Oddest Thing

We saw the oddest thing today, a batch of cats who had a collection of reading lamps in their little kitty apartment!  We can only assume that this means these cats are READERS!  Cats who like books, instead of a cat like brother who seems to have some sort of book phobia and who shouts to back away every time he even senses us looking at a book.  We wonder if we could talk to these kitties, and get them to reform Brother as soon as we recapture him?

Continuing Dryer Horrors

The humans took the old dryer off today, to a human who can hopefully fix it, so it can be moved to the country cottage. No good can come of them having additional appliances up there. A washer is sure to be next, and can only lead to them being able to stay for longer, if the humans don't run out of clothing. Anyway, the bunnies were very excited when they came hopping back from this drop-off. It turns out that there are several cats who dwell with, and are likely employed by the repair human! These cats WORK! Oh, it was frightening to see how excited the bunnies were by this. They're making plans to hop back now, to talk to these cats, and learn how they were converted to the wonders of hard work, industry and a rabbit like lifestyle. And you know why they want to know this. So they can make me convert as well!

Cat Psychologist Needed

I need a cat psychologist right away, and no, this isn't for me. The human went out today, to poke at that horrible tree, and when she came back, she was all excited and eager to share with me how she met a cat at the archives. Apparently this feline lives there, and is hard at work researching their family tree, because the kitty races into the records room every time the door is left open. Have you ever heard of something so insane? Obviously, the cat needs serious mental help is the only thing that I can imagine.

Tree Disaster

Who do I need to contact to file a complaint against Cousin Marshall, both for daring to have four more children and for daring to honestly report the existence of these offspring in the 1930 census? Thanks to Footnote for providing free access and that hospital for providing fast internet, the human found them in no time, and will surely be hunting down obituaries and other awful stuff for them next which will only make the tree that much more top heavy. Honestly, what are these people thinking? I'm so glad I'm from a respectable family, made up of cats, and then decent kangaroos on my father's side.

Moo Fest

They are having a festival in honor of the cow in a couple of weeks that I would love to attend. I'm thinking of asking a group of neighboring kitties if they would like to get together and possibly form a carpool to this event. All of that yummy, yummy milk would be wonderful, not to mention being away from my siblings' terrible plants. I am a bit worried, though, about how in the world I'm going to keep those bunnies from hopping along in order to try to get their paws on manure, and embarrassing me to death in front of the other cats! Bad enough that they're growing potential cat-eating pumpkins! So, how can I keep them out of the Moo Fest carpool? Not to mention, how do I dodge the polar bears? They think these cows might have sheep friends they would like to meet.
