Friday's Kitty Fit

Sorry for the noise today.  We hopped to the fabric store to take advantage of a great coupon only to learn they were having a sale on the dies for our lovely little fabric cutting machine.  We got a new die, and a cutting mat, and are debating buying a few more things.  Really, we're very sorry and we hope the kitty shrieks didn't disturb you too much.  And we hope the shrieks this afternoon didn't disrupt your trip home.  We went to a church craft sale this afternoon and were promptly bombarded with texts from Brother demanding to know what we were doing in a church on a day that wasn't Sunday, and was the paper right that there was a craft sale in progress, and for us to just get our cotton tails out at once.  Really, why can't someone confiscate his phone?  How did he get his paws on a phone in his hide out anyway?

Sorry for the Lack of Posts

We're sorry for the lack of posts.  Honestly, we didn't think it had been that long since we had posted, but obviously all of the continuous kitty shrieking had us a bit confused.  He's been totally awful, as I'm sure all of you know.  We went to that giant yard sale, and had a truly wonderful time, finding a giant pile of quilting magazines and patterns.  We just hope no one suffered permenant hearing damage as a result of the ensuing shrieks.  Goodness knows we feared that we would with our lovely big ears.  We spent two days attending an open house at the fabric store as well, encouraging people to sign up for stitching classes.  We kind of went to the open house early too.  Sorry about that.  We do hope you wanted to get up bright and early last weekend.  We got a lovely supply of new fabric at a deep discount while we were at this event and already have it all cut up for some new projects which Brother is as you can imagine ticked about.  Then we went out today and used some fabulous coupons at the fabric store to obtain more fabric, a new cutting mat for our planned class, a pressing mat and a template to make a wedding quilt.  The human has two cousins getting married soon, and we're sure we can put that to good use but Brother wasn't pleased at all.  Oh, and we let three new bears and a new monkey move in, bringing the sibling count to 956.

August Starting with a Shriek

Sorry about the shrieks to start the month.  We hope it didn't get things off to a bad start for anyone.  We learned today that the store that has hired us for stitching teaching is having another event in a couple of weeks to recruit students that we will need to attend.  We have a lovely idea for a project to take that is so easy to make and we are sure will get lots of attention.  Needless to say, Brother isn't taking this news well at all, and he's been ranting since he heard about how we better not set a paw out of the house to take part in this.  So annoying, and as this event doesn't take place for a couple of weeks, we don't expect things to quiet down any time soon.  Very, very sorry about that.

Sorry

Sorry for the lack of posting lately. We've been working on quilt stuff and haven't been able to access the blog as often as we would like. We did another shop hop last week, if anyone was wondering about all of the shrieks on Wednesday.  We visited seven different quilt shops in one day and we think you can guess how that cat took it.  We're surprised the phone wasn't damaged from his repeated, harrassing text messages demanding we get out of those shops at once.  We had a lovely time, though, and even found some wonderful bunny themed fabric.  If you wondered what the loud shriek at lunchtime was, it was due to our purchase of that, we are annoyed to say.  We also found a small cutter that we are optimistic about using for our fabric work.  We can't use it for everything we need because of it's small size, but still, it will be nice to have to work on little things, and it was a good deal, so we are very pleased about that.  And of course, the cat wasn't.  Sorry about that shriek.  We haven't taught any stitching classes yet, but hopefully soon.  We're signed up to teach a bunch, and we're working on a plan for stitching demonstrations to hopefully lure people in.  And once more, Brother is threatening to hold a protest should we do this.  We're not sure if he's serious or not.  He didn't show up to protest the last time we were at the store showing off stuff, but it rained, and he has water issues, so that might be why.  We will be sure to be prepared with netting nearby for purchase and tossing over him if he does show up this time.  Anyway, we're very excited about that, and are looking forward to it a lot.  We have an idea for a unique pattern to do that we hope will go over really well, and maybe a little bit of a simpler pattern that people might like too.  It ought to be a lot of fun.  Also, we have taken in six more siblings, including a boy rabbit, bringing the sibling count up to 937.

Sorry for Yesterday's Extended Rant

We're very sorry for yesterday's extended rant.  We had to hop in to the fabric store for an interview to show off some of our stitching.  Brother didn't take it well.  The following are just some of the texts we got.

Why is the GPS showing that you are at the fabric store yet again? You were just there on Saturday! Get out at once!

Why is the GPS showing that you are still at the fabric store? It has been an hour! It is Tuesday! There can't be a line at the cutting table! How much are you buying? The lot of you just drop any fabric in your paws this instant and get out!

It has been two hours! Why are you still in the fabric store? Are you interviewing for that job? You couldn't still be shopping. The store is not that big. Is someone actually planning to hire the lot of you? Get out of there right this minute! Nothing good can come of rabbits gaining employment!

