the nightly frog concerts, so we can actually get some decent rest! YAY for air!

The Country
We actually got to go to the country today! The air conditioner for the window was retrieved and we are relaxing in lovely coolness at the moment. Brother is sulking a bit, wanting to know why our room is all cool instead of the rooms he prefers, but he will likely join us soon, just wait and see!

Tomorrow
We're thinking of going to the country tomorrow morning, bright and early to get the portable air conditioner. You would think Brother would approve of that, but we are afraid he will take this as an attempt to meet other rabbits and gather vegetables. So we're going to have to hop out very, very quietly, and hope he doesn't realize we're going in time to start a rain dance to force us to return home!

Frog Issue
The frogs who are living in our back yard are out of control. Each night they are singing frog love songs, and there are about a million of them, each singing a different tune, so sleep is more than a bit difficult at night. Does anyone know how to demand that this song fest stop at a decent hour? And you don't want to know the size of the families these frogs have decided to have this year. They have managed to take over the entire pool with their tadpoles. How are we ever going to go swimming now?

Today's Adventure
We had quite the adventure today. Brother was drug to the chiropractor again, and a virus was found in his tummy, a virus that we are suspicious is the same one that was also found in the human's tummy. Obviously one of them infected the other, and we can only hope that we do not become infected next. Anyway, the adventure started when we tried to go home, and the car would not go into reverse. The grandhuman was panicking, and we had to retreat to the doctor's office while the human tried to phone for help. We offered to turn a movie on for Brother while we were waiting, but he complained the only films available were dog movies. Anyway, it turns out the car had became trapped on a piece of metal sticking up from the curb. What was a piece of metal doing sticking out of the curb? It seems highly dangerous to us. What were the humans who maintain the parking lot thinking?

Raspberries
Our raspberry bushes have expanded nicely, we are thrilled to say. We must have ten or twenty canes in the back yard, and they are starting to develop blooms and berries! We're going to have such yummy, yummy food soon! We can't wait to start PICKING!

Gardening Season
It has just occurred to us that gardening season is about to start, and we are not ready due to our being called to deal with Brother's issues. Do you think that this could be a plot on his part, to schedule and illness to disrupt our digging and planting? Do you think he wants us to maybe go HUNGRY come harvest time?

Smoke
One of our neighbors, possibly a neighbor who has escaped from the local funny farm, has taken to lighting a fire nightly. Can we press charges against them for this? We still have no air, and must have open windows to keep cool. Smoke odors keep creeping in, and our human is severely allergic! Surely something can be done about this situation! We are sure it is a crime!

Today's Attempt to Visit the Country
We attempted to visit the country this morning, only to be stopped by a rainstorm and hail. We are very suspicious of this sudden bad weather. Brother was at home at the time, and our new bunny neighbors swear they heard the noise of dancing coming from our house. Want to bet he danced up a storm to keep us from seeing the country?

And now the weatherman is sending us WIND! Wind that will probably knock down our power lines and take our fans out. And we will be planting the big pumpkins on the hill leading to his little weather center TOO!

Return of Heat
It is getting hot once more. How very, very annoying, and our air isn't fixed yet either, so it will be back to using our ears for fans again, we fear. Really, this weather is driving us crazy, first hot and then cold and now back to hot again. And how are we to manage putting our garden out if the weather won't co-operate with us?
Monday, May 19, 2014
Monday Weather
More nippiness today, but there are rumors of impending heat. That might be good, but then again with the continued lack of air, it might be bad. Really, why must the weather constantly torment such nice little bunnies?
Sunday, May 18, 2014
Still Cold
It is still nippy out, and annoying. We think we might check online later for the proper charges to press against the weather man for this. Really, causing such annoying, awful weather surely counts as cruelty to bunnies, right?

Today's Sibling Report
We visited a church event today. At their last event they had lovely cookies and baked goods, and we were hoping for a repeat, and possibly the chance to at least get a few crumbs before Betsy pounced. No food, but we did meet the nicest unicorn and owl, who were looking for a home. We now have 809 new siblings! Needless to say, Brother was not impressed. No food, and more siblings.

New Bunny Family
We spotted two bunnies who are new to the neighborhood lounging under one of the azaleas yesterday. We're assuming they are a rabbit couple, which means we can soon expect a herd of bunny offspring soon. Won't that just make Brother so happy, having tons of new bunny neighbors?
Wednesday, May 14, 2014
Horrible Heat
It is miserably hot here. So, so annoying. We are using our ears as fans, but for the first time, it doesn't seem like it is doing much to cool us off. Can we charge the air conditioner repairman with cruelty to rabbits for not getting out here faster to restore our nice cool air?

Continued Feeding of Healthy Things
Brother being dosed with healthy things continues, and tomorrow we are thinking of poking a spice that is supposed to be good for you down him. Do you think we need to give him any sort of warning about that, or spring it on him before he can escape? Really, it looks yummy to us, so we don't know why he would object. And haven't the last two things we have feed him for his health worked out well so far?
Saturday, May 10, 2014
Food Co-Op
We went to the food co-op today, and got more stuff to feed Brother. He complained terribly when we poked the gel cap of the pro-biotics down him this afternoon, but then he was hopping around, chasing his fish, and running wild tonight, so we think he does not have a right to complain. Tomorrow, he starts on vitamins!
Friday, May 9, 2014
More Healthy Stuff
We think we will be hopping to the food co-op tomorrow, in search of more healthy items for Brother. He's been so cooperative about gulping down the silver. We can only hope this bodes well for him agreeing to take other healthy things as well. Perhaps he will even be willing to embrace a vegetarian lifestyle soon!
Thursday, May 8, 2014
Silver
We have taken to dosing Brother with collodial silver for his health. We can't believe it, but he actually seems to like it. He is willingly gulping down something that is good for him. What is next, eating carrots?

Brother Problem
Brother potentially has some sort of awful virus now, and the human is in a panic, so our posts might be a bit shorter. We're going to have to make arrangements to drag him off to the chiropractor for potential virus location and killing. And then to the food co-op to stock up on heathy items to improve his immune system. And these items are one aisle over from seeds, so they should be a snap to find, too!
Tuesday, May 6, 2014
Hot
The weather has suddenly taken a turn for the hot side, and we still do not have air. So, so annoying, although we are seeing some pluses. The heat makes Brother sleepy, so he's less likely to try to pounce on us, and since we have to use or ears for fans, he doesn't have a chance of grabbing and pulling them!

Threat, We Are Sure
Brother is not happy with his diet, and we are sure his latest remarks count as serious threats. He spotted one of us in the kitchen today, getting a salad, and he remarked on how DELICIOUS she looked! DELICIOUS! That is a THREAT! A threat to snack on a rabbit!
Sunday, May 4, 2014
Continuing Freedom
Brother remains free. This is starting to alarm us. He's been on his diet several days now, and the humans are letting him roam free where innocent bunnies are available to pounce on. Can you see the potential danger in this? We must arm ourselves with carrots right away for self defense!

Brother is Out
The grandhuman decided to pen Brother last night, but that just means tonight is his first night of freedom. And even worse, he is now on a DIET due to his fooling the humans and convincing them to let him stuff himself silly for three months. What if he gets hungry? We do not want a potentially hungry cat roaming free! What if he decides he would like to munch on one of US?
Friday, May 2, 2014
Worried
We are worried. The humans are letting Brother spend the night out of his pen, and the thoughts of what he might get up to while they are snoozing is about to give us nightmares. What if he spends the night stalking us, trying to grab us by the ears and drag us around? How will we ever get to sleep with him on the loose?
Thursday, May 1, 2014
More Points
We are almost ready to get another 25 dollar gift certificate for the human, and you should hear the kitty complaints. We're not sure what the certificate should be, though. Brother Report
Well, the vet called and said that perhaps Brother didn't steal those worms after all. He was so thrilled that we might be forced to let him out of pen arrest until we pointed out that this means he's plump and might need to DIET! Now he's insisting he is a worm thief and should be locked away at once. Think we ought to believe him?

