Book Deal!
We found a wonderful book deal today, and grabbed eight lovely books. We thought Brother would be happy about this. One of the books mentioned cats in the title, after all. But he took one look and is now claiming we are up to something because the book refers to kitties in pajamas. He is trying to say this is a book that is encouraging the dressing of cats, and is therefore a CRIME!

Book Sale
The human visited the book sale today, instead of tomorrow, so she wouldn't have to worry about delays in getting to the quilt viewing. It was a considerable distance, but we're sure we heard a faint little kitty scream while the human was gathering books. Really, we don't know why brother was so upset. There was just one quilt book in the lot. That's not too bad, right? Oh, and when we got home, there was another message from the head bear. We just can't wait to visit the home of the bears! Now if we could only capture Brother and our new sibling. It's so annoying not to have them here. We saw the cutest shirts for felines today and couldn't make purchases because we don't know our brother's size!

Quilt Show and Book Sale
This weekend is going to be lovely, truly wonderful. Not only is it time for the quilt show, but the giant book sale is this weekend too. Oh, our brother was truly miserable every time those events rolled around. He kept saying they gave us bad ideas and encouraged the polar bears. Not to mention the uptick in crime due to Betsy robbing the mountain bears and the hotel buffet. Brother will surely have a screaming fit this weekend, which will make his capture so much easier. We can't wait. And we can't wait to get more books and fabric. We need so many more clothes for our trip to visit the head bear. We want to look our best for her.

More Nickels
Really, we must live in the most careless part of town. The bunnies have now drafted their friends the squirrels into hunting down change to be used for books. Have you ever seen a squirrel dragging a sack larger than them, with the tail included, up the sidewalk to be delivered? Apparently the squirrels searched the park, and under the slides and swings were a goldmine of loose change, that had escaped the care of various children. What where those children thinking? Do they want to see me drug away to the country so the human can go book shopping?

Nickels
Rotten rabbits. You won't believe what they have done this time. First, they hopped out this morning with the human for breakfast, and while the human was finishing her meal, the bunnies amused themselves searching the parking lot for change. Apparently a lot of humans had been rather careless, for they returned with a nice sack. A sack, and they intend to donate the money to the human for book purchases! A country trip in in the offing for sure, with the bunnies offering that cash and the wonderful book sale the human found going on. I'm doomed! I wonder if I have time to order a disguise so no one will recognize me?

Doom
The human is no help against my fast approaching doom. Really, I'm not sure why I have human servants if they aren't able to do a better job, keeping the bunnies in line, and preventing them from going through with their plots to drag me off to the country. Honestly, the human might as well encourage the bunnies. She's talking about all of the fun she had the last country visit, reading a ton of books, and the wonderful book sale she found up there too. And of course the bunnies are encouraging this, and are even offering to provide more books for her reading pleasure so she'll want to go up there again. They've offered money for her to use at the book sale! Woe is me! Some foolish person is selling books for five cents! You know that will attract the human, especially if the bunnies are paying!

Right About the Weekend
I was right about the weekend. The human took off bright and early this morning, to visit that horrible quilt show and book sale with the bunnies, polar bears and Betsy Bear along for the ride. There is now a giant box of book loitering up my table, and with, I am sure, annoying books, probably on work, inside. And then there is what the polar bears did at the quilt show. They returned home with a SACK of fabric! A sack! And a camera full of quilt pictures too, sure to give them ideas for projects, and the bunnies ideas for table decorations for book sale purposes. Oh, and on the way home, the polar bears passed a flock of sheep too, lounging in their pasture, all fluffy and wooly. So now there is sheep nudity visible from the public highway. As for Betsy Bear, I try not to think about what she might have done to those poor mountain bears while the humans and polar bears were in the quilt show. I'm sure she robbed them as usual, and probably reset their alarm clocks for half past May too. And then there is the buffet the humans stopped at on the way home. Betsy attacked the brownies there, or possibly robbed a Brownie for all of their cookies. I'm not to sure about the specifics. I don't really want to know the specifics. But she came home smelling of goodies, and licking chocolate off of her paws, so I'm sure some theft was involved. Really, what a rotten weekend!

Frightening Weekend
I think I'm going to spend the weekend in hiding. Really, it's shaping up to be the stuff of nightmares and I suggest that all people lock yourselves in your homes until the horror is over. Not only is there a book sale this weekend, but the quilt festival is going on as well. The human is wanting to attend both, and of course the polar bears and bunnies want to go as well. The bunnies will find books on work, I'm sure of it, or more books on gardening, or worse, vegetable themed fabric to make decorations for book signings! And the polar bears, I think you can imagine what will happen, with them near so much fabric. Really, this is shaping up to be the disaster to end all disasters, and I hope someone will wake me when it's OVER!

Must Sue the Library
Well, I can't even watch television now. The rabbits are staking out the den trying to catch me. The only way I have avoided them so far was by slithering around on my belly, so my bell doesn't make any noise. I feel like a snake. At least they haven't staked out the computer, though, so I can hop on and alert you to the impending horrors. The library, that horrible place that is the associate of the genealogy archives, is having a book sale this weekend, and the human is determined to go. Do you know what she found at that horrible event last year? Genealogy magazines, that's what! Magazines just devoted to encouraging the growth of that horrible tree of hers! What if she finds more of them, this year, or worse yet, what if she finds genealogy books? The library ought to be ashamed of themselves, and worse yet, this sale is being held right down the street from the archives, so the human is talking about trotting down there as soon as she makes her purchases, to do a little research!

Book Sale Tommorrow
The human is plotting to go to a giant book sale in the morning. Normally, I would be okay with this, but the polar bears are making plans to sneak along, in order to look for books on scarves, and quilts, and the bunnies were thinking of stowing away to get some books for their garden. I don't want to think of what Betsy is hoping to find, or maybe she's just hoping that there will be lots of babies with their parents that she can take for all of their candy. Do you suppose I ought to call and warn this book sale that they are doomed?
