Just When I Thought
Just when I thought the human's ankle was better, she started complaining of pain again, and had to limp off to the chiropractor this afternoon. Apparently she did something to the muscle. Goodness knows when it will stop hurting, and now she's talking about staying in bed and resting until it is comfortable again. If she is in bed, who is going to wait upon me? I expect three meals a day, and snacks if I can get them.

Today's Report
The human's ankle is feeling better, thank goodness. Really, nothing good can come of her being laid up in bed, not serving me. Not to mention, her being in bed makes her a prime target for the bunnies, hopping in and giving her ideas for those bunny books. Oh, the horrors of the bunny books! And did you know they just gave me the happy news that when they get the things published they're going to host a book signing at the food co-op? And won't it be nice if I'm munching down some of the co-op products by then too? That's a sure sign they're going through with getting me a dish of mushrooms to eat.

Ankle Update
The human is still complaining about her ankle. Just wonderful. How am I to get decent service here if the human is laid up with ice on her ankle? And now she is talking about the writing she is wanting to work on, to start the year off right. If the human is laid up, it can only lead to her having plenty of writing time. And writing time can only lead to encouragement for the bunnies and bears. Not good, not good at all.

Ankle
If anyone like the bunnies ask, I was online this morning. I was online, and certainly wasn't loitering in the floor, possibly causing the human to stumble, turn her ankle, and nearly end up falling on top of a batch of rabbits. Now the human is sitting propped in bed, ice on ankle, and the bunnies are looking suspiciously at the floor, and anyone who might have been on the floor at the time of this ankle injury. Well, if they want to look at me, I was happily online at the time, and had nothing to do with it! And at least the human's injury kept the polar bears and bunnies home today, and safely away from any shopping trips to buy annoying things for me.

Cripple Report
The human is still crippled, and stuck with ice on her various injuries. Service has declined drastically around here too. I was forced to go over eight hours without someone to wait on me, while the other, uninjured human was at work. Really, there ought to be a law about something like that. I suppose I was lucky in some ways, though. At least the bunnies all seem to be focused on the human for the moment and are lurking in her room with offers of replenishing ice and everything. I was sure they would use this as a chance to offer to take over filling my dish, and attempting to convert me once more.