Worm Theft Punishment
Brother is confined to his pen as a punishment for his theft of those worms. Does anyone know how long we should make him stay on pen arrest? We don't know what in the world he was thinking, snatching worms that belong in the garden working.
Monday, April 28, 2014
The Vet
Brother got drug to the vet today, for the rest of his shots, and we got the happy news that he has probably managed to steal a batch of worms that we are sure were meant to be tilling the soil in our garden. Stealing worms, he should be ashamed. And he has no right to complain about how he lost valuable arm fur after his latest antics.

We had a lovely Sunday. We got to visit the country cottage, and now the humans are talking about going back this week. Won't Brother love that? His first trip since his recapture. Such a NICE Day
Today was so nice, despite Brother's complaints. First, those bunnies made the TV again this morning, promoting good will and bunnies even further. Television
Brother is so unhappy with the local tv station tonight! They aired a video a couple of rabbits made, and it is now becoming wildly popular online. We don't see what the problem is, but Brother is ranting and raving about how the station is encouraging rabbits by airing such things without a warning, and it will serve them right if our garden takes over their station this year, which seeing as the station is two blocks away, a bit on an invasion is possible, we suppose. But still, the bunny video was WONDERFUL!

Still More Growth
The tree is growing even more. Oh, Brother so deserves this punishment after the growth he is planning. Four feet! Why would he want to be four feet tall? Family Tree Punishment
To punish Brother for his family tree, and planned excessive growth, we have offered to help the human with her tree research some more. Brother's Family Tree
We just found out something alarming about Brother's family tree. The humans think that he has kitty relations in MAINE! Do you know how large kitties from that place get? They can be four feet TALL! Four feet! How will we manage Brother if he's that size? He'll be able to drag us instead of the other way around!

Our Leader!
We had a lovely time visiting with our leader today, and then five of us hopped out for dinner with the humans. Brother is probably doomed to the naughty list, though, for his actions. Leader is on his Way
We're so excited, we don't know how we will sleep tonight! Our leader is on his yearly hopping trip, loaded down with goodie baskets! And we think we have gotten Brother a bit concerned too, with our tail of bunnies now handling the naughty and nice list. We told him he will get his preliminary goodness rating TOMORROW when our leader hops in! And that once a rating is assigned, it will take a ton of goodness to change it. So now he thinks he just has hours to figure out how to impress a rabbit and avoid the naughty list! Such fun!

Attempted Sabotage
Brother is attempting to sabotage the computer, possibly to keep us from earning more gift certificates to adopt more siblings. He came in here this evening and had the nerve to attack the power cord! What was he thinking? Well, we hope he knows that should he damage that so the human has to race to get an emergency replacement, the cost is coming out of his food budget!
Tuesday, April 15, 2014
Hehehehe
We're sure Brother will be very annoyed when he realizes, but we almost have enough points for several new siblings. And with the big bunny holiday fast approaching, we're sure this new sibling should be a BUNNY! We're thinking of getting the human to take a bus this weekend to go on a sibling hunt. We wonder when we should tell Brother?

Our Leader
We don't think Brother has thought to check the calendar yet, so do you think we ought to let him know that our leader will be hopping by this weekend? Siblings
So many churches were having events today. The humans went to a few, and of course they happened to run into a few homeless teddies. We think one of the bears was supposed to be entertainment at the car show this church was hosting. She was certainly dressed for it with pompoms and everything, but as soon as she spotted the human, she was begging to go home with her. We do hope that church didn't really need the extra entertainment. Then the human met another bear and a bunny at a singing at another church. Three new siblings all together! The sibling count is now up to 805! You don't want to know how Brother took this happy news.

Today
We didn't go to the archive again today, although the human really wanted to. Brother was happy at first, but now he's ranting and raving and demanding to know why he hears us tapping on the computer, and are we using it to research the family tree through the census. We wonder how long we should let him wonder before letting him know that we think we have found another relation online?

Family Tree
Lovely news! We found Cousin Cordelia today, and she had the good fortune to marry someone with an odd name, so we think tracking down the rest of her family will be a breeze as a result. We hope the kitty screams as a result of this lovely news didn't bother anyone, Really, Brother has now right to threaten to sue Cousin Cordelia and her entire family just because she didn't hide well enough, and we were able to track her down!

Tomorrow's Plan
Little does Brother know what we have planned, and hopefully we can keep things that way. The human got an idea about tracing some difficult relatives, and now she is thinking about a little visit to the archives tomorrow. Perhaps we will hop out with her before the cat gets up. Here's hoping he is extra lazy in the morning.

Human Books
Brother isn't happy, but we are, as we just earned the human a lovely, giant book certificate. We still don't understand why he objects so much to our earning books for her. We even got a great deal on a book full of ideas for kitty snacks once. Shouldn't he be our best friend forever for arranging the purchase of this volume?

Mouse Movies
Our mouse siblings' large cousin just makes the BEST movies and TV shows! Really, we can't think of better programing and entertainment. That mouse is some sort of film genius! We hopped to another of his films today and it was great, and then there were the ads for his upcoming movies too. Such a clever, clever mouse to do all he is doing. He's sure that our attending them will put ideas into our heads about visiting the mouse's home in Florida, and just as vegetable season is starting too. Brother keeps trying to sneak into the fridge, and we are sure he is up to no good. There is no fish in there, and he keeps heading for the vegetable crisper every time he tries to hop in. We suspect he has plans for sabotaging our salads! The nerve of that cat!
Wednesday, April 2, 2014
Watching
The grandhuman is allowing Brother entirely too much freedom. She keeps allowing him out of his pen, and when he isn't glaring at our plants, he trots in her and glares at US! Do you know how hard it is to accomplish anything with Brother glaring? How are we supposed to help the human earn books, or the family tree to grow with Brother watching us all the time?
Tuesday, April 1, 2014
Planting
The human has to limp to the doctor today, so we didn't get our seed planted. Hopefully tomorrow we will, though. And it is definitely going to be poked next to Brother's little pen. After how he kept glaring at our squash when the grandhuman let him loose for a bit, as if he was wishing a horrible fate on it, he deserves a vegetable neighbor. And a melon neighbor!
Monday, March 31, 2014
New Seed
Brother doesn't know it yet, but when the human was picking up the bunny vitamins yesterday, she also got two more packs of seed for us, a pack of watermelon and a pack of tomatoes. We're thinking of planting them tomorrow. Won't Brother be so pleased with that, and we swear we are letting the watermelon move in next to HIS heater!

More Brother Complaints
Now Brother is complaining because the human bought us a bottle of bunny vitamins. Vitamin A, an excellent vitamin for bunnies, and the bottle was on sale, too, so we got a really good deal. You would think Brother wants us to be unhealthy with how he is complaining!

New Siblings
We happened to visit a church that was having the nicest bake sale today, and we ran into the nicest teddy kitty and pup. They happened to be homeless, and of course what could we do but invite them to move in right away. We have 802 siblings now. We thought Brother would actually be happy, at least about the kitty. After all, he's a cat. Shouldn't he approve of us giving a home to his fellow feline? But he is claiming that her teddyishness outweights her felineness, and that we should be ashamed of letting more siblings in. There is no pleasing that cat!

