Brother
Josie again. Well, our brother's snuck on here for the last two days, despite the fact that he was banned from blogging. Really, he ought to be ashamed of himself, hopping on the second we were in the tub, scrubbing our fur. It's a wonder our human didn't end up a hive covered mess thanks to him. Well, we will be watching him from now on to prevent this. Okay, the flea medication has probably sank in by now, but he still deserves punishment for huffing and puffing and alarming that poor, poor vet like he did. And we just don't know what in the world is his problem with our garden. It's going so well. We're hoping to get more pallets soon, so we can really get our garden going. And it's rained off and on for the last two days, we're happy to report so our plants that we poked out on Saturday have gotten a nice start.

Awful, Horrible Tidings
I was able to sneak on again. The bunnies are washing their fur once more, to remove any traces of the dressing from the salad bar they raided this afternoon. They don't have to scrub those ears, though, so who knows how long I have to talk. The bunnies obtained two more sacks of dirt this afternoon for bed construction. And you won't believe this, but when they were hopping about the store parking lot, gathering the dirt, a vehicle from animal control was there. And did they do their jobs and arrest those rabbits as a threat to our poor neighbors? Oh, no! They patted them on their ears, and praised them for their industry! Really, can't they be punished for that? Encouraging the bunnies instead of doing their job and trying to control them? Wait, I think I hear hopping! How did they finish bathing so fast? Got to go!

Horrors! Oh, Horrors!
It's Sir Pinky. The bunnies are in the bathtub, so I was able to sneak on. They're scrubbing those long, floppy ears at the moment, so I'm sure they'll be awhile. Oh, you won't believe the horror that happened today. Those rabbits fixed up the first of their beds, made from a pallet. It's out in the garden now, alarmingly close to my catnip patch, and filled with 24+ tomato plants! Over twenty four tomatoes, and that is in addition to the plants they already own, and the seedlings they have sprouting. And according to them, it's just the start of their planting too They're planning to hop to the store tomorrow to get more dirt, to construct more beds! The neighborhood is doomed! Doomed, I say! As soon as they finish planting the tomatoes, they intend to move along to cucumbers, and the aggressive watermelon! We are all doomed!

Dirt!
The dirt is here! We hopped out this afternoon and got two big, fat sacks full of it, along with a roll of the landscaping fabric. We were going to go out and assemble the new bed, but then when we went to look for the stapler, to tack the fabric in place, it turned up missing. We're sure the cat knows something about this. He was chuckling suspiciously when we were searching for the stapler, and looked all together guilty of something. Well, we will show him. If we don't find the stapler tomorrow, we will buy a replacement! Those beds are being assembled!

Dirt
We have high hopes of getting dirt, to assemble our new garden bed in the pallets tomorrow. Oh, it's going to be so NICE to get things together. And we might go to the country this weekend, too, and you know there are a ton of plants up there we need to get for planting purposes. We're just going to have such a good time with this. The only problem we bunnies see at the moment is that delinquent brother of ours and his continuous complaints. Really, we don't know what his problem is. Now he's objecting to where we plant to put these pallets, claiming that they might overrun his catnip patch. Really, we are the gardeners here. We tend that patch for him. He just enjoys the crop. He has no right to try to use it to prevent our garden plans.

Wonderful News!
Josie here again with wonderful news! We got our paws on the first pallet for our garden construction project today! We just have to pick up the landscape fabric and the dirt to fill it with tomorrow and we can get right to work! Needless to say, that brother of ours pitched another fit when he saw the pallet, and now he's hiding and moaning about the coming arrival of the dirt. We really don't know what's wrong with him. You would think he would be happy with this. Planting in the pallets means we won't be requiring assistance with digging up to ground for the garden after all. He will be spared work due to this. He should be pleased. The only assistance we might ask for him to give us is in holding the corners of the landscape fabric while we staple it in place. That doesn't even count as work!

Help! Police!
Does anyone know the number for the law enforcement division that deals with rabbits? I have to call them right away and file a complaint. The bunnies got on the human's computer today and sent out a message, pretending to be her, trying to find those pallets that are needed to construct their plant beds! What in the world am I going to do? When the rabbits went out this afternoon to raid the pizza place's salad bar, and to eat all of the veggie lovers' pizza on the buffet, they found a good deal on topsoil. All they need is the pallets to get things started!

As if the Country isn't Bad Enough
As if the plot to drag me to the country isn't bad enough, now the bunnies have worked out what they are sure is the perfect way to open up more garden space, since a plow doesn't seem to be forthcoming to clear it. They're going to get more of those pallets and use them to make flat beds for their plants as well as making the upright beds! Do you know how much more garden space that will give them? They've done the math, and they're sure they can put a good ten pallets along the inside of the fence, in what they call the wasted space next to the pool, and they bet they can get way more than ten pallets in the upper yard. Oh, and they found the landscape fabric they need to construct these beds too, at a very cheap price. Can I sue the Dollar Store for offering the bunnies such a deal? I'm sure they're going to try to drag me out soon, to lag the pallets home so they can start to work on this project!

Continuing Bed Construction Plans
For anyone who likes horror, you can see a demonstration of how to convert pallets into plant beds here. I wouldn't look unless you're in to horror, though, for I can promise you that the thing is truly, truly frightening. The bunnies have been busy all day, trying to work out how many pallets they will need, to cover the fence with plant beds. Oh, this will be a nightmare, I am sure of it! They're planning to poke beans in there, and cucumbers, and pumpkins, and I'm sure the aggressive, expansionistic watermelon plants too. I'm sure I will have nightmares tonight, thinking of it. As soon as they finish with the math, working out the number of flats required, they plan to grab me and drag me off to the store, to start gathering pallets for the assembly line!

Bed Construction Plans
I shall sue the paper. That is what I have to do right away. The bunnies are all fired up about the plan they found in that horrible, awful newspaper, for building plant beds that can be leaned against a fence, or the side of a house. They're sure this will triple or possibly quadruple their plant space, especially if the houses that they lean these beds against happen to belong to our poor, misfortunate neighbors. The bunnies have noticed on their many trips out, that the local paint store has many of the pallets that the plan calls for to assemble these beds, so now they are wanting to go down there, with the wagon, to drag a pile back. And who do you think they have down to help pull this wagon? ME!
