Seed and the Library

We just read the nicest article about libraries letting patrons check SEED out for planting purposes.  We're going to have to check out all of the libraries we have access to, to see about signing up for this program right away.  We bet the country libraries offer this service for sure, and since we all have little cards from several different libraries there we are seeing much seed in our future.  Perhaps we will even force Brother to get a card or two, so he can check seed out as well!

Doom

The human is no help against my fast approaching doom. Really, I'm not sure why I have human servants if they aren't able to do a better job, keeping the bunnies in line, and preventing them from going through with their plots to drag me off to the country. Honestly, the human might as well encourage the bunnies. She's talking about all of the fun she had the last country visit, reading a ton of books, and the wonderful book sale she found up there too. And of course the bunnies are encouraging this, and are even offering to provide more books for her reading pleasure so she'll want to go up there again. They've offered money for her to use at the book sale! Woe is me! Some foolish person is selling books for five cents! You know that will attract the human, especially if the bunnies are paying!

Seed Horrors

Well, every store has seed out, probably in anticipation of the arrival of the Easter Bunny in a couple of weeks. The rabbits already have their first packs of the season along with eighty onion bulbs. I do hope our neighbors thought to double their homeowner's insurance in anticipation of this event. And, to make matters worse, the rabbits checked in a magazine today, and saw how to get an early start on stuff. They're wanting to trot out in the next few days to start digging up their plots to put in their spring vegetables. Have you ever heard of something so alarming in your life?

Call the Army! Call the Navy! Call the Marines!

The bunnies swear that they have detected signs of peppermint sprouting! The authorities must be alerted to this alarming development at once! Who do I need to call to report an impending mint invasion? The rabbits are crowing over their seeding success, and are thinking about looking up some different types of mint to start online! Should the neighbors just go ahead and declare their dwelling a total loss with their insurance company now? Goodness knows they will never see their homes again by the time the rabbits are through with their planting.