Not Again!
Not again! We just heard the weatherman mentioning possible snow lurking in the forecast once more! Shouldn't such continuing snowy weather violate some sort of law, possibly the one about cruel and unusual punishment? The start of gardening season gets pushed back further with every flake that falls, so it is surely nightmarishly cruel punishment for rabbits!
Thursday, March 27, 2014
Tomorrow's Weather
We are expecting rain tomorrow, but when we hopped out with the human to her doctor's appointment, we couldn't help but notice it was rather nippy out. What if it turns cold enough for this expected rain to turn into snow? We wouldn't be surprised if Brother arranged something like that, to lull us into a false sense of security and then hit us with more SNOW!
Wednesday, March 26, 2014
At Least It Melted
At least the snow melted. That is one good thing, anyway. We were sure with how hard it was coming down last night that we were doomed to a blizzard. But now we have more worries. What if Brother gets disappointed this latest snow didn't inconvenience us for longer, and decides to dance up more bad weather?
Tuesday, March 25, 2014
Today's Weather
You won't believe this, but we have more SNOW! Isn't Brother getting tired of dancing up snow by now? You would think he would be tired of it, but apparently not. We have got to find a store that sells little chains for kitten paws, to stop this dancing. Surely some store has them. We are never going to accomplish a thing with snow on the ground every time we turn around! What is Brother thinking? You would think he would want there to be decent weather so at least we could hop out of the house, wouldn't you? After all, he's always complaining about how many of us are in here. Why wouldn't he want us to be able to go outdoors?
Monday, March 24, 2014
Helping the Human
In addition to complaining about the movies we watch, now Brother is complaining once more about hearing us clicking on the computer, and helping the human earn free books. We just ordered another 25 dollars worth of book certificates, and you should have heard the resulting kitty shouts that resulted as we clicked order. We don't know why Brother objects so to the books. Some of the books the human gets star kitties. Shouldn't Brother approve of the human reading such literature?

Hopping Encouragement
We managed to get out of the house and to that lovely frog film. So nice, and there was so much hopping in it. We feel bouncy just thinking about all of the frog leaps and Brother feels annoyed. He shouldn't be surprised, though, The movie is by our mouse siblings' large cousin, and Brother knows he's a friend to bunnies. Of course he would encourage hopping!
Saturday, March 22, 2014
Movie Tomorrow
We're scheduled to see a lovely frog film tomorrow, but we're not sure how in the world we are going to get out of the house. Brother is pitching a fit because he heard us discussing this movie, saying it can only lead to the encouragement of hopping. He'll probably try to escape his pen if he hears us at the door. Do you think we could poke earmuffs over those pointy little ears of his, so we could leave the house safely?

More Seed Space
We hopped out with the humans today and got another lovely little pan to convert into a mini-greenhouse for our seed. It's deeper than our other one, so we think we might move our maturing squash seedlings in there to allow space for other plants in the other pan. Needless to say, Brother was not happy, but really, we don't think he has a case at all for suing the store who sold this to us, for encouraging the growth of massive amounts of vegetables.

And we are suspicious of this missed call, for who is living right next to the phone but BROTHER! We bet he managed to somehow damage the phone and block this call during one of his little escapes from his pen. Now our poor human has to wait over a week to see the doctor and Brother gets to avoid any fur loss for even longer!

Finally
The human is feeling much better, finally. But now she is concerned that this extended illness might be due to the return of her cat allergy. So Brother is going to have to provide more fur samples to be taken to the doctor so the human can be desensitized. We wonder how much fur we will need to collect? Brother is rather fluffy, so we think we could easily get a lovely bushel of fur. (hehehehehehehe)

Today's Human Report
The human is feeling a little better today, but she has still left us in charge while she is taken to her bed with the yucky cold. The doctor called in another five days of antibiotics, so we are anticipating running things for at least that long. Won't Brother be so pleased when we give him that lovely news!

Human's Illness
The human is still sick. Poor human. Her nose is bright red, and her cheeks and ears are all achy still. She's feeling a tiny bit better than yesterday, but it looks like we're going to be in charge of Brother for who knows how long due to this. We wonder what sort of salad he would like for breakfast tomorrow?

The Tub
Perhaps Brother is showing some signs of improvement! He actually leaped into the bathtub today! Granted, there was no water in it at the time, but we can still hope that it is a good sign. Perhaps he is even thinking of doing a bit of work that would result in his fur needing to be scrubbed afterwards. Wouldn't that be perfect?

Smoke
Our neighbor decided to clear some land today, we believe in preparation for gardening season. Normally, we would be thrilled by this, but he decided to clear this land with a minor fire. Fire and our poor human is highly allergic to smoke! What in the world was that human thinking? Our poor human's a poor, red nosed, stopped up allergic mess now as a result.

Human's Still Sick
The human's still sick and spent most of the day in bed. And Brother spent most of the day pitching a huge fit over the fact that we are in charge of things. We're surprised the human managed to sleep through his ranting, but the anti-histamine did a good job of knocking her out at least. Poor human. And there's a book sale she wants to limp to tomorrow too.

The Human
The poor human is sick with a cold, so our post will be very short tonight. Due to her illness, and doping on anti-histamines, we have been placed in charge of feeding Brother! We're sensing a ton of salads in his future!

True Horrors
It is horrible, truly horrible! Snow is falling! Ice is falling! How are we going to break ground for our garden with such terrible, awful weather? It just started a bit ago, and it looks terrible out there, all wet and cold and utterly unsuitable for gardening. And we are sure Brother is somehow to blame. Just because we have threatened to put him to work gardening, that is no reason to dance up such awful weather!

On TV
We were watching TV with Brother again tonight, or rather trying to watch tv over his complaints about the show. There wasn't a pair of long, floppy ears or a fuzzy cotton tail in sight, so we don't know what he had such a problem with. Anyway, we saw a sign for a dancing show while we were viewing our program, and now we are concerned. What if Brother watches this show and gets bad ideas? It's on our mouse siblings' large cousin's network. Do you think he checks out the dances, to make sure they are safe for public viewing, and more importantly for kitten viewing, before airing them? Brother does NOT need to learn more weather dances!

Horrible Weather Report
It is horrible, just horrible! The weather is once more calling for SNOW! We should have known Brother was up to something with how he has been hopping around, but we didn't think he would be this evil to our poor human. She is in even worse pain tonight, and it is all that kitten's fault! We ought to put chains on his paws to prevent any more weather dances! And he tries to complain about bunnies dancing.

Television Tonight
We watched some lovely programing by our mouse brother and sister's large cousins this evening, and we had Brother watch with us. You would have thought he was being tortured instead of entertained from the fit that he pitched as soon as we drug him to his seat in front of the tv. We don't know why he has a problem with family entertainment, but he kept ranting about it being some part of a mouse plot, and he doesn't want to see the bad weather that this block of episodes will cause after how the show's Frankenstein episode triggered that minor storm up North. Such a paranoid kitty. Just because this show features the witch from Oz. There is no reason to assume tornadoes will hit at any time.

Poor, Poor Human
The human is feeling awful tonight with her poor, poor leg. And her doctor is out of town next week so there will be no relief for her, except this mint oil she has been using that works a tiny bit. Do you think we ought to plant some nice mint seeds for her? Maybe fresh plants would work better, and we are SURE the aggressiveness of the mint plant has been exaggerated.

More Seed Progress!
Things are going so well! Our lemon cucumber is already sprouting, so we went ahead and moved it into the container with the squash and peppers. And then we moved loofa gourd, pear gourd and honeydew or cantaloupe melon seeds into the bag for sprouting! This is working GREAT! by the time we start to break ground on our garden, we are sure to have a ton of plants. We just wish Brother would stop complaining. A few hundred melon or cantaloupe seeds are NOT a threat to society as we know it!

