What Did I do to the Church?
What did I do so wrong that the church is out to get me? Because surely they think I did something. Oh, you won't believe the horror that I experienced this morning, thanks to that place. The human dropped by this church, that was having some sort of event involving hot dogs, and she was promptly tackled by various animals with tales of woe about being homeless. I now have seven more siblings, including a monkey, a reindeer, a cow, three bears, and worst of all, another polar bear! I am up to 683 siblings. Woe is me! The only comfort I can see is the cow. She's a truly lazy creature. I asked her for milk, thinking I would be able to at least get snacks from her, and she refused, saying she doesn't do that sort of work. Maybe I can get the bunnies interested in reforming this cow into an industrious creature instead of their many plots to make me work? I'm sure they won't be impressed at all by her refusal to work at milking. They probably think she ought to produce milk and churn up cheese and butter from it too. At least I hope so. Tricking them into harassing her is my only hope!

The Country and the Cows
The humans took a little trip to the country today, to check on the country cottage, and of course, Betsy Bear trotted along to torment those poor bears who have the misfortune to have their den near the lake. I just hope they thought to invest heavily in honey insurance before they settled down to snooze back in the fall. Betsy's crimes aren't the worst result of this visit, though. While she was up there, looting and pillaging, she happened to spot several herds of cows, and noted all of the manure in their pastures. And, of course, once she got home, she shared this news with the rabbits in exchange for a suitable honey bribe. The bunnies were absolutely thrilled, and now they are hopping everywhere, gathering rakes, shovels and sacks, and making plans to ride along with the humans when they go back tomorrow to check out a possibly damaged shingle, so that they can offer to clean up the cows' dwelling for them. They're sure the cows will be thrilled to let them help out, and the manure will be wonderful for their garden. Really, those rabbits ought to be ashamed. What are the cows going to do, when their farmer comes along, looking to collect that manure to sell, and it is all gone? How in the world will they ever explain that they were bad cows, and handed it over to a batch of bunnies? The cows will be in a ton of trouble, and it will all be those rabbits' fault!

Cow Robbery
To make the day even worse, this relative of the humans happens to live alarmingly close to where a batch of cows have their pasture. Some of my rabbit siblings stowed away in the car, and I just know that they harassed these poor cows for their manure! The cows are supposed to be saving that manure to be sold to help make ends meet and to purchase hay and other cow treats! How in the world are they ever going to explain to the farmer they live with if they let a batch of bunnies talk them out of it?

Also Need to Apologize
I also need to apologize for the antics of Lily Rabbit. Granted, she is just one rabbit, and really things could have been worse, but still what that bunny did was pretty awful. One of the poor neighbors up in the country actually dared to raise a garden this year. Poor dear. I think you can safely imagine what happened with a rabbit on the loose near this garden with no supervision. I expect the misfortune that befell Farmer Turley's tomato farm to make the nightly news and I don't even want to think of what happened with the cows. I just know that rabbit hopped down to their pasture to try to get them to hand over manure.

Hallalujah!
Hallalujah, the church decided to go with a beef stew dinner instead of that horrible turkey meal they were thinking about! I am now totally safe to go about my business with those turkeys who are coming in to rent a hideout here without worries about what the human might be up to. And the cows quite frankly are too concerned about the rabbits attempting to get their manure to worry about dinners. For once that church seems to be cooperating with the best interests of the cat!

Reunion Number 2
The rabbits hopped along with the human to that reunion they attended today, and would you believe that they were left without supervision for hours while she showed off that awful, awful family tree? I don't even want to know what they got up to. Of course, I suppose it's better to have them without supervision and elsewhere than to have them here where I'm expected to watch them, but still! I just hope they didn't encounter and harass any cows!

You Know
You know, as if the graduation they're having foolishly right up the hill from a garden isn't bad enough, the other one happens to be in an area where a suspicious number of cows have their pastures. I just know those bunnies will do something terrible there! And the human's thinking of dropping in to pay her respects at her gggggrandfather's grave, so goodness knows she won't be keeping an eye on those rabbits. How much trouble do you suppose the poor cows will be in if they let the bunnies get their paws on all of that manure they were supposed to be saving for the market?

Moo Fest
They are having a festival in honor of the cow in a couple of weeks that I would love to attend. I'm thinking of asking a group of neighboring kitties if they would like to get together and possibly form a carpool to this event. All of that yummy, yummy milk would be wonderful, not to mention being away from my siblings' terrible plants. I am a bit worried, though, about how in the world I'm going to keep those bunnies from hopping along in order to try to get their paws on manure, and embarrassing me to death in front of the other cats! Bad enough that they're growing potential cat-eating pumpkins! So, how can I keep them out of the Moo Fest carpool? Not to mention, how do I dodge the polar bears? They think these cows might have sheep friends they would like to meet.

The Poor Cows
The cows are going to be in so much trouble shortly, and it is all the bunnies' fault! It turns out that the cows are supposed to be saving all of that manure to bag and sell in order to make ends meet. Unfortunately, three bunnies went hopping up there today, and I'm sure they didn't pay for anything they collected. Heaven only knows how the cows will explain what happened to the farmer when he comes out and all of the manure is gone. How much trouble do you suppose they'll be in for just giving it away to a batch of rabbits?

I Have Never Been So Embarrassed
I have never been so embarrassed in my little kitty life. The bunnies split up today. A batch of them stayed here to supervise their seed, while they sent Polly Bunny to scout out the country cottage and our poor cousin Farmer Turley's tomato farm. There are the nicest herd of cows who live just down the road, perfect for placing orders for milk with. You won't believe what that bunny did, though! She stopped by and asked them about their manure, and if they were producing plenty and it's possible nutritional content for gardening purposes! I am never going to be able to show my face again with those cows after what that bunny asked them!
Of course, Betsy ran wild too. The poor picnickers were out in full force since it was such a nice day, happily enjoying lunches and boating on the lake. At least they were until that bear popped up. Poor picnickers. Not a sandwich was left, and I shudder to think what happened to all of those poor boaters she got. Really, our neighbors should be so ashamed of their failures as boat owners, leaving their boat unguarded for that bear to take off in the second the humans turn their back! And to make matters worse, they're thinking of going back to the country tomorrow, which means I still might be caught and drug up there!