Finally! You were in there three hours! You bunnies should be ashamed of yourselves! At least you're leaving now, though, and.... Wait, is that the library you're at? Get out! Get out of that den of rabbit encouragement at once! I know you're not going to pick up any decent literature there! Get out!

He was being awful. We don't want to think of what he will have to say when we have to hop back. There was some sort of scheduling mix-up and the lady we were supposed to meet wasn't there, even though we did wait for three hours. So we'll probably have to go back again, possibly this weekend, to see about showing her our stuff. Please brace yourselves now for the kitty fit that will ensue.

Apologies for Yesterday's Noise

Sorry for all of the noise yesterday.  A few churches were holding events that we hopped to, and you know how Brother reacted to that.  We kept getting texts with each church we stopped at, demanding to know what we were doing, and it wasn't Sunday, and to get out of that church at once.  He was just awful.  Anyway, we met the nicest bear at one of the churches, and then we met two more bears when we dropped by the local homeless shelter, bringing our sibling count to 925.  Also, we stopped by the fabric store and had a long chat about our hopeful employment there teaching stitching.  We have an appointment to go back this week to take samples of our work for display.  We suggest you keep your ear protection close at hand for the next few days.  You know how Brother will take us doing that.  Anyway, we're very sorry about all of the noise, but we're afraid it won't be quieter any time in the immediate future.

Continuing Noise Apologies

Sorry for the continuing kitty shrieks.  We hope everyone took our advice and kept their ear protection on.  We're afraid we found a simple way to enlarge some patterns to convert them to teddy use, so there has been much shrieking over that.  Also, we have visited the fabric store daily for the last couple of days, and have visited a few fabric departments of some other stores too, which seems to be ticking Brother off highly.  We have also been sewing, and have almost all of the blocks finished for a quilt, that we hope will land us the stitching teaching job of our dreams.  We hope to hear tomorrow.  If you hear a loud kitty explosion, you will know we got hired.  Please keep your ear protection on accordingly and keep your fingers crossed for us if you have them.

Extreme Noise

We do hope that everyone listened to us and kept your ear protection on today due to the nightmarish amount of noise.  First, this morning we hopped with the humans to the tire store.  You would think that Brother wouldn't have a problem with that, but no sooner did we hop in the door than we started getting texts demanding to know why we were there and pointing out that the people who worked their sold us a giant bag of fabric at a discount price a couple of weeks ago, and to get out at once.  That was annoying, but even worse happened when the humans were done, and we went to a couple of church events.  Brother was texting us the entire times demanding to know why we were at a church since it wasn't Sunday and we couldn't possibly be there for a sermon, and to leave at once.  Terribly annoying.  The church events were nice, though.  We found some lovely fabric, and some quilt patterns, and met two monkeys in need of a home who we invited to move in, bringing the sibling count to 918.  Then after we were through with visiting the church events, we dropped in to a quilt store and gathered some lovely fat quarters, including one in a bunny print. That drew down a nightmare amount of texts demanding that we exit that store immediately, and that we drop whatever was in our paws.  After that, we dropped in at the fabric store to check on that job, which we are very optimistic about.  It was so annoying, though, because Brother was texting the entire time demanding to know what we were doing staying in the store for so long, and to get out right away, and that we better not be serious about seeking employment.  Such an awful cat.  Then we had to visit another fabric store in search of a foot for our new sewing machine, and we found some lovely patterns for clothing, so he was shrieking about that too.  Really, we are so sorry for all of the noise.  We don't think things will quiet down any time soon, though, so please shield your ears accordingly.

Noise

We're very sorry for the noise.  We hopped to the fabric store to see about that job teaching stitching today, and we think we are very close to getting it.  We purchased fabric to make samples to take in to show our skill, along with some yardage for more quilts that was on sale.  Brother did not take it well, as you probably heard already.  We think the number of texts demanding to know what we were doing in the fabric store for so long and we they serious about allowing us employment, and to get out of there at once might have actually done some damage to the phone.  Anyway, please keep your ear protection on all weekend for your own wellbeing.  We are planning to work on samples, and we might be purchasing a little machine to speed stitching, so the shrieks are anticipated to be deafening.

Sorry

Sorry about the lack of posting.  Brother continues to harass us via the GPS tracking on our tablet, and we still haven't been able to turn off the feature without cutting off our access to it as well, and we need that feature to locate places.  He's being awful, and Friday was the worst, with him bombing us with a mass of texts when we hopped to a fabric store demanding to know what we were doing in there and why were we taking so long, and were we daring to get some fabric cut.  Very, very annoying, and then when we hopped out, we saw that a poor customer had just been ran down in the parking lot, which was highly alarming.  And we are highly suspicious of the timing, right before we hopped out.  Could this be a feline plot to frighten us away from such businesses?  We wouldn't put it past Brother.