Seed Progress
Our seed are doing so well, in their new little home in front of the heater, we can't wait to get a few more dishes of seed started, and we think the next batch will be located next to Brother's heater. We just have to select the plants we want to be his neighbors. We think some watermelon, and possibly squash will keep him in line nicely, don't you think? Maybe cucumbers will keep him under control too.

We got a lovely letter from the local teddy adoption center today, looking for homes for the nicest looking bunnies. Monday Human Report
The human is still in pain, and we are still convinced Brother is somehow to blame. Maybe he is hoping to cripple her even worse so he can do whatever he wants. Only a thin bit of mesh protects us from him, after all, and when the human let him have a bit of freedom in her room a little while ago, he delighted in pushing some of us around. We are going to have to keep a close, close eye on that cat.

Saturday Report
Brother isn't happy with us. We hopped out with the human this morning, and managed to find eight lovely quilt books packed full of patterns that we just had to get. Then we paid a little visit to the co-op to try to find something to help the human's poor, poor leg. There were the nicest farmers there, from a location near Brother's former hiding place in the country. They had little grass samples that they said were excellent for kitties. We grabbed one right away! Now Brother is going to be forced to munch GRASS! It's only a short step from grass to VEGETABLES!

Library Plans
We're wanting to hop to the library tomorrow. Perhaps if we sneak out early, while Brother is still snoozing, we can dodge him, and his demands to know what were are planning to check out. We wonder where the giant pumpkin seed will be shelved. Do you think it will be under pumpkin, or under giant vegetables?

Seed and the Library
We just read the nicest article about libraries letting patrons check SEED out for planting purposes. We're going to have to check out all of the libraries we have access to, to see about signing up for this program right away. We bet the country libraries offer this service for sure, and since we all have little cards from several different libraries there we are seeing much seed in our future. Perhaps we will even force Brother to get a card or two, so he can check seed out as well!

The poor human is still in pain, not helped by Brother unleashing his claws on her hand a bit ago. See if that hand feeds him again after that. We are very worried about the weather tonight. The human is in agony, and we fear it is a sign that Brother has danced up some impending disastrous weather. Rotten Brother. We got a lovely little harness to fasten Brother into, to try to keep him in line today, but would you believe that kitten managed to squirm out of it? It's too big! And it was the only size they offered, too, so we'll have to wait for Brother to grow into it! How annoying. We were so looking forward to having Brother in that harness at the end of a leash, being forced to be a good kitty for a change!

Family Tree Growth
We hope the kitten ranting hasn't disturbed anyone. Brother is a bit ticked over some growth on the family tree, and of course he just has to share his opinions with everyone. The human has found more relatives, and is just waiting to be able to call them to discuss the tree. And better still, these relatives are interested in family books, which can only lead to the human SELLING things! Brother is now threatening to hide the phone, and to take an axe to the tree. Poor human. Her leg is still bothering her, which makes us very suspicious that the weather forecast calling for snow in the morning is correct. Rotten Brother. The snow is here, we are alarmed to report. There must be a good four or five inches already on the ground with more falling all the time. And even more alarming is the amount on the power lines. We refuse to stay in this house if we loose power! We just hope Brother will consent to be a good hotel guest if necessary. We have already looked up possible rooms to drag him to!

Snow Threat
We are being threatened with snow, starting tomorrow afternoon and we're wondering if we ought to suspect Brother of being somehow responsible. Maybe all of that jumping and bouncing that we thought was mouse abuse was actually a snow dance! Well, we just hope he knows that if we get the amount of snow that is now expected, the polar bears have plans to move in with him for warmth! Mice Siblings and Brother
Our mice siblings are a bit put out with the human tonight. She gave Brother a mouse toy this afternoon, and they aren't happy with how he has been treating, batting it, and swatting at it, and popping it on it's little mouse head, and pulling on its tail. They're sure the toy will give him horrible ideas, and after that, it is only one step from the toy to one of them. Do you suppose they do have a right to be worried?

Brother and Our Room
The humans put Brother in our room today, when the grandhuman got the vacuum out. What did we ever do to deserve such a punishment? We were afraid we would require bandages, but luckily he wasn't able to escape from his kitty carrier to get his paws on us. We're sure he had something awful in mind. The door was shut, and we were trapped. Goodness knows what might have happened if he had gotten loose!
Saturday, February 8, 2014
Today's Brother Report
The humans decided to allow Brother to run around the living room with the doors closed for a bit this afternoon. Why do we suspect that was their first mistake? He amused himself poking his nose into everything, and one of our teddy siblings who was loitering in the living room didn't like the looks the cat was giving him at all. We're sure that this bit of freedom has only served to put bad ideas into Brother's head. Oh, and the humans let him get his little paws on a ribbon! We're sure that ribbon was teddy property and now it has paw prints all over it!

Relatives
Do you suppose we need to send a note of warning to the relations of poor Cousins Lester and Kathy? These relations happened to amuse themselves dying within the last week, and of course they had lovely obituaries appear in the paper that allowed the family tree to sprout several new branches. Needless to say, Brother was not pleased, and is threatening to see their survivors in court. Isn't it bad enough that they had to pay for two funeral flower arrangements in a week? We really don't think they need court costs too!

Brother Today
Brother was such a naughty kitty today. He has only been back here a week, and you will never guess what he has done. For some reason, he has decided the vacuum cleaner is an instrument of evil, possibly because he fears that someone might get the idea he should use it for work purposes. Anyway, the human was holding him when the grandhuman switched the vacuum on, and the next thing she knew, he was on her shoulder, heading for her head if he hadn't been stopped in time. So now the human is all bandaged as a result of being turned into a climbing post. Brother should be ashamed!

Sibling Reward
We found out the nicest thing when we were working on that points program that allowed us to adopt our newest siblings. We got bonus points for adopting our new smurf and chipmunk brothers through them, points that can then be put towards another adoption! We tried to be quiet so Brother wouldn't know of our good points luck, and hopeful future siblings, but he heard us somehow, and now he is threatening to sue the points program for encouraging us, and exposing him to massive amounts of potential siblings.

Our new siblings arrived today. They would have been here earlier, but they were delayed due to the weather. Groundhogs and Summer
We are DOOMED! We suggest that you all run out, and stock up on coats right now, before the stores start to foolishly try to put out their summer merchandise, and make sure you have plenty of wood. It is horrible, absolutely horrible, and the human who is to blame should be tarred, feathered and drug into a court of law to give an account of himself right away. Yesterday was Groundhog's Day, and.... It's almost too horrible to write, but you must be warned. Some foolish human DROPPED a groundhog! Our groundhog siblings, Gregory and Gianna Groundhog, have been emailing with their fellow groundhogs all day, and we believe that the current groundhog decision is to cancel summer as punishment! No summer! We are DOOMED!

Not Even 24 Hours
Brother couldn't even manage 24 hours without pulling something. He should be so ashamed. This morning, while the grandhuman was at church, Brother pulled a starving kitten act. The human opened his pen, and let him out for just a second. He fooled her totally, acting all timid and like he would dart back into the pen at any moment, so she took her eyes off him for five seconds. Needless to say, when she looked up, he had made a break for it, heading for his old hiding place amongst the books in the den. Luckily he forgot his legs are shorter at the moment, and the human was able to catch him before he pulled a disappearing act into the fiction section. Not even 24 hours. It must be some sort of record we are sure!

