Pumpkin
We obtained our pumpkin today, and we got the sacks ready to be distributed to children on Halloween too. We have 50 lovely sacks stuffed full of candy to hand out and extra candy to construct more if necessary. We have established a guard rotation to protect it from Betsy until next weekend. We just hope the carrots we are using for our weapons are pointy enough for the job.

Candy is Here
The human went out today, and returned lagging EIGHT sacks of CANDY with her! Eight sacks of candy, and she got these little lanterns too, to hang up so that the children can be sure to find our house. Those poor, poor children. The human is even talking about hanging up signs at the end of the street, so they know where the candy is. We are in for a nightmare for sure come tomorrow night! Betsy will have the crime spree to end all crime sprees! We're doomed!

Child Bait
I can't believe the humans. They have purchased at least seven bags of candy to hand out to children for Halloween! You should have seen the happy dance Betsy did when they brought it in. With that much candy, she is sure that a bunch of children will be lured to the door, and thus will fall into her paws for robbery purposes. Seven bags. Oh, I shudder to think of the number of children that much candy will bring in, and then Betsy will get them! The humans should be ashamed!

The Mall
The local shopping mall was foolishly amusing themselves passing out Halloween candy today and to make matters worse, they started nice and early, so I think you can safely guess where Betsy was amusing herself while waiting for those foolish churches to open up this afternoon to produce their candy. Oh, all of those poor, misfortunate children who went up to that mall expecting candy. I can't be in any way held accountable for the poor dears becoming the victims of attacks and raids on their sacks of goodies by that bear, now can I?