He's Here!
He's here! He's here! Oh, happy day! After all of this time, we've finally recaptured Brother! He's all tucked up in his little playpen, in his snug little kitty bed, and we even got him a special box, just for the pen and travel purposes too! We are so happy that we finally have him back where he belongs. One of our teddy kitty sisters even plans to camp in there tonight, just to keep an eye on him. So, so happy! The ones for infant humans aren't that good! Now if we can just get Brother to poke him in it. Kitten Supplies
Brother will be so pleased to learn that we have bought a little playpen for him, like the poke infant humans in. We saw it in a catalogue and thought it would be lovely. When we go to the country cottage now, he can sit out in the porch in that, and there will be no worries about him going anywhere. Not that he was big on the outdoors, and trotting anywhere he didn't have to on his own four paws anyway, but it will make the humans feel safer. Really, there are so many things for infant humans that would work for Brother too. We're now thinking of buying a litter genie pail, also to make travel easier. Power
We can't believe this, and we are so suspicious of the timing. The breaker box, powering the house just tripped, causing half the outlets to lose power, specifically, the outlets providing power to the space heaters keeping us warm! The neighbor was able to fix it, but now we are very nervous. Snow is due tomorrow, and what if this happens again? We wonder if we ought to flee to a hotel to be on the safe side tonight? Brother must have something to do with this. We had his recapture all planned, possibly for tomorrow and now this. He should be ashamed of himself! Trying to freeze innocent bunnies!

We hope the kitty screams didn't alarm anyone. We arranged for a chipmunk and a smurf to move in today, and Brother doesn't seem to be happy. We had no more than made their travel arrangements, when he texted us, demanding that we cancel their flight right away! That kitty isn't living here at the moment. We don't know why he thinks he has the right to declare who should and should not be allowed to move in when he isn't a resident himself!

Cafes
We were hard at work, getting the human more books, when we saw the most interesting article! It appears that a group of bunnies are now employed at a cafe in Japan, helping out poor, stressed out humans! And even better, these rabbits have led a batch of cats away from a life of sloth and laziness, and onto the path of virtue and work, with the felines going to work in a cafe next door! Let's hear it for these paragons of bunny virtue and their newly converted feline friends! Maybe we should ask our leader the Easter Bunny to declare these industrious cats honorary BUNNIES!

Books and Yarn
We're getting text messages like crazy from Brother, complaining about all of the book earning he is hearing, and how if we don't stop at once, he will turn us in to the authorities. We're not sure what authorities he suspects will be interested in this. We know our leader, the Easter Bunny, highly encourages this sort of thing, and we're sure Santa does too, to save sleigh space. And, to make matters worse, that cat is refusing to tell us where he stashed the brown yarn so we can get to work making hats for our outdoor bunny friends!

Missing Yarn
We just realized that the brown balls of yarn are missing! We were looking for them so we could knit hats for our outdoor bunny friends, so they could keep their ears nice and warm. The brown color would match their fur nicely, and would be all snuggly warm for them. But the balls of yarn have vanished! Do you think Brother could have suspected we might need them for something, and he hid them to prevent our using them? We wouldn't put it past him.

Yarn
It just occurred to us that when Brother is finally recaptured, he might try to reclaim his balls of yarn. We don't know why he thinks he needs them. All he did is bat them around, he never tried to do anything useful with the yarn. Anyway, to be on the safe side, weren't working on a bit of knitting to make bunny items before Brother can stop us. Here's hoping he can't here the unwinding of thread!

Book Certificates
We've nearly earned another 25 dollar book certificate for the human, we are happy to report. Needless to say, Brother isn't happy at all, and he has been texting like crazy, demanding we cease all book earning activities at once. Really, what does he have against our helping our human out? Is he afraid that the human might start seeing the benefits of bunnies, and might ask another one to move in? We think that ship sailed LONG ago!

More Crime
We keep finding out about more crime on the internet. Now we have learned that someone has organized a group of MONKEYS into a criminal gang! Someone has led poor, innocent monkeys into a life of crime, and we are very suspicious that Betsy and her criminal relations know something about this. When we spotted the video about these monkeys Betsy happened to be passing while we were viewing, and we didn't like the way she chuckled at all. Corrupting monkeys! We ought to turn that bear in to the LAW!

Robot Bears
We were helping the human earn more free books, only to stumble on the most frightening news. Some poor country plans to unleash a fleet of robot BEARS to assist the elderly! What did the elderly ever do to them, to deserve such a punishment? Betsy Bear has been talking lately about hacking, we are alarmed to note. We thought she was planning to hack into a few hives, with a hatchet, to relieve bees of their honey, but now we fear she is plotting to take control of these bears and convert them for her criminal purposes. Those poor, elderly people! They are DOOMED!

Anniversary
Rotten Brother. It's been a year today since he abandoned us. Really, he ought to be ashamed of himself. We have had to use the hair dryer for our poor, wet fur. Do you know how damaging such heat is to soft, silky fur. Brother will be working forever to earn the money for our visit to a fur stylist once we recapture him, is all we can say. We're slightly optimistic we will get to go and hunt down that rat tomorrow. We just hope he doesn't get suspicious and try his paws at that snow dance once more to prevent his recapture.

Thursday
No kitten today, and the human spend the day in tears as a result. We don't want to think about what tomorrow, the anniversary of Brother's desertion, will be like. We feel slightly damp just imagining it. He ought to be ashamed of himself, and when we catch him, we are putting him to work, to earn the money to have our fur cleaned and styled after the tear damage!

No Hunt Today
Due to the grandhuman having to rush the car off for repairs this morning, we weren't able to go on our scheduled kitten hunt today, and now we are very, very worried. The one year anniversary of Brother's desertion is coming up on Friday, and the human is going to be totally crushed if she doesn't have him back by then. And recapturing him doesn't look good, at least recapturing him before Friday doesn't look good. We are going to end up with our poor fur SOAKED! Do you think we might have time to purchase raincoats and hats to try to protect ourselves?

Cell
We purchased a cell to poke Brother in, for when we recapture him, so he can be drug back home without exposing us to those claws of his. We were wanting to get little chains for his paws too, but we weren't sure what size of cuffs he would need. Hopefully we will find out tomorrow, though, if the snow that one of the human's relations mentioned doesn't hit before we can go trotting out to drag the fugitive kitty back.

Brother Will Regret His Hiding Place
We are absolutely sure that awful kitty is hiding up in the country, and he is going to be so sorry that he ever thought of ducking up there to try to keep us from recapturing him. His hiding place has made the human think of the country cottage, and how much fun it would be to go up there, and snuggle up in the big, old iron bed she has there, where she can read for hours and hours, or lounge in the living room and watch the lake. And she's thinking of how much easier the cottage would be to keep warm, since it's small, too. Won't brother be so pleased when we catch him. He might be drug away to live in the country FOREVER!

Paranoid Texts
Brother has been sending us paranoid texts ever since the human's spotting of those cute baby bunnies. He keeps demanding to know why he is hearing her talking about adorable ears, and such soft fur, and such sweet eyes. We wonder how paranoid over the situation we should let him get before giving him the happy news that he might be about to replaced by a BUNNY? The human really did like them, and bunnies would be so much more loyal. We think we will show her a few more cute rabbit pictures, and maybe she will be convinced for sure.

Bunnies
Brother is not going to be happy when he learns of this, but we don't care. He so deserves this. The human dropped by a store today, and spotted five of the nicest baby bunnies! She looked at them for the longest time, admiring their long ears, and their soft looking fur and how small and sweet they looked. We think she might be seriously interested in inviting one to move in. Oh, we can't wait for Brother to find out that the human might be seriously looking at replacing him with a BUNNY!

More Troubles
On top of the ill relation's husband, now the humans have ran into car trouble. They discovered this morning that something was wrong with the brakes and a wheel! What in the world is going on? Has Brother found some sort of way to fill our house will bad luck to prevent his recapture?
Thursday, January 9, 2014
Human Problem
It looks like recapturing Brother might have been delayed once more. One of the human's relations' spouses has taken ill, and it looks like the humans might be forced to rush off to offer comfort instead of hurrying to the country to recapture Brother. Maybe we could email the place we suspect Brother is hiding at, and see if we could put a deposit down on him, to get him held captive until we can get up there to collect him?

Still Cold
It's still cold, but we decided to email the humans being punished with Brother to see if they will poke a layaway sign on him, until we can get up there and collect him. Won't he just love that, being marked as captured? Well, it serves him right, after all of the trouble he has caused, is all that we can say.

Tuesday Weather
It is still cold, snowy and icy here, and we are sure that cat is to blame. Just wait until we get our paws on him! We are having to search for earmuffs now! do you know how hard it is to find earmuffs to fit big bunny ears?

Weather Today
There is snow and ice on the ground, with more on the way. And naturally, this means we can't get out, and can't recapture Brother until the weather improves. We are highly suspicious of this. Snow and ice. Even the poor humans being punished with Brother are stuck at home, unable to poke a layaway sign on Brother due to the weather. How in the world did he find information on a snow dance?
Sunday, January 5, 2014
Ice
We are scheduled to get ice tomorrow. We wonder if we should suspect Brother of some involvement in this. As long as there is ice, we won't be able to get out and recapture him, after all. Are there such things as ice dances?
Saturday, January 4, 2014
Rotten Day
Brother escaped yet again. Rotten, rotten kitten. He should be so ashamed. The human did call and leave a message about collecting him, but now we're a bit concerned. What if he hears it, and figures out we're on to his hiding place?
Friday, January 3, 2014
Tomorrow, Maybe
We are hoping to go hunting for that troublesome kitten tomorrow. The only possible issue is the grandhuman. It seems like she has developed some issue where she doesn't want to sit foot out of the house if it is the least bit cold. We think she might have been spending too much time with the polar bears. We don't know what we will do if she shows this polar bear like attitude again tomorrow. That kitten needs recaptured, and our fur doesn't need another soaking!

Oh, Dear
Well, our plans to make Brother paranoid seem to be working, but now the human is complaining about stabbing pains in her leg again. Apparently instead of getting himself back here, that kitten has gotten his paws on his voodoo doll again. What sort of establishment lets kittens play with voodoo dolls?

New Year
We didn't get to recapture Brother today, so we have decided to settle for making him paranoid. We have been poking book after book in front of the human for reading purposes, and we have been sure to make ourselves very helpful with earning book certificates and other things as well. The human is definitely starting to see how nice bunnies are, and has been looking at pictures of bunnies looking for new lodgings quite attentively. Needless to say, we have been getting texts from Brother demanding to know what we are up to, and why he has been hearing so much reading, and tapping at the computer, and then comments on such nice, long, silky ears. We have amused ourselves just laughing at every text. We think Brother's paranoia will hit new heights soon. We can only hope it gets him to get himself back here where he belongs!

Tomorrow
We wonder how we could find out if the place we suspect Brother of hiding out is open tomorrow? It would be so nice if it was, and if we could take a ride up to the country to finally recapture that kitten for the New Year. Really, it isn't fair at all that he's managed to hide out for an entire year now. Our fur has suffered terribly as a result, and don't think we won't be holding him accountable once he is drug home!

Hunt Postponed
The Brother hunt got postponed again, and after we had out all of the nets suitable for entrapping a kitten, too. So annoying. We're thinking we're going to have to risk letting Betsy Bear behind the wheel if we ever want to capture Brother. The grandhuman just doesn't seem to be working out for transportation.

Brother Hunt
The Brother hunt is hopefully scheduled for tomorrow. We have been quiet all weekend, and talking of nothing but stitching, so we hope he doesn't suspect a thing. We even got a new quilt book and flipped through it, oooohhhing over the nicest polar bear patterned quilt. That netted us an angry text demanding we stop encouraging those bears in their warmth obsession right away. Really, we can't wait to recapture Brother, and if he thinks he is getting this blog back when he moves back in, he has another thing coming!

Monday Plan
We have high hopes of heading to the country, to check out this kitten, and if it is Brother, to recapture him, on Monday. The only problem we foresee with this is keeping Brother from getting suspicious and figuring out we might have located him once more before we can get there to grab him. We don't want another escape. Maybe we ought to offer to help the human with a few sewing projects. The sound of stitching would likely distract Brother nicely!

Country Kitty
You won't believe this, but we have just received news that there is a kitty in the country that looks suspiciously like BROTHER! Do you think he might have decided to hide up there, thinking it was the last place we would suspect him of being? There's a nice rabbit at the same location as this kitty. We wonder how we could find her email, to check and see for sure if this kitten is who we suspect it is.

Comic
We got the nicest comic today, when we went to the bookstore with the human. We were hoping to find a rabbit book, but we stumbled across the comic series featuring Brother's favorite feline instead. They had a bunch of issues, but we only grabbed the most recent today. Maybe we'll go back for some more this weekend. And we will read them and chuckle, knowing how annoyed that Brother would be, by our getting our paws on those comics instead of him! This issue was really good too, with the kitty actually TALKING! Even that flying comic dog hasn't managed to become chatty, yet. Such a shame Brother isn't going to get to see the books, but it's what he deserves for deserting. NO COMICS!

Santa
Has anyone else heard from Santa recently. We're not sure what happened last night. We were being good little bunnies, and hopped right to bed after watching a church service on tv, but when we woke this morning, Betsy was on the warpath. Apparently Santa never showed up last night, and she was unable to rob him. Do you think the lack of a tree really did lead him to skip us? Or maybe his sleigh broke down from the weight of the coal he was delivering to Brother. We can't be held accountable for sleigh repairs caused by that fugitive cat, right?

Farming
We just got some lovely news about some yummy hay that bunnies are fond of. We're thinking of planting a large patch in the back yard now, and possibly doing away with Brother's catnip patch. Oh, we can see it now, a big batch of hay, and bunnies hopping in, to party, eat and play with us! We bet we could make loads and loads of bunny friends with a yummy crop like that. Does anyone know how long it takes hay to sprout?

Sunday Update
No sign of that rotten cat today but we are still optimistic about his impending recapture. Hehehehehehehe! We just learned of a possible way to get FREE teddy siblings, you see, and we're sure Brother won't be pleased at all about that. We expect him to poke up his pointy ears soon, to try to prevent this, and then we will have him. Hmmmm. Maybe we ought to work a bit harder on the free sibling thing, do you think? It would be so nice to recapture Brother for the holidays.

Brother's Troubles
It's so nice to report on Brother's troubles. After the problems that cat has caused for us, he deserves every one of them, let us reassure you now. First, Betsy took what we told her about the lack of a tree leading to Santa not dropping by seriously. She has now placed a price on Brother's head. We suspect that some poor bears might be forming a cat hunting squad even as we speak, in the hope that assisting Betsy will convince her to spare their honey supply this year. And, even better, we got five new siblings today, a bear, a mouse, two penguins and a polar bear, bringing the sibling count up to 798! And even better, one of the penguins is named PINKY! When Brother texted, to demand why he was hearing unexpected pawsteps in the house, we gave him the happy news of our new penguin sister, and her takeover of his name. And how we might be about to give her all of his stuff too. His bed, his fish, everything. Wouldn't that serve him right for deserting?

Brother's Doomed
We do hope Brother has enjoyed his freedom, for we have found the perfect way to ensure his recapture. The human has been depressed over that rat, and hasn't wanted to put the tree up. So, this afternoon we told Betsy that we believe the lack of a tree will lead Santa to skip our house this year. We expect it won't be long until she puts things together and realizes the only way to get the tree up, and to ensure Santa arrives promptly for her to rob is to recapture Brother. That cat is DOOMED!

Human Today
The human is feeling better today. We can only assume this means that Brother gave in to some cat like instincts and batted the voodoo doll under something where he can't retrieve it without the aid of a broom. Now if he would just try batting at the cell phone he is using. Now he's texting to complain about the amount of READING he is hearing! How does he hear reading, and really, why does he think that it is some disaster he must prevent?

Poor Human
The human's bad leg is bothering her again. The pain hit her suddenly today just as we were planning to visit the fabric store and then go interview a few bunnies to select one to move in. We're not sure how he could have done it, but we are suspicious that Brother caused this problem. Do you think he might have got his paws on a voodoo doll? The human describes the pain as stabbing. Couldn't a voodoo doll cause that?

Continued Texts
Brother continues to text us, demanding to know what these interviews we keep discussing are for. Now he's threatening to report us for possibly hiring gardening assistants. We don't know who he thinks he is going report that to, and why he thinks it is a crime anyway. This could be fun now that we think about it. Brother is going crazy wondering what we're up to, and honestly, we think it serves him right, after all of the trouble he has caused!

Interviews
We've been getting texts from Brother all day, demanding to know why we keep discussing interviews and setting up appointments for interviews, and what are we doing that we need to interview people? He's accused us of looking to employ garden help this year to make the thing our biggest yet. Any idea how long we should let him continue to think that before we give him the news we are interviewing BUNNIES to take his place?
Sunday, December 15, 2013
Hehehehehehehe!
We've been showing the human pictures of cute little bunnies looking for homes, and she's looking very, very tempted by some of the sweet rabbits. So now we are getting texts from Brother demanding to know why he is hearing the human cooing over something that doesn't sound feline. How long do you think we should make him wonder before telling him he might be about to be replaced by a nice RABBIT?
Saturday, December 14, 2013
Idea
The perfect idea for recapturing that cat just hit us. We can turn him in to SANTA! Santa is sure to know where he is. He'll be stopping to drop of a truck load of coal for that cat, after all, so he has to know his location. We can ask Santa to snatch him and drop him off! With his thick gloves and coat, Brother won't be able to use his claws on Santa, and the sleigh will be rather high up so Brother can't escape! Perfect! Santa can capture him, and leave him tied under the tree for us! Problem solved!

Didn't Catch Him
We didn't catch Brother today. At first we were glad that those bandages we stocked up on wouldn't be necessary, and we wouldn't need an emergency trip to the teddy adoption center, but then the human started sobbing. She really, really thought she would find Brother today, and when she didn't, she was just devastated. She's been sobbing ever since and we don't know what to do. When we get our paws on that cat for this.... We have a lot of bandages. Maybe we could use them to tie him up, before he could turn his claws on us. Hmmmm. That could work. And we know there are claw trimmers here. Tie Brother up, do a bit of trimming and we would have a disarmed kitten. And see if we ever let him grow his claws back when we get our paws on him! We are going to be lucky if we don't end up soaking wet from the tears! He should be ashamed!

Tomorrow's Hunt
We might be going out to hunt Brother tomorrow. How annoying. You know he's going to put up a fight if we find him. He'll probably dig in his claws to try to keep from being drug to the car, and will make a horrible scene. We fear he might even loose those claws upon us, if we help the human recapture him. What are we going to do? We don't want to be clawed and have to make an emergency trip to the teddy adoption center for first aid!

Bunny Plans
Does anyone have any suggestions for how we can best convince the human that a bunny would be the perfect replacement for Brother? Really, rabbits are entirely superior. They can use a box just like a cat, but bunnies are so much less messy about it, and since we eat salads, we're so much easier to feed! A bunny would be the perfect friend, we are sure, but for some reason the human keeps mentioning hunting that cat down. How can we get her mind of felines and onto nice rabbits?
Tuesday, December 10, 2013
Brother Hunt Scheduled
A Brother hunt is scheduled for Friday, unless we can convince the human that a bunny would make a much better sibling before then. We've shown her a few bunny pictures, and she's looked a bit tempted by them. We think we'll up the rabbit picture viewing for the next couple of days, and hopefully we'll be able to guide the human in a bunny direction. Wouldn't that serve Brother right, if he was replaced by a rabbit?
Monday, December 9, 2013
Tomorrow's Plans
The human is talking about going to hunt down that rat of a brother of ours tomorrow, after her doctor's appointment. We're just not sure about this, though. After all of the trouble Brother has caused, and how damp our fur has gotten from the human's tears over that troublesome cat, do we REALLY want to let him move back in? We think we might need to spend the night showing her pictures of bunnies looking for new lodgings instead. Another bunny would be so much nicer as a sibling, and we're sure a fellow rabbit would be appreciative of such a nice home and such loving siblings too!

Rotten, Rotten Brother
Our poor human. She has had an awful weekend, missing that horrible, terrible cat and sobbing. We're feeling quite damp and much annoyed. How can Brother just desert and abandon our poor human like this? We really ought to turn the law loose on him. And maybe pull up some pictures of bunnies looking for homes. Do you think that would cheer the human?
Saturday, December 7, 2013
Oddest Thing
We just read the oddest thing, about an elephant falling down a well. Really, how big was this well, that it allowed an elephant to tumble to the bottom? And there were pictures of him, standing up at the bottom, not cramped at all! Granted, he was a baby elephant, but still, those are still pretty large. What in the world were the humans who constructed this well thinking digging such a large thing? Big enough for an elephant. Well, their neighbors are going to know the first place to look for their children should they go missing now. And we are sure the elephant's parents are looking for a good lawyer to represent them in their suit against these humans for improper well construction and creating a safety hazard.

More Complaints about the TV Bunny
We're still getting complaints about that nice bunny on the TV show. How long is Brother going to keep bringing that up? Now he's complaining about the clothing the bunny is wearing, and demanding to know if this is part of some sort of plot to convince humans that bunnies need little outfits and little shoes and who knows how many little accessories. He also believes this bunny is somewhere on our family tree. Hmmmm. That sounds paranoid to us. Do you think we could use such paranoid thinking to get Brother locked up? At least then maybe he wouldn't be able to harass us nearly as much!

Tonight's TV Complaints
We don't know why whichever human is stuck with Brother keeps allowing him access to the television remote. Can they really enjoy an hour of television accompanied by such loud kitty complaints? We're sure it takes away from the show tremendously. We know the texts we keep getting bombarded with are sure hampering our TV viewing. The nicest bunny was on tonight, and needless to say, Brother sent a pile of texts, complaining about the rabbit, the number of lines he had, and the continuing absence of the show's cat. Really, the show is based on Alice in Wonderland. Isn't there a mention of a rabbit hole in the title of that book? Why is he so shocked to see a bunny on the screen?
Wednesday, December 4, 2013
Wrapping
Today's complaints were about hearing the rustling of wrapping paper being applied to presents. We don't know why Brother thinks he has some right to complain about that, though, after his horrible desertion and refusal to move back in. We're starting to get suspicious about the human's cold now, too, and we're wondering if Brother could have arranged to infect her. We've lined up several nice rabbits for interviews to take Brother's place, but the human can't meet them until she is feeling better. It would be just like that cat to somehow spread a disease to prevent a nice bunny from getting a home!

More Complaints
We're still getting more complaints from Brother. Now he's demanding to know if we were serious about the human being finished with her shopping list. Really, he heard ALL of the checking of people being crossed off. List is done, and before December even started. We wonder if being so super helpful will get us promoted to Santa's extra nice list this year. We know Brother is heading for the extra naughty list. If anyone needs coal, check with him, because he is probably getting a ton this year with how evil he has been. Now, since we have helped the human finish her list, time to start shopping for the rabbits on our bunny list! We think we will need to hop to the food co-op soon to start gathering seed to finish that list!

Monday
Sorry we didn't post this weekend. We were a little distracted, rechecking the human's list, and then she got a cold, a lovely gift from the grandhuman, we are sure. Anyway, Brother is still texting us non-stop. Now he's complaining about the amount of books he is hearing us downloading. He seems to think it will only encourage the human to read, and not supervise us. Really, for a cat who seems to find the notion of moving back in so terrible, Brother is spending a lot of time focusing on what's going on in this house, don't you think?

It Was Great!
The shopping today was just wonderful, we are happy to say. We were able to help the human find pretty much everything she wanted, which means we can now focus on filling our little bunny shopping lists. Needless to say, we have been hearing kitty shrieks all day, demanding to know what we are up to. You should have seen the texts he sent when we had to make two trips home to drop off packages before hopping out again to shop for more.

Just a few hours until the shopping starts. Oh, we're so looking forward to this. We've been doing stretches and aerobic hopping all morning to prepare ourself for the event. Now if we could just find a way to block Brother's texts of complaint. He doesn't live here, he doesn't want to move back in. He has no right to harass us like this! The sales are starting soon, and we are busily warming up for them. We have helped our human get her little list all ready, and we are all ready to hop out tomorrow afternoon to start the gathering. We figure with our assistance the human can finish twice as fast. We will hop behind her, and rush purchases to the car so she won't be distracted and hindered with bags. We just wish we weren't being hindered by Brother. Even after his latest escape, he is continuing to text us harassing messages, demanding to know why he is hearing so much list checking. What right does he think he has to object to anything after all he's done, abandoning us and then escaping once more at the last second?! He is lucky we haven't filed a SUIT!

Weather Report
The terrible, evil weatherman is calling for snow, and we are suspicious he has taken a bribe from Brother. We were planning on having interviews for our new sibling tomorrow, and now this forecast has disrupted things. It would be just like Brother to pull something like this, bribing the weatherman. He doesn't want to move back in, but he doesn't want to let anyone else move in in his place! Well, we will see about that. Perhaps some of these potential siblings will agree to do their interview over Skype!

Another Escape
We were all ready to catch Brother. We had high hopes of having him in custody by tomorrow afternoon, but that RAT managed to escape once more! Now our poor human is in tears and totally crushed, thanks to him, and we have had it. We have been nice about Brother's antics, but now we have had it. The poor human has sobbed all day, and that kitty doesn't feel in the least bit ashamed. Well, no more nice bunnies. If Brother wants to desert us and our human, fine. We hope he is very happy wherever he is, and after how mean he has been, we are glad he isn't here. We will find another sibling, a nicer sibling to take his place. We might even send out applications to recruit a new animal tonight, and let us tell you now, a bunny is the frontrunner to move in and be our new sibling. So Brother can just desert, and do whatever he wants. We will be arranging his replacement just like that, and we wouldn't be surprised if the replacement has long ears and a fuzzy, cotton tail. And a sense of appreciation. We mustn't forget that!

After Thanksgiving Approaches
The After Thanksgiving sales are fast approaching. We just wish the texts from Brother, complaining about these sales, and threatening us should we attempt to go to them to help the human weren't approaching at the speed of light. We think he really wants us to be UNHELPFUL! Have you ever heard of such? And how is it a problem for him if we offer to carry packages for the human, or to hop up onto high shelves, or to squeeze around other humans to get the goodies our human wants more easily? We just don't see his problem.

Saturday Rant
The human found the nicest way to search a wide ranging collection of newspapers, looking for information to grow the family tree today. And roughly five seconds after this, we were hit with a avalanche of texts from Brother, demanding to know why he heard the family tree growing. Honestly, he has small, pointed ears, not fine, long bunny ears like us. Does he really think he could convince us such puny ears could hear a tree growing? We were not born yesterday!

Shopping Started
We helped the human start her annual holiday shopping today, and what was awaiting us when we got back from the store, but another pile of messages from Brother, demanding to know why he was hearing people being checked off of the list, and were we shopping? You would think he would be glad we were helping the human. You would think he would like the notion we were shopping for human goodies, instead of loitering in the fabric aisle, but he has the idea that if we finish the human's list early, it will just give us more time to shop for bunny items. That cat is so paranoid!

Texts Tonight
We got more texts tonight, with Brother complaining about that show again, and how he saw a floppy eared rabbit taking up screen time once more, and no sign of the cat. We tried to point out that the bunny only got a tiny bit of time. He didn't even have a line in this week's episode, but Brother wouldn't listen. He seems to think there is some sort of rabbit plot now, although we're not sure what in the world he thinks we are plotting. We really, really wish that human would take her phone back. Doesn't she miss talking on it?

He Has It
Brother has the phone again. Maybe the human who is stuck with him doesn't like talking, that's the only reason we can figure for her letting him take over the phone so much. We got texts complaining about hearing more checking of lists. We are helping the HUMAN! Does Brother not want us to help our human out? She has an awful lot of people on her lists. Without us, she could be tied up for days with checking!

No Call Today
No call from that human today either. We're getting seriously concerned that Brother has his paws on the phone again. And he's probably plotting something to seriously annoy us too. We just know it. We were thinking of going to the movies today, but we were too afraid that Brother would launch a text attack in the middle of the theater. We just hope the human gets her hands on her phone agains soon. Really, isn't she missing being able to talk with people?

Phone and Human
We haven't heard from the human who is stuck with Brother yet today. Do you think that is a sign that Brother got his paws on the phone again? We hope the human has jut gotten distracted, and hasn't let the phone fall back into Brother's paws. We just helped the human earn a lot of book goodies, you see, and we are very afraid of the number of texts Brother has planned for us should he learn of the book help we were.

An Actual Human
We sent a text today and we got to talk to an actual human for a change. We can only assume that she found her phone, possibly while Brother was in the litter box. So nice talking to a human, and not being harassed for a change. Hopefully we will have Brother's recapture scheduled soon, now that the phone is in human hands!

Visited the Country
We hopped to the country today to check on the cottage. It was so nice there, but someone was burning leaves, so we couldn't stay due to the human's smoke allergy. We did have a chance to drop by the homeless shelter, though, and we met the nicest bunny, bear and horse. We naturally invited them to move in, bringing the sibling count to 793. So now the cell phone is buzzing with texts that we are sure are from Brother pitching a fit. Do you think if we ignore them he might storm over in person to shriek?

This Weekend
We're hoping to go to the mountains, possibly to encounter a cousin and sell him things this weekend. Our only concern is that kitten. If he gets any idea we're going up there, he will text and drive us nuts. We will never be able to enjoy the mountains and the relative and his checkbook for the constant beeping of incoming texts. Does anyone have any suggestions for how we could sneak out of the house?

The Approach of After Thanksgiving
The most lovely holiday, the Day after Thanksgiving, is rapidly approaching and we can't wait. There are some sale papers that you can find online now, so we've been working with the human a bit on her list already. We just wish Brother would behave himself. It's so hard to write names and check them twice when we keep getting texts from him every five seconds, demanding to know why he is hearing the sound of checking! Maybe we ought to switch to an electronic list. Do you think he would hear checking on that?

Turkeys
We have found another advantage to Brother's current absence. The turkeys who rent the pool house to avoid Thanksgiving have been sending in their money to pay for their spaces. We've got quite a stack of little envelopes stuffed full of cash, and all of the payments aren't in yet, either. And since Brother isn't here, all of this money will be going to US! We bet he didn't think of that when he was dodging being recaptured. Now we have a pile of money! And we think a seed catalogue might have shown up in the mail. Perhaps we will put this money to good use planning next year's garden!
